Perchance firecracker x supe reader? Where they knew each other during the pageant stuff, reader is her polar opposite and wasn’t a competitor and was there for her sister or sum. Don’t have any specific ideas for their modern day stuff so go crazy :3
summary: angry firecracker, fem reader, sfw, short piece
She had known you for years, not that you ever knew it until recently.
From back when in her pagent days when she was but a starting supe participant and you a mere observer in the audience come to celebrate your sister, Starlight's, winning.
She hated Starlight for taking the win from her, but mostly for spreading rumors about how poor and dumb she was, about how she needed to spread her legs to convince the judges to pick her.
Firecracker would never forgive Starlight for this, but Starlight was one of the Seven now, and untouchable. You, her less lucky and powerful sister, were not.
Your powers were barely a glimmer to what Starlight could do, and Firecracker was going to put you in your place.
Unfortunately for her, she didn't count on the fact that you'd become extremely good looking over the years causing her to be more than slightly distracted with fighting you. You'd grown out of your awkward teen phase, and put in effort to work out. Your powers may not be the strongest but with training you could enhance them.
Firecracker didn't know that, and that was her first mistake: challenging you.
You had her pinned to the ground, hands behind her back, knee to her spine to prevent her from getting up. "Wait, I remember you," you said, blinking at her, recognizing the red hair and the fire in her eyes now that your self defense skills calmed down. "Didn't you have a scandal at the-"
"Your sister," she spat, trying to wrest herself free and failing, "ruined my reptuation by making up a bunch of lies about me whoring myself out to the judges. She cost me the win and my reputation. I lost everything when she did that."
You stayed silent a moment, knowing that the only reason she had done that had been because you had told her to. Starlight hadn't wanted to do it, she wasn't that kind of person. Always used to everyone adoring her for being kind and true. You, used to being overlooked because of her, knew sometimes shady methods were needed to win. And you had wanted her to win because despite her being the favored child, she was still your sister.
You warred with morals, before speaking. "You've been hating the wrong person this whole time. I was the one who told Starlight to do that. I wanted her to win and you were the biggest threat because you had southern charm."
"You!" Firecracker hissed, trying to toss you off once more. You stayed firm, grunting in effort to shove her down, other hand pushing down the back of her head to force her mouth into the ground. "You did this to me!"
Guilt filled you. You regretted your actions. "Can we, come to an agreement?"
"I'll bust your face open!"
"I'd like to make it up to you," you said, not fazed by her threats. You were stronger than her by a lot. "For everything I did. Will you let me?"
She stilled, thinking this over. Her face did not soften. "I'll never forgive you. Never."
"You don't have to," you told her. "But I'd like you to at least let me treat you to dinner."
"I'd rather eat dirt than eat dinner with you," she grumbled, but missing a bit of her bite.
"Alright, a coffee."
"Do I get to spit in your cup?" she shot back and you chuckled.
You supposed this was a start.

Supe Preference: Asking You Out
Requested: hi, idk if you write for the supes, but I will try request anyway :D how would the supes ( the boys series) ask a gn reader out? Ty - anon
A/N: I hope this is okay my love! I tried to stay true to character as much as possible, so I'm not sure how romantic some of them are. I tried writing for new Supes too, at least new for me, so apologies if it's not totally in character! Feedback is always appreciated! 💜💜💜
Homelander doesn't exactly ask you out. Rather, on live TV during an interview or event, he grabs your hand and proclaims that you're in love, that you're a couple. Whether or not you're into him, it still comes as a shock. Afterwards he'll ask you on a date where the public and paparazzi can see and take pictures. It's not as intimate as you'd like, but the date goes well. He takes you to an expensive restaurant where you've gotten rid of your suit for something classy and elegant, but he sticks with his regular attire. It's definitely not how you were expecting to be asked out or how you thought your relationship would progress. Ashley thinks it's great! You are both insanely powerful and, for selfish reasons, she wants Homelander off her back. She appreciates that you'll take some of the attention off her.
The Deep probably makes more than a few inappropriate, crude, raunchy jokes about and around you before he properly introduces himself. It's almost compulsive the way his jokes come out. He just can't help himself. He later apologizes and asks to start fresh. Would you want to go out on a date with him? When you say yes, he instantly tells you about all his ideas. You could go to the aquarium or to dinner or to the amusement park or coffee or whatever you want to do. You stick to coffee. It's pretty cute how excited he is. He wasn't expecting you to say yes, so he really didn't have it planned all the way through. He was expecting, like everyone else in his life, for you to call him stupid and move on without answering.
A-Train and you have been dating forever, but you haven't been out on a date in ages. He's still shy trying to ask you out even now. Of course you say yes, excited you'll get some time alone. You might have to reschedule once or twice because Homelander is on the rampage, but when you do get together, he takes you rollerskating. Despite how fast he is in sneakers, he's awful on wheels. He holds your hand the entire time and definitely drags you down when he falls. He stays pretty casual in his clothes and tries to keep his hood up, but it just falls down. You guys find a roller-rink in the middle of nowhere, so you're pretty safe in being discovered. You make fun of his clumsiness and check him for bruises when he falls, especially hard. He makes the same joke over and over: that he "fell" for you. You think he's an idiot, but this is by far one of your most favorite dates.
Queen Maeve asks you out over text. When you say yes, she shows up in her civilian clothes. She makes sure she isn't followed and that Homelander is distracted the entire day. She takes you to the movies. It's dark and secluded, but she knows you love movie theater popcorn specifically with all the butter and the blue raspberry slushies, and you picked the only movie not funded by or produced by Vought. It's a really terrible comedy, but you two can laugh at it anyway. Maeve even holds your hand during the movie which makes her heart beat out of her chest. Afterwards she makes you stay after to kiss you and tell you she had a really great time. It's the first time in forever where she's felt like a real person whose allowed to do real person things. She wants to get your read on it, but you're both excited for a second date.
Firecracker would ask you on a date to some fast food restaurant where you can get the best greasy food and the thickest milkshakes. She'll definitely be sported because she doesn't go incognito and ends up spending a few minutes at least taking pictures and videos for everyone who wants one. She apologizes for them, but secretly, she loves it. You don't mind. You knew what you were getting into when you said yes to the date. She tells you about her life growing up and her past with Starlight. You tell her about your own life and how you came to New York to follow your dreams. She tells you about joining The Seven and what she really thinks of Vought. It isn't the most magical date, but you're glad you said yes. It made you feel like a teenager again, getting food with your old crush, trying to play it cool when you're actually freaking out.
Soldier Boy doesn't really ask you out on a date. You two *get busy* in bed and afterwards he asks if you'd want to go to a bar. You say yes and find yourself at a local hole in the wall, a place that definitely doesn't see new faces. Most of the patrons are as old as Ben would be if he'd aged. He looks so familiar to them, but they can't figure out where he's from. An old friend? An old co-worker? Regardless, they don't pay attention to the two of you. You and Ben start trying to out drink one another and though his tolerance is astronomically higher than yours, you keep up enough to impress him. You two probably go back to bed and keep drinking, sharing stories about your lives between sweaty sheets and shared sips of whatever booze he has lying around. It's not too official, but you both kind of think of it as a date.
Bonus! Annie asks you to go bowling with her. Like in the show, she plays it off like she's not very good until you point it out to her. That's when she starts kicking your ass. She's really embarrassed and worried that you'll think she's showing off or just trying to make you feel bad, but you love it. You love her strength. You love her showing off and almost breaking the pins with the ball. You get really awful bowling alley food and beers, and it's a really fun night despite all the drama that comes with being Starlight. It's the first time in a long time she's felt normal and safe and excited to be here, excited to be herself. You're not shy about asking for a second date, though you know you're risking a lot by wanting to be with her. She makes that known before anything else.

hi, I loved your s4 writings (the one with sister sage and the other one with ryan). if you want to, can you write something with firecracker and ophera as rivals? maybe ophera wants to kick her out of the Seven or she protects Ryan from her. I'm sure anything you write will be great.
btw your art is gorgeous, I love your ophera design!! I'm a beginner artist, and your work really inspires me to learn and be better in this.
Sure!! I love exploring interactions and relationships with other characters from the series (any suggestions is more than welcome), but I suppose now is Firecraker's turn ❤️🔥
Btw, thank you for your kind words, I'm honoured! Keep going and never stop drawing! ✨
The fire inside;
Pairing: Homelander x fem!super (Ophera) + villain!Firecracker TW: dark themes, violence, blood, torture, revenge p**n and nsfw (mentioned), Herogasm situation (mentioned) Timeline: season 4 Words count: 6,2k

''I know what's better for him. And for his father too. Anything. I'll do anything for them.''
Firecracker's pedantic voice filled the Seven's common room, while you were the only ones there, waiting for the morning meeting. At first your interactions seemed to go well, there was a sort of mutual respect. She didn't get in the way of your plans. You didn't get in her way as well.
But for some reasons unknown to you, from the moment you were introduced to Ryan, something has changed. Jealousy. Horrible jealousy had begun to flow through the veins of the fiery new addition to the team. You are what she always wanted to be, famous, admired, probably loved.
''I don't expect the same from you. But have the decency to step back and make room for me, who knows what I'm doing."
''You don't know what you're talking about Firecracker. Stay away from Homelander business, it's better for everyone."
The coldness of your demeanor and the superiority complex you exuded, clearly touched a raw nerve.
She took a step closer towards you, trying to look intimidating. Though it felt more like an act than anything else. Firecracker's slender form was considerably shorter, the height difference making it even more ridiculous.
''Better for everyone? Including Ryan? Do you think you're good for him?''
You had no difficulty maintaining a cold gaze, your expression remaining completely stoic. You stood confident, exuding a sense of superiority over her, as if letting her know that you were definitely better, without a doubt. You hadn't appreciated Homelander's decision to make you responsible for Ryan, as if you were his ''mother'', but you decided that you would protect him at all cost.
''Do you know your place or do I need to remind you?''
Firecracker was taken aback by your cold response, not expecting such a confident and dismissive reply. She gritted her teeth, her fists clenching involuntarily at her sides.
"You really think you're something, don't you? Just because Homelander choose you as his public partner? You're just a clown performing on the stage. I bring the truth to people!"
You kept your composure, not showing any signs of intimidation or defensiveness in the face of her aggression. Instead, you let out a soft, mocking laugh, the sound dripping with disdain.
"Please, spare me the charade. You think I'm intimidated by this little act of yours? Things cannot change."
"Act?!" she replied, her voice taut with anger. "I could burn you alive without breaking a sweat. Do you really want to test me?"
You raised an eyebrow at her threat, silently amused by the level of her arrogance. You took another step closer, your confident smile refusing to waver.
''Your weak fire cannot destroy the metal in my body.''
Just as the tension between you was reaching its peak, the sound of the meeting room door opening broke through the air, interrupting the heated moment. Before any further exchange could take place, the door to the conference room swung open. Homelander and The Deep entered, breaking the standoff between you two.
They were deep in conversation, not even noticing the tense atmosphere in the room. Firecracker quickly composed herself, masking her annoyance with a forced smile, while you maintained your composure, watching the two as they approached.
"Ah, there you are. Arrived early this morning, good girls." Homelander said, finally taking notice of you two. He gave you a friendly nod before turning his gaze to Firecracker, his eyes showing annoyance at her big smile.
The Deep shifted uncomfortably, clearly feeling the lingering tension in the room. "Everything okay?" he asked, glancing between you and her.
Firecracker's fake smile remained plastered on her face, her voice dripping with faux cheerfulness. "Everything's perfect!" she replied, shooting you a quick, insincere glance.
And the scene ends like this, you took your seat beside Homelander and you really hope you've been clear enough with her. You hope it no longer intrudes on the extremely delicate balance you're trying to maintain between you, Ryan and his father.
The day quickly transitioned into night, and with most of the Seven dispersed for the evening, you were walking through the now-deserted hall when you heard footsteps approaching. Turning, you saw Firecracker walking towards you, a malicious smile on her face.
''No, not you again, please.''
"We're on the same team silly, did you forget already?" she said, a sly smile playing on her lips. "I was hoping I'd run into you tonight, I have something important to discuss with you."
Her tone was almost too sweet, the false cheerfulness making your stomach churn. "What do you want?" you asked curtly, keeping your voice cold and detached.
"Come on, no need to be so cold." She stepped closer to you, invading your personal space.
You roll your eyes, bored by his extreme closeness. And you decide to move the conversation with a sarcastic tone. ''If you get any closer, I'll start to think that you have some special interest in me. And I don't think Homelander would be happy about that. He is very jealous of his possessions.''
Firecracker's smile faltered for a millisecond at the indirect mention of Homelander. She clenched her jaws, her eyes narrowing slightly, before regaining her composure.
"Don't flatter yourself Ophera. I don't have any ''special'' interest in you." despite her denial, you caught the hint of defensiveness in her tone. Clearly, the idea of you being the object of Homelander's interest and not her had struck a nerve.
"Then what do you want?" you asked point-blank, crossing your arms over your chest.
"I got something about you.''
You raised an eyebrow, trying to appear unruffled. "Oh? And I'm curious what that might be?"
"I have a video. A video of you in… a very compromising position. That, If it were to go public..." she began, her voice dripping with venomous honey. "...would really damage your reputation."
A chill went down your spine as her words stung. You managed to keep your expression relatively blank, but inside you felt a wave of anxiety. How did she get a video of you? Your mind raced, trying to remember any situations where you could have been secretly filmed.
Or she was lying, maybe it's just a bluff, of course, it has to be like that. "Oh please, you're bluffing.''
"Bluffing? No, unfortunately for you, I'm not." she replied, her voice dripping with feigned sympathy.
''Then prove it. Show me this so-called video." you say with a confident grin on your face, keeping your arms crossed over your chest, still thinking she's lying.
"Sure, just to make things clear, let me show you…" Firecracker pulled out her phone, scrolling through the gallery to find the video. Your heart sank into your stomach as you watched Firecracker produce her phone. She was not bluffing. She really seemed to have something. A real video that would certainly cause a scandal.
She found the video and held the display towards you. You could clearly see yourself in the video. In one of your best Herogasm performances. You were always untouchable at that particular event, no one dared to touch you since you were Homelander's public partner. But someone's company wasn't necessary, you could perfectly satisfy yourself on your own, all you needed was an adoring audience watching you.
You had always been so careful, so meticulous in keeping your activities discreet. And yet, here was proof, captured on camera. HD. 4K.
Your initial reaction was anger, both at her for having the video and at yourself for being so unwary. But there was something else behind the anger, an even more primal feeling: fear. The fear of having your reputation and your place in the Seven ruined by one video.
She pushed the phone closer to your face, forcing you to look at the damning footage again. "Imagine this being leaked. How do you think the public would react? How would Homelander react?"
The thought of the whole America seeing this video, the idea of Hoemlander seeing it, his reaction, the damage it could cause - it was all too much to consider. The rage that had just barely been contained now exploded. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, your mind swirling with worst-case scenarios.
"Where did you get this?" you asked, your voice slightly shaky despite your attempts to keep it steady. "Who else has seen it?"
''I have my sources." she responded with a smile. "And don't worry, as of now only I have seen it. But who knows what might happen if this were to get into the wrong hands…"
You stared straight into Firecracker's eyes with a burning glare.
''You have ten seconds to give me just one good reason not to punch you in the face, and destroy your phone with that damn video inside.''
She had underestimated the anger beneath your cool veneer, and now she was taken aback by your threat. Her bravado waned slightly.
"Oh, look to you, all threatening and violence." she said sarcastically, trying to mask her momentary alarm. "Are you sure you want to do that? Even if you break my phone, I have the video backed up. Now, you, the American sweetheart, are about to do exactly as I say."
"I'm listening." you answered coldly and defeated, the anger in your voice barely leashed.
''Mmh. Rather than just listening, maybe you should pay more attention to your surroundings, danger can hide at every corner.'' she smirked, triumph radiating from her. She had you exactly where she wanted you.
You can sense something is wrong, a negative feeling invades your chest. It's too quiet around you, and the Tower of Seven never is. She gave you a smile as realization slowly dawned on you. You had been so focused on the confrontation with her that you hadn't noticed the silence that had enveloped the area around you. Her words, though vague, were starting to paint a more alarming picture.
''What the hell are you talking about?''
''You'll see. Very soon.''
Your worst fears were confirmed when unexpected hands seized you from behind. Strangers. They grabbed you from various points around your body, rendering you unable to struggle as they forced you to the floor.
You feel a needle prick your neck, and an icy liquid invade your veins, making your powers temporarily unusable. You struggled against their grasp, but it was in vain. Now the masked strangers were stronger than you, their grip on you unyielding. You were in the middle of what seemed to be a very well-planned and synchronized kidnapping.
"Don't even bother struggling. They've been paid a lot of money for this. And they're very professional." she said, approaching you as you lay helpless on the floor.
''Ah! Good luck trying to kill me, it won't be that easy!'' you reply, but the strength that usually coursed through your veins seemed to have deserted you, leaving you at the mercy of these unknown individuals.
"Who said anything about killing? Oh no, no. I have something special planned for you, love. I have more creative plans for you.''
''Fuck yourself, crazy ass bitch.'' you're spitting venom with your words, the desire to destroy them all is tearing you apart.
"You see Ophera, I know you're invincible, or that you like to think yourself of such." she continued, her tone mocking. "But now, thanks to that little injection of Compound V inhibitor they've just shot you with, you're quite defenseless."
''The effect of the inhibitor will not last forever, you know that?''
''Yeah, I know silly! But it will last long enough to make you disappear. Gone, forever. No more shows, no new albums, no afternoon with Ryan, no gala dinner with the Seven.''
Then Firecracker reached down and grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at her face.
"And Homelander won't be happy, when he comes back and finds out you're gone. Without any warning or goodbye messages. Oh, I can't wait to see the look on his face."
Despite the effects of the drug rapidly dulling your senses and your powers, a little smirk escaped your lips.
"Oh please… You really think that's going to work? You really think Homelander won't figure it out? He's not blind to obvious sabotage, trust me. He'll find me."
"You think you know everything, don't you? It's time for a reality check, love. This isn't just about a spot in the Seven, this is about making sure Homelander looks at me, me and not you. I want his attention, his praise, his everything. He's the one I want and nothing will stand in my way."
You locked eyes with her, your voice strangely calm despite the effects of the drug and your weakening state. You laughed bitterly.
"You think it's all sunshine and rainbows, being his favourite? Please, you're more stupid than I thought. Homelander's love could be a death sentence. To have his twisted obsession on you. His attention can be a curse as much as it can be a blessing. You're pathetic. And you don't know anything about the burden of being his beloved, trust me."
Surprise is clear on her face. The way you talked, the way you described being Homelander's favorite... for a moment, she didn't know how to react to your words.
"Oh, I bet it's soooo hard being Homelander's little sweetheart, getting all the fame and recognition while the rest of us have to fight for scraps." she spit with venomous sarcasm. "Boo-hoo, poor you, suffering under his terrible twisted obsession. You have everything! His love, his attention, his hands on you… Fuck, you're his damn public girlfriend! You have no idea what I'd give to be in your place."
There it was-the truth. The real reason behind her hostility, her jealousy, her attempts to bring you down.
''I don't think... I don't think you know... what it means to be in my place. His… isn't… love. You're going to...hurt yourself-''
Before you could finish your sentence, your vision began to blur and your head grew heavy with fatigue. The drug finally taking hold, you lost consciousness, sinking into oblivion.
Firecracker gestured to the group of men, and one of them picked you up effortlessly.
"Now. Time for the final act. You know the plan, take her somewhere isolated and secret. And make damn sure no one finds her. Respect the orders, no one will have to recognize her, ruin that pretty face as best you can.''
The masked men nodded in response, lifting your unconscious body with ease and proceeding to carry you to a waiting van outside the Tower. Once you were safely inside, the van doors shut with a loud thud, and the vehicle soon vanished into the night.
Firecracker felt a surge of triumph. Her plan had gone flawlessly. You were gone, out of the picture-at least for the foreseeable future. But the taste of victory was bittersweet. Deep down, she knew that once Homelander discovered your disappearance, hell would break loose.
Indefinite moments, minutes, hours pass. You can't say how much has passed since that evening.
Your eyelids flickered open, a disoriented groan escaping your lips. Your head throbbed with a dull pain, and for a few moments your vision remained a blurry mess. Then, slowly, your surroundings began to come into focus. You were in an abandoned warehouse, the air thick with dust and a musty scent. The walls were crumbling, and the silence around you was interrupted only by the sound of your own shallow breathing.
You tried to move, but quickly realized your limbs were tightly bound to a chair. You felt the bite of rough rope against your skin, the tight ropes digging into your flesh as you struggled. The abandoned warehouse was cold and eerie, the only company provided by the ominous figures that stood guard around you. They were all wearing masks, making it impossible for you to identify any of them.
"Oh great, this isn't a cliché scenario at all…" you muttered sarcastically, your eyes scanning the area for any potential escape route.
One of the men, the tallest one, stepped closer to you at the sound of your voice. He took a couple of seconds to assess your situation before speaking up in a low voice.
"Looks like our little songbird finally woke up. I hope you're comfortable." he said, a hint of mockery underlying his words.
"Well, this is a lovely place you've brought me to." you drawled, feigning nonchalance. "Not exactly the five-star hotel I booked last week."
Despite the situation, the guard chuckled at your sarcastic reply. "Oh, sorry to disappoint. Our five-star prisoner need another room? Unfortunately they're all booked.''
You rolled your eyes, silently thinking of the countless witty comebacks that were at your fingertips but couldn't be voiced at the moment.
Then the men leaned in closer, now mere inches from you. "Now, enough chitchat. We've been paid to keep you here and we have strict orders to follow. So, do us all a favor, stay cooperative and keep your pretty mouth shut."
Their cold demeanor and close proximity sent chills down your spine. It was clear they were not here to joke around. One of the other guys stepped forwards, standing almost directly behind you.
"We were paid for a specific task." he chimed in, his voice dripping with a mocking sweetness. "And that task is: to make you as unrecognizable as possible."
His words sent a new wave of fear coursing through you. Unrecognizable. What the hell did that mean?
You swallowed heavily, a sense of dread beginning to grow in the pit of your stomach. "What exactly do you mean by unrecognizable?"
''Just a few…adjustments to your lovely face, body and maybe hair." the man behind you said.
They really intend to disfigure your face? Ruin your body and fill you with scars? Of course. So that you are no longer fit to be in the spotlight. That's one of your greatest fears, even more than great heights perhaps. You struggled against the ropes binding your wrists and legs, trying to break free, but the only result was the ropes digging into your skin even more.
The man behind you chuckled at your struggles. "Don't bother trying to break free. You aren't going anywhere.''
Another man, the largest one, spoke up. "Yeah, so save your energy for what's coming next."
The tall man started to circle around you, examining you from different angles like a piece of meat on display. Each circle he made around you sent a new wave of disgust through your body, and you had to resist the urge to spit at him.
''So, what's coming next assholes?''
He stopped in front of you, a cold smile on his face. He pulled out a shiny little knife from his pocket, the blade glinting menacingly in the dim light.
"Now, now, that's not a very nice way to talk to the people holding your fate in their hands." he warned, holding the weapon close to your face. Then the blade of the weapon traced a light, teasing line from your chin down to your chest.
The cold metal against your skin sent a fresh wave of fear coursing through you. You didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing your terror, though.
"Is that supposed to scare me?" you retorted, attempting to sound defiant. You could feel your heart pounding in your chest, but you forced yourself to remain calm. You refused to give them the satisfaction of seeing you break.
The group was momentarily taken aback by your apparent bravado. "Playing tough uh? But we'll see how long that lasts once we start carving up that pretty face of yours.''
When he moves the knife in your direction, you instinctively move your face and pull back in your uncomfortable sit, showing how scary this thing can really be for you. Fuck. How long does it take for your powers to return?
What you need now is just a bit of time, extra time.
''Wait- Wait! Just for a moment! If Firecracker paid you to do this, I can pay you a lot more, absolutely, no doubt!''
The mercenaries exchanged glances, clearly caught off guard by your attempt to stop them. The man holding the knife pulled back, a skeptical look on his face.
"You're really trying to buy us off right now?''
You mask your fear behind a ridicoulous smile, the same you use to charm your fans.
''Oh come on, everyone has a price. Just kindly asking what's yours.''
"You're quite the charmer, aren't you? I never would have guessed beneath all that sparkle and charm is just a desperate, bargaining diva.''
''Desperate? Me? Hardly. I just know how to play my cards and get what I want.''
The mercenary chuckled again, but his expression took on a more serious note. ''But I gotta admit, you're right about everyone having a price. Let's say hypothetically we were open to negotiation. Just hypothetically, of course. What's your offer?''
You took a deep breath, mentally calculating the worth that you could possibly offer to these men if it means they'll spare you.
"How does 25 million sound?" you said, keeping your tone casual.
The men all looked at each other again, clearly surprised by the amount you had just thrown out there. One of them whistled lowly.
"Sweet lord, that's a hefty sum. You're really willing to pay us that much just to spare that pretty face of yours, huh?"
As you talk with them, you feel the time ticking away, and you are still tied to a chair and unable to fight. Frustration would soon turn to anger and you would lose your temper. Then, all your diplomacy suddenly fails.
"What, you didn't think I had that kind of money to spare?! I'm a damn Seven! Of course I can afford it! Believe me, I'm worth much more alive and well than disfigured or dead."
Bad move, really bad move.
Your sudden outburst and loss of diplomacy did not go unnoticed by the men. They were clearly enjoying seeing the cracks in your composure. The idea that you were worth more alive, that they could get even more money from Firecracker to ruin you, was already setting in.
This was turning into a game of cutthroat negotiations.
"Well, well, well." the tallest man chuckled. "Looks like the little diva's mask is coming off. All this time, pretending to be so calm and collected, and now you're getting desperate. It's quite entertaining, isn't it, boys?"
As the men closed in on you, the situation was starting to feel hopeless. You had miscalculated, and now your attempts at bribery seemed to be backfiring. The reality of your predicament was setting in as the men circled around you like a pack of hungry wolves.
"No more deals. You're worth more alive for sure, and we'll talk to Firecracker to get more money to end this work, but in the meantime we can make sure you're not quite as perfect anymore..."
You quickly weigh the options. These men are more interested in doing their job than listening to you. You're tied to a chair. No powers. No escape route. All you can do is bargain, and hope to delay them long enough to get out of this mess.
''Fine...do your worst.''
You lower your head and close your eyes, your only option is to try to resist, until the Compound V inhibitor has finished its effect.
They began to pummel you, their fists raining down on your body. You tried to resist, to fight back, but your strength was fading. The Compound V inhibitor was still there. Each blow felt like it was tearing through your very being, pain radiating throughout your body like fire through a dry forest. You held onto consciousness by sheer determination and will, refusing to show weakness even in the face of pain. You gritted your teeth, refusing to let them see your weakness. Hiding your face, your most precious possession. Your uniform was stained with blood, your skin bruised and battered, but you managed to resist the urge to cry out.
You couldn't give them satisfaction.
Time passes, and your desperate plan finally takes effect. They wasted their time hitting you, without thinking about their main task anymore. How stupid humans are. And you bought the time you needed. The time it takes to regain your powers.
As the men's fists continued to rain down on you, you felt less pain, finally. With a burst of strength, you managed to break free from your bonds and pushing them back. Gaining a few meters of breathing space around you. Your vision was blurred, and your body ached, but you were free. You lunged at the nearest man, knocking him to the ground. The others were taken aback, their surprise momentarily stopping on their places.
The leader, the one holding the knife, was the first to recover. He quickly recomposed himself, a dangerous gleam in his eyes. He quickly realize the situation has changed. You're no longer tied up and sedated, and you've already shown that you're a threat. He quickly pulls out a syringe with another dose of inhibitor inside.
"Grab her, don't let her get away!"
You stay dead silent. Full of fury. With fire inside your body.
As they rush at you, you spot the weapons they have on them. You feel the familiar pull and tug of your powers coming back to you. Taking a deep breath, you focus all your energy on the metal objects around them, using your powers to grab and pull on them. You can feel the weapons being yanked out of their hands, as if invisible strings were attached to them.
With a flick of your wrists and your powers now back in full effect, the weapons float around you, like obedient puppets waiting for your command. Metal barrels, knives, and a few firearms all levitate in the air, circling around you. A dangerous gleam in your eyes. You look like a terrifying sight.
A dangerous goddess dressed in red of her own blood.
Their eyes darting from you to the weapons floating around you. They look at you with fear, finally seeing you for the supe you truly are.
In the meantime, Firecracker stood before the massive glass windows of the Tower, looking out over the New York skyline. Her heart was racing, a feeling of triumph coursing through her veins. She had succeeded in her plan, you were gone.
Homelander was nearby, staring out at the city with a mixture of anger and confusion. The news of your disappearance had already reached his ears, and he was anxiously pacing back and forth, waiting for anyone to give him an update.
Firecracker approached Homelander cautiously, trying to mimic a concerned and empathetic expression. But it was evident that her words were nothing more than a facade.
"Hey..." she said softly, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know this must be hard for you. I can't imagine how much you care for her. But you know how she is, she's unpredictable, fickle, frivolous.''
Homelander turned his red burning eyes at her. "I don't need your sympathy, Firecracker." he snapped. "I need her back."
Taken aback by his harsh tone, she started caressing his shoulder. "I understand, I really do. But we have to be realistic here. Her role was heavy, she did this job for many years, maybe she was tired. But of course, it's horrible that she didn't tell you anything.'' she adds, to make him doubt your loyalty.
Homelander's face darkened at her words. "She has always done everything I asked of her. Never once did she waver. No, this isn't... right.''
She continued her act, feigning concern while trying to sow seeds of doubt in Homelander's mind.
"Maybe her loyalty wasn't as strong as you thought. Maybe she was just waiting for the right moment to escape.''
"You're trying to say she betrayed me? That she's a traitor?"
He hated the idea that you would betray him, but Firecracker's words were starting to sow seeds of doubt. She could almost see the wheels turning in his mind, the seeds of doubt starting to take root.
But without warning her phone rings, and an unknown number appears on the screen. Her heart skipped a beat, and quickly she excused herself from Homelander, taking a step away and answered the call. She expected to hear the news of your complete disfigurement. So she spoke in a low voice to avoid others from hearing.
"Hello?"
''Kindly, could you accept my video call?'' a familiar voice answered on the other end of the line.
She froze. That was the last thing she expected to hear. It was you, asking for a video call? How? This was not supposed to happen. She quickly looked over her shoulder, making sure Homelander was still occupied and out of earshot.
''Did the cat got your tongue? Turn on that goddamn phone camera.''
She turned away again, her mind racing. She had no idea how to handle this situation. She had been so sure that the plan would be a success, that you would be disfigured and taken out of your position as a favorite.
This wasn't part of the plan. Now you're playing by your rules.
She reluctantly pressed the video call button, turning on the camera to reveal her worried face. Your face appeared on the screen, a small smirk gracing your bloody red lips. You looked exhausted, your face a bit bruised, with a small cut on your cheek. Your uniform, stained from head to toe with blood. And behind you, on the ground, the lifeless bodies of the men who had dared to harm you.
''How...?! How the hell are you-''
"Oh, I'm sorry, you thought I'd be sitting quietly, waiting for my face to be carved off?''
Firecracker snap on the other line, realizing she had been outplayed. With anger slowly boiling inside her, she raised her voice. "Don't act so cocky. I still have that compromising video of you." she warned. "One click and your career is over."
''You know, while you left me with your nice masked friends, I had a lot of time to think. At the beginning I was very worried about that video, it would have really created a big scandal for my image...''
''And you should still be worried about it! Indeed, terrified!''
Your laugh echoed through the speakers.
''But then,I came up with a realisation. Maybe he will get angry at first. But Homelander won't take kindly to anyone who threatens me. He'll eliminate anyone who has seen that footage. And If you release it, you'll become public enemy number one."
Firecracker's heart sank as she realized the truth in your words. Homelander's protective nature towards you was a well-known fact. Anyone who had seen that footage, especially someone within the Seven, would quickly be targeted.
"You... you wouldn't dare. I'll deny everything." she stuttered, her confident facade starting to crumble.
A wicked gleam appeared in your eyes as you smirked again.
"Oh, I would. And Homelander will believe me over you any day. He'll tear you apart If you try anything. So I suggest you delete that footage, love. Because If it ever sees the light of day, you won't be able to save your pretty little face."
Firecracker's hands trembled as she gripped her phone tighter. Your words rang through her mind, each one cutting deeper than the last.
You started walking outside the building, still holding the camera, your voice calm. "And by the way, I found the phone of one of your mercenaries. And guess what I found there? Evidence of your little plan to ruin me. Messages between you and them, planning every detail. If you're still in doubt of what to do next, know that have all the proof I need to expose you."
Her blood ran cold as she watching you in horror. You had evidence, solid evidence, of her plan to ruin you. She could feel the walls closing in around her. She became ridicoulous.
"Wait! L-listen, we...we can talk about this! You're alright! You're fine, you're the mighty Ophera! Mine was j-just...a prank. Sure, a prank! You were never really in danger"
It was a desperate, last attempt to save her own skin.
And you are a merciful goddess, right?
''Mmh. An interesting way to spin things. A prank involving hired mercs, secret planning, blackmail attempts, and the risk of disfigurement. Just a little prank, right?"
"I…I…y-yes. A sick, twisted, and stupid prank. I never meant for it to go that far, really. Just a way to get back at you for…being so perfect all the time. I envy...I envy you, you know!''
Your eyes rolled at her attempts to rationalize her actions. She was really going all in, trying to save herself with excuses and half truths. You could practically see the desperation on her face even through the video call.
With a single wave of your bloody hand, you tell her to stay silent. And she stop with her rambling, confused.
You leaned closer to the phone, a lovely grin on your face. "Just a friendly reminder, Homelander can hear pretty well thanks to his powers. He might be listening to this conversation right now."
She had been so focused on her own survival that she had completely forgotten about Homelander's incredible sense of hearing. The thought that he might be listening in on this conversation sent a chill down her spine.
From her reaction you can guess that they're in that same room, maybe with Ashley and all the other super waiting for any news about you.
''Now, be a good girl and go to Homelander.''
"You…you can't…please, I-" she pleaded in a small desperate voice.
''And give him the phone, now.''
She slowly started walking towards Homelander and the others, the phone in her hands, hardly mantaining a smile on her face. ''Uhm- H-Homelander...I've some good news!''
''Spit it out, what's going on?" raised an eyebrow, dead serious.
"Uhm- I-it's for you." she held the phone out to him
The moment Homelander laid eyes on the phone, his emotions were a mixture of relief and anger. He quickly snatched the phone from Firecracker's trembling hand.
"Ophera?! Where the hell are you?!" he repeated, his voice echoing the frustration he was feeling.
"Hey, love. Sorry to worry you. I'm safe and well, just had a little unexpected adventure."
He clenched the phone tightly, his fingers leaving cracks on the device. "Damn it, woman. You had me worried sick. What the hell happened? Where are you? And are you covered in blood? Is that yours?!"
You felt a tingle of satisfaction as you heard the edge of worry in his voice. You can barely imagine Firecracker's defeated face at that moment.
''Don't worry, isn't mine. You know, the usual, anti-super criminals. I got my ass kidnapped, but don't worry, I took care of it. The morons have no idea what kind of trouble they stepped into."
"Why didn't you call me sooner? I could have come and rescued your ass.''
''I am an independent and strong woman. I never ask anyone for help.'' you smiled confident and charming on the screen.
Homelander couldn't help but smirk at your response. Despite his concern, he knew that you were more than capable of taking care of yourself. "Damn straight you are. Now. I'm coming to get you. I need to know everything about this absurd situation of yours.''
''Sure love, I've a lot of things to tell you. Like a good and all blooody bedtime story.''
Firecracker stood nearby, watching the exchange between Homelander and you on the phone. Her heart was in her throat as she listened to your conversation.
Her eyes widened as you continued to talk with him, your confident and charismatic persona shining through even in your bruised and battered state. She couldn't believe how calmly you were handling the situation, while she was the one who had orchestrated the whole disastrous plan.
''I'm at the old abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. You know, the one with the graffiti and the broken windows?"
"I'll be there in three minutes, don't move."
Admiration for you filled her, and jealousy as well as she observed Homelander's reaction to your words. The concern in his voice, the protectiveness he still had over you, it was all too evident.
As you hung up the phone, Firecracker couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. You were unfortunately safe, and he was on his way to get you back to the Tower. But she also knew that her actions had consequences. She had crossed a line, and there was no going back.
You ended the call, a satisfied smirk playing on your lips. You had turned the tables on your rival, and now she was the one who was in trouble.
"Well, well, well. Looks like someone's in quite a pickle." you said, your voice dripping with sarcasm. "I suggest you start thinking about your next move, Firecracker. Because whatever it is, I'm one step ahead of you."
The future was uncertain, but one thing was clear: the dynamic within The Seven had been irrevocably changed.

You knew it was a long shot trying to convince Jack to come with you to Pitt-Fest.
Crowds were never his thing, not even before his time as an Army medic. Too loud, too many moving parts, too unpredictable. Add a decade of trauma medicine on top of that, and the thought of shoulder-to-shoulder festival traffic was enough to make him visibly tense. You didn’t blame him — not even a little.
And as much as you loved your husband, you weren’t going to fight him on this one.
“Go have fun,” he’d told you that morning, standing in the doorway in his usual worn t-shirt and sweats, a coffee mug in one hand and the other wrapped around your waist. “Text me when you get there. And text me again when you leave. And maybe don’t lose your phone this time?”
You’d rolled your eyes, kissed him once, then twice — and promised to behave.
Truly, it was better for him to spend his one of his days off actually resting, not galavanting around the venue with you and your friends, half-drunk on overpriced cider and yelling about pierogi trucks.
So you let yourself enjoy it. The chaos, the music, the warm breeze coming off the river. You danced with your friends in the middle of the concert to some college band playing covers too fast. You tasted six different kinds of barbecue and took a picture with a guy dressed like a giant bottle of Heinz ketchup. And every couple hours, your phone buzzed with a little check-in from Jack — usually short, always a little dry since he wasn’t a big texter.
JACKY [1:14 PM] You hydrated today or just vibes?
JACKY [3:06 PM] Hope the pierogi truck is worth the foot traffic.
JACKY [4:11 PM] Home if you need me.
You were smiling at that last one about to respond around 5pm, standing in line for boozy lemon slushies with Emma and a few others, when it happened.
At first, it was just a sound — one that didn’t register immediately. A sharp crack in the distance. Then another. Then screaming.
The crowd surged before your brain caught up. Someone dropped their drink. Someone else shoved you sideways. Your phone slipped out of your hand and hit the pavement.
“Is that—” Emma started to say, eyes wide.
You grabbed her wrist and pulled. “Run.”
You didn’t know where the shots had come from. You didn’t stop to look. You just moved — through the panicked chaos, toward the edge of the crowd, ducking behind a food truck with a group of strangers just as another round cracked the air like lightning.
Your chest was tight. Ears ringing. People were yelling. Crying. Calling for help. And your phone—your phone was still on the street.
Jack.
You couldn’t call him.
But he’d know. You didn’t know how, you just knew.
And however a mile away, as police scanners lit up and trauma alerts pinged on hospital radios, Jack was already on his feet — keys in hand, work boots half tied—and heart racing faster than he’d felt since he returned to US soil.
He didn’t wait for a callback. Didn’t care that he wasn’t on the schedule. He grabbed his badge and his trauma bag and was in the truck before the next dispatcher finished her second sentence.
Because something had happened at Pitt-Fest.
And you were there.
It really sounded like a firecracker at first — maybe someone messing around near the alley that ran behind the Pitt-Fest booths. But then came the second, then the third. Screaming followed.
You turned your head just in time to see another wave of people running. And then—
“EMMA!!”
She was beside you one second, and the next, she was down.
You didn’t think. You couldn’t think. You just dropped to your knees, catching her head before it hit the pavement, your mind going a mile a minute.
“Hey, hey—Em—look at me,” you said, your voice louder than you realized. “Where were you hit?”
Her mouth opened, but no sound came out. Her hands were pressed to her stomach, blood already soaking through her shirt and fingers.
“Fuck,” you hissed. “Okay. Okay, pressure. Emmy, stay with me. You’re gonna be okay.”
You barely noticed the searing pain until your legs buckled and you were on your side. A sharp, ripping sensation tore through your ribs like glass.
Shot.
You had been shot too.
Someone was shouting. A vendor nearby had flipped a table and was screaming for people to duck. A stranger—a kid, maybe barely twenty not much younger than you—ran toward you both through the chaos, eyes wide.
“Are you hurt? I have a truck—”
“Help us—please!” you said, trying to sit up, trying not to black out. “I’m a doctor—ER. Trauma. She needs a hospital now.”
He nodded, panicked, glancing at the blood now pooling on the concrete. “We’re like five blocks from PTMC—I’ll drive!”
You helped haul Emma up with shaking arms, biting back a cry when your chest screamed in protest. She groaned as you dragged her toward the curb, her weight nearly toppling you.
The kid had his pickup pulled up half on the sidewalk within seconds.
“Put her in the bed!” you ordered. “It’ll be faster to lift her in!”
Someone else joined—another panicked bystande —helping you hoist Emma into the truck bed as gently and as quickly as possible. You climbed in after her, teeth gritted, your once cute outfit sticky with blood.
“Go!” you screamed as the tailgate slammed shut behind you.
The engine roared and the truck peeled off, tires screeching. You barely held on, your legs braced against the wheel well, one arm clamped across Emma’s wound, the other pressing against your own side to slow the bleeding.
“You’re okay,” you told her, voice tight, even though you weren’t sure who you were trying to convince. “Emma, you’re gonna make it. You’re not fucking dying at Pitt-Fest! I won’t let you.”
Her eyes fluttered, and you cursed under your breath, checking her pulse.
Thready. Too fast.
You knew you had minutes. Maybe less.
And somewhere in the back of your mind, you knew Jack was at the Pitt. On shift or not, he was always there when it mattered.
He had no idea you were on your way. Or that you were bleeding out in the back of a stranger’s truck, racing through downtown Pittsburgh.
But if you made it… if you could just hold on a little longer…
You’d see him again.
The truck rattled like it was going to fall apart with every pothole it hit on Carson Street. The shocks weren’t built for this kind of weight or speed, and the stranger behind the wheel didn’t care. He’d barely said a word since he’d skidded to a stop at the edge of the chaos. Now, you could barely hold your head up.
Emma was curled in on herself across from you, clutching the side of the truck bed like it was the only thing keeping her tethered to earth. Her glitter jacket was soaked through—Msot of it hers, some of it not—and her ponytail had come loose, curls hanging limp against her face.
You turned your head toward her, everything in you aching.
“Em,” you rasped.
She didn’t answer.
“Emma, look at me.”
She did, finally. Her lip was split, her eyes glassy. She was holding her side with one hand, the other shaking where it pressed against her stomach. Blood oozed through her fingers.
“Hurts,” she whispered.
“I know.” You reached out, hand slick and trembling. You were starting to feel lightheaded, the pain in your side sharp and spreading, warm and wet and endless. “You’re okay. You’re gonna be okay. We’re almost there.”
She nodded—but then her gaze dropped to your side, and her eyes widened. “Babe… you're—”
“Don’t look at me.” Your voice cracked, barely above a whisper. “Just breathe, Em. You’re okay. I’ve got you.”
You weren’t sure if that was true. The blood loss was getting worse. Your top was drenched. The bullet had torn low, near your hip, and every bump in the road sent fresh agony lancing through your whole body. You tried to apply pressure but your arm wouldn’t stop shaking.
The guy driving honked again, swerving around a city bus. Ahead, PTMC’s trauma bay came into view, the red trauma flags flapping against the gray building. Almost there. Almost safe.
Then Emma made a sound that shattered you.
It was small. Wet. A choking breath followed by nothing.
You lurched forward, dragging yourself toward her with everything you had left.
“Emma—Emmy. Stay awake. Look at me.”
Her head lolled. Her eyes were still open, just barely. “I’m really cold,” she whispered.
“No, baby. No, you’re not.” You gathered her into your lap, tried to shield her with what strength you had left. “We’re here. You’re okay.”
The truck hit the curb at full speed, rocking the bed. The brakes screamed as it slid sideways, stopping half a second before it would’ve crashed into the wall of the trauma bay. And then hands—at least half a dozen of them—were yanking open the tailgate.
Chaos.
“Two critical GSWs in the back—Jesus, they’re both going out!”
“She’s losing consciousness!”
“Someone help me get her—”
“She’s coding!”
You heard all of it like you were underwater. You were vaguely aware of someone pulling Emma from your limp arms. Someone else catching you as your head dropped back, limp, blood seeping down your spine.
A nurse’s voice rang out as she tried to open your airway.
“Who is she—anyone got a name?!”
No one answered.
Inside the trauma bay, Jack was elbow-deep in yet another chest wound, barking orders, adrenaline humming through his veins. He didn’t hear the commotion at the ambulance bay over the noise of suction and a flatline monitor. Didn’t look up when the bay doors slammed open again.
Didn’t know.
Didn’t know that somewhere down the hall, two trauma rooms were opening side by side—one for your best friend who wouldn’t make it, and one for you, his wife, who just might.
Not yet.
But he would.
He always did.
Now rushing inside to the hub, “Her BP’s eighty systolic and dropping—she’s hemorrhaging fast.”
“Pulse is thready. Pupils sluggish.”
“Get Dr. Robby in here, now!”
The trauma bay was already spinning into motion when Michael stepped through the sliding doors, hand dragging down over his messy brown hair. He was halfway into his new trauma gown as he crossed the room.
“What’ve we got?”
“GSW to the lower abdomen. Entry left, possible exit—can’t tell through the bleeding. She was brought in non-EMS, unknown downtime.”
Robinavitch’s eyes tracked the chaos instantly, sharp and assessing. He reached the foot of the bed and froze just long enough to squint at your face beneath the mask of blood, dirt, and bruises. Something flickered across his expression.
“…Is that—?”
“Yeah,” one of the nurses whispered. “That’s our second Abbot.”
He didn’t react. Not outwardly. Just snapped his gloves tighter and stepped in, voice calm but commanding.
“Alright. Let’s move. I need two large-bore IVs, type and cross, four units O-neg hanging yesterday, and someone page trauma surgery—now.”
A nurse slid a face shield over his head as he pulled the curtain closed behind him.
“Pressure dressing’s soaked through.”
“She’s crashing, Dr. Robby.”
Michael leaned in over your body, catching the faintest movement of your chest. He knew your voice, your laugh, the way you snapped off one-liners at Jack and him in the hall. And right now, none of that mattered. You were just another patient bleeding out on his table. And he was going to keep you alive.
“Hang another liter. Let’s get a FAST scan going—we need to find that bleed.”
A tech slid gel across your abdomen. The screen flared to life, the grainy black-and-white image revealing what they were dreading.
“She’s bleeding into her abdomen,” someone said.
“No kidding,” Robby muttered. Then louder: “Alright. We don’t have time. Prep her straight for the OR. I want her there five minutes ago.”
He pressed down on the wound with both hands, hard. Princess to his left winced.
“She should seee Jack,” she whispered.
“No,” he said firmly. “Jack needs her to still be breathing when he finds out.”
He looked down at you, your face pale and growing colder beneath his fingers.
“You hang on,” he said under his breath. “You do not die on me. He will never recover.”
You didn’t respond. Your eyes fluttered once, lips barely parted. A sound escaped, too soft to decipher as Mikey leaned closer.
Not as a doctor now, but as a close friend.
“What was that?”
Your mouth twitched. “Tell… Jack…”
But then your body jolted under his hands—heart monitor screaming into v-fib.
“Code!” someone shouted.
“Start compressions!” Robinavitch was already moving, calling for paddles. “One of you get Abbot!”
“But he’s still in Pink—”
“I don’t care if he’s in surgery or nott,” he snapped. “Tell him it’s his wife. Tell him she’s coding.”
Across the hospital floor, Jack looked up—something in his chest going cold before he even knew why.
The Pink Zone was chaos, and Red was a shit show.
Jack had blood smeared to his elbows and the kind of tension in his jaw that only came from running full tilt on no sleep. His short, curls—streaked at the temples with silver—were plastered to his forehead with sweat. His hazel eyes, usually sharp and quick, were laser-focused on the wound in front of him.
“Clamp—now,” he barked, voice low and lethal.
The security guard on the table had been fine for the minute, eventually turning critical. Shrapnel to the chest. He’d already coded once in triage. Jack had cracked him open right there on the gurney, and there was no room in his world for anything else.
Until—
“Dr. Abbot!”
He didn’t look up. “Hold pressure!.”
“Jack!”
That voice. Too familiar.
He finally looked.
One of the new night shift interns stood just inside the trauma bay doors, Jacob’s own scrubs stained and his expression wrecked. And he never looked wrecked.
Jack straightened, adrenaline still coursing, brow furrowed. “What?”
Jacob’s mouth opened—but nothing came out at first. He took a breath. Another. Then:
“She’s here. Your wife.”
The words didn’t land right at first. Jack blinked, frowning, like he hadn’t heard correctly.
“She what?”
“Gunshot wound to the abdomen. Came in the fourth or fifth wave from Pitt-Fest,” the young man said, voice tight. “They stabilized her. She was hypotensive on arrival. Tachy. Someone named Emma was with her—they were in the back of a civilian truck.”
The name Emma barely registered.
Jack’s pulse went sideways.
“She coded once—Robby sent her to the OR.”
“No,” Jack said, too fast, shaking his head. “No, she wasn’t even—she said she’d text me when—she wasn’t—”
The air felt thick. Too heavy. Too loud. His fingers curled into fists, shaking beneath his gloves.
“Dr. Abbot,” Someone said, stepping closer. “She’s still alive. They got her back. But you can’t leave right now. We need you here.”
Jack didn’t move.
“She asked for you,” Jacobs added quietly.
That broke something open.
Jack’s hazel eyes—usually unreadable—flashed wide. For half a second, pure panic. He turned, looking toward the hall that led to the elevators, toward OR.
But he couldn’t go. He knew it. The man on the table in front of him was dying.
And his wife… his wife was being cut open upstairs.
He squeezed his eyes shut once, breathing like it physically hurt. When he opened them, they were steely again. Grounded by sheer force of will.
“Tell Robinavitch to get me when she’s out,” Jack said. His voice was barely steady. “And tell him if she crashes again—he calls me. Immediately.”
“I will,” Jacob promised.
Jack didn’t answer. He just turned back to his patient like his spine was made of iron. Like his heart wasn’t bleeding under his ribs.
But his hands trembled—just once—before they found the scalpel again.
And he didn’t say another word about it, because what was there to say you could be gone before he even got to see you.
Eventually the world returned in fragments.
A slow, stuttering beep. The soft rustle of hospital sheets. The sterile hum of fluorescent lighting. Everything hurt—but not sharply. Not like it had. Now it was dull and heavy, like your body was made of stone, barely yours.
You blinked against the overhead light. It took effort. Your limbs felt like they were filled with sand.
A shape moved beside you.
Jack.
He was hunched forward in the chair, elbows braced on his knees, hands clasped tight. His short, silvery curls were flattened on one side, sticking up in the back like he hadn’t moved in hours. His hazel eyes were fixed on the floor, red-rimmed, dark and distant.
Your heart monitor ticked just a little faster. He looked up immediately.
“Hey,” he breathed, already at your side.
You tried to smile, but your lips barely moved. “Hi.”
Jack let out a sound halfway between a laugh and a sob and reached for your hand. His touch was careful, reverent. “You scared the absolute hell out of me.”
“Me too,” you rasped.
He gave you a sip of water, helping steady the cup as you drank. When you pulled back, your throat still felt raw—but the words came anyway.
“Emma?”
Jack’s face changed.
The crack in his expression wasn’t obvious, but you’d seen it before—on the battlefiel, in different red zone code blues, in the quiet moments after a loss. He didn’t answer right away.
You already knew.
“…She didn’t make it,” he said softly. “They couldn’t even try. She was gone in the truck.”
Your breath hitched.
“She was getting married,” you whispered, tears already brimming. “She was twenty-eight, Jack...”
“I know.”
“She was going to try out for th-that promotion. She just bought her wedding dress last week—she wanted to show you, and—and she was finally gonna ask David to move in with—”
Jack didn’t try to stop your rambling grief. He just leaned in closer, resting his forehead against yours.
“I know,” he said again, voice thick. “I’m so sorry.”
You swallowed hard, your throat burning. “She died in my arms...”
His hand tightened around yours.
“I didn’t know it was you,” he murmured, guilt and grief bleeding into his voice. “I was a couple zones over. We were shoulder to shoulder with victims. I didn’t know until after they took you up to surge.”
You blinked fast. “Were you there when I came in?”
“Robby got you stable. Barely. Everyone just said it was bad. Said one of ours went down.” His voice caught.
“Jack.”
“I couldn’t go up,” he whispered. “They were still bringing bodies in. And you were already in surgery. I had to keep working.”
Your vision blurred again.
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be, you’re the one that got shot.” His hazel eyes were fierce now, even through the exhaustion. “You did everything you could. You kept Emma safe as long as you could. And you lived. That’s all that matters right now.”
You didn’t feel like it should be enough. Not with her gone, and the fate of the rest of your friends unknown. But the way Jack looked at you—like the entire world had stopped spinning until your heart started beating again—it made the pain settle differently.
He reached up and brushed your hair back, his touch gentle. “I’ve got you now. You’re safe.”
Since the first shots rang out at Pitt-Fest, you let yourself feel the weight of everything that had happened.
Your fingers twitched under his, slow and aching, but deliberate. Jack noticed immediately, shifting to cradle your hand in both of his, as if he could anchor you there by touch alone.
“I love you,” you whispered, your voice shaky but sure. “Thank you for staying with me…”
Jack’s eyes closed, lashes trembling. His head bowed as his grip on your hand tightened, pulling it gently to his chest.
“I’d stay a thousand times,” he murmured. “I’d go through hell a thousand times if it meant getting you back.”
Your heart thudded painfully in your chest—because you believed him. There was no part of Jack Abbot that ever did anything halfway, least of all when it came to you.
“I thought I was going to die,” you whispered, barely able to get the words out. “In that truck. I-I knew Emma was gone and—I couldn’t feel my legs. Everything hurt. I didn’t know if you’d even know…”
Jack leaned forward again, resting his forehead against your hands, breathing you in like he was trying to convince himself you were real. “I know now,” he said, voice rough. “And I’ve got you.”
You could feel the warmth of his breath on your cheek, the way his body trembled just slightly with the force of holding himself together.
“I kept thinking—‘he’s gonna be mad,’” you whispered. “Because I went without you. Because I didn’t duck fast enough. Because I let one of the girls get hit.”
“Stop,” he said, voice firm but thick with emotion. “You don’t need to carry that. Not even for a second.”
You nodded faintly, tears sliding into your hair. “She died, Jack. Emma died. And I couldn’t save her.”
He stayed quiet for a beat, then moved to press a kiss to your forehead, lingering there, like he could pour every unspoken word straight into your skin.
“I know,” he whispered. “And I’ll carry that with you. Every single day.” The monitors continued their slow, steady rhythm. Jack stayed at your bedside like he’d never leave it again.
Outside, the world kept spinning—grief, news headlines, recovery, chaos—but inside that quiet room, wrapped in his presence, you finally let yourself rest. Because you weren’t alone. Not anymore.
And you knew, in the deepest part of yourself, that Jack would keep holding on enough for the both of you—because that’s the type of man he was.

I saw you were looking for The Boys requests. Please I beg of you ANYTHING between Firecracker and reader. She’s so beautiful and I need to be with her so bad! Literally anything you want to write. It’s just that NO ONE has written for her!!
♱ — country girl — ♱

A/N: Thank you for ur request, I also agree, nobody is writing about Firecracker, our country girl needs some love <3.
WARNING: cursing, tw: abortion, firecracker as a person, tw: tek knight, this might be crackfic sorry.
PAIRING: firecracker x reader
WORD COUNTER: 974
It was so boring at the Tek's Knight party, you were mindlessly taking glasses of alcohol served on a platter to guests that attended, mostly the room filled with important, rich, people of America.
Like you want to be here with these superficial assholes and fucking racists, you had better thing than to be here in this party but you were forced to attend. Most of the members of the seven were here, including you. Here you are, in a party filled with old people who controlled the country, you looked up at the seemingly staring Tek Knight portrait that was on display, "Creepy" You muttered, before you gulped down the content in the glass, swiftly placing it on the waltzing waiter passing by.
It was going to be a while till you were able to leave the party. It was an event where people were the best dressed and for you, the best dress was your costume, shut up and stay still while people talked to you, talking about nonsense and political matters you didn't care about.
You just nodded with a smile.
Tap your fingers on your glasses, looking for anything that can occupy your time. It wasn't the worst, free high-quality alcohol was being served, and interesting-looking food was being served around the party. You looked around the room of guests, and your eyes quickly landed on Homelander, Sage, and Neuman. You quirked your eyebrows at the scene, before taking a sip of the champagne in your glass.
"Hm," You exhaled, swirling the liquid in your glass. The sound of heels clicking on the floor took your attention. You looked up from your cup to see Firecracker walking by you, you didn't get to know a lot about her only to know that she was involved in pageants, hate Starfire maybe a pedophile. You kept your eye on her with amusement as she walked toward the group of supes.
You were way too curious about how the interaction was going to play out, especially with her introduction, it was almost comical.
Everyone in the group just stared at her awkwardly, it was all truly funny and made you laugh a bit. Then Sage dismissed her straight, I guessed it was something snarky towards her. You watched her as walked away quickly, it looked like she was upset about what Sage said. "Trailer trash, huh?" You gulped down your maybe 10th glass of the night and placed it on the walking waiter's tray before you strode to the dessert table.
You recognize the greeting butler of the house taking the cake. “Hey, are you going to take that?" You asked the butler holding the chocolate cake in his hand. "Yes, Miss H/N" He stated, “Would you like a slice?” He questioned, “No, actually I’ll take the whole cake” You shot him a smile, grabbing the cake from him. “Thanks for being such an American patriot” you exclaimed before you walked out to follow Firecracker.
You stepped out of the room where the party guests were. You followed Firecracker, you wanted to keep your steps as silent as possible maybe to surprise her a bit, maybe this was a bit creepy, a little at least. You hid behind one of the white columns, hearing the door behind her close with a 'click' sound.
You stepped out into the hallway, with the cake in hand. You paused for a moment when you reached the door. Before putting your ear near the door to hear sniffing coming from her you backed away. You hesitated to knock, so you just waited on the side of the door until she opened up.
Propping yourself up on the wall, it was a couple of minutes until she opened the door. It was evident she was crying with her tear-stained cheek and the reddening of her irises. Bounced off the wall, "God were you crying, you look like shit" You said bluntly, her brows furrowed when she heard the comment escaping you.
"Shit, my bad, cake?" You prominently offered the cake to her, she looked at it and then at you, "Is this a joke?" She said with her strong accent shining through as she spoke.
Narrowed her eyes at you.
"No, actually this was from the good of my heart, I saw the exchange between you and you know sage?' You said you heard her groan as you talked.
"So, are you going to tell me to drink Everclear or SunnyD" She exclaimed.
"Of course not, I was going to tell you to drink some Dr. Pepper and Jack Daniel" You grin at her smugly,
She furrowed her brows more, you got her pissed, "Jokes" You put up your free hand defensively, "But seriously, I saw you upset and what better way to calm down than with cake, especially chocolate cake" You grinned pointing at the chocolate cake in your hands.
"What in god green earth would make you think I would eat cake with you" She crossed her arms, "Geez if you put it that way...I just wanted to support a friend in need, since you are part of the seven, you know..so cake?" You offered her again before she looked at you and the cake.
"Fine"
..
"You know Sage is like a slithering snake, I just should known" Firecracker grumbled, taking a spoonful of cake and shoving it in her mouth, you hummed in agreement.
"The whole thing with the show and live cast with the starlight bullshit, should of fucking know" Firecracker finished,
"How did you...I mean she even gets information about Starlight abortion?" You asked, stabbing your fork in a piece of cake, Firecracker just shrugged it off, "I mean you took those punches like a champ" You said bluntly, Firecracker glared at you.
"Hey Y/N" You turned towards her,
"What?"
"Fuck you"

sage who keeps you under the conference table. after being elevated as CEO, especially by homelander himself, no one questions her. constant, daily interactions with her yes-men irk her infinitely—so she brings something interesting into the meetings. you.
she’d smuggled you in before she was even in the seven, touting you as an assistant to slip you under homelander’s loath gaze. now, you’re established. unquestioned, almost to her degree of superiority. you want the most secret of records, hidden in dusty basements? they’re yours. claim you need a few or many workers, allocating them based on her orders? everyone moves as if puppeteered. stroll into a very important conference meeting and sink, tucking yourself under the wooden table and prying her thighs apart? no one bats a fucking eye.
your tongue is somehow your greatest skill, even compared to the Navy-esque way you run Vought. it curls sweetly up the crease of her thigh, drawing a contented breath from her. it’s not as if she has to listen to their discussions—they’re just running in agreeable circles, knowing her word is law. she’s free to fist her hand in your hair, tug you and tuck your sweet mouth against her.
she’s not the type to be caught off guard. you don’t shock her, per se—not anymore. you just break her mind like a needle to the brain. who needs a lobotomy when she can have your mouth suckling her clit? the feeling always curls pleasantly at the base of her spine, making these meetings a bit more bearable. the executives know exactly what’s expected of them—and who are they to question her?
firecracker keeps you under during her live broadcasts. she just can’t help it. she’s always interrupted by her rigid schedule when all she wants is your mouth. she pouts and begs until you acquiesce, and she preens like a peacock, thinking herself strong.
that is, until your tongue curls up, broadly stroking between pinkened, already-twitching folds.
her hips twitch, her fingers clenching—her smile strains, a gentle noise escaping before she continues. barely noticeable, surely. yet, you’re a little devil, smirking against her, and she knows she’s fucked up this time.
when your teeth nip, she whimpers briefly in the middle of a word—but continues on. another nip comes as the sound echoes.
oh. you’ve done this before. she’s supposed to be quiet, because you know that’s what she’s worst at.
she tries and tries to continue as normal, even as your wily tongue works wonders over her. halfway through her script, only a few little errors having occurs, she actually decides to have hope. bad idea.
the nudge of your fingers—the delve of them, two thick, makes her exhale into her microphone. attempting to continue proves futile as your fingers curl cruelly, and suddenly she’s twitching and shaking on live tv.
very unsure writing smut. very very inexperienced with this but i had to pull through for my gf my wife my fav (sage) and for anon who is surely feeling the effects of the drought as i am

Bottom of the Bottle (Soldier Boy)
Summary: You trusted Soldier Boy. Ran missions with him. Slept next to him in cold bunkers. Loved him in the way people like you didn’t dare admit. But then he left you behind. And now, face to face for the first time since that day, you're ready for answers. But what happens down the line when you're recoverd from the heartbreak and forced to join him on missions yet again?
Warnings: betrayal, angst, heartbreak, lonliness
WC: 2.5K
A/N: prompt came from this long list of mine! title used from my Title Challenge here
Read on ao3!
--
The room was dim, thick with smoke and the hum of fluorescent lights that hadn’t been changed in decades. Your heart thudded like gunfire in your chest, but your hand was steady on the trigger. Soldier Boy stood across from you, blood smeared across his jaw, knuckles bruised, but none of that compared to the look in his eyes.
Like you’d gutted him.
“Do it,” he said, voice gravel and ice. “If you’re gonna shoot me, sweetheart, make it count.”
You didn’t lower the gun. “You left me to die.”
His jaw tightened. “You think I don’t know that?”
“I watched you walk away!” Your voice cracked as rage flared, sharp as shrapnel. “You made the call. You could’ve pulled me out—”
“There wasn’t time!”
“You had seconds, Ben—”
“Exactly!” he snapped, voice booming like a damn grenade. “I had seconds to choose between you and the whole damn team getting wiped. So yeah, I left you.” He stepped closer, eyes wild and furious. “And you know what? I’d do it again.”
You felt like you’d been punched in the chest. The gun dipped slightly.
He shoved a hand through his hair, pacing like a caged animal. “You think I wanted to leave you there? You think I haven’t seen your face every goddamn night since?”
“Don’t you dare act like you’re the victim—”
“I’m not. But don’t act like I betrayed you.” He stopped in front of you, voice low and burning. “I didn’t betray you—I saved you. If I hadn’t done it, we’d both be dead.”
Your lip trembled. “You call that saving me? I was captured. Tortured. Spent months clawing my way out of that hellhole.”
“And I spent months thinking you were dead,” he said, breath ragged. “I went back. Hours later, when the smoke cleared. There was nothing but ash and blood. I buried what was left thinking it was you.”
Silence fell like a weight.
You stared at him, the anger still there but dimmed, tangled now with something raw. Something that hurt worse than betrayal.
“You didn’t even check if I was alive.”
He reached out—hesitated—then pulled his hand back like it’d been burned. “I never stopped looking. I swear to God, if I’d known you made it out…”
Tears blurred your vision. “What happens now?”
He looked like he’d been hollowed out. “That’s up to you. But I didn’t come back to fight. I came back because I never got to tell you…” He faltered, chest rising and falling. “You weren’t just another mission. Not to me.”
You lowered the gun.
But you weren’t ready to forgive him. Not yet.
Maybe not ever.
--
You hadn’t said a word in two hours.
Not since you and Soldier Boy climbed into the back of the armored SUV, the mission file dropped between you like a landmine.
He hadn’t tried to talk either—not really. Just sat with his arms crossed, looking out the window, jaw tight enough to crack. Occasionally, his eyes would flick your way. Like he couldn’t help himself.
You pretended not to notice.
The mission was a simple infiltration: an ex-Vought scientist holed up in an abandoned outpost with a dirty bomb and delusions of grandeur. You and Soldier Boy were the only two assets with enough clearance—and firepower—to get close.
But the real powder keg was between the two of you.
“You remember Kamarov?” Soldier Boy said finally, voice rough.
You didn’t look up from the file. “The guy with the cybernetic eye and a superiority complex?”
“Yeah. He’s running security for the target now.”
That made you pause. “You didn’t think to lead with that?”
“I figured you’d read the damn file.”
You glared at him. “Maybe I would’ve, if you didn’t keep breathing down my neck.”
His lip curled. “Didn’t realize I had to stop breathing to make you comfortable.”
“Oh, please. Don’t act like we’re partners. I’m only here because the mission comes first.”
“Right,” he said, leaning back with a bitter laugh. “God forbid you do anything for me.”
You slammed the file shut. “You don’t get to pull that card, Ben. Not after what you did.”
He leaned forward, hands braced on his knees, eyes locked on yours like a battlefield. “I already told you—I did what I had to do.”
“And I lived with it,” you snapped. “Alone.”
Something flickered behind his eyes—regret, maybe. Or guilt he hadn’t buried deep enough.
Before either of you could say more, the SUV lurched to a stop.
Driver’s voice crackled through the intercom. “We’re here. Two klicks out from the compound. You want backup?”
You and Soldier Boy locked eyes.
“No,” you said.
“I got this,” he said at the same time.
A beat of silence.
You rolled your eyes. “We’ll handle it.”
The back doors swung open, cold wind rushing in. You stepped out first, pulse steady, fingers twitching near your weapon. Soldier Boy followed, close enough you could feel his heat at your back.
“Try not to get captured this time,” he muttered.
“Try not to leave me behind again,” you shot back.
He gave you a look that could peel paint.
But despite the venom, your bodies moved in sync as you approached the compound—muscle memory from years of working side by side. Covering corners. Watching each other’s six. Like your bones hadn’t forgotten even if your heart tried to.
The moment the bullets started flying, something shifted. You caught his glance across the field, nodded once, and you were on. Two forces of destruction, unstoppable and precise. The kind of dance only people who’d once trusted each other with their lives could pull off.
At one point, a grenade hit too close. You hit the ground, ears ringing.
Soldier Boy was there in a heartbeat, shielding you with his body, barking your name over the ringing.
When the dust cleared, your hands were fisted in his vest, your breath catching.
“You okay?” he asked, voice rasped, eyes scanning you like he could memorize every wound.
You hated how you nodded.
You hated how his relief softened his face.
But most of all, you hated the way your heart still leapt like it remembered something your mind swore it wouldn’t forgive.
--
The plan was simple. Get in, neutralize the target, extract.
But plans had a nasty habit of falling apart around Soldier Boy.
“MOVE!” he barked, grabbing your arm as gunfire ripped through the air.
You didn’t argue. You both sprinted through the trees, adrenaline roaring in your ears, blood slick on your side where shrapnel had torn through your jacket.
You didn’t know how far you ran—just that eventually, the cold bit harder than the pain, and Soldier Boy jerked you into the half-collapsed remains of a hunting cabin hidden in the trees.
He slammed the door shut behind you, chest heaving. “They’re sweeping the forest. We’ve got maybe five hours before they circle back.”
You leaned against the wall, trying to breathe through the stabbing in your ribs. “You think they saw us?”
He looked at you—really looked—and the color drained from his face. “You’re bleeding.”
“It’s nothing.”
“It’s not nothing.” He was in front of you in a flash, ripping your jacket off like you were made of paper. “You got hit. Jesus, why didn’t you say anything?”
“Because I was busy not dying, thanks,” you snapped, wincing as he peeled the fabric back.
He muttered a curse and pulled out a field kit, cleaning the wound with hands that were far too gentle for a man who could crush skulls without flinching.
The silence was thick as he worked.
“Why are you doing this?” you asked finally.
He didn’t look up. “Because you’re hurt.”
“No.” You swallowed hard. “I mean, why are you here, Ben? Really. After everything.”
He hesitated—just for a second—before taping the gauze down.
“Because I still give a damn about you,” he said gruffly. “Even if you hate my guts.”
You didn’t respond.
You didn’t know how to respond.
Instead, you glanced around the cabin. “No food. No heat. No backup.”
“And one bed,” he said, deadpan.
Your head whipped around. “You’re kidding.”
He pointed to the far corner. A narrow cot, dusty and crooked, barely wide enough for one person.
“Great,” you muttered. “I’ll take the floor.”
“The hell you will,” he growled. “You’re wounded.”
You crossed your arms. “So are you.”
He stepped closer, towering over you, voice low. “We’ll both freeze if we don’t share it. You know that.”
You hated that he was right.
You hated how his closeness made your pulse race.
“I’m not cuddling you,” you snapped.
A ghost of a smirk touched his lips. “Didn’t say you had to.”
It took a long time to settle.
You lay on the edge of the mattress, stiff as a corpse, back to him. The blankets were thin, and the cold crept in like a curse. Behind you, Soldier Boy radiated heat and tension.
Eventually, you shivered hard enough to make the bed creak.
He cursed under his breath and slid an arm around you. “Stop fighting it.”
“I’m not—”
“Just shut up and let me keep you warm.”
You hated how natural it felt. How your body fit against his like no time had passed. Like you weren’t still carrying the scar of his absence.
Minutes passed. Maybe hours.
His breath ghosted against your neck.
“I never stopped looking for you,” he said quietly.
You closed your eyes. “Then why does it still feel like you left?”
Silence.
Then—
“Because I did.”
You turned in his arms, meeting his eyes in the dark. There was no armor in them now. Just regret. And something achingly human.
He cupped your cheek. Rough palm, trembling thumb. “I can’t change what I did. But I’d do anything to fix it.”
You didn’t kiss him.
But God help you—you almost did.
--
The morning brought frost on the windows and gunfire in the distance.
You were already halfway out of bed when Soldier Boy grabbed his shield, scanning the treeline through a crack in the boarded window. “They’re here.”
“Thought we had more time.”
“So did I.”
You both moved like muscle memory—packing what little gear you had, ready to run. But when the first bullet shattered the window, you realized too late: this wasn’t a sweep.
It was a f**king ambush.
Soldier Boy barked your name, tackled you to the ground just as the front wall blew in from a concussion blast. Ears ringing, lungs burning—you scrambled, dragging your weapon toward you, but two men were already inside.
You got one with a clean shot.
The second hit you with the butt of his rifle. Everything spun.
Your fingers twitched, reaching blindly—but someone grabbed you, yanked you to your feet.
“BEN!”
Your scream split through the chaos.
You saw him—the look on his face when they dragged you out. The sheer terror in it. Not rage. Not fury.
Terror.
Like he was watching it happen all over again.
“LET HER GO!”
They stunned him with something—maybe modified gas, maybe sonic tech—long enough to force him to his knees. But he kept coming.
Even on fire.
Even screaming.
Even when it was too late.
--
You woke in a cold metal room.
Your head throbbed. Your wrists were cuffed.
But none of that mattered.
Because you knew he’d come for you.
He had to.
-
Back in the forest, Soldier Boy rose from the wreckage like a damn god of vengeance. The forest burned behind him. His shield dripped blood.
He tore through the enemy camp like a weapon unleashed. No mercy. No second chances. Not this time.
Because the last time he hesitated—
He lost you.
And he would never let it happen again.
By the time he reached your cell, alarms were blaring, walls crumbling. You heard the carnage before you saw him.
Then the door exploded.
And there he stood.
Bloodied. Breathing hard. Eyes locked on you like you were the only thing in the world.
He crossed the room in three steps, ripping the cuffs from your wrists like they were paper. His hands cupped your face, frantic, shaking.
“You okay?” His voice cracked. “Talk to me—are you okay?”
You nodded, throat too tight to speak.
His jaw clenched. His forehead pressed to yours. “I thought I lost you again. I saw them take you and—I swear to God, if I hadn’t gotten here…”
“I knew you’d come,” you whispered.
His hands gripped you harder. “You shouldn’t have to.”
For a moment, all the noise outside faded.
And in the middle of the wreckage, with the fire still burning and the enemy in pieces behind him, he kissed you.
Desperate. Raw. Like he was taking back every second you were gone.
--
The safehouse was silent, save for the wind whining through cracked boards and the slow drip of water from a rusted pipe.
Soldier Boy sat on the edge of the table, shirt off, blood streaked down his side. Burn marks. Lacerations. He’d barely flinched during the fight—but now that the adrenaline was gone, he looked tired. Fractured.
You soaked the cloth in what clean water you could find, fingers trembling. You’d already checked the perimeter twice. Laid every tripwire. Set every trap.
And still, your hands shook as you turned back to him.
“Hold still.”
“I’m not going anywhere,” he muttered, wincing as you pressed the cloth to his ribs.
The silence stretched, heavy. You cleaned each wound with methodical care, refusing to meet his eyes.
“You should be pissed at me,” he said quietly.
You didn’t answer.
“You should hate me.”
“I did,” you said. “For a long time.”
He went still.
You finally looked at him—really looked. Blood on his face. Bruises blooming along his jaw. And that look in his eyes. Like he was scared of what you’d say next.
“But I never stopped loving you.”
The words hung in the air like a live wire.
Soldier Boy blinked like you’d hit him. “What?”
“I loved you, Ben.” Your voice cracked. “Even after you left. Even after I told myself I didn’t.”
He stared at you like he couldn’t breathe.
You stood, taking a shaky step back. “And I hate that you can still make my heart race. That I still look for you first when the bullets start flying. That I waited—hoped—you’d come back.”
His expression twisted. Pain. Regret. Desperation.
“I never stopped loving you either,” he said hoarsely. “I just... didn’t think I deserved to.”
You turned your face away, but he stood, grabbing your wrist—gentle, but firm.
“I made the call back then because I thought it’d save you,” he said. “But losing you nearly killed me. I’ve walked through fire and blood and hell since then, and nothing ever hurt like that.”
You swallowed hard.
“I thought if I could just get you back—just once—I’d fix it.” His voice cracked. “But I don’t know how.”
You stepped forward, placing a hand on his chest, over the wound you’d just cleaned.
“You don’t fix it in one night,” you whispered. “You show up. You stay. You choose me. Again and again.”
He looked at you like you were the only thing keeping him upright.
“I’m here,” he said. “I’m yours, if you’ll still have me.”
And when he leaned in—slowly, hesitantly—you met him halfway.
This kiss wasn’t frantic like the last. It was quiet. Shaky. A surrender. His forehead pressed to yours after, breath ragged.
You held him like you were afraid he’d vanish again.
But this time… he didn’t.

❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ ❚ 𓍢 ONLY U hanni pham x reader

↳ warnings: yn from paparazzi, and many other works under my masterlist, idol au, lesserafim member reader, hanni is jelly, swearing (of course there is its firecracker!yn)
hanni wasn’t a jealous girlfriend.
if anything, yn was the more jealous one between the two. there had been multiple times where hanni had to show up at the lesserafim dorms because yn, being petty after seeing a ship edit, refused to answer her phone all day.
it was honestly pretty funny to watch yn get jealous. the hothead never really showed those type of emotions like that, so whenever hanni got the rare chance to see yn pouting, she savored it.
“you were jealouuusss,” hanni teased, looking at yn, who was sitting on the floor with her nintendo in hand, completely ignoring her. hanni had barged into the lesserafim dorms after yn ghosted her all day..
“fuck off,” yn muttered, eyes glued to her game, while hanni sat down beside her, resting her head on yn’s shoulder. “just wait until the day you get jealous.”
“i don’t get jealous,” hanni replied playfully, earning a nudge that knocked her head off yn’s shoulder.
it was all fun and games between them—at least for hanni. she knew yn didn’t have an insecure bone in her body, so there was nothing to worry about.
and neither did she.
or at least, that’s what she thought.

hanni wasn’t lying when she said she doesn’t get jealous, so the feeling she had in her chest at the moment was very foreign.
she sat beside hyein who had a big ipad in her hand showcasing a live on weverse with yn and eunchae.
she was originally in her room but then she heard a voice that sounded a lot like her girlfriend so she went to investigate only to see a giggling hyein who had her eyes stuck on the screen.
“yn was so nice to me today.” eunchae said to the live smiling brightly at yn who just rolled her eyes.
“shut up.” the girl mumbled squinting her eyes to see the chat since she didn’t have her glasses on her which made hanni shake her head in a scolding way at the screen, she was definitely gonna bother yn about that later.
“she got us matching bracelets!” eunchae exclaimed showing her wrist and picking up bus as well. a chrome hearts bracelet being around both of their wrists, yn was an ambassador for the brand.
yn snatched her wrist from muttering curses under her breath but anybody could tell that she was more flustered than angry which made hanni shift uncomfortably at the sight.
“has yn gotten you a matching jewelry from chrome hearts?” hyein always felt cool just saying yn without unnie ever since yn told her she didn’t have to.
“she has… plenty of times” hanni trailed off watching eunchae wrap her arms around yn who didn’t make any effort to push her off this time, “but not matching.”
“you guys are like kuromi and melody,” eunchae read the comment before turning to yn with a big smile, “are we?”
“no.”
“that means yes guys.” eunchae said interlocking her hand with yn who just ignored the girl keeping her eyes on the chat, but she didn’t argue.
a frown made its way to hanni’s face, her and yn’s relationship obviously wasn’t open to the public but their friendship sure one, and it was an ongoing joke between the two fandoms that yn and her were kuromi and melody.
she watched as this time yn didn’t pull her hand away from eunchae and let the younger girl keep their hands interlocked, a sick feeling making its way to her stomach.
she doesn’t know why this was bothering her so much, maybe it was fact that even when yn tried her hardest to act like she was annoyed by her, it was obvious that eunchae will always be someone who had a soft part for.
and hanni wasn’t gonna lie she wished she was the only person that yn had a soft spot for.
“I’m going to my room.” hanni announced not wanting to watch the live anymore, “I forgot to finish cleaning.”
“oh yeah, yn is sleeping over, you begged her.” hyein teased.
oh right…

“what the hell is your problem?”
hanni looked up from her phone to look at a clearly annoyed yn who pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose which made her look less intimidating, both girls sat beside each other on hanni’s bedroom floor.
“what?” hanni replied looking off to the side to avoid yn’s gaze.
“don’t what me,” yn said aggressively, “you’re the one who begged me to sleep over and you’re not even talking to me what the hell is your problem?”
“there isn’t a problem.”
there was definitely a problem, after watching the live hanni had spent the last hour watching yn and eunchae ship videos on youtube.
“so you think I’m stupid.” yn asked when deeply offended that hanni would even think that she would take that as an answer.
“maybe I will if you don’t believe me.” hanni said with an attitude, “I said there’s no problem, leave me alone.”
as soon as the words left her mouth, she regretted it. before she could even process it, she was flat on her back against the fluffy carpet, yn straddling her, one hand firmly pinning hanni’s wrists above her head.
“let go of me!”
“I will after you tell me what’s wrong!”
”there’s nothing wrong you short stack of pancakes! let me go!”
“what the hell did you just call me?!”
“nothing! let me go!”
“I can do this all day, just communicate with me.”
“since when did you become a therapist, let me go!”
“I guess we’re staying like this.”
five minutes passed.
hanni stopped struggling breathing heavily looking up at yn who looked down at her unimpressed, “ready to talk.”
“you.”
“huh?” yn asked confused, her grip on hanni’s wrists loosening.
“I said you!” hanni exclaimed sitting up fast causing yn to fall off of her.
yn groaned as she sat up, “what are you talking about,”
“ask eunchae.” hanni grumbled.
“can you get to the point!” yn snapped, her patience was always slow, her pinning hanni down earlier was a great example of that.
“I’m jealous!” hanni snapped back, before covering her face with her hands, “ I’m jealous, alright?”
yn genuinely looked shocked at her girlfriends words, “you? jealous? why?”
“you and eunchae in your live today and you getting her matching bracelets and then letting her be all over you and then I went into this deep hole of watching ship edits of you guys,” hanni rambled.
“and YOU allowing her to call the both of you melody and kuromi when WE’RE melody and kuromi.” hanni exclaimed gesturing to their matching pjs hers and melody on it while yn had kuromi on hers.
there was silence for a couple of seconds before yn let out a small giggle.
“why are you laughing?” hanni asked in shock.
“because I never thought I’d see the day where you would be jealous and of eunchae? she’s like an annoying pet, but you’re my girlfriend.”
“this isn’t funny,” hanni grumbled shoving yn’s shoulder.
“it is!” yn replied, “because you have nothing to be jealous of its only you.”
“really?”
“yes,” yn rolled her eyes, “now please stop pouting it’s annoying.”
hanni wrapped her arms around yn who groaned, “that’s the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me.” she teased, “and please never let eunchae call the both of you melody and kuromi that’s our thing.”
“ugh get off of me.”

NSFW ALPHABET WITH FIRECRACKER
Aftercare
She is a cuddler. Once you two finish, she is not letting you go. Wrapping her arms around you and pulling you in til she gets all her cuddles.
She doesn't clean up afterwards, preferring the two of you all sticky and wet to remind her of the pleasurable activities had.
Bodypart
She thinks her breasts are her most powerful and useful bodypart. They certainly help her brainwash people on her podcast. And she notices the way you not so slyly glance at them when you think she's not looking.
On you, she loves your stomach. She could spend hours lavishing it and slipping her tongue down it's toned planes.
Cum
She's messy when she comes, dripping down her thighs, squirting in some cases. And she needs multiple rounds, worked up with having to deal with those assholes at work who think she's nothing but poor dumb trailer trash.
Dirty Secret
She wants genuine friends. She's tired of never feeling like she has anyone to trust, anyone that likes her for her. She has you now, but she still craves the validation of her peers (and Starlight not that she would ever admit) and it's something that won't ever go away, forcing her to do awful things for a sliver of dedication from her fans.
Experience
Somewhat experienced, though not in long term relationships. Most of her experiences have been semi satisfactory one night stands with randos. It wasn't until she met you that she knew what it felt like to have a partner in bed that cared about her well being. She cries the first time you two sleep together and you don't zip up your pants and leave her right away.
Favorite Positions
A mega bottom, at rock bottom, you could say. She lives to please in bed and wants to do a good job for you. You make sure to reward her plenty with orgasms and gentle kisses afterwards to show her you're not going anywhere.
Goofy
She does not like being laughed at or made fun of. It reminds her too much of her pagent days, of how people looked down at her.
Hair
She does shave but doesn't mind hair on her partners.
Intimacy
She craves physical touch and emotional connection. She wants someone to care for her, to show her she is loveable and not entirely irredeemable. She needs you cuddling her, or hugging her, or showering her with kisses whenever you can. She needs words of affirmation too, and a simple 'I love you' can keep her going for days.
Jack off
Knowing you love her is enough to get her going sometimes. She'll remember this fact in the middle of work and have to excuse herself to take care of things in the bathroom because she's so overwhelmed by this information, so happy, that she needs to finger herself right then and there. She'll send you a text message afterwards on occasion, with a picture of her hand all sticky with her juices.
Kink
Praise- she loves being praised, being told she's a good girl and doing such a good job.
Pain- she likes to feel the intensity of your love. Since she's supe and you're not, you need to use various implements to get her to feel that pain. She's purchased whips and paddles for you to hit her with on the days she really craves the sting of your love.
Lactation- (had to put this in here, it's basically canon) she wants her breasts sucked on, and since she's on medication because of her job, why not suck her dry? She'd much prefer you doing it than her boss and it makes her moments at work more bearable imagining it's you and not him.
Location
She will do it anywhere- her house, your place, the alley behind a fast food joint, the woods, out in the swamp. All she needs is you and ten minutes.
Motivation
Proving others wrong about her. That she can be a someone and not a no one. Dating you has done wonders for her confidence but she's still insecure inside.
Oral
She loves giving oral, the sloppier the better. She wants to be all up on you, and tasting you. She loves it when you eat her out too, chin messy with her fluids.
No
There's very little she will say no to. She loves to indulge any kink of yours because she wants you interested in her even if you won't leave her if she says no to something. She will not do anything related to jealousy or sharing you with someone else. She's already very possessive of you.
Pace
She lets you set the pace. After all, you're in control and she wants to please you by listening to your orders.
Quickies
She loves them, but they always leave her wanting more with you. They distract her too much and she has to stop herself from doing them unless she wants to get caught at work.
Risk
She used to be into risky acts when she was younger, but she's toned down a bit because she feels settled down with you.
Stamina
She can't go for long despite her supe strength. She feels each orgasm too intensely and it drains her suprisingly quickly. She will find the strength to make sure you complete at least one orgasm before she's pulling you to her and demanding cuddles.
Toys
She will let you stuff her with any toy you want, even multiple at a time in her mouth and any other hole you want them in.
Unfair
She loves it when you make her service you, but you have to make sure to reward her or else she gets very sad thinking she didn't do a good enough job.
Volume
Very loud. You need to gag her sometimes.
Wild Card
She used to be a big fan of superheroes until she learned what assholes they all were (her included) and stopped trying to be moral.
X-ray
She goes commando under her supe suit. It gets so very hot in it, and it's a lot easier for you to strip her out of it and get right to work.
Yearning
High sex drive. You could wake her up in the middle of night from sleep and she wouldn't say no.
ZZZ
She curls up into a little ball as she sleeps, and is very clingy. She runs hot so you have to keep the AC on at night.

Supe Preference: How They Propose
Requested: I know you already did a preference with how they propose but please please please do this with the supes! I think it would be amazing. thank you thank you thank you ♥️♥️♥️ - anon
A/N: I hope you like it my love!!! This was so fun to write, I love exploring their characters!!! Feedback is always appreciated 💕
Homelander makes sure he's got a crowd with his supporters when he pulls out a ring and gets on one knee, asking you to marry him. There are cameras and reporters there, too. They will run stories about the most powerful man in the world finding his one true love, the sparkle in his eyes when he looks at you, the faulter in his voice when he asks you. Everyone who saw it for themselves says it was the most romantic speech they've ever heard. This will do great for his public support and image. His fans are all about traditional values. Homelander staying a bachelor makes his fans antsy, nervous, like he can't settle down. Now he's doing that. You, John, and Ryan will be the perfect little family. An instant family, actually. People cheer and whistle and cry. You say yes, because there is no other choice. And you hug and kiss, and he directs you were to look and what questions to answer like when the wedding will be or the color palette you'll choose. He makes jokes and quips that everyone laughs at.
The Deep asks you to marry him on television. You were placed together because you have fantastic ratings, and he could use a little boost in the public eye. You haven't been "dating" for very long but, as he puts it in his speech, he doesn't need to have known you for a long time to know that you're the one for him. You smile, and even she'd a few tears before putting the ring on and kissing him. You're not actually getting married, at least not legally, but Ashley already has color swatches and flowers and venues. It'll be the wedding of the century. You make sure, behind closed doors, he doesn't get the wrong idea. You put on a good act. You're smart and stunning, and you could have any Supe you want. When the inevitable divorce happens, you'll come out the better for it. Interviews, book deals, and talk shows. You'll ruin him. You just have to get through the next few months without any hiccups. You have to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid or vulgar. That, in itself, is a full-time job. You talk through grit teeth in your smile, telling him not to fuck this up for you.
A-Train does it out of desperation. You and Reggie were high school sweethearts. You were together when he was let in the The Seven, and you've stayed with him through every bump in the road. When things with Homelander get really tough, really scary, Reggie pops the question. It's not the most romantic drive for the proposal, but if anything ever happened to him because of Vought and Homelander he wants you to have access to everything he'd leave behind. All the money, the deals, everything. You can only get that through marriage. He loves you, he's loved you forever, but he does this not solely out of love. He can't. This decision is too big and has too much weight. He has to protect you, to save you from what he's had to deal with. You don't know any of this about the engagement though, so you say yes, proclaiming it one of the happiest days of your life. You understand some of the tension, but Reggies too afraid to go into detail. You'd worry too much. He can't do that to you.
Maeve blurts it out during a fight. You're tired of being hidden. You're tired of keeping things so low-key, rescheduling because she has to go play house with Homelander. You're both yelling at one another when she asks you if you want to marry her. Of course you do, you say, angry that she would think anything different. Then let's get married, she yells. Fine! She storms off into the linen closet where the small box sits between two towels. You hated them and said they were too scratchy. You never would have looked there. She hands it to you, and when you open it, you're speechless. You always said things about jewelery in passing: silver or gold, the cuts you like, the gems if diamonds aren't your thing. You're angry and then you're not. It's a lot to think about (knowing you and Maggie could never go public, it would put you and her in far too much danger) and yet, the answer is so clear. Yes. Yes you want to spend the rest of your life with her. That's all you've ever wanted.
Firecracker asks you live on her show. You always knew she'd want to include her fans. They're a big part of her life, her popularity, and a huge reason why she's even part of The Seven. Her audience has heard stories about you from the beginning. They heard all about your first date, how cute she thought you were. It's only right they be included in this. So, under the idea that you're doing an interview about being in a relationship with one of The Seven members, you agree. When she asks you, you're speechless. Everyone is cheering and whistling. Of course it's a yes! That episode of her show goes pretty viral. Some of her fans are upset and turn on her, but for the most part they're all happy you're now engaged. Ashley is happy, too. Misty's ratings haven't been great as of late, but this stunt makes her a fan favorite all over again. Her audience agrees with the traditional values of marriage, family, etc.
Soldier Boy always wanted to get married, settle down with a white pickett fence, and a couple of kids. He certainly thought it would have been sooner than this, but he's still young, and he wouldn't have found you if everything hadn't happened. Still, it's been on his mind. He sees you with him in that house, with those kids. There's one thing to be grateful for out of all this. Ben isn't a huge romantic. You're not expecting rose petals and candles. Instead, he rolls over in bed one lazy morning and pops the question. You think he's joking, saying that's not funny when it's something you wanted forever. He's serious, though. He's got the ring and everything. It takes you a minute to realize this is all real. Of course, you say yes! When you do, he attacks you in kisses, grinning from ear to ear. You go out and celebrate, drinking until the room spins, telling anyone who will listen that you're getting married.
Sister Sage comes to you with a list of pros and cons. Some are big, like the commitment of marriage and the issues behind the traditional values. Others are relatively small to you, like the number of books she'd bring with her when you got a place together. You and Sage have been together a long time. You know she has thousands of books, you know she's thoughtful about everything except her own messiness, her own chaos. It's up to you to decide. She leaves her list with you, but before she can step through the door you're already saying yes, explaining your feelings about the whole situation. You love her. You know she has faults, God knows you have yours. And she still loves you not despite them, but because of them. She wasn't really expecting you to say yes, at least so immediately, so you'll have to wait on the ring. It was the easiest yes of your life.

What You Can’t Have (Homelander)
Description: FireCracker won’t leave Homelander alone even though he’s engaged.
Warning: Smut
Word Count:1,905
Request:
i have a request!! homelander is publicly dating y/n and has been for a while and firecracker is obsessed with replacing y/n to get to him (like she’s originally a brunette but saw he was dating a redhead and dyed it, literally owns y/n’s whole wardrobe and has a hate account for us) and she keeps disrespecting us to him and trying to fuck him and he gets fed up with it and one day he’s horny and it’s because y/n sent him a *spicy* pic while he was at the tower but firecracker thinks it’s because of her (she was constantly trying to show off her tits and legs during the meeting) and tries to seduce him once the meeting ends and instead he has her wait (thinking she’s gonna fuck him) while he calls y/n over (she’s a supe and can fly) saying it’s an emergency and fucks her instead. (‘why would i ever want to fuck you when this is the woman i have’ she watches while he just praises y/n while eating her out and fucking her) ends in him telling firecracker that his supe gf is replacing her
omg sorry for so much detail i couldn’t stop thinking about it 😭😭
Author’s Note: Hey Besties I am sorry I have been inactive I’ve been working a lot but I will try to keep up!
The new ring that was on Y/N’s finger made the world go crazy. The big diamond ring was all anyone could talk about as Y/N posted pics to her social media. Homelander and her had been dating for 4 years prior to that and they were the IT couple. The world’s most beloved couple. Well not everyone loved them… FireCracker has a huge Homelander fan and she despised Y/N. But was obsessed with the woman and had everything she did. She would be on her podcast talking about her all the time and how she believes that Y/N is using Homelander and doesn’t actually love him.
But she dressed just like Y/N. It even went as far as having a hate account for the woman. Any selfie or picture of her FireCracker would be posted to the account and make fun of her. Y/N hadn’t paid any attention to this but Homelander was furious with the woman. Once FireCracker was in the seven she made it her destiny to get rid of Y/N and be with Homelander. “I am here if you need anything. Anything. I’ll do anything for you.” Homelander looked at her unimpressed by her words while the red head had a smirk grazing her lips. “Cool.” He said and she walked away. He knew what her game was and he wasn’t playing it.
“I mean she came up to me today and told me she would do anything for me. Pathetic.” He told Y/N as they ate dinner. “Sounds like your biggest fan.” She smirked. Y/N wasn’t jealous. She knew that she had Homelander wrapped around her finger and that this new girl would never get in between them. “I thought you were.” He said and she chuckled, “I guess I’m your second.” She joked. “Babe, she also has a hate account for you.” Y/N’s jaw dropped. “No way.” She said and he nodded.
She pulled up the account and laughed. “No way.” “She is obsessed with both of us.” “I’m glad you find this amusing.” He said. She looked at him and shrugged, “I just can’t believe she went out of her way to do this.” “I mean I know I’m hot and everything but that’s a turnoff.” “Oh a big one. Plus only I can say those things to you.” He smirked, “Oh baby you can say a lot more.” He told her.
Homelander would roll his eyes and huff whenever FireCracker would talk to him. She went out of her way to push up her boobs and show as much skin as possible but it didn’t do anything to him. “I have a fiance.” He told her and she shrugged, “Not for long.” His jaw dropped at her words and it took everything in him not to laser her. He knew that he had to talk to her about her attitude and that he’s aware of the hate account and harsh words she says about his woman.
“Remember that suit I made you for our 4 year anniversary?” He asked Y/N as they cuddled on the couch. She nodded and looked back at him. “You should wear that more often. You look very sexy.” He said. The suit was a replica of his but it was a sexy version. Her boobs looked amazing in it and her ass did too. Just picturing it made him hard but she was almost asleep in his arms.
Homelander did his best to avoid FireCracker but he knew that he couldn’t when the meeting happened. He was getting ready for it and sighed. He looked in the mirror and fixed his suit when he got a text from Y/N. It was a photo. He opened his phone and almost dropped it at the sight. “This is the suit you were talking about?;)” Was the caption underneath the pic of her. She looked sexy and ready to be fucked but he had a meeting so he texted her “Be here in 20 minutes.”
FireCracker like always was trying to show off her body to him. In the meeting she was trying to show off as much skin as she could but in reality it didn’t matter. Homelander smirked at the thought of what he had planned. He was going to get it in her head that he wasn’t into her in the worst way possible. After the meeting Homelander dismissed everyone besides FireCracker. “Firecracker stay please.” He said. “Why of course sir.” She winked at him and he wanted to puke. But he had to put on a show. “So it’s come to my attention that you’ve been trying to show off to me.” He said. “Only for you.” She said with a smile. He couldn’t wait to see that smile wiped off her face. “Well there’s only one way I’m fucking you.” He said and pulled out her chair. “You sit here and I get to tie you up.” He said.
“Oh kinky.” She said and sat in the chair and looked up at him. He faked a smile and went to get rope. He ties her up and just in time for Y/N to arrive. She looked around as she heard a noise. “What was that?” She asked Homelander who smirked. He let Y/N in who was wearing the suit. FireCracker’s jaw dropped at the sight. “Hey babe.” He said and Y/N looked at him confused. “Why is she tied up?” “He’s gonna fuck me.” Y/N snorted. “Yeah no he’s not.” “Oh sweetheart he probably was gonna tell you after it was said and done that I’m his new girl.” “He texted me to come here.” Y/N said and walked more in the room. “Maybe he wanted you to watch.” “No I wanted you to watch while I fuck my soon to be wife.” Both girls look at the man like he was insane.
“What?” They both say. He chuckled and walked up to Y/N. “She won’t leave me alone so I’m fucking you to get it through her head.” He states. Y/N stared at him for awhile not knowing what to think. “Why fuck her when you can fuck me?” Firecracker said. Y/N smirked at him and pulled him in for a kiss. The kiss was rough and hard and full of lust. He returned the kiss with just as much lust as she gave him. His hands went down to her ass and he squeezed it causing her to let out a moan in his mouth. He smiled and pushed her to the table where FireCracker could see everything. “See this woman right here is a work of art.” He said as he traced her perfect face. His finger got to her lips and she playfully bit his finger. “She is so sexy and playful.” He said as he finger traveled down her neck and to the valley of her breasts. “Ugh these tits look amazing in this suit. Don’t ya think?” He asked FireCracker who didn’t say anything.
“I made her this suit on our 4 year anniversary and I’ve wanted to fuck her in it so bad and now I have the chance.” He said as his finger got lower and lower. Y/N breathing started to pick up. His finger was right above her soaked pussy. His dick was harder than ever now and time couldn’t be wasted. Before his finger could grave over her clit he pulled his hand away and smirked. He chuckled and pulled down his pants to reveal himself. Firecracker drooled at the sight but Y/N grabbing him and stroking him ruined it for her. “And her hands, dear god, they feel amazing. Soft and silky.” He groaned out as his girl jerked him off. Her hand sped up the pace making him whine. “I need to cum inside of you baby.” He groaned and her hand stopped. They both did their best to get her butt ass naked while he stayed in his suit. “Her body is incredible.” He said as his hands traveled her body.
His hands landed on her breasts and she gasped as he flicked and pinched her nipples. “These would look so good swollen with milk.” He groaned and she hummed in agreement. Her head was back and her eyes shut as she enjoyed his touch. His hands traveled lower to her pussy that was soaking wet. “And look at this pretty pussy. It always smells so delicious and tastes so good too.” He says and gathers some of her juices with his finger and licks it. He hums and his eyes roll back. “Perfect.” He growled. He pushed her back on the table and she gasped as her back hit the table. He lined himself up with her entrance. He looked at FireCracker who was red in the face but couldn’t look away from the scene. “You see you’ll never be her. You’ll never be nowhere near her.” He said and pushed into his woman making her scream out.
His dick was huge and she just never could get used to it. He hummed as he felt her tight pussy clench around him. “Fuck and the feeling of her insides is delightful.” He groaned and began moving his hips. Homelander never was one to take things slow but today he was being different. He wanted to show the conservative bitch that he had a woman that was perfect and he didn’t need her. His hips thrusted deep but slow into her and her hands were placed on the table. She couldn’t grip onto anything at the moment but she was too into the pleasureful state to care. Her little moans and whimpers made him pick up his speed a little. “And those pretty moans and noises she makes are perfect.” He groaned.
“John fuck.” She whined as his hips were now going really fast. The sound of them and skin slapping was all that could be heard. He pulled her body up so she was no longer laying down. Her eyes opened and she gasped at the sight. Homelander looked fucked out. He had drool that was near the corner of his mouth and his eyes were closed. He looked so pretty. Both of them were close. Firecracker watched as his hips started stuttering and no longer had a rhythm. Y/N was shaking and whining his name telling him she was going to cum. “And when she cums…fuck it’s heaven.” He whines the last part as he feels her cum all over him.
She hugs him tight as her hips move with him to ride out her high. “Cum for me John. Please, I need it so bad, baby.” He grunted as he came inside of her his hips stilling and stuttering. She gasped feeling his cum inside of her and she moaned. Their highs lasted longer than usual but they didn’t complain. Homelander smirked as he watched his girl breathe heavily like a dog in heat. He cupped her face and gave her a loving smile that she returned.
“Firecracker my fiancé is replacing you in the seven.” He tells her while staring at Y/N with loving eyes. They don’t look away but hear her gasp. “Next time don’t flirt with a taken man that could end you within a second.” He said and finally pulled out of Y/N. Firecracker didn’t say a word as she stared daggers at Y/N. But her mood didn’t kill their vibe.

Firecracker confronts Y/N…
Firecracker: it’s you? You’re the-
Y/N: don’t finish that.
Firecracker: you’d throw away everything here at Vought for what?
Y/N: being a real hero. I like you. A lot. But I can’t just stand aside anymore.
Firecracker:

WORD COUNTER: 2.1k

Life with Homelander was great, something so great that it makes you go insane, crazy...good crazy may be bad for some, but you could take it, right?
Vought, was another thing, watching over your shoulder and making sure everything went well, I mean with you there were a lot fewer casualties than usual. Soon things got less complicated with Edgar and Madelyn being gone from Vought, basically Homelander leading the company with Ashley as a puppet.
It was chaotic per se, where Homelander's watching eye was everywhere in the building. His leadership didn't make anything better but worse. With the seven keeping on being replaced and disappearing mysteriously, surprisingly you were still there with the same everything, no new rebrand, no nothing just staying in place.
You didn't mind it at all, I mean you still had a job and were still getting paid. Even with the weird shift of Black noir, instead of his quiet demeanor, he was talkative which was a change. It was evident it wasn't noir and everyone in the seven knew it, but nobody questioned it. You didn't mind but preferred the change, and even started talking to him.
He was a little better than old noir, not in combat but in being amusing, even spending time with outside meetings and regular superhero activities.
"So how the fuck did you manage to even fly like that?" You asked while you walked with him down the hallway,
"I have no idea, it just happened?" Black Noir II shrugged, you nodded at his words as you took a sip of the peanut butter frappuccino from Vought's cafe, it was a plus that he wasn't allergic to peanuts like the old noir. It wasn't a glow-up from the old noir but a plus. You two chatted as you got into the elevator, it was abruptly stopped by a red, white, and blue cape fluttering into wedging between you both, making you step back, it was Homelander.
The atmosphere immediately got tense than it was once a carefree mood, it was quiet.
"Good morning Homelander," you said, it was met with a nod from him, "Morning Sir," Black Noir said to him, only for him to glare at him, "Don't fucking talk" Homelander ordered, clearly annoyed that he was talking.
It was suffocating being in the elevator, you just took a sip of your frappuccino, praying for the elevator to open up quickly.
Guess your answers were answered rather quickly, as the doors of the huge elevator opened to the meeting room, the giant seven table in front of you.
The Deep, Sage, Firecracker, and A-train were already in their seats. "Good morning sir" The deep stood up, saluting him which made you laugh a little. You immediately took your seat next to Firecracker, and the meeting started. It was a blur to you, something like finding the leak in Vought, which you had many questions about.
The whole meeting was led by a different Sage, your eyes flicked towards Homelander, he was staring at Black Noir. You averted your eyes away,
God, you have to pay attention more often.
You couldn't help but take a sip of peanut butter frappuccino, "Would you fucking stop" Homelander's voice interrupted Sage's presentation, all attention was at him and he was staring directly at you.
"Um...Sorry" You hesitating looked back at him, and you felt eyes on you. You couldn't help but your heart to beat faster,
You watched Homelander rubbed his head in annoyance, closing his eyes before staring to you, "Could you slurp any louder?" He said, his voice dripping with annoyance and sarcasm.
"Sorry" You muttered, putting it back where it was,
"No..nope" Homelander repeated, he pointed at you again, "Be a good girl and put it in the garbage" He snapped. You looked around, with everyone staring at you, "Okay" you responded, slowly getting up from your chair, taking the cup in your hand, and throwing it in the garbage before sitting down.
"Good"
With that statement, the meeting continued on, with your face heating up in embarrassment, as you sank further into the chair.
Sage's voice engulfing your thoughts,
You got interrupted by a note being thrown at you, it was obvious it was from Noir that somehow got to you without Homelander looking, you grinned a little bit, secretly opening up the crumbled piece of paper.
[I'll buy you a new drink after the meeting] - Noir
You read the note, before turning your attention to him and smiling, quickly putting the note in the pocket of your suit before Homelander can see it. Combing your hair back and leaning back into your chair.
Soon the meeting ended, getting up from your seat, and everyone else was doing the same, yours scanned and the room soon landing on Firecracker still in her seat. But you didn't care much to ask why, but more excited to hang out with Noir after this awkward meeting.
"Everyone can go expect H/N" You heard Homelander's voice mentioning your name made you freeze. You stopped where you were, "You can go Firecracker" Homelander turned to her,
"But..um Homelander sir—"
"You can go," Homelander said again but in a more threatening tone, "Now" After he said she scrambled out of the meeting room.
Soon it was only you two left in the room, you watched hesitantly as Homelander turned to you. "Y/N, we need to talk," Homelander states, you could hear his voice straining, with concealed anger.
You looked up at him confused, "About..what?" You asked.
You watched as he walked around you, his pace was slow, you listened to his footsteps echoing around the empty meeting room, before he stopped suddenly, " Do you think I'm just stupid?" Homelander said, his tone catching you off guard.
It wasn't confusing that Homelander was speaking to you in anger, you rarely got him angry knowing you both were together and your relationship wasn't publicized due to his status.
"No, definitely not John," You replied, using his name instead of his hero alias, made him freeze before he stared at you.
Jealously was gnawing inside of him when he looked at you, "Tell me...are you fucking him" Homelander snapped at you, your brows knitted together in confusion at his words. "No, we're just hanging out—why would you ever think that?" You stuttered over your words, as Homelander walked closer to you.
He reached out for your face, harshly grabbing your chin with his hand, tilting your face to meet his eyes. You felt his glove hand digging into your face, his eyes closely turning red, you just felt fear, you were terrified. You knew he could smell your fear, and hear your rising heartbeat. "John...I would never cheat on you, I'm yours" You entreated, trembling under his grip.
Finally, his grip got looser and then he dropped your face, making you stumble a bit.
"Then show me," Homelander said,
You were confused about his words, "What?"
"If you love me..show me" Homelander sat down in the seat in front of you. It took you some time to process his words, confused at what he was saying, "Come on, strip for me" signaling towards your chest.
Your brows furrowing, "Come on, if you don't do it" Homelander leaned in his seat, "You won't like it if I do it" He finished,
"Now strip" He repeated, his tone more irritated.
You took a breath in and started undressing. Unzipping your suit, feeling the cool air on your bare skin. Your suit falling on the marble floor echoed through the room, leaving you in your bra and panties.
"Bra and panties too" Homelander eyed your chest.
You comply, putting your hand behind you and clipping your bra off, discarding it on the floor, and stepping out of your panties, leaving you fully naked in front of him.
"Come here" He patted his lap, "Crawl" he pointed at you. You sank down to your knees and crawled towards him and stopped in front of him. "Come on, you know what to do" You felt his hand on your cheek, stroking it.
You looked down at his growing member in his pants. Hesitatingly looking up at him through your lashes, as you started to undo the bottom of his suit revealing his cock, you looked up at him, "Use your mouth" You leaned in and inched his cock into your mouth, before taking him whole. Homelander moans out feeling your warm mouth enveloping his cock, feeling his hand gripping your hair making you wince.
You slowly bob your head down on his length, his grip on you getting tighter. Your ears perched up at his straining voice barely containing his whimpers as he watched you intently, taking him whole. "Fuck, your good at this" Homelander groaned, jerking you away, taking his cock out from your mouth. Staring at your disheveling appearance, spit dribbling on your chin.
His hand still fisting your hair, "Your pretty when your like this" Homelander chuckled, before forcing you down his cock, making you gagged. Tears prick on your waterline, saliva staining your chin, his grip never loosening as he abused your throat, thrusting into your mouth, the sound of slick, the sounds of wet suction filling up the room.
His pace turning frantic, fucking your mouth.
Homelander threw his head back as waves of ecstasy washed over him. His hips buckled uncontrollably as he lets out a guttural groan, filling your mouth with his cum. "Fuck, ..." He pants, chest heaving, before he gripped your face, "Be a good girl and swallow it" He threatens, feeling the hot liquid going down your throat, swallowing it.
His grip loosening and releasing you. You panted for air, feeling his gloved-hand stroking your cheek. "Now, stand and lean over at table" Homelander ordered, as you got up from the floor and obeyed his order, propping yourself on the table, and bending yourself over the glass. You couldn't help but to feel excited for the pain, the slick dripping down your legs. You waited in anticipation,
Before feeling his cock stretching you out, biting down at your lip at the simmering pain, arching your back. His hands on back of your waist, "Fuck" you mumbled, gripping the end of the glass. Before he thrusting into you, "You think Noir would please you like I do" Homelander growled into your ear, his breath warm on your skin "N...no" you mumbled, feeling his cock tearing you open, feeling himself stretching your cervix.
His ministration was more painful next than the next, feeling his cock stabbing you over and over again. The sounds of flesh slapping filled the room, letting out a gasp, your voice wavering in pain. His thrust driving deeper into you, clenching down on his cock, feeling his grip digging into your skin.
You hated how you were slowly enjoying this, feeling yourself coming close to your climax. Your body tensing up as you feel your skin warming up,
His hips stuttering against yours, "Fuck, I'm close" You felt his hands stroking your hips, "What if I just cummed inside you, breed you myself, have my kids, and have a family...then ill have you to myself" He whispered,
You felt your heart in your throat, "Pull out" You tried to get away from stone grip, "Homelander, please" You begged, only for your face to be shove down on the glass table. Scrambling underneath his grip, just to get him off you. "please" you cried.
His pace getting frantic until he thrust into you for the last time, feeling on cue your body shuddering as he came into you. Feeling himself spilling inside you, making you freeze on the spot.
Feeling him finally pulling out of you, leaving you there stunned. He kissed your shoulder, the kiss feeling lingering on you.
You heard the sound of him putting his pants back on. He stared at you before walking towards you, before sighing, you turned your head to him, "I forgive you, you know" He said, his hand behind his back watching your pitiful form,
"Just don't do it again" he pats your head,
"Now get dressed, we have a date" He smiles, listening to his footsteps descending from you.
