Each kiss was sweeter and more tempting than the last, the press of her soft lips to his eliciting a rush of shivers and a flare of rosy heat in his cheeks that refused to fade. Every peck was a promise for another, and he eagerly awaited for the next time she passed.

But the last kiss they shared was just after closing, the heat that rolled behind it putting a livelier flame in his gut. A smile was pressed to hers, but it melted into a smirk as he hoisted his beloved off her feet. Any sounds she might have made were swallowed whole and replaced with his low, silken voice.

“We’re closed now, my love,” purred the cook, “can I have a few more kisses?”

S   :   SWEETHEART.   did your muse have a childhood sweetheart?

✧ No, he didn’t! Riley was a bit sheltered as a kid, for one thing. For another, most of the other children he did interact with regularly were... not his type, to say the least. There were a few friends he made on trips or vacations, but he never knew any of them long enough for feelings to really spark.

Sera is the first person who has made him feel this way. ^-^

E   :   EMBRACE.   does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like?

✧ He does like hugs, though he rarely gives them. He’s careful, never wanting to overstep a boundary, so his hugs usually start off tentative, cautious. As soon as the other person leans into it, though, accepting the touch --- he goes all in, too, holding them close in a warm embrace.

R   :   ROMANCE.   is your muse a romantic or a cynic?

✧ He has romantic ideals, but tries to stay rooted in reality. He likes the ideas of things like “soulmates” but knows that what really makes a relationship work is effort, compassion, and understanding.

A   :   AFFECTION.   how does your muse show affection?

✧ Different ways, but mostly just by being there for his loved ones in some way, shape, or form. When he’s traveling by himself, he sends texts and photos to his friends often and often buys gifts when he finds something in a shop that makes him think of someone. Riley makes little gift bundles to present to people when he comes back from a trip, full of all the stuff he got for them.

When he’s actually together with his loved ones, he pays attention to them and is always checking in. “Want to do this? Or are you ready to go back?” He also smiles and laughs a lot more when he’s with a loved one, and is just... soft, I suppose? He’s very gentle when he’s affectionate, even though he can be a bit impish and teasing at times, too.

A kiss to the tip of his nose wasn't usually how Maika surprised him, but she was feeling sweet for once - a sweet only destroyed by her slow reach to slide his sunglasses off his face a moment later and a sly grin to tug at her lips. He didn't think she wouldn't mess around somehow, did he? "Keepin' these, I hope you know. Love your eyes better when I can see them." (<3333)

Seun hoped Sanji wasn't too distracted, else her surprise would be more of a shock than the softness she'd intended, but it wouldn't stop the small brunette from lifting his hand away from the counter and laying a soft kiss along his fingers. She'd been trying on veils all afternoon, and the short, dainty, delicate lace one still pinned to her hair was the last, but she couldn't keep herself from at least greeting him once she saw him! "Good evening~"

The gentle affections didn’t pull him away from his work immediately, but it did leave the nerves along his hand jittering. He chuckled once to himself, breath shallow and lips quirking at the corners. Only when he felt he could turn his eyes from the pot did he find her standing there, veil draped over her face.

His expression dropped, cheeks burning hot as he saw her in only a portion of her wedding attire. Sanji opened his mouth to speak, to say something charming, but he floundered. His mouth opened and closed, but no sound escaped. She was too gorgeous, too pure and angelic. He didn’t deserve someone as precious as her.

“I—Is that the one?” He swallowed hard and tried his best not to spoil their special day by imagining what the entire ensemble might look like. Nothing his imagination could provide would compare, he knew that. “You look — wow. I can’t believe I’m getting the chance the marry you.”

[The fact that these little jellybeans got like 0 time in the main series! Ok, Ai, Flame, and a few others got time bUt most of them barely got anything and I thought that was very sad and needed to be fixed. There was so much buildup to the Ignis and yet we only get to really know a couple of them : c

Why did you start RPing?

For a long time, I followed a couple of rp blogs on my main tumblr and thought it was cool but didn’t have the time/was scared to step into it. Funnily enough, someone asked me in DM’s if I was a Kaiba rp-er which at the time, I wasn’t. But I rp-ed with them for a while and found I really liked it, and eventually made the boys their own blog!

What’s an unsaid RP rule?

I mean, just the general etiquette rules, no godmodding, move asks to new post, etc. And like, for me at least, I don’t plan ships, I have to see muses interact quite a bit before thinking it a possibility lol I’m def a slow-burn shipper. ]

A random thought: I hope Adatchitoka is doing okay after their illness and I really, really hope the writing being the way it is now isn’t because of their burnout or pressure from their editor(s) and fans. OOF. (Please take care of yourselves, Adatchitoka! I still worry about your health…)

An unpopular opinion: Yatori isn’t a healthy ship. If it goes canon, it solidifies this manga as a tragedy IMO. Yato has told her time and time again he wants her to live and be happy. These things can’t co-exist.

My Canon OTP: Daikoku/Kofuku

My Non-canon OTP: Yaphina

Most Badass Character: Honestly, Yato. He’s been through so much, but he can still manage to smile and strive to be a ‘god of fortune.’ Amazing.

Most Epic Villain: Bishamon. That was probably my favorite arc in the story.

Pairing I am not a fan of: Yatori

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Yukine, Yato, and Hiyori. This current arc is especially messing up Yukine’s character but Yato has been rather OOC lately and Hiyori? So much potential wasted. I’m not surprised, but I am a bit disappointed.

Favourite Friendship: Yato and Kazuma, but also Yato and Daikoku.

Character I most identify with: Yato.

Character I wish I could be: Well, it might be fun to be a god in the context of this story. But not necessarily Yato. LOL.

When I started shipping them: When we started talking about the scenario that could lead to them meeting. LOL

My thoughts: aaaaah. I have so many? I don’t know how it got to the point it has but man, I think building Yaphina up has made me realize all the things that bother me about Yatori - because honestly? They have some similarities, but… Yatori has taken a hard swerve in the opposite direction. It’s night and day.

What makes me happy about them: They help each other get over their pasts and it’s… just so good.

What makes me sad about them: ALL THE FEELS. THE PAIN THEY GO THROUGH. OW. It hurts, but it gets better. I’m honestly just sad that Sera can’t be his canon love interest. Sigh.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: All the fic ideas I want for Yaphina are only written about Yatori… :(

Things I look for in fanfic: …Fic, in general. I look for fic, but I never find them, because I have to write them.

My wishlist: Anything, everything, I just want fics about them. ToT But in all seriousness, a story that goes into the whole arc we mapped out… man. Reincarnations, Tsukiyomi Theory, Shizune… Uncle Daikoku and Aunt Kofuku… Hiyori getting to be a happy highschool kid? PLEASE.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Yato and Bishamon or Kazuma (IF I had to chose anyone), Sera and Riley :D

My happily ever after for them: She lives to be old and grey, but still WANTS more time with Yato… at this point, either she becomes a spirit he can turn into a shinki when she dies (a rare OLD person shinki) OR she helped enough people in her life that they start to worship her as a facet of the Goddess of Compassion and Mercy… and since beliefs have power in Noragami, she is able to become a god beside Yato once enough people consider her one.

003 | Give me a character & I will tell you:

How I feel about this character: I have too many feelings to sum them up neatly, but… I find him interesting, I feel for him, I hope he finds success and happiness. I am also always honing in on hints about the Tsukiyomi Theory (i.e. the theory that Yato is actually Tsukiyomi, the moon god) because I feel like if it turns out to be true it would be a SUPER interesting twist and add layers to his story and character. I just… hope things end well for him. That’s all.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Sera, of course. Within canon… Kazuma, Bishamon, MAYBE the disaster duo (Kofuku or Daikoku.) I used to ship Yatori some, too, but that was earlier on and I really don’t like how it developed.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Yukine. AAH. I love their dynamic.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Pretty sure the most unpopular opinion I have is what I’ve already said about Yatori. LOL. I don’t think he’s good for Hiyori - he should be helping her get her life back on track.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I really want the Tsukiyomi Theory to be true. But I also wish they had gone into Yukine’s past in a different manner, and… I just want the found family back together, sigh.

Favorite friendship for this character: The Disaster Duo.

My crossover ship: It’s not a ship really but my favorite crossover for Yato is the one I’ve been building and bouncing off my sister. It involves Hunchback of Notre Dame and Voltron. Yato ended up having an interesting dynamic with Frollo, of all people.

“You look nervous.” The chuckle that slipped wasn’t meant to, but with how tense she appeared and how quiet she had fallen, it was hard not to find some amusement. She was more lively than this, usually, at least when it came to being around him.

Nudging her softly with his shoulder, he hoped to catch her attention. “It’ll be alright. Sunny’ll get you to your destination in no time, and without a single scratch. I promise.”

Hands far smaller than his own awkwardly slipped over Sanji's eyes, though with how she smelled of her signature beef stew, Seun was certain he'd pick up on just who'd snuck up behind him in no time at all. She'd spent far too much time in the kitchen for her to not come with hints of onion, beef, and garlic, after all, but since when would she ever let that stop her from popping in to say hello if she could~? "Guess who~?" ((<3 I spy a bear <3~))

It wasn’t only the smell that gave her away, but the feel on her hands and the sweet lilt of her voice in his ear. He knew her far too well to ever mistake her for another, but he played along because there was always the chance it might elicit laughter from his beloved — and oh, how he adored the sound.

“Let me think.  .  .” He gave an exaggerated hum as he reached up to cover her hands with his own. The person behind him was certainly his Seun, and he was given further proof when he traced the subtle burns along her skin with his fingertips. “Enchanting voice, hands that have worked so hard, the smell of cooking and the love behind it.”

He paused for effect, then broke the silence with a soft, sing-song tone.

“Would it happen to be my future wife, my one true love, my twinkling star and the beacon that brings me home? Seun-chan~!”
