#first and foremost to get larries’ attention

I love how you articulated your thoughts. I am guessing that is all the more of a reason why Harry felt so connected to the blue bandana, always carrying him around. Obviously these are just guesses, but I really feel it was(is?) his coping mechanism to feel connected to his love.
The stories about the blue bandana are mostly fun. Back then, when the bandanas fan project was happening, I think it was a statement of course. But recently I don’t really think he used to wear it for that. I think he would do something more personal for them if he wanted to show his partner support or whatever.
#i lean towards the opinion he did what he did during stunt season#first and foremost to get larries’ attention#mostly to create (even more) buzz around him in a part of the fandom that was being hit hard by the whole thing#and mostly to communicate that some things didn’t change#the collar thing is a fun one I don’t truly believe in haha#but it was nice to see when stunt was fucking unbearable to us all#casella di posta numero 32

How would an artist like Harry come out as gay if his fans want him to be straight? It seems much easier for bisexual men to come out than gay. Gay will ruin fans fantasies. Fans think they'll marry their fave. You said before that seeding needs to be done before a coming out to get fans on board so it won't be a surprise but what if those fans refuse to get on board? Like they don't see any queercoding because they're straight and can't pick up on it, or they see obvious signs but ignore it because they're in denial and they just dismiss anything. Straight fans will dismiss everything so how to get them on board?
Hi, anon!
Because his fans don’t primarily want him to be straight anymore. His fans have grown up. His fans want him to be happy first and foremost. They're loyal too him now, after being fans of him for years, so if he can show that he's happier than ever being gay, then his fans will accept that and continue being a fan of his and support him.
Coming out as gay will ruin some fans fantasy, but there is nothing stopping fans from continue living that fantasy even if he's out as gay. Women still drool over J. Bailey even if he's out as gay.
The seeding needs to be slow enough that fans aren't taken by suprise, but be explicit enough that it leaves no doubt. The seeding isn't over until everyone knows and doesn’t need to be told. H needs to end up in a glass closet situation. The ideal outcome is when someone who used to think H is straight and wanted to marry him, feels like they're in on a secret, that H is gay, and are able to see him fall in love and be happy. It's important to show them he's still the same H they know and love, even if he's gay. When H comes out, they can pat themselves on the back and say "see, i told you so". They'll be happy for him and want to keep following him. Instead of wanting to marry him, they now want to be his friend and dress and look as him. They already wear the same nail polish as him and owns the same tote bags as him. Ideally, they've become larries and support his relationship with Louis. They want to see him have the happy ending he deserves.
There will always be some fans that refuse to accept H as gay. Some of them will come around and some will not. I think the ones who'll end up leaving him will be replaced by new fans who will want to stan him because he's gay. Members of the queer community for example. The coming out will create a lot of press attention and will be spread far, and just the exposure H will get from this will gain him new fans. So i'm not worried at all about the fans who leaves. They'll be replaced.

you know what. WRIGHTWORTH IN HIGH SCHOOL AU
HERE IT IS FINALLY HOLY SHIT
Endless pining is my specialty I hope you enjoy the sillies
----
Miles was, embarrassingly, pretty sure that he'd fallen in love with his very best friend.
Since that class trial at the beginning of fourth grade, they'd become pretty inseparable. Phoenix was grateful to both Miles and Larry equally (which always led to Larry landing them in hot water and Miles having to bail them out of it), but things always seemed warmer, for lack of a better word, when it was just Miles and Phoenix. Even after Franziska entered their lives and took up most of his time, as Miles had a duty to be a good big brother to her (and she was, in all honesty, more of a handful than her small and delicate stature let on), he would always drop everything and come running whenever Phoenix called his name.
Something about Phoenix was just so inspiring. He listened so attentively when Miles talked about law and being a defence attorney and any other books he read. He had such an honest, straightforward way of looking at things that provided a valuable and very needed alternative perspective. Miles liked hearing Phoenix's thoughts on every single subject they discussed, no matter how simple or complex they could get. Hearing Phoenix talk at all was always nice, liable to send that tingling warmth throughout Miles' whole body. He had to fight down the constant urge to hold Phoenix's hand when they stood beside one another, had to break himself out of daydreaming up possible scenarios where he would get to hug his friend, or kiss him, or even ask him to join him on this journey to becoming an attorney.
So, yes. Miles was sure he was in love with his best friend. And he was entirely out of his depth.
Love seemed so foreign a concept, despite how easily it seemed to come to Larry and Phoenix both. The two had their crushes on plenty of the girls in their schools, but Miles never quite understood their reasoning when he asked them to explain it. Writing mushy love letters seemed a waste of time when he could be studying or reading more about law. He could also spend that time better by playing with his adopted sister. Or talking with his two very good friends. Mooning over someone to the point Larry always did, where he was prone to making a fool of himself with grand gestures (and always roping Phoenix in to help), never seemed like a great use of his time.
Miles supposed it wouldn't be falling in love without a little incomprehensible messiness. He'd read enough case files to know people went absolutely nutty for the ones they declared to love.
But all those cases were far too extreme. He needed to gather evidence, first and foremost. Then he could identify how exactly to build his own case here.
He went first to Mister Shields, who, despite being as ridiculous as Larry about the matter, was an adult at the least. (Miles had to ask his dad about dinner plans anyway, as the firm was working a tricky case and Miles wanted to make beef stroganoff again to cheer his dad up. It always worked.) It was pretty easy to find Mister Shields at the office on any day, but especially right now since Miles' dad took Miss Fey with him on the investigation this time. Approaching Mister Shields' desk, Miles opened with a blunt, "How can you tell you've fallen in love, Mister Shields?"
"Miles, bud!" Mister Shields laughed in good humour, as usual. He patted the top of Miles' head, mussing up Miles' hair, also as usual. "Not even a, 'hi, hello'? You're so much like your pops."
Miles pushed his hand away, growing sheepish at the unintentional praise. "Sorry. It's nice to see you, Mister Shields."
"So you think you've fallen in love, eh? Unless this is about me and my many affairs again."
Mister Shields grinned at him mischievously and Miles huffed at him. "I didn't say either of those. I'm just curious. You're always being foolish around other women and Larry's the same, so I wanted to try and understand it better. Why do you do those things?"
Mister Shields laughed some more, clearly not believing his intellectual curiosity. "Well, I'm not sure I'm the one to help you out here, Miles."
Miles frowned in confusion. "Why not?"
Mister Shields seemed like the perfect one to explain it, always getting distracted by the female witnesses and defendants. Just like Larry. He still went to visit Miss Kate and Mister Masters every so often, so his infatuation at least lasted longer than Larry's. Was he being facetious the whole time? That was rather cruel of him towards those ladies he flirted with, then. He said, "Each case of love is a lot like the trials your father takes on, with their own unique causes and players and bodies of evidence. Sometimes you can't help but fall for their beauty, other times it's their wit and charm that attracts you. And, if you're real lucky, sometimes it's them who falls for you."
Miles gave a dissatisfied hum. He did find Phoenix pretty beautiful and enjoyed the other boy's cleverness. "But how can you tell?" He insisted.
"All the usual signs." Mister Shields grinned suddenly, gearing up to really tease Miles. "Butterflies in your stomach when you're around them, wanting to do things just to make them smile and feel nice, thinking about them all the time, things like that."
"But. Aren't those all normal things to have and think around your friend?"
Miles' frown deepened. He was three for three on these supposed signs. An unease took root in his shoulders at the possible answer he had to face here. Mister Shields laughed and said, "They can be, absolutely. There ain't any rules against falling in love with your best friend, you know. In fact, in a lot of cases, it can be even better."
All this evidence stacking up against Miles wasn't great. "Love sounds far too complicated to be worth it." He mumbled in defeat.
"Chin up, bud." Mister Shields encouraged him. "Love can be a wonderful thing despite how scary it can seem at first. If you wanna follow in your dad's footsteps, you can't let a little thing like this bring you down. Face it head on, as if it were a difficult case."
"What do you think I'm doing right now?" Miles asked in a huff. Mister Shields just laughed at him and he sighed. It sounded silly, but it was pretty good advice. Mister Shields was good at sounding ridiculous while imparting actually useful advice. "Thank you, Mister Shields. I'll keep what you said in mind."
"C'mon, Miles. You gotta tell me who the lucky person is." Mister Shields said, getting a bit too eager to weedle this out of him. "I bet your old man would love to know his son's developed a crush, too. I promise I'll only tease you as much as any older brother might."
Rolling his eyes, Miles gave a parting, "Goodbye, Mister Shields."
Mister Shields continued laughing boisterously as Miles left the office and headed home. He could ask his father about dinner plans later. At the very least he had an answer now, even if it wasn't an ideal one. He was pretty sure about it to begin with, of course, but the confirmation beyond a shadow of a doubt was nice to have. Falling in love with his very best friend brought up a whole multitude of issues. Such as the fact that he'd only ever seen Phoenix and Larry get their crushes on girls, leaving Miles as the odd one out. (There was no way he would emulate either of their behaviours here. He absolutely refused.) Miles had no idea how to go about confessing to this crush, either.
Once home, he found Franziska laying across the floor and reading a book. Her favourite place to be when she and Larry weren't getting up to all kinds of mischief. He had to really talk with Larry about encouraging his little sister to break things when they were too wound up to sit still. Miles greeted her with an informative, "Father is still out on his case, so we can wait a while longer to start on dinner. Have you finished all your schoolwork all ready?"
"Have you?" She fired back, not even phased. Her wickedly sharp words were always a delight to parry. At least, so long as she didn't aim directly for his head. Her mischief was more likely to get Phoenix in trouble half the time, though, meaning Miles got maybe too used to deflecting her strikes. She hopped onto her knees and asked, "Why did you go all the way out to the office, anyway? If you really wanted to ask papa Edgeworth about dinner plans, then you should have called him."
He smiled wryly at how immediately she could call him out. He sat down on the floor beside her and admitted, "I had a question for Mister Shields, actually."
"Was it about how foolishly you've been acting lately?"
She frowned up at him, arms crossed over her chest as she judged him as harshly as a nine-year-old could. Which was quite a lot, she had a really good glare. (Got it from her real father, no doubt. Miles didn't remember too much about the man, having only seen him a handful of times while watching his father fight against him in Mister Masters' trial.) It was more familiar, too; Miles remembered how many times he'd been told by his teachers to quit glaring at everyone, that it was why he never could really make friends outside of Phoenix and Larry. In a quiet sort of admission, he said, "Love is pretty foolish, I agree. But maybe it's not entirely a bad thing."
"Ah-ha! I knew it." She crowed in triumph.
She leapt to her feet as she preened, taking advantage of their positioning in order to be taller than him for a moment. Miles shook his head at her childishness, though he said fondly, "Yes, you're very clever indeed."
"Don't patronise me. Anyone could see that you've been a fool for ages. I'm just proud you're finally admitting it to yourself." She gave a haughty little sniff, then sat back down and locked him in her intense stare. "Now, tell me everything about how this is turning your mind to rubbish. With any luck, I can offer my services in helping to set you up with him. You're positively helpless on your own, after all."
Miles laughed. "Ziska, you can't tell me you've got it all figured out."
"Why not? It's such an easy answer that it's not even a challenge worthy of my superior intellect." She tossed her head back, then glared at him once more. "But it'd be too easy if I said it for you. Admit it with your own mouth, Miles."
She cranked up that intimidation to the max. Phoenix and Larry both professed to it being a harrowing thing, and even Miles couldn't refute how uncomfortable it was to be locked down by it. But really, she was far too cute for it to have much of an effect on Miles or his father. Not that Miles would ever tell her as much. He preferred not being chased around for an hour by a rampaging Franziska. As casually as he could, he said, "Fine. I'm pretty sure that I've fallen for my best friend."
Saying it aloud was weird. Like there was no way to take back that declaration now that it was out in the open. Miles wasn't sure he was okay with that. Franziska made a noise in an overblown disgust, even sticking her tongue out. "Pretty sure? Miles, you are very foolish if you can't even recognise how foolishly you've fallen."
"And you're far too precocious for someone who's barely entering fifth grade."
She crossed her arms in a huff and said, "For as long as I've known you, you have been a fool for that even more ridiculous fool Phoenix Wright. That you're only realising it now just goes to show how much of a fool you truly are."
In spite of himself, he fell into a pout. "You don't have to call him by his full name every time. You don't do that to me or Larry."
"There is no other way to address him that would properly convey how much of a fool that boy is."
She huffed once more and Miles could see he wasn't about to convince her. Had he really always been in this sort of love with Phoenix? Of course he loved Phoenix, the other boy was his friend. But romantic love? It was harder to tell that since there was no way to distance himself from the question. Since he had nothing better to say, he gave the obvious, "Phoenix is my best friend."
"Which is why you continue to be so clueless." Franziska leaned back as she sighed in a long and dramatic display of her exasperation. Then she swiped up her book as she stood and gave him a condescending little pat on the shoulder. "Don't concern yourself so much with how hopeless you are. It is my duty as your sister to assist you in these sorts of matters, which is much better than you rightly deserve. But even my stupid brother should have a chance to be stupidly happy with his equally stupid friend."
"You just want to make fun of me some more." Miles argued, brushing her hand off his shoulder.
"Well, that's just the compensation I'm owed from putting up with all your foolishness."
She grinned sharply at him, his only warning for her incoming mischief, and he scrambled to his feet to give chase as she rushed off. She managed to grab his phone out of his bag and composed several over the top and sappy texts, all of which she sent to Phoenix with her signature all over them. Miles ended up laughing too hard to stop her sooner. It was all in good fun, anyway. Phoenix and Larry both had to be used to her hijacking hid phone by this point.
Right as they were preparing to get things out for dinner, their father returned with good news on the investigation. Miss Fey couldn't join them this time, so Miles and Franziska both helped as best they could in preparing dinner with their father. As they all laughed and had fun, Miles put the matter of this whole crush on his best friend to the side. He could always talk more about it with Phoenix later.
//
Phoenix had Larry pretty beat in their game when his phone chimed.
"Ooh, mister popular." Larry teased him immediately.
Phoenix rolled his eyes and finished their match, much to Larry's chagrin, then set aside his controller in order to check what it was. "It's probably my mom wanting me back home. Or Miles. His dad's on this pretty difficult case right now and he said he'd keep me updated."
"Ugh, you guys are such nerds."
Larry threw his own controller up in the air as he collapsed backwards with a dramatic groan. Ever the ridiculous one. Phoenix giggled at him, but when he saw the texts were indeed from Miles, his heart did skip a beat. It was silly, this was probably nothing more than some neat insights into the legal world, and yet more and more recently, he enjoyed any excuse to chat with his very best friend.
As he read the text, however, his giddiness fell to confusion. This was decidedly not Miles texting him. Judging by how often they called him a fool, it was undoubtedly Franziska.
Which made it all the stranger that it was a declaration of love and friendship that Phoenix was a fool for not taking more seriously.
Too curious to leave him be, Larry sat up to peek over Phoenix's shoulder at the screen and asked, "Is it your mom? D'ya have to go home now?"
Phoenix smiles in the end. No use overthinking it when it was just another one of Franziska's crazy pranks. "Nah, it's Franziska. She says I'm not worthy of being Miles' best friend."
Larry frowned at him, incredulous. "Dude, Ziska doesn't even have a phone."
"She hijacks Miles' all the time, Larry. Mostly to text you, I'm pretty sure."
"Wait, that was her?"
Larry scrambled to get his own phone and Phoenix laughed at his silliness. Before Phoenix could send any replies, he got another message. Then two more. She was really on a roll. Each one was more obviously her than the last and he appreciated her enthusiasm, but her lack of any tact was definitely more than a little suspicious.
"I guess that explains why Edgey would send me messages calling me a fool until he hit the character limit." Larry sighed, tucking his phone away and rubbing the side of his head in annoyance. "Man, if she'd coordinated this with me better, we could'a totally caught Edgey by surprise for his last birthday."
Phoenix shook his head at the memory. "Miles reads his texts, you know."
"That's another thing! He could'a told me it wasn't him. Why didn't he tell me she got his phone?"
"Maybe he knows you're smart enough to figure it out by yourself."
Larry groaned and flopped back over dramatically. Then he looked straight at Phoenix, suddenly no nonsense, and said, "So. You gonna do anything about what she told you?"
It always caught Phoenix unawares when he'd do this. Phoenix had to remind himself that Larry was mostly a goofball as a deliberate choice. He shrugged and said, "I mean, it's only according to her. She likes to mess with us."
She and Larry were usually the only ones to find their insane pranks funny. They were actually pretty scary when they teamed up, able to understand each other on a level of chaos beyond the rest of the world's comprehension. Franziska's ideas had no limits and Larry was a filthy enabler as long as he found the bit funny enough. Larry shook his head and said, "This is too mean spirited to be just a prank. C'mon, Nick."
"Mean spirited is how I'd describe her on her best day." Phoenix grumbled.
Larry hoisted himself up to meet Phoenix's level and said, "Fine. But you can't keep running away from it forever."
Confused, Phoenix asked, "Running away from what?"
"Don't play dumb here, Nick. You might be able to get away with that with Edgey, but not me." Larry grinned suddenly, goofy and worryingly confident. "You've been crushing on Edgey since we first met. Aren't you happy to hear he likes you back?"
"Wh-What?"
Though he was no doubt blushing from how much embarrassment flooded him, Phoenix huffed indignantly at his ridiculous friend. He hadn't been crushing on Miles that long. He'd had plenty of crushes, but none of them were on his best friend. (At least, that was his story and he was sticking to it until he died.) Larry tilted his head from side to side as he went on, thinking things over aloud. "I mean, you totally deserve someone way less of a stick in the mud than Edgey. Then again, you liked that girl Daria so I guess there's no accounting for taste. And I guess they say opposites do attract. Like fire and water, bread and butter."
How were bread and butter opposites? Phoenix said sternly, "I don't have a crush on Miles."
"Yes you do." Larry rejected him point black. Which, fair. He had Phoenix on that point. It was still annoying. "Ooh, you should totally let me help you confess to him, since he's getting help from Ziska on his. I'm great at making up memorable and grand romantic gestures. Just as Lisabelle! She was so into me while we were together."
Giving up for now on convincing Larry otherwise (he could be surprisingly stubborn about the worst things), Phoenix interjected quickly. "No, Larry, I'm good on my own here. I also remember how you and Lisabelle broke up."
Larry hung his head in defeat a moment before springing right back up and into action. "So, what's your plan here, then? You gotta say something, it'd be real awkward to just leave it hanging in the air between you two. Please tell me you got at least half a plan, Nick."
"I don't, because Miles and I are happy being just friends and that's it." Phoenix tried one last time.
"But you're missing out on so much more potential!" Larry shouted, throwing his hands up in the air. "Think of all the cuddling you two could be doing. The smooching! You could hold his hand like ten times more often."
"Okay, okay!" Phoenix shushed him, glancing fearfully towards the room door. He had no other choice to resign himself to this, didn't he? Sighing, he said in a much more defeated tone, "I don't know if I should plan it out. I'd rather it happen naturally, forcing it would just make it weird, you know?"
Miles was his best friend. What if he ended up finding Phoenix weird for this whole crush thing? Phoenix sighed again at the thought of it.
"Besides, you know me and plans don't mix."
Larry let his head loll back in agreement on that one. "You're like the luckiest unlucky person in the world."
Phoenix nodded tiredly in agreement. It was a fair assessment. Any time he ran into a worst case scenario (like getting such bad food poisoning on his birthday that he was out for two whole days, or that class trial which started it all), he'd also end up better off than anyone expected (Miles became his friend, they got those Signal Samurai charms for each other, they got to attend the same school and mostly stuck in the same classes). His mom called it the Wright curse jokingly, since his dad apparently used to have the same sort of wildly fluctuating luck.
"Well, you gotta at least try something." Larry went on, insistent on wringing out every single one of Phoenix's misgivings on this matter. "Edgey's just as crazy about you as you are for him. Ziska ain't playing here."
"How would you know?" Phoenix asked in a huff.
"C'mon, Nick. I know you're so dense that you missed every signal Lilah was throwing at you, but you can't tell me you haven't noticed how much Edgey's into you."
Larry levelled him with that too serious look again and Phoenix shied away. His phone buzzed again and he took the distraction gratefully. It was actually from Miles this time, apologising for Franziska's rapid fire texts and promising a chance to talk about this new breakthrough his father made in his case. Notably, he didn't mention anything about the contents of those texts; he probably knew Phoenix was smart enough to discredit them as Franziska's doing.
Larry scooted over to read over his shoulder again. Phoenix's throat went dry all of a sudden, closing up at the thought of addressing something so daunting as this thing he never wanted to even admit to.
"I just. I don't want to assume anything." He said in a mumble.
Larry rested his chin onto Phoenix's shoulder. "You're scared of everything going tits up like it usually does for you." He clarified.
Phoenix frowned at him a moment, then went back to staring at his phone. If he spoke it into existence, then it became real. There'd be no taking it back. "What if he thinks it's too weird?" He asked, grasping for any excuse he could. "You know he's never understood it when you or me had a crush on someone. What if he decides it's too awkward being my friend anymore?"
"You never know until you try." Larry pointed out.
Phoenix put his phone away and stood, upsetting Larry's position. "I should get home before mom starts worrying."
"Oh, come on, Nick!" Larry shouted, flopping onto the floor. "Where's that fighting spirit you always got? Charge on ahead like you usually do, act first and think later."
"It deserves more thought that our usual brainless approach." Phoenix protested in return.
He shook his head and left Larry's house, pausing to say goodbye to Larry's parents. They were always nice, even when he and Larry were being way too rowdy like they were. As he walked home, Phoenix worried at his lip and thought this over some more. Of course Larry would want to help. Of course Franziska would, too. They were friends, they had the best intentions. But this was way too delicate of a matter to leave it to them. It was too delicate a matter to leave to Phoenix, really! Yet he had no choice but to figure it out himself, considering it was mostly his problem to begin with.
No, that wasn't fair. It wasn't a problem, it was Miles. Nothing about Miles could ever really be a problem. Not when he was so wonderful and smart and Phoenix really was too far gone for him by this point.
He didn't pull his phone back out until he was safely at home and in his room. Larry was right, even if Phoenix was loathe to admit it. There really was no better way to know how this would turn out unless he asked. Letting that question hang in the air between them would be so much worse than ripping that blanket right off.
It took him at least a minute to punch in his statement: "If we're being serious here, then I think I'd like being your boyfriend."
He stared at it for another minute or two, then braced himself and sent it. There, bandaid ripped right off. No taking it back now.
Waiting for a response was just as agonising. He wanted to both toss his phone across his room so he wouldn't check it obsessively and to shove it beneath his pillow so he could at least hear when Miles responded. If Miles even would respond. It was dinner time now, so there was a good chance Miles wouldn't even see his text until later.
He had to put it out of his mind. He had to so something else for a while.
He went and joined his mom in the end, helping her finish up dinner preparations. He wasn't as good as Miles was in the kitchen (or Franziska, who was way too fast at learning what Miles' dad taught them), but he could follow her direction and do enough. He could even manage his weird luck enough to not make a disaster of things. That had to count for something.
As he settled into bed for the night, he saw he did get a reply. His whole body froze, but he pushed past that dread and read Miles' reply.
"If it's all right with you, I think we should discuss this more in-person. Sleep well, Phoenix."
It was both nerve-wracking and hopeful at the same time. It could end really, really badly, or it could turn out just fine. Phoenix was tempted to send back something more, to pour out all of these things swirling around in him, but he supposed they could do that more efficiently tomorrow. Hopefully. Maybe. Gosh, he hoped Miles wasn't about to crush all his hopes here.
Things would be fine. They had to be. Miles was his best friend here.
What he ended up sending was a simple, "Sounds good! Seeya tomorrow!"
Then he pushed his phone onto his nightstand and wrapped himself up into his blanket, resolving to fall asleep and not think about it any longer.

I can see what you mean with the comparison between the privacy of Freddie vs Zayn’s kid and Liam’s kid, but to me there is a major difference with Freddie. You might not agree, obviously, and it’s just my own thought, but from the moment it was announced Brianna was having Louis’ baby, the family have used Freddie and the situation for attention. They essentially encourage those weird fan sites for Freddie (which solo hrries actually follow, their anxiety about Louis’ potential sexuality is so obvious). That family have done a lot, and I mean a lot, which has put Freddie in the public eye. I think Louis actually might be trying to protect Freddie in this impossible situation. I do think Louis does care about Freddie, he loves kids and while the situation is very abnormal, Louis’ biological father was never around so he probably knows that biology doesn’t always mean anything. So maybe this is Louis’ attempt to protect him as best he can, considering how Freddie has been used by his biological family, but in a more controlled way. Louis really can’t control how Brianna and her family use Freddie, but on his side, I think he is trying? We don’t know what Freddie understands or knows but while I don’t believe Louis would be so public with his actual child, I can see where this public stuff has come from with Freddie considering the lack of control Louis had, and still doesn’t have really.
I enjoyed the documentary. There is a lot missing, which I expected. Those missing years where Louis’ debut album was shelved, where he became a judge on X-Factor, years where a lot of things happened behind the scenes and which Louis would definitely not be able to show, even if Charlie had been around then. The truth is, I just love Louis. I love his music and he makes me feel happy, and safe, and cared for. He isn’t perfect and I don’t expect him to be but I do think he tries, he makes mistakes and he doesn’t always make the right decisions but I do not believe I have the right to judge because who knows want I would do faced with the same situation? I am a Louie first and foremost and I will always hope for better for him, for his career, for everything. I have no answers and I don’t know what will happen. But I have Louis and his music and that means so much to me. So many larries forget that, the humans behind their ship, especially with Louis because Harry can do no wrong for so many.
The Jungwirths absolutely have exposed Freddie, but if Louis was concerned about Freddie's that, why did he do frequent, entirely preventable pap walks with Freddie during the first 6+ months of his life? Why hasn't he attempted to get a better custody arrangement considering he can afford significantly better lawyers than that family? In the same vein, why hasn't he fought for the right to protect his child's privacy in court? The idea that Louis is simply trying to control how Freddie's exposed because he knows the child has been used by the Jungwirths doesn't hold up when you look at the full picture.
There's so much cognitive dissonance around the entire situation that people try to come up with the simplest possible explanations to make some sense of it, and I think that's why you've seen so many Larries and non-Larries alike who didn't believe Louis is a dad just accept that he is in the last week. It's much easier on the brain to just forget all of the arguments against it and all the things we've seen with our own eyes since 2015 when the pregnancy was announced. I'm not one of those people though. I can't explain away all of these things and I can't forget everything that I've seen.
So instead, I've just gotten to a place where I acknowledge what I believe (Louis is not a father, Louis is not straight, Louis is a good person, Louis deserves better, Louis' personal life and relationships should not be central to his career) and I also accept what Louis and those around him want us to believe (Louis is a father, Louis is straight, Louis' personal life and relationships are central to his career), at least right now. I'm not letting myself get upset over it or getting emotionally invested in any of it. I'm just enjoying what I can of fandom and stepping back from anything that I don't.

"Faaather." Travis, whining
"What?" Kenneth, tired of Travis whining
"I want a challenge." Travis
"Yeah, let me just call down an angel for you to fight." Kenneth, sarcastically, before turning around to be face-to-titty with a (male)angel.
I very much love this being like the tiktok sound of that guy squealing in surprise.
Kenneth, who never expected angels to hear him, let alone be real, is now afraid. Not because his son is going to fight an Angel. But because the Angel casually guided Travis into fighting Kenneth. He has no powers and no respect/fear from his child.
Of course the Angel knew that and wanted to watch Kenneth get dragged around like he deserved. Despite their complacency the heavens are very adamant to keep out abusers. There is no room nor opportunity for someone like Kenneth in their home.
I can also picture the Angel shows Travis a more appealing humanoid form while Kenneth only sees this terrifying creature with copious amounts of eyes and rotating gold bands. Travis thinks the humanoid version is boringC pulls the Angel down by their face (very gentle bby boy) and politely asks them to show their real form. He doesn’t care about appearances for friends now that he can have some.
And that’s how Travis has ended up with a new Angel friend that likes to linger around in a very handsome human male form. Sal and Larry absolutely despise this new guy clinging to Travis. Acting brand new to everything.
Larry has to be held back and silenced whenever the guy looks at Travis for help and Travis offers HIS drink! While he opens the new bottle!! Or they share meals because apparently utensils are strange to him! Who was this poser!? Get away from their Travis!!
Sal tries to wedge himself between the two. Only to get sympathetic looks from the new guy and confused glances from Travis. He doesn’t usually act so needy but this is unfair. Some handsome stranger comes in and steals Travis’ attention from him! He finally has the chance to be friends and now there’s another person to take up Travis’ time (Philip is first and foremost always to Travis. And vice versa.).
Red is a little jealous of the new spirit around his host. However he is much more relaxed after Travis showed blatant favoritism by holding him and demanding the new guy apologize for upsetting him. The fat cat purred as the Angel begrudgingly apologized for his transgressions to the demon.

a think piece that no one asked for
things have been really tense in fandom world these past couple of days and i’d like to start off by saying this isn’t meant to add fuel to the fire. this is simply my two cents on a problem that exceeds this situation. it will come as a shock to absolutely no one that people in this fandom tend to view things with a very black and white perception and i for one have been actively trying to not do that for a while so this is probably a result of that. a lot of this has been said before but never in so many words in place so anyways.
the catalyst for this is the louis + notes discussion that came out of the walls mv so i’ll talk about that first. first and foremost, the amount of notes an edit gets ≠ the amount of support louis has. there are people not on tumblr.com who have preordered his album, purchased his merch, bought tickets to his tour. the relative lack of notes on a post is not indicative of support and success. if people aren’t reblogging your posts, perhaps consider the possibility that there’s a reason that’s not them disliking/not supporting louis’ career. when larries reblog louis+harry edits, it doesn’t mean they don’t care about louis on his own (at least not on my dash). if they were to break up tomorrow, i’d still be here supporting these white boys in their solo endeavours bc i care about them both as individuals. so does almost every larrie i can think of. and in case people forgot, we don’t get undeniable content every day like we used to. they’re both doing their own things and when those things align, i’ll be damned if someone makes me feel guilty for enjoying them. i got two hands, two ears, four chambers in my heart full of enough love for both of them.
adding onto that, i saw people comparing notes on solo louis edits to solo harry edits and i have one word for it: wack. they’re at vastly different points in their careers and it makes zero sense to compare their popularity on tumblr. people dont do that for niall and liam, who also get significantly less notes on edits made of them. and we can hate it all we want, but harry was always the one marketed to stand out from the rest of them. from the very beginning of one direction, he had a spotlight on him that the others simply didn’t. that didn’t disappear. it only got stronger as time went on and after the hiatus, he was the only member expected to succeed. he was the one everyone had their eyes on. that’s not his fault or louis’ or anyone else’s. that was something orchestrated ages ago by people with far greater power. that being said, right now, harry has two studio albums out. he has gone on a massive world tour. he’s been in a very successful war film. for many reasons, his fanbase is just larger than louis’ at the moment, who does not have an album released and has not done the other things harry has done. that’s not his fault and i’m not minimizing what louis has achieved; these are just the facts. comparing the attention they get on here is just a moot point because it’s not fair.
also. if you complain about people not reblogging your louis only edits when you have half the fandom blocked... make it make sense, sir. and stop guilt tripping. people not reblogging your edits ≠ them being bad fans. take a step back and reevaluate.
it feels like a lot of people have just forgotten what it’s like to enjoy things. Person A is complaining about a thing, Person B is complaining about Person A, Person C goes on twitter.hell and complains about both on there and comes here to act like they didn’t just throw a bag of oxygen into an already burning fire. just shut up and be nice to each other. talk to each other instead of making weird shady posts about people that you choose to follow. or get this - you can simply unfollow without making a big deal out of it. if you’re someone who will call out every blog that hates on harry and will get mad at people for reblogging from them, either have that same attitude about louis hating blogs or kindly be quiet. let people blog in peace.
i’ve seen it happen many times, but one of the most awful things to witness here is people throwing away years worth of friendships out the window over fandom opinions that really truly are not that deep. if you both care about the boys, if you both want the best for them, then just talk about your differences. these white boys are really important and they mean so very much to me but don’t let petty differences ruin your personal relationships. i’m not saying to go and be friends with someone who obviously doesn’t care for one of the boys, or disregards real social issues bc of their privilege/lack of understanding, but differences in fandom opinion over things you can’t change... allowing that to end your friendships... why do that?
i’m not trying to preach at anyone bc i know i’ve been guilty of things in the past but some people recently have been... too much. instead of growing and maturing, some of u seem me to regressing in maturity and it’s concerning. fandom shouldn’t become your identity to the point that your relationships are dictated by it
#read this at your own discretion its a LOT of me rambling. if u have smth to say about it...... mssg me off anon bc i'm turning that off#seedpost

Do you have any advice for an aspiring larry writer? 🥺 i just read your magic au and it's so good
thank you darling 🥺🥰
and about some advice, specifically for the larry/one direction fandom, i hope these don't discourage you. it's just what i wish i'd heard before writing anything. the 1d fandom is weird to write for, especially if you've written for any other fandoms before on ao3, because despite how active it is - it's one of the worst fandoms to appreciate their writers.
write for yourself first and foremost. this is a really bland advice and in most other fandoms, it doesn't really have the same weight. but in the one direction fandom it does. it's hard to be acknowledged if you're not one of the writers of the stories considered classics. you can spend months writing a lengthy story that's on par or even better than the classics, and it won't get more than 20 kudos. the one direction fandom is the worst fandom i've ever written for in terms of being acknowledged for your work.
please don't make it too sexual. if you want to write an entire smut fic, you go for it, but please use your own characters or any of the fictional characters from the thousands of other fandoms out there. fan fiction has a role to play in the sexualisation around hl's relationship. (i'd say this includes tropes like abo and mpreg, that's problematic for both fetishistic reasons but also other issues like dubious consent and transphobia - but that's another discussion)
write what you want to read. if you want to read a la casa de papel au? write it! you'll be able to write the au just as you want it, with all the tropes you like, and you'll be writing for yourself. that also means that even if it doesn't get attention from the fandom, it's not gonna be as hard a hit because you didn't write it for the fandom, you wrote it for you
make a fic post on tumblr. if you can, make a moodboard to along with the story and make a post on tumblr tagging larry ficrec accounts. despite the earlier advice i've given: just because the fandom is shit at giving kudos doesn't mean your fic doesn't deserve it because it does. and many find their new to read fics on here rather than looking through the newest fics on ao3.
and please, send me a link when you write it 🥺 i'd love love to read it

The m*ttmil*tea blog is 100% an astroturfer, but they're definitely a lot ruder than the typical ones that come to camren blogs. That blog is actually pretty hostile. They were attacking and insulting people on here, including people who didn't even say anything to them at first (like toucanhussey and into-control). It's like they were just trying to cause conflict. Why do you think that was? Cause it confuses me. And why would they lie about things which are facts? (like the SLC hoodie writing)
I left this ask unanswered in my inbox because I didn’t want to draw attention to this basic AF astroturfer
But since it looks like they’ve gone on hiatus again (astros frequently delete/deactivate blogs with each narrative they’re trying to push, in order to cover their trail)
Let’s answer some of this
“That blog is actually pretty hostile. They were attacking and insulting people on here including people who didn’t even say anything to them at first (like toucanhussey and into-control). It’s like they were just trying to cause conflict. Why do you think that was? And why would they lie about things which are facts?”
This excerpt is from a writeup done by @decoding1432 back on 30 April 2017 - they wrote a series of blog posts on the use of astroturfing to manipulate fandoms, in the context of Camren, and borrowing heavily from material written and gathered by the 1D fandom:
Yes, Anon, let’s talk about the harm that astroturfing does:
First, and foremost, it derails the conversation. If there were no astroturfing, what would we blog about? Well, a big variety of things. I, personally, am very interested in the marketing/bearding/closeting strategies issue, and want to talk about that. A lot of people are really invested in creating a safe space for LGBTQA+ fans within the 1D fandom. Others would like to have a conversation about the harm that the homophobic marketing narrative is doing within and outside the 1D fandom. Etc. etc.
When people respond to astroturfing messages, what do we talk about? Proof. Proof, proof, and more proof. The amount of hours that has been spent compiling proof is staggering. This seeds doubt among the blog readers, certainly, but it is also a huge waste of time.
What else? Shame. Fake messages force people to constantly defend themselves against the idea that it is somehow harmful to believe that Harry and Louis are together. People reading the blog might internalize the idea that there is something wrong, and hurtful, about believing in Larry. Mission accomplished. (decoding: *cough* in our case Camren *cough*).
What else does it do? Draw attention to stuff that doesn’t deserve attention. Fan drama, update accounts, rumours, etc. etc.
Anything else? Oh yeah, it spurs on intra-fandom fighting. Awesome.
THAT is the big harm of astroturfing.
Here are @decoding1432 series of posts on astroturfing - if you read @emisonme posts then you can handle these, so get the fuck ready to read
The Art Behind Manipulating & Guarding a Fandom (p. I)
The Art Behind Manipulating & Guarding a Fandom (p. II)
The Art Behind Manipulating & Guarding a Fandom (p. III)
The Art Behind Manipulating & Guarding a Fandom (p. IV)
And I mean the evidence of their basic AF ass-fuckery speaks for itself
They come and go like the fucking wind with every fucking narrative and they push toxic manipulative bullshit

The killing of Rhoda Hinson Part 30

This photo, courtesy of Jill Turner-Mull, is of her and Mark Turner, taken the Summer of 1981, during a beach trip with Greg McDowell and Rhonda Hinson.
By LARRY J. GRIFFIN
Special Investigative Reporter
For The Record
(Editor’s note: This is a continuation of the story of the December 1981 murder of Rhonda Hinson.)
If the sweatshirt was transferred on December 22, 1981, it would be an important piece of circumstantial evidence. Even the manner it was placed in the car would give weight to an argument. Did she forcefully throw the sweatshirt towards [Sic] the backseat and it landed on the sundeck? –Detective James “Flash” Pruett’s File Notes of Monday December 13, 1995.
Jill Turner-Mull recalled the first time she was contacted by Detective James “Flash” Pruett of the Burke County Sheriff’s Department (BCSD)—December 18, 1995—five days shy of the 24th anniversary of the killing of Rhonda Hinson.
Turner Mull said, “I was working at Forms and Supplies in Charlotte; had been married over a year and a mother of a six-month old baby. It was a very busy day when he called, and I didn’t have a lot of time to talk with him. I had to keep placing him on ‘hold’ to wait on customers; he didn’t seem to mind waiting on me.”
Detective Pruett reflected upon the conversation with Rhonda Hinson’s best friend in his case notes: “She was very busy talking to customers….We talked for what seemed like hours. The end of the call was around 4:13 PM…I called her back several times after the first call comparing information I had obtained from other witnesses. I feel the conversation with Jill produced another clue in the case.”
Foremost on Flash’s mind was a question concerning a gray-hooded sweatjacket that belonged to Rhonda but was spotted by Jill Turner-Mull in boyfriend Mark Turner’s car. The detective had previously learned, from the Burke County Sheriff’s Department’s voluminous case files, that in 1983 Jill told Bobby Hinson that the coat which was left in Mark’s car was “the gray sweatjacket”—the same one that was discovered on the rear sundeck of Rhonda’s Datsun 210 on the early morning of Dec. 23, 1981. It was also among the items catalogued by SBI Special Agent John Suttle, later that same day, during an examination of Miss Hinson’s vehicle that had been transported to a location on the campus of Broughton Hospital.
Also in question was the establishment of a viable timeline of events which transpired during the last 13 days of Rhonda’s life—commencing with Dec. 11, 1981, two days prior to her Dec.19 birthday. The perceptive Detective Pruett was attempting to ascertain when the jacket-in-question might have first been spotted in Turner’s car by his girlfriend.
In the Fall of 1981, Jill Turner-Mull was attending college at Western Carolina in Cullowhee; Mark Turner was schooling at Elon in Burlington, and Greg McDowell—Rhonda Hinson’s boyfriend—had matriculated at NC State in Raleigh. Rhonda—burned-out with school at that juncture—remained at home in Valdese and acquired employment at Hickory Steel. But during the weekend of her birthday, Flash noted that she and Greg and Jill and Mark double-dated on Saturday, Dec. 12, 1981. Ms. Turner-Mull, however, was puzzled by that notation, while conversing with this writer on Saturday afternoon of this weekend past.
Turner-Mull said, “I don’t think either Mark or I came home the weekend of Rhonda’s birthday. I know that Greg came home to be with her; but it just wouldn’t have made sense for me to leave Western Carolina the weekend before final semester exams. Exams began Monday the 14th…I have no memory whatsoever of coming home to Valdese that weekend or double-dating.”
A letter that Jill wrote to Rhonda Hinson, dated Dec. 8, 1981,and subsequently mailed on Dec. 9, seems to corroborate her claim. Upon chartreuse stationary she wrote to her best friend: “How is the working woman doing? The college woman is about to go crazy. I have so many tests these next two weeks I think I’m just going to pull every hair out of my head. I’ll be so glad when Dec. 18 gets here. Mark is suppose [Sic] to come get me then, but I’m trying to talk him into coming up here earlier say, Wednesday or Thursday. Katie [Hudson—Jill’s roommate during the 1981 Fall Semester] is getting to leave Mon. Dec. 14 because she doesn’t have any more exams. I’m going to be by myself….Me and Mark aren’t coming home this weekend, but when we get home, we’ll all have to go out. OK?”
Judy and Bobby Hinson recalled that Greg came home the weekend before their daughter’s Dec. 19 birthday and that they dated on Saturday night, Dec. 12. But neither have any recollection of a double-date with Jill and Mark Turner. Assuming that the recollections of the Hinsons and Ms. Turner-Mull are accurate, then Mark and Jill would have returned home the following weekend after completing their final exams—the weekend before Rhonda was killed.
On Wednesday Dec. 20, 1995, Flash focused attention upon the events of Monday Dec. 22, 1981. His first inquiry concerned the car that Greg McDowell was driving on that afternoon when he picked-up Rhonda for lunch.
Tonya Benge [Featherbay]—one of Rhonda’s co-workers at Hickory Steel and a member of the trio of celebrants who attended the Dec. 22, 1981, company Christmas party with her at the Hickory American Legion Post—remembered seeing Greg at noon that day as she and Rhonda walked outside to leave for lunch. Tonya identified the blue Chevy Nova that he was driving.
The detective summarized his thoughts in the case file notes he conscientiously maintained: “I reviewed Greg’s statement in Book #1, page5. He said he picked Rhonda up in the burgundy Toyota. Tonya also said when she saw the Unsolved Mysteries show, when it showed the part about the blue car, it shocked her and she immediately said, ‘that’s the car Greg was driving the day he picked her up for lunch.’”
Flash realized that if Ms. Featherbay’s memory was accurate, then Greg McDowell lied to investigators. He posed a rhetorical question and subsequently offered an obvious answer:
“Why would he say he was driving the burgundy car?” Pruett wrote. “If he used the blue car to go to the crime scene, he would try to make his statements show he was not driving a blue car. Charles Mc Dowell admits in his interview the fact they have three cars: the tan Citation, the blue Nova and the wine-colored Toyota Tercel.”
But there were other inconsistencies, in that same statement from Mr. McDowell, upon which Detective Pruett commented: “Greg lied about Rhonda calling her parents to say she was on the way home from Sherry’s. Could he have inadvertently told what Rhonda told him? Rhonda did not call her family to tell them anything! Another point of interest in the interview is the time Greg said Sherry gave for Rhonda’s departure. He said Rhonda called him at 12:30 [AM], but states Sherry said she left at 12:30 [AM]. All of the McDowell’s times seem to be 12:30 and 2:30 each interview, almost like it was a rehearsed speech.”
Flash then proffered this observation: “Greg was not interviewed formally until December 24, 1981.”
After reviewing information previously reported in this series, Detective Pruett returned to the aforementioned point on the timeline:
Pruett wrote: “Tonya Benge Featherbay stated in an interview they [Rhonda, Sherry Pittman Yoder, and Ms. Featherbay] left [the party] around midnight. If Rhonda only spent a few minutes at Sherry’s house, it would give her 45 minutes to an hour to meet with someone. The last person she talked to, other than saying goodbye to Sherry, was Greg McDowell. Could Greg have asked during the ‘heated phone conversation’ for Rhonda to meet him. [Sic]…Rhonda didn’t call home saying she was enroute, very unlike her normal routine. Did she tell Sherry, ‘this is it, it’s all over, I guess Greg and I will be breaking up.’ The word guess would indicate perhaps they were going to meet and discuss breaking up. Did Greg have the jackets in his car…?”
It was four days after Christmas—Dec. 29, 1995—that Detective Pruett met with Jill Turner-Mull once again. The interview was conducted at his office at BCSD from noon until almost 6 p.m. Prior to the meeting, Flash had asked Ms. Turner-Mull to go by the Hinson residence on Hillcrest in Valdese to look at the items found in Rhonda’s car. He was particularly interested in her being able to identify the gray-hooded sweatjacket found on the sundeck of Rhonda’s Datsun 210.
In his synopsis of the day, Mr. Pruett wrote: “Jill was able to identify the jacket as the one she saw in Mark Turner’s car. She was able to identify it by the initials—HH WTC. The initials stand for Western Tennis Champions and list the champions as Hinson and an unknown tennis partner with the initial H. Two friends who played with Rhonda are Lisa Huffman and Katie Hudson. [Note: Rhonda also played tennis with Jean Harris and Wanda Holland. To date, no one seems to be able to decisively identify the other, “H.”]”
According to Flash’s notes, Jill told him that she came home during a “weekend near Christmas 1981” and dated Mark. [Note: In a conversation with Ms. Turner-Mull this Saturday past, she indicated that the aforementioned date had to occur on Saturday, Dec. 19, 1981—the day after she returned to Valdese from Western Carolina.]
Jill told Detective Pruett that she saw the sweat jacket in the backseat of Mark’s beige, two-door car—maybe a Chevrolet Impala. She immediately recognized it but didn’t think anything about it, because Rhonda had just asked, during a recent local phone conversation, if it was alright to go Christmas shopping with Mark. She may have said something to Mark about the jacket, but she just couldn’t remember. “Perhaps I said, ‘Oh, there’s Rhonda’s jacket.’”
Ms. Turner-Mull promised Detective Pruett to research old love letters from Mark to place a time frame on when the jacket was in his car. And Jill recollected the pledge she made to Flash, this past weekend during her most recent interview with The Record. “I kept everything—every note, card, letter sent to me by Mark, Rhonda, and even ex-boyfriends all the way back to Sixth-Grade.”
True to her word, Jill located at her parent’s house and mailed pertinent letters to Flash the very next day—Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995.
Detective Pruett summarized Ms. Turner-Mull’s statement in his case file notes: “The only oddity in her interview is the fact I discovered Mark Turner was near the crime scene about the time of the incident. Jill had defended Mark repeatedly, saying Mark was with her when it happened, but after clarifying the times, Mark dropped Jill off at her home near Rhonda’s residence around 12:30 [AM] on December 23, 1981. He was driving the large two-door tan car.”
And then Flash recorded an asseveration that seemed inconsonant within the context in which it was written. And when Jill Turner-Mull recently read the statement, she was—initially—rendered speechless. Detective Pruett averred that:
Jill said the jacket was absolutely not in his car when she was dropped off.

CBD Oil Guide: Everything You Need to Know About CBD Oil

Cannabidiol, also called CBD, is one of the 113 identified active cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. The CBD oil is a chemical compound derived from the cannabis plant. CBD Oil has brought the medical field a long way, but there is still a lot of confusion about CBD. Therefore, below you can read everything you need to know before buying CBD oil.
CBD is one of the best-known chemical compounds in the cannabis plant, and unlike THC, CBD (and thus CBD oil) is not psychoactive. Therefore, you will not be distorted by the natural substance that makes the CBD a relaxing substance with no psychoactive side effects. The substances CBD and THC are not extracted directly from the cannabis plant, but the substances THCa and CBDa are extracted.
First and foremost, it is important to understand the relationship between CBD and CBD. CBD is the precursor to the CBD. When the cannabis plants grow, they produce both THCa and CBDa and not THC and CBD. These precursors in their crude form are often considered inactive, but when heated, e.g. By smoking, boiling or evaporation, they undergo a process called decarboxylation. Both THCa and CBDa are converted to THC and CBD because the decarboxylation cleaves the carbon dioxide.

The difference between CBD and CBD
Although CBD is considered inactive, this is not really the case. There is currently not much research on CBD, but it has been found that CBD has anti-inflammatory effects. CBD, on the other hand, has been explored in more detail and received much more scientific attention, which makes it more promising. CBD, like CBDa, has anti-inflammatory properties and CBD has a positive effect on chronic pain and appetite. Further useful information on the effect of CBD oil can be found at
Cannabis Oil CBD: How To Consume CBD Oil?
There are five common ways to consume CBD oil and, before you write it down, it should be mentioned that you should not eat or drink for 15 minutes after consuming the CBD oil. In this way, you get the optimal effect of the oils.
1. Oral uptake of CBD oil
When one speaks of consuming cannabis oil, one usually means the intake of the oil through the mouth. You take the oil orally by putting a drop of cannabis oil under the tongue and then swallowing it. Cannabis oil has a bitter, strong taste. If you can not sustain the taste for 15 minutes, rinse the cannabis oil with water or another type of non-alcoholic liquid. But if you want to get the optimal effect of the oil, avoid any kind of liquid for 15 minutes after ingestion.
2. Recording by evaporator / e-cigarettes
Another way to consume cannabis oil is with an evaporator or an e-cigarette. This releases the necessary substances and reduces the bad substances (toxins). For the best smoking experience, read the supplied Evaporator / E-Cigarette Guide as the cannabis oil must be heated to a certain temperature before use.
3. In food and drink
A very popular and well-known way to consume cannabis is through food. Often one speaks of hash cake, with the ingredient THC. Here we have another ingredient, CBD. You can also process the cannabis oil in a delicious cake.

4. In capsules
Some do not like the taste of cannabis oil at all, but for those people, there is a good alternative: capsules filled with cannabis oil. So your taste buds will not come into contact with the oil since it is in the capsule. Furthermore, capsules have the advantage that they always keep the exact dosage ready. Simply place the capsule in the mouth and rinse with a non-alcoholic liquid. However, you must keep in mind that the effect of the oil begins later since the capsule must first decompose.
5. In Pills
If the capsules cause nausea and/or abdominal pain, you can also take cannabis oil in the form of a pill. The benefit of consuming a pill is that the oil does not have to pass through the liver before it is passed through the body. There are other ways to consume cannabis oil, such as chewing gum extracts or pasta.

CBD Oil Dosage: How Much CBD Oil Should You Take?
It's hard to say how much CBD oil should be used, as there are a variety of factors that affect this amount. And for the sake of legislation, we can not tell you how much CBD oil you should consume. However, since CBD is not a psychoactive substance, you should try small doses at the beginning until you get the desired effect.
How fast does CBD work after taking it?
When the CBD oil is dripped under the tongue, the mucous membranes absorb the CBD Five and direct it into the circulatory system. Most people notice the side effects relatively early, and the desired effect is most likely to be felt during the first 14 days of ingestion if you ingest the oil daily.
https://www.youtube.com/watch? v = P8gU8jTmdYk
There is currently no guarantee that the CBD oil you buy contains no THC. But you can be sure that the oil does not exceed a value of 0.2 mg THC, which is permitted by law in Germany. The value of THC seems to minimize the need for more liters of oil before you experience a euphoric side effect in the form of a high.
CBD Oil Effects: What is it that helps CBD?
CBD oil has not reached its popularity because of its taste, but because of its analgesic effect on chronic pain.
CBD oil for pain and inflammation
CBD oil has a calming effect on pain and inflammation, and the greater the pain, the higher the CBD value of your oil should be. However, we do not recommend that you, as a beginner, directly use the strongest CBD oil for pain and inflammation.
CBD oil for fibromyalgia
As the Danish Fibromyalgia Association writes on its website about CBD oil, they indirectly recommend CBD oil for the relief of pain. However, this recommendation is given only indirectly because it works with both politicians, public authorities and health professionals. They have been fighting for legalization for some time, as it is currently illegal in Denmark to buy or sell CBD above a certain level.

CBD oil for arthritis
CBD oil for arthritis has a pain-relieving effect on the gout pain and thus acts as a natural painkiller.
CBD oil for sclerosis
CBD oil has an analgesic effect on sclerosis pain. It is very important to know that CBD oil does not cure illnesses but only counteracts the pain.
CBD oil for Parkinson's
https://www.youtube.com/watch? v = zNT8Zo_sfwo & has_verified = 1
In the clip, we meet Larry, a former police officer from the United States, who suffers from a severe Parkinson's disease, which gives him severe shocks and convulsions. For 20 years, Larry has tried countless Parkinson's drugs and has to admit that none of them worked. In the clip, he shows how CBD oil helps his muscles to relax. Just four minutes after taking it, Larry's breath can relax and control his body again. There are many documented videos on Youtube, with Parkinson's patients taking CBD oil for their illness.
Keep in mind that CBD oil does not cure Parkinson's disease but relaxes the person's body, relieves pain and stimulates the appetite. As soon as Larry no longer takes his CBD oil, he gets again violent convulsions.
CBD oil for migraine
If you suffer from migraines, you will certainly know the points in front of your eyes, dizziness and throbbing headaches that last for several hours and make you sleepy for a whole day. Really many use painkillers like parodies and other types of pills to relieve pain, but a lot of people have begun to use CBD oil for migraines.
Before using CBD Oil for migraines, keep in mind that people are different and that very few cases have been documented where migraine has deteriorated. Aggravated in the sense that during the time you use CBD oil, the migraine occurs more frequently than usual and thus no improvement is achieved. Do not be afraid and try CBD oil if you have migraines. In a majority of cases, the oil has a positive effect. You notice possible side effects within the first few days, and you will notice the positive effect within three weeks if you use CBD oil daily.
CBD oil and sleep
If you have trouble switching off and relaxing at night, which prevents you from falling asleep, CBD is a good recommendation for you. Due to its relaxing effect, it is best to take a dose at bedtime. If you use CBD oil for insomnia, it is important that you do not consume the CBD oil at bedtime. Take the oil in a few hours before and make sure you do not take too much because that will be yours

Search engine optimisation - How to Increase Your Rank for Google Search Engine Benefits
Google is at the foremost amongst all lookup engines, that a big volume of web end users are using to search for pertinent websites that Google returns for a certain keyword or keyphrase becoming used. So if you have to actually make your site very popular, that appeals to a huge quantity of prospective clients, then its critical you have to comply with particular set up Search engine optimization methods. Key phrases are the Key to Success of Your Site You have to find those search phrases that are relevant to the variety of concept or subject that you select for to promote products and companies from your website. You have to locate keywords that finds a very good many inquiry via the Google search box but not several internet sites are there that actually offers with that keyword. Now if you scan via these internet sites that are exhibited on the initial page of a Google Research for that keyword, you may possibly locate that there is not ample articles that throws mild on the search term or phrase employed. Listed here you can exploit, by producing inroads. Extremely Educational Articles Prosperous Sites Begin composing wealthy content that are highly educational and beneficial to the type of website visitors who are clicking their way into your site. Additionally keep your web site clean by writing a lot more contents, 2 times a week. Google loves articles that are fresh, scorching and crispy. Not stale kinds, churning in articles or blog posts that most internet sites have already dealt with in excess of and over once again, and standard site visitors have learnt them by coronary heart and does not need it any more. In truth Google is worried, that a excellent numerous high quality visitors are obtaining diverted from Google and as an alternative preferring other lookup engines above Google this sort of as Bing, to search for web sites that has prosperous content and very diverse from the crushed route. In a natural way the reduction of high quality site visitors will imply significantly less of profits earning for Google. That is why Google is hungry for fresh contents from related web sites, catering to a distinct marketplace segment or group. Satisfy Google's Hunger For Clean Content material That is why it is critical that just by catering to the specifications of a distinct market section or goal group won't suffice., You also acquired to search from Google's position of view way too. So write or outsource refreshing articles or blog posts, that are abundant in appropriate data and also in context to the key phrase, primarily based on which you want to obtain foothold as an set up web internet site to reckon with. The Relevance of Back again Back links for Your Site for Large Google Rating Now you want again back links too for your website. as for each the PageRank (Webpage stands for the name of Google co founder Larry Webpage) algorithm, back links are quite critical if a internet site needs to climb the greasy pole to Google look for end result page. A lot more inbound links a site have the much better it is. However quality one way links too count. In other words and phrases if a very established website has a website link in one of its webpages that points to your website then, the web site, as for every Google, has the deserves to occupy the first couple of slots of the first page for a offered research key phrase/phrase. Report Writing Article composing is one particular way of making your site popular, as creating in established article directories, support you to garner more back links that level to your web site. premium backlinks to boost rank are of program market discussion board internet sites, where you can lead often with your useful tips in the dialogue threads relating to your subject of experience and area of interest. That way you can send a lot more back again back links to your site, and thus deliver much more quality specific site visitors from the forum too. Blogs For much more again hyperlinks you can maintain blogs that too are material wealthy and has a back again url to your websites. This way you can increase the number of back back links. Of training course these are all hard work considering that you have to see that the website is routinely updated with wealthy search term dependent related material. Cease Making use of Flash and Graphics in Your Site Chorus from squandering your cherished time and cash in sprucing up your website with flash and graphics considering that the codes are not at all crawled by Google Spiders. So no position in adding individuals codes that Google barely pays interest to. Quit Your Website from Being Sluggish and Sluggish Google does not like individuals internet sites that are gradual and irritating to open rapidly. So do not use as well a lot of video clips and graphics that weighs down your internet site, and makes it open quickly. The Significance of HTML / XML Website Map before Publishing to Google and other Research Engines Yet another thing I desire to draw your attention is about the relevance of a web site map ideally XML website map. It is preferable even so to have each HTML and XML in the site root folder. The explanation is apparent given that diverse search engines have their personal preference. It is therefore quite critical that you have a web site map for each web sites prior to you post to Google. google booster can create a website map for free this sort of as http://www.auditmypc.com/totally free-sitemap-generator.asp. After you have developed your web site map you could then post it to Google. You will have a fair concept if you visit the website map of EzineArticles, which is ezinearticles.com/sitemap.html Stop Plagiarism by Duplicating Content from other Sites Plagiarism is illegal and is an offence for violation of copyright and mental property laws. Google also hates sites that thrives on duplicate content. So ensure that your site has material which is composed in first and no other site has the identical content word to phrase and sentence right after sentence. Material have to be of at least 250 terms Make certain your post is at the very least 250 words in every single webpage of your web site. Also your key phrases need to have to be set in the 1st 250 terms, since Google crawler scans only the first 250 words and phrases and on that foundation it checks the relevancy of the webpage for look for consequence. Keyword Density - Limit it to 2% - three% of whole content material. Use Only 2 to three keywords only Do not use too a lot of the very same search phrases more than and in excess of once more. It would be considered offensive by most lookup engines. The best is to limit it to three% of the general content material. Nevertheless it is prudent that you maintain it to simply 2 to 3 diverse key phrases by itself. Market Sites That has quite Minor Competition but has a Very good Need from Authentic Guests Do not switch your web site into some kind of a tremendous shopping mall, that sells from mouse to elephant all under 1 roof. Locate your niche that caters to a good section of the market place, lets say Area flipping. See that your area of interest is not previously crowded with as well many gamers in the industry. Consider these that has not also several gamers and you can be 1 of them, to combat you way to the top in the Google Lookup Motor rankings, by catering to only a selected clientele. Hope the details offered to you listed here in this write-up will support you to get commenced for a productive job in web advertising and marketing and good results from websites that you make them rewarding employing Search engine optimisation techniques. This is how you can boost the ranking of your web site by Google Research Engines.

Hi Kaila, i like you and i know it's your blog and you can do whatever you want and i'm sorry to say this but, why do you focus on things you don't like ? Like why react to what some larries say when a lot of them are hoping and praying for Louis to be free as well (because yeah larries aren't just one unique mindset) ? It makes you sound like an anti and i really can't stand that. I know you won't change just for my sake but sometimes i really don't understand how your thoughts are working.
I really appreciate how polite this is lol so thanks for that. For starters though, yes I agree with you not all larries are the same, I know there’s a lot of reasonable, chill ones still, I’m friends with them, I follow a bunch of them. My complaints are mostly about the super vocal ones, the bigger blogs that set the tone for everyone else. Idk what to tell you about the rest of your message tbh, it’s hard /not/ to focus on things I don’t like because there’s nothing good happening for Louis right now, I have limited options here. Sometimes I’m just driven to frustration by what I see and I make a vent post about it, which I probably shouldn’t do but in the heat of the moment shit just flies out of my mouth lol (although I have nasty anons in my inbox that I’ve been ignoring like a real mature person so please give me kudos for that! This is subject to change later today depending on my mood). I don’t really care if I sound like an anti or whoever. I could write a short essay about this but I don’t want to open myself up to more anons that would twist my words, although if u wanna chat off anon I’m happy to do that! I’m just so fed up with people screaming about how larries are always winning when.. they’re not. It’s insulting to Louis. Imagine saying that to his face while he’s on a reality show, next to Simon, not making music, with E in the crowd and a fake baby in LA. Where’s the win in that? Harry getting rid of a pinky ring doesn’t count as a win for them as a couple. Their situations are so wildly far apart I can’t comprehend being excited about one to the point of calling it a win. It deserves a “oh that’s nice for him” and nothing more. The over-the-top excitement just really gets to me lately, i dunno. To steal someone’s words from yesterday.. it’s tone deaf. Like if one of my sisters got a job promotion and the other was in a car accident I’m not gonna be squealing about the promotion. They don’t deserve the same attention. One clearly takes precedence. But I know for a lot of people this fandom is their entertainment so they justify their reactions and sure fine whatever so be it. I should try to take that into account more often but it’s frustrating to witness, I guess because this isn’t my place for fun and happiness, I get that elsewhere in life so I can’t relate to their need to come online and only see fun happy things. I’m a Louie first and foremost and if things are bad for him I don’t have it in me to try and pick out the good crumbs from the pile of shit, i don’t see the point in that. I apologize for being obnoxious and annoying lately, seriously. I’ve just snapped a bit and run out of patience but I’ll try to tone it down I promise 😋

Megapost Nr. 4 - May 17th 2018
Nonny Nr. 1: Anon - skeptic since 2014 This purple minion aka the greatest Ophie, queen of Pillows of all time made my entire day😂😂 from now on - all her photos - i will be imagining only this ! 👏
Anna: I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself Nonny. My aim first and foremost is for all of us to have a good laugh while Ben is still trying to sell the unsaleable showmance to the general public.
*
Nonny Nr. 2: I want 5 unblurred pics of the kids that show clearly its the same kids in each shot. oh wait, can't do that, can we ben? oh dear
Anna: Ben CAN do that Nonny. I’ve basically drawn the Intern a diagram on HOW to go about achieving it. The problem is he can’t be bothered to put the effort and money in...
*
Nonny Nr. 3: OF COURSE no kids. better put out that casting call! make sure you blurr their faces! just pay to fly w them you two losers, its not hard
Anna: There’s a tiny bit of a problem with blurred faces on pap walks Nonny: the entertain us more than they convince the general public this is a real family. And when they don’t even get picked up by the Fail (who have to blur them out to begin with), the whole thing becomes even more ridiculous. Especially when Weirdo is smiling at the paparazzi who are invading her precious offsprings’ privacy...
*
Nonny Nr. 4: I saw a BI about another couple recently were they pretended to look mad at the paps, but called them every time. this is the same for these two. pretend to be mad, but conveniently the pap know right where to be right when they want us to tune in and shell out money. always. the. same.
Anna: Like I said to Nonny Nr. 1 from Megapost Nr. 1 earlier today, this is Ben’s default setting when Weirdo is within a five foot radius Nonny. He has to make an effort to smile when she’s standing / walking next to him. I doubt he could be bothered to make that effort and smile for the paps after an 8 hour trip from London...
*
Nonny Nr. 5: SO funny that the paps are ONLY ever around when his wife is there, hmm? oh, but this marriage is totes not a pr stunt for publicity.
Anna: It is rather interesting that the last time Ben was spotted by the paparazzi at an airport it was back on the 6th of August 2016 when he hired a paparazzo to take a sneaky pic of him that they were trying to pass off as a fan pic when he was leaving Heathrow alone, then he was photographed by the the paparazzi at LAX arriving alone being very cordial to the airport staff, then one day later Weirdo showed up at Malibu and we had a pap walk extravaganza where the paps spotted them the minute they stepped out of the hotel they were staying at, followed them to the shopping district and took pics of them driving down the road, then took pics of them walking around shopping, then followed them back to the hotel, took a few more pictures as they unloaded the car, and then they weren’t spotted by paps again until Ben showed up at LAX alone (again), was phtoographed and taped by the paparazzi signing autographs and being lovely to Marvel fans, and travelled back to London and was photographed by paparazzi at Heathrow alone again.
I guess that was a different time and Ben was peddling a different narrative :D
*
Nonny Nr. 6: CCC is too old. he may be in pre school. ppl will recognise him from his real life, so they cant show him. showing his face in the US is too risky, blurring is too obvious. they will have to do it in the UK so they can blurr the face so no one can see who the kid really is
Anna: That is a very interesting point Nonny. A VERY interesting point indeed!
*
Nonny Nr. 7: quick! PR! get sophie to the airport so it doesn't look like ben is an asshole who makes his wife fly separately and shows they live together! oh wait...FUCK THE KIDS!
Anna: Tisk tisk Nonny. LANGUAGE!
*
Nonny Nr. 8: @messanon totally nailed it with the REALLY? post. For anyone who can't stomach the BCBS that PR continues to post as a steady diet for nans and antis, read what skeptics who've outlasted and outwitted them all have to say. But check out the Antis (erm PR) here on Tumblr too, just to have a better understanding of how PR works. It will help you understand how fakery works. And it's worth a laugh.
Nonny Nr. 9: Hi Anna. Are the antis all sockpuppets? They all talk the same. Do you think they are PR?
Anna: I don’t think Antis are PR. They’re not smart enough for me to assume otherwise... But yes, they do have lots and lots and lots of sockpuppet accounts. Especially the angriest one among them ;o)
*
Nonny Nr. 10: Oh Anna, so many funny things going on: 'Why can’t you smile when walking next to your wife?' He's under the illusion that if he acts like they're being hounded/annoyed by the paps -that they called themselves btw- makes it look more real. 'Don’t you know wearing sunglasses indoors makes everyone except Jack Nicholson look like a douche?' Or as Larry David said: 'Blind & douchebags wear sunglasses indoor'.
Anna: So hounded, much smug smiling at the floor. Ben has to realise it would look better if they appear to talk to each other every once in a while during a pap walk, making it seem like they’re lost in their own world, not paying attention to the pesky paps. After all, they’re such a power couple that attracts so much attention every time they step out of the house, that they must have grown used to it by now, no? :P

Yandere Larry and sal when Travis is unknowingly flirting and being flirted with

Basically what’s about to happen to Travis/Whoever flirts with Travis.
We’ve already established that base game Sal and Lar are menaces to anyone encroaching on their baby. But god save whoever even looks at Travis with Yan! Sal and Lar.
First and foremost, the brawn’s and they pent up aggression of Larry would definitely be put to work at the gym. One? He follows Travis to the gym, and watching the cute lil thing trot on the treadmill while he pumps iron has lead him down a very muscled path. (And he likes to flex when Travis is near. The attention gives him a nice lil confidence boost).
So we have a tall, heavily pierced and tatted meat head. Who is often handsy with Travis in the first place. If Travis doesn’t reciprocate immediately he just waits and tries to take it slow. If some other man garners Travis affection? They will have to be ‘removed’. I wouldn’t put it past Larry to straight up snatch Travis off the streets, just to keep him away from any possibly threats. Travis was HIS and he would do anything to keep him safe. Including murder.
If he does manage to get Travis’ affection, he’s through the moon. The crazy doesn’t show for a good minute. Leaving Travis time to fall into the honey pot of Larry’s love. And Larry loves to spoil his baby, especially if they are attention starved and weak to gentle affection. He knows a lot of quirks in Travis to have him melt in his arms, and he uses that to his advantage. Isolate and secure. Now if there’s a chance that someone tries to show affection to Travis or even just try to suggest anything to Travis in a sexual manner, Larry will know. The chip on Travis’ phone records everything. Larry will deal with that man as violently as necessary to spread the word.
Don’t fuck with Travis.
Sal is a different case. He’s more brains than brawn. He can play into Travis’ insecurities and interests. Travis likes fashion? Sal knows a showing coming up! Travis wants a pet? Sal found a local shelter having a free adoption day!
Travis has been a target of Sals for years. Travis wouldn’t even know it. He’d feel terrible for the bullying, but Sal just accepts him so openly because Sal has been craving him since day one.
Travis doesn’t notice things going missing at first. He’s always been clumsy with his items. One of the reasons Kenneth would beat him. Brushes, some clothing, even jewelry would go missing. Travis would hope it turns up randomly but is just happy to still have necessities.
Then the gifts started. Flowers on his door step. Packages of things he wanted but couldn’t afford. Food on days he had no money to get groceries or order take out. Medicine if he was sick and out of pills. He’s scared and cries to Sal about it, not noticing the disappointment Sal had to see the gifts resort Travis to such a state.
“You don’t like them?”
“No! I’m so scared! How do they know so much! They pick everything I want and make sure it’s just right. They know my SIZE Sal!! I.. I think I have to move..”
Travis doesn’t even know the gears that turned instantly. Sals welcoming arms into the nice house. The soft fur of gizmo was no trick, but the warm tea laced with a sedative was his demise.
Sal would confiscate Travis from the world once he could weasel Travis into the right spot. There wouldn’t be a chance for some peasant to lay eyes on his princess. Travis would be confined safely in a nice little house with a pretty cottage. He would get everything his little heart desires. Everything but a world without Sal.
Bonus:
The red eyed demon fusing into the boys would make shit ten times worse. It’s like Venom but the demon just wants to eat people and watch the boys use their powers to stalk, capture and keep Travis. And maybe other uses. I don’t know, depends on the demons range of power
#travis phelps#sally face#sally face au#larry johnson#sal fisher#larry x travis#larvis#laravis#salvis#sal x travis#sally face headcanons#sally face hcs#sally face ask#Sal is the deadly one#he doesn’t allow his prey to have peace#he wears Travis down until the boy is clinging to him and begging for freedom#and when Travis thinks those pretty little tears will get his way#he just gets dragged back in to the spiderweb of Sal Fisher#Larry’s brutish appearance plays well when he’s scaring off rivals#Travis laughs about having scary dog privelges when they hang out#Larry chuckles knowing his little bunny is just hopping slowly into his den#the boys are like ‘Your Boyfriend’ level deranged though#staring out the bedroom window randomly#sometimes seeing things that Travis would never let anyone watch#100% they merked Kenneth to get Travis to themselves#if they work together??? Rip Travis#they’d waste no time getting a nice and secluded little home#away from town with enough distance from neighbors to not hear Travis scream#he’s their pretty little princess and he must stay safe#the nasty men outside would eat him alive

The Harold Hunter Foundation—named after famed NYC skater Harold Hunter, who passed away in 2006—is a New York City-based nonprofit that provides safe spaces and resources for skateboarders to develop professional and life skills, inside and outside Network skateboarding outside, and, of course, skate. Co-founder Jessica Forsythe was a close friend of Harold and part of Larry Clark’s skateboarding culture. children. He also filmed parts in her childhood home, then a safe place and refuge for the NYC skateboarding community. Reflecting on the itinerant existence of these OG NYC skaters in the ’90s and early ’00s, Jessica said, “They had no skate parks, no cell phones. It was like ragtag lost boys roaming the streets all night.” had a small community.”
Olu Stanley speaks in New York City about skateboarding with a bravery that I’ve learned is the norm, even necessary. “Just standing here in the courthouse, being skaters, we had to fight almost all the time,” says the foundation’s coach and mentor, standing outside the courthouse on East 161 Street in the Bronx. “They looked at us like, oh that’s some blond white boy, they’re soft. Let’s fuck with them. We had to fight to tell them, we come from where you come from.”
For me, a skateboarder who grew up in San Diego and Los Angeles, unlike skateboarding in NYC—actually skating in the cut—was frustrating. I was unprepared for the time you were on the streets, navigating between cars, over crevices and potholes, nor, at my first home in town – at the corner of Bedford and Nostrand, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn — Did I expect the attention of the neighborhood that a skateboard would bring you.
“For me being a kid, growing up in the Bronx was different,” Olu says, “I felt like a target because of the skateboard, it was not a good thing to do, the hood was not accepting it. “
Damien Lopez Jr., another skater at the foundation, tells me about a skater growing up in the Bronx, sipping a cappuccino in a thrash pair of Air Jordan 1 “Royal Blues” resting on a Palace Chevy Cannon deck. “Being in the hood, I used to be in the streets,” he said, “kids would call me gay and stuff, and I was like it’s fire because girls are loving it.”
For so many kids, skateboarding became a means of escaping a home that didn’t approve of riding this piece of wood, learning their city in depth, and exploring the boundaries at the crossroads of physiology, physics, and simple bravado. do. “Honestly, that piece of wood put me out of my neighborhood,” Olu says. “Being a teenager, I was either going to play ball in the hood, and then I was going to be in the hood, probably doing shit later.” He paused to admit to a young skater who was trying to hit the 50-50 curb near our group, “Or I can get on a skateboard and learn something that not everyone else is doing.” is.”
“The Bronx, the messy part I live in, is really messy,” Damien says, before changing his tone to more historical heroics and continuing, “I wanted skateboarding to take me out. I’m only 19. I’m trying to build my crib or something so that I can create, make music, make art.

Despite her roots in the most defining era of NYC skateboarding, Jessica left it behind in 1991 to pursue an education focused on mental health and psychology, earning a doctorate in counseling psychology. “By the time I got into skateboarding back in 2000, people were famous, too cool for school, and head-to-toe in Supreme.” Skateboarding was suddenly in the public eye; They suddenly became fashionable.
“In the hood, I saw crazy boys and girls walking around with baggy pants,” Damien says, “the skate fit I would wear in 2016-2017 when I was going to the flea market with my dad to buy basic cargo pants.”
“Now people watch Street League, and they see Nyja Huston killing it while making a pot of gold for himself,” Olu says. “So now Hood can see why you do it because you can get money.”
Despite skateboarding being at the Olympics, effectively cementing the rebellious pursuit as a mainstream sport, a skater must still push through town, perform tricks in public places, on public property, and Sometimes private spaces must be encroached upon, or as Damien describes it, “nonsense bullshit”. “Skaters are bad, doing bad things in here, you know, leather jackets and stuff,” he laughs, “but we’re not really doing the right thing because I’m skating down a street where people don’t want to eat. are trying and they see it as making noise.”

Greg Simmons, a Brooklyn artist and coach of the Harold Hunter Foundation, reflects on the skaters he grew up with. “I know a whole bunch of ’90s skaters who were young and just getting paid seven-day weekends, but nothing within the skate community to get them a job. So they all fell; Some got addicted to drugs or stopped skating.”
This is where Jessica got her chance. She recognized the characteristics of the skater’s character – the passion to pull off the trick by any means, and a relentless longing for freedom afforded to them by their skateboards – and sought to find ways to keep them skating while providing them with sustainable opportunities to live. Looked for Work, and thrive. In it, she found that the pursuit of work and education in ordinary ways was particularly and uniquely difficult for many skaters. First, were the skateboarding community of the city and the demographics of the many skaters in the neighborhood. “If you go to any gathering of skaters from all over New York and look around, you will see more black or brown skaters with hoods than anyone else,” Olu says.
The Harold Hunter Foundation became a place in the community for skaters to find positive uses of their energy, whether it is to mentor other skateboarders, find work within the industry, or use their creativity to pursue a career in another field. Be through finding ways. In addition, they were able to find opportunities in spaces and places that they would not otherwise feel are due, first and foremost, to the color of their skin.

Jessica understood the mind of a skateboarder and wanted to create a “transformative place to educate” them. These were places of development that worked dynamically with the way skaters walked and thought. “These were the places skaters weren’t going to get to college or being so cool on their own merits. These kids are really cool, but that’s not the only thing getting them through the door. Raw talent and creativity only went so far. Because so many circumstances put him out of the mainstream.”
The Harold Hunter Foundation brings together a community of skaters and professionals who provide resources to support skating, but also the ups and downs of life and the flow of navigating professional workspaces. Yet, importantly, they remain authentic to their unique culture. “We needed real ways to communicate,” Jessica says. “These are the skateboarders in the street, after all.”
This is what makes the Harold Hunter Foundation so important. They’re really taking so many NYC skaters and taking them to places they never knew or thought they weren’t. Compared to the polished skating mecca of Southern California, I found the rigors and rigors of skating in NYC beautiful and even romantic. There’s nothing quite like being pushed from place to place on the narrow, rough, and bumpy streets of New York City. You have to be fast, smart and flexible. Because of this, NYC skaters need a passage through and through the door in order to do anything.
Or, as Olu put it, “If you know how to get around in New York, you know how to get around anywhere else in the world.”
