The boy was playing among the children when Apollo first saw him.

He couldn't have abandoned the sun chariot quicker; one moment the boy caught his eye, and in the other, the god was already walking through the earth.

Beautiful was the first word that came to his mind. Kind was the next. The boy spun on his heels, holding a young boy in the air. The other children laughed, screamed— some even fought. The beautiful boy would pretend to be hurt, pleading for mercy, and then, when the children wondered about the best decision, he would take one of them, spin them around, make them fly. Then they all would laugh. Apollo couldn't get his eyes away from him. He thought about approaching. He didn't. He hid between the grass instead and watched fondly, a smile adorning his lips, as the children pleaded, then laughed, then jumped at him.

(He pretended he didn't feel Eros' arrow through his chest, right on his heart. Eros wasn't going to get any satisfaction out of this.)

(Apollo kept his eye on the boy, anyway.)

It took only two days for him to abandon his chariot once again. The boy was hunting, with attentive eyes — such pretty, violet eyes — and a bow in his hands, an arrow prepared.

Apollo thought he was being careful. But he wasn't, apparently, because the boy turned his body in his direction and said: "At least try to be quiet while you chase me, I'm trying to hunt something."

The god rose, more confused than ashamed, and answered, "I'm a god."

The boy blinked. Then he smiled; a smile that made him look like a fox. "Yes, I know. The golden glow kind of gave that away."

"Are you not…"

"You're not the first god to pursue me." The boy laughed. Apollo thought it was the most beautiful sound in the universe. He had an urge to compose a song around his laughter alone, but even his own lyre couldn't capture the raw beauty.

"I'm Apollo."

"Hyacinthus." The boy answered (like the god's name was nothing more than a name) and his smile grew kinder. The sunlight hit his eyes in a way that made them look like jewels. Apollo thought: I want him. "So… Will you help me hunt?"

"Why would I?"

"This heart can't be conquered by godhood alone."

Hyacinthus started walking. Apollo, always naïve, followed.

The third time was fatal. The sun was shining brightly (a reflection of Apollo, for sure), and his boy (his, his) was moving under it. Apollo didn't know if he was dancing, training, or stretching. Didn't really matter; Hyacinthus could bend as much as he pleased, with full thighs and flexible arms and olive skin. He shouldn't be a mortal. No; Apollo could imagine ichor flowing through him, the earth trembling beneath him. Hyacinthus should have been eternal. Never-ending. And yet, here a was; a prince, the youngest son, the kindest, the most beautiful, and, well— mortal. Fragile, vulnerable, weak.

Apollo knew he shouldn't fall for a mortal. But his heart was a masochistic little thing.

Hyacinthus laughed when he saw him. Apollo smiled.

"Want to play a game with me?"

Apollo said yes. He didn't even think about it.

(Eros' arrow stung in his chest. But then Hyacinthus took his hand, his smile coy, and the arrow became a part of him.)

How do you think Corrin would react when she meets chrom again in warriors and how do you think chrom and ryoma would react when they meet each other??

Knowing Chrom, he may recognize Corrin, but I doubt he would recognize Ryoma or Xander. There’s also the whole thing of the DLC taking place just before Awakening starts, so if this is post Grima Chrom at least two years has passed since they last saw each other.

It might be nice to see how they interact in the game. I would imagine Ryoma and Chrom meeting one another would be... awkward. Also I really don’t know what to think when it comes to Ryoma and Chrom meeting. Let’s just hope that if supports are a thing in the game they’ll be better than Ryoma and Xander’s in Fates.

This is kind of timely since my mom got out of surgery recently and I had to stay in the Hospital for 2 weeks. It was hell but the fast food was good.

S/O IN RECOVERY AFTER A SURGERY HEADCANONS:

Before the surgery, looking after you was pretty straightforward since you still have mobility.

Waiting for the surgery to end was the worst part tbh. It’s not that he’s too worried, he is worried but the surgery takes so long that he can’t possibly be worried the entire time.

Like for the first half hour he’s a fidgety mess.

After that, he’s wondering how much longer he has to be nervous until it’s not insensitive to go on with life and check emails or something.

The surgery goes on through lunch so he gets something to eat from the fast food store in the hospital.

Stops eating every time someone passes him by because he feels like he should want to eat less from worrying.

Honestly, it’s sO ILLOGICAL how people are interpreted in stories and movies as too worried to do anything. Do you have any idea how long surgeries take? If they neglect themselves that long they will die.

So yes, Gladion will function like a normal person until they roll you back in.

“Why is [Y/N] unconscious? Shouldn’t [Y/N] be okay by now? Did the surgery go alright?”

“Yes, it did. Don’t worry, the body is healing itself. In the meantime, would you like to see the (insert organ/cist here) we extracted-”

“Thank you very much for the great work doctor but nO.”

Gladion is not going to stare at your organ/cist/whatever it is they extracted that’s??? Ew???

Come on, he doesn’t want to see your inners outside of you that’ll just make him more uneasy.

Does not leave the room even to shower until you wake up which is troublesome since it takes days.

Lillie complains about his smell a lot when you wake up hoping you’ll make him go home for a bath.

Gladion goes home once (1 time) to grab his toiletries and clothes and other things and doesn’t leave until you are released.

He’s very good at packing so whatever happens he’s ready.

Hair a mess since you can’t get up? He’s got various hair ties a brush and an honest to God blowdryer. 

You don’t need to tell him, just give him a hand signal, he knows he has to get the water and help you with it.

Will guide you to the hospital room shower but he’s not helping you shower. He buzzes for the nurse.

He’s just afraid he’ll slip up and you’ll fall and hurt yourself so he’d rather a professional handle it.

Gladion’s mothering skills are A++ so you have nothing to worry about.

Will smuggle you outside food if hospital food is too bland but it’s just outside food that is alright according to the doctors.

By the time he’s done talking to the doctors he’s soaked up so much knowledge it’s like he could go get licensed for a Phd himself.

“I’m… I’m almost a licensed zoologist, you know?”

“Oh! Right, Aether. Of course, you are.”

Basically, he has a good head for science.

He’s considerate, so he’ll let you choose the channels on the hospital room tv but he’ll also pull out a laptop so he can work while watching over you.

He’ll only sleep if you’ve already been sleeping for 30 minutes. And even then, it’s light naps.

Even after you get home, he’ll stay with you the entire 2 months you need to recover and then checks up on you after that.

He won’t take over everything for you, so he’ll let you do things that you’re strong enough to do and he gives you space, which is nice.

Sorry this took so long to answer! I had some stuff written down but lost it, and then I got very distracted. 

Here’s some headcanons about Lonashipping kids that I have! One day I may draw them (or someone else could if they would like to ;D)

I imagine they have 2 kids - a girl and a boy.

Name: Lucine

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Lucine has black hair and green eyes. Her hair is rather choppy like her father’s, but around the same length as her mother’s. 

Personality: Rather serious, but has a fun side around those she truly cares about. Lucine also has a weakness for cute things, and that is what made her choose Rowlet when beginning her Island Challenge. She can be rather rebellious, and wants nothing more than to become the Alolan Champion like her mother did. Though she and her brother are different in terms of personality, Lucine would literally kill for him. I think she would also be a tsundere.

Special Talents: She is amazing at Pokemon battles.

Who they like better: She loves both of her parents, but sometimes she fights with Gladion, because he can be very protective of her and sometimes she feels it holds her back.

Who they take after more: Gladion.

Personal Head canon: She really loves her dad’s Silvally. Moon sees this, and decides to give Lucine the Type: Null Gladion gave her years ago.

Gender: Male

General Appearance: Florian has blond hair and blue eyes. His bangs are in a similar style to his mother, but his hair is quite a bit shorter (similar to Sun’s hair).

Personality: Florian is incredibly upbeat and positive, which can sometimes annoy his older sister. He’s very kind, but can be incredibly naive at times. He loves nothing more than showing off, and when choosing his Starter Pokemon at the beginning of his Island Challenge, he picks Popplio because it loves to perform like him.

Special Talents: After travelling around Alola, he goes to other regions and finds that he has a great talent for Pokemon contests.

Who they like better: Moon. He’s a total mama’s boy.

Who they take after more: Moon.

Personal Head canon: I could see him having a contest rival that he eventually falls in love with.

How do you think hyacinthus would be like when it's capture the flag night and everyone decides to gang up on hyacinthus after they hear that he beated the little big three in a sword fight and chiron is in the background with apollo watching and apollo being proud of his boyfriend? Hyacinthusmanages to stand his ground.

The wholecamp is against him when capture the flag starts. He instantly knows it's becauseof the big three's defeat against him. This time, he has do admit, he actuallybreaks into a sweat.

The camp isfilled with demigods. And although Hyacinthus can beat dozens of them at a timewhen it comes to swords, archery, and the likes, he has no idea how to survivedozens and dozens of powerful kids with divine powers. Ten, twenty of them at atime? Sure, no problem. But the whole camp? That was an issue.

But heknows Apollo is watching. And he knows Apollo is talking well about him toChiron. Hyacinthus really doesn't have a choice.

Percy ridesa wave, Jason is flying, Nico is trying to convince Will he can shadow travel. TheHermes kids are a nuisance, Demeter Kids never fail to wrap his feet with grassand flowers, and the Aphrodite kids almostconvince him to break his own leg. It's insane. No one can live with himbeing held as invincible. They can't standit. Hyacinthus thinks it's really similar to the way gods can't accept the factsome heroes are better than them at something.

A child ofHypnos almost makes him fall asleep, and another from Hecate pops up out ofthin air. There's fire, there's water, and there's too many weapons. He runswildly, with aching feet. The Hermes kids are faster. They're gonna catch up.So will everyone else, apparently.

Hyacinthusenvies them, sometimes, with their fascinating powers and mind-boggling strength.But more than a mortal, he's a spartan. He can't just admit he actually feelslike he's not winning.

He sees theflag. He runs faster.

He hearsthe thundering of hundreds of feet behind him. The campers scream. Hyacinthusdidn't know he would have to prove his worth when he came back for his love.

Aparticularly mean kid throws a discus at him. Hyacinthus dodges, unperturbed,but he can hear Apollo shouting with desperation. The sound is too loud to comefrom a mortal. Most people stop screaming in surprise. Hyacinthus engraves thekid's face in his memory. He was definitely teaching that kid a lesson; not fortrying to stop him, no, but for making Apollo— or Lester, whatever — worry likethat.

Hyacinthusis angry when he reaches the flag — the trueflag, not the one he has previously seen. That has been a trick of themist, some child of Hecate playing games with him. Hyacinthus wouldn't havenoticed if not from the confidence of the others, like they knew. Then he had looked anywhere else,and the other flag stood, almost hidden by the mist.

The campersaren't very pleased — especially the Ares kids, who look at him with acombination of hatred and, well, admiration. Hyacinthus regards them the sameway. He had prayed to Ares a lot of times.

He quicklythrows the flag at the ground. Apollo and Chiron appear seconds after that.Apollo sighs in relief.

"Thatwas fun," Hyacinthus says. It's not a lie. But he still looks angry enoughto make it seem like one. "Really surprising how a mortal who has beendead for millennia can still beat a bunch of demigods. I would have lost,actually, if not for one… tiny detail."

"Iwould prefer if you were careful," Apollo mutters, still breathingirregularly.

"I'mfine, love." Hyacinthus offers a little smile. "Are you proud?"

"Ofcourse I am."

"Don'tworry about me," Hyacinthus' smile grows wider. "The universe neededtwo powerful gods to kill me. A bunch of demigods doesn't scare me."

Hyacinthuslooks at Chiron. "You need some better instructors. Who is teaching thischildren?"

"Uh…"

"Nevermind.I'll teach them myself."

Do you think that when corrin was a kid, that she would sleep with ryoma when she would get nightmares and mikoto would find corrin sleeping with ryoma and smile at them because I think that she knew that Corrin and ryoma would end up together??

I kind of do. I think Ryoma took the job of being Corrin’s big brother especially seriously because of knowing she wasn’t his father’s daughter. He probably even told her that he would protect her if anything bad ever happened to her. So when she had bad nightmares (or maybe visions of the future?) she definitely would run to Ryoma for support.

Honestly it is hinted at with the other Hoshido sibling S supports that Mikoto knew who Corrin was going to get with. So she probably did know that they would some time in the future.

How do you think Jace would act in camp when he's with the campers or polybaea or his parents (apollo and hyacinthus)? You can write this when you have the time too of course!

jace would be really close with his brothers and sisters in the apollo cabin. especially with kayla, since they were born pretty much in the same way. because of this, he would be a really good archer, since she would teach him how to. and will, being the counseler and all, would definitely spend a lot of time with him, given the fact that he’s the newest one in the cabin. so jace would be good with medicine as well! 

(i like to think he would be very powerful, kind of like meg, since apollo’s bond with hyacinthus is so strong. so the other campers would always be careful near him, even more so when apollo visits the camp and they really don’t want an angry god running after them.)

polybaea would love him so much. like, she loves being an aunt. she would play with him a lot, and mess up his hair, and teach him all the good old spartan moves that he needs to defend himself. 

and with his parents,,,, oh that would be so cute. apollo is a rather protective dad, and i know he cares about his children (him killing the cyclops that forged zeus’ bolt after zeus’ killed his son.... its one of my favorite myths, honestly) so he would take care of jace with all of his heart. like, everytime something happens to him, even if a really small thing, apollo’s powers would surge out of nowhere and everyone would try to calm him down. hyacinthus would be the only one suceeding in that, of course. and hyacinthus loves jace, he loves him so much, he can barely believe he actually managed to be a father (it was such an impossible idea when he rested for three millennia) so he literally cannot be away from jace for, like... more than two hours. he freaks out. he knows the world is dangerous and it mercilessly kills young boys like jace (like it did with him) so he literally hangs with him all the time. the only time he is assured is when jace is with the other apollo campers. (so him and apollo can go on dates). so, following this, if jace ever had to go on a quest, hyacinthus would be like,,, nuh uh. not on my fucking watch.

How do you think hyacinthus would get along with the apollo kids and nico, if he was brought back to life because of nero's plan? And how do you think he would act with all of the technological advancements in the camp??

i’ve thought about this one before!!

if hyacinthus comes back the same person he always was, I think the first thing he would do would be tease apollo about it. something like “you sure didn’t take long before spiritually cheating on me with thousands, huh” and “do you know how many men i’ve been with while inside that flower?? ZERO” (i have the headcanon hyacinthus would have a lot of fun with apollo apologizing profusely all the time, always crying). then he would kind of “adopt” the kids and call himself their stepfather, even when some of them are older than him. he would protect them immensely as well, even though they’re demigods and he’s,,, a puny mortal. he really wouldn’t mind apollo having children with other people, because, well. its been 3000 years. and he only wants apollo to be happy. 

however,,,, if hyacinthus came back twisted, his negative side would be amplified, and i think that would fuel some antagonism (feeling of being left behind, replaceable, never that important, even more so when apollo was the one who threw that damned discus). i think he would be very conflicted, but would ultimately understand

about nico: if hyacinthus on the good side, he would feel a lot of empathy towards him; he, too, was in love with a light, sunny being. he would always look out for him as well and give him lots of advice, probably. im pretty sure hyacinthus would have a friendly fight with him so they can establish which one of them is better with a sword (its definitely hyacinthus). if he’s in the bad side,,, nico would probably be an enemy, really. or hyacinthus wouldn’t really care. 

about technological advancements: hyacinthus is still young, so he would comform to this much more easily than someone older would. he would be extremely confused, but also delighted, because now everything is much more simple and easy. (he would freak out about bubble baths and the new music and the new sports, although those aren’t directly technology related)

If hyacinthus was at camp and he got the sword Excalibur from the weapons shed, who would win in a fight, hyacinthus or nico, Jason and percy if they all went against hyacinthus at the same time, while everyone watches and apollo and will are freaking out? You can write a one shot about this when you can!

Apollotried to warn them. He really did. But it ended up backfiring, really.

Nico hadbeen the first to attempt. He didn’t seem worried, his face calm and breathregular as he held his sword, forged with stygian iron. If anything, it lookedlike Nico wasn’t very into it, like it was a fight that wasn’t worth beingfought. Jason and Percy watched closely as Hyacinthus caressed the swords withthe tip of his finger carelessly, the skin on the tip hardened by the years ofscars on top of scars.

Apollowasn’t taking it well, being mortal and all. He wasn’t worried by Hyacinthus,no — the bastard could die with a discus to the head, but he would never diewhen the weapon was a sword. He was more worried about the other three.

“Howstrong can pretty boy really be, huh?” Percy smiled, playing with hispen-masked sword. Jason agreed with a nod. Will turned his eyes to his father.

“Don’tworry, Nico won’t let him die again.”

“That's…really not the problem, son.”

Hyacinthuschose some sword called Excalibur. He played around with it for a bit. Then hetook a fighting stance, his violet eyes becoming smaller with focus, his lipspressing against one another.

“Ican’t see the future, but,” Apollo lets out a nervous laugh.“Hyacinthus has already won.”

Will openshis mouth to say anything. He doesn’t have the time. Hyacinthus lets out abattle cry and moves with the speed of a wild animal, with twisting legs andspinning heels and firm wrists. His sword crashes against Nico’s once, twice,and then he relies on only leg power to send Nico flying. Hyacinthus pushes thesword away with his own, and then presses the tip of Excalibur against Nico’s neck.

“Demigodsthese days,” Hyacinthus huffs. “Even my baby sister could handle asword better than you.”

Apollosmiles proudly, muttering, “That’s my boy,”. Meanwhile, Will looks athis boyfriend with confusion. Percy and Jason have matching unbelieving eyes ontheir faces.

“Reallynice sword,” Hyacinthus comments. “I would have grabbed it from you,but it has a really bad energy around it. Try not to stab yourself with it,hm?”

Nico blinksfor a while. Then he climbs to his own feet, grabs his sword and says: “Ilet you win. Rematch.”

Hyacinthusdoesn’t even mind. “You do looklike you enjoy being manhandled.”

It’sworthless, really. Apollo sighs, a lovely sound, his eyes almost teary, as hispreviously dead boyfriend kicks his son’s boyfriend’s ass. It’s a beautifulsight, really; Hyacinthus, in all of his spartan glory, treating a sword likean extension of his own arm. Apollo could feel himself falling for him all overagain.

“Nico!”Will calls, already starting to sound a little worried. His boyfriend pretendshe doesn’t hear him. The dark look Will gets on his face reminds Apollo ofhimself, above the skies, raining plagues from his golden chariot. Apollo is alittle afraid. Perhaps his son had inherited that as well…?

Nico getsthrown a second time. Hyacinthus manages to grab Nico’s sword this time.

“Neverunderstood why only you people got the cool looking swords,” he mumbles.

“I’mnot finished yet!” Nico rages, while obviously having difficulty standingup.

“Theynever are,” Hyacinthus smiles. “And then they wonder why they’redead.”

This time,Nico gets a cut across his forehead (Will gasps, almost shaking, as Hyacinthuspresses the sword against the other’s head). Then he’s down, looking at the floorwith a bewildered expression.

“Listento your boyfriend,” Hyacinthus smiles. It’s such a gentle smile it’salmost offensive. “He knows better.”

Nico didn’treally care about winning now. Now, all he cared about was showing the boy infront of him how it felt to be thrown in the ground, helpless. Will watches,perplex, as Nico exchanges a look with the other two boys, who nod withaggravated faces and shaking hands. Percy clicks his pen. Jason flicks hiscoin. Their swords appear.

“Hey!That’s not fair,” Apollo screeches. “That’s three against one!”

“Unfairindeed,” Hyacinthus pouts. “If they wanted to fight fair, they shouldhave invited a dozen more to fight with them.”

Apollolooks at his not-so-boyfriend. He can’t help the smile that forms on his face.

The firstis Percy. He holds his sword proudly and expertly. Hyacinthus dodges. Thencomes Jason. Hyacinthus grabs his sword with such ease that for one moment, helooks like a magician, doing a magic trick: now you have it, now I have it! —and then Nico. He gets close enough to throw Excalibur away. Hyacinthus raisesan eyebrow, now only possessing Jason’s sword. Jason runs for the Excalibur.Percy and Nico find a way to corner him.

“Thatwas better,” Hyacinthus laughs. “But still… I expected a challenge.”

“Wehave you cornered,” Jason reminds him, joining the other two.

“Andit’s still not enough.”

Will bringshis hands to his hair when the three of them fall to the floor. He startsquestioning “What happened? What happened?! I didn’t see!” whileHyacinthus makes sure the other three boys aren’t too hurt.

“Badsword positioning,” Hyacinthus explains. “And amateur technique. Nicohas a dangerous sword, Percy has fluent movement, and Jason has strength. I havean itch you guys focus more on inherited powers than swords…”

“True,”Percy mutters, looking at his bleeding arm.

“Howdid you even learn how to fight like that?” Jason inquires.

Hyacinthuslooks at him. “It was either learning the ways of the sword or beingwhipped. It becomes easier when the marks on your back are still bleeding.”
