today's maomao shoot was a success!!! ₍^. .^₎⟆
spent my entire week prepping (and stressing) for this shoot so i would've been rly bummed out if we had to postpone the shoot bc of bad weather. while we could not avoid the destiny that was bestowed upon us by the weather forecast, we were, fortunately, able to get quite a few shots before the rain came down.

In case you wondered why I've been a bit quiet this week (apart from being sick), I was hanging out at the Afterlife with my old friend Johnny!
But no xD I had the pleasure to have gotten invited to a CDPR cosplay community event yesterday and took my 75% finished Mullet Kerry for a test run 😁 Once again I was floored by how amazingly creative and loving and supportive this community is irl as well, met friends again, met fantastic new people and had an amazing and inspiring day \o/

i watched arcane, said literally everything people reference as romantic between jayce and viktor is stuff that could have happened between jinx and vi, and then decided to intentionally put on my shipping blinders and become super invested in jayvik anyway
every time anyone else was on screen, I'd be like "this is cool and important yeah sure uh huh anyway what's viktor doing rn"
as someone who knew nothing about league. not where I thought it would end up if I'm being honest

#FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS..........#just put on the main pieces cos. i was scared id have all the pieces but not be able#to put them on. BUT I COULD!!!!!!!! #lemon man talks#Gay people can never cosplay normal characters it’s always goat guy from a music video of a depressing ass song#They have like 3 images aside from the mv and look slightly different in each one#The liberties I can take with this design are crazy /hj#Like. It’s a simple design and wouldn’t be that hard to cosplay but also#This is one of the most random characters I could’ve possibly chosen to cosplay#Since I’ve only started cosplay and have one (1) cosplay so far I think a simple design like this would be nice for a second one#I get to practice wig styling (I had a LOT of help from my friend with my basil wig. She basically styled it for me.)#I get to learn how to make little props like the tail and horns#And it’d be a cool cosplay to try with contacts for the first time#Basil should’ve technically had contacts but my parents didn’t let me buy them and I was also kinda scared of it#I’ve never worn contacts#Not even prescription ones besides hating wearing glasses sometimes#Contacts are just scary#I shall consider it
