There's a part of me that wants to believe that after Luke went to America, Layton started taking Flora along with him to solve mysteries. I know that he probably didn't (judging by his track record of literally finding any excuse to leave her behind), but I so strongly believe in the Flora-Layton duo. I need it to be real

Unenlighted: Sky and Wild don't have that good of a relationship due to Sky's guilt and Wild not feeling he's good enough when compared to any of his predecessors because he failed the kingdom once and it gets exacerbated by the events of TOTK, similar case with Flora and Sun.

Enlightened: Sky and Wild have a pretty good relationship, but it's still strained because of both their problems and the strain grows bigger after TOTK when Fi breaks, Sun likes Flora just fine as a descendant while Flora is incessantly tormented by the fact she always believed her entire life she'd never measure up to the other Zelda's because she couldn't fulfill her duty anymore than Wild could, and it causes communication.

Ascended: Sky and Twilight having a full blow custody war in the back because they both see Wild as a better successor than he believes himself to be due to the parallels to BOTW, TOTK and Skyward Sword even though it's technically Twilight Princess' spiritual sucessor (since it was originally made to be a sequel to that game) and Sky and Wild both get along well with one another, and instead of getting angry at Wild for breaking Fi he's more so worried for him and her equally (and then has to be held back by the rest of the Chain along with Twi to not eviscerate whatever's left of Ganondorf's body) meanwhile Sun all but surprise adopted Flora as a sister and is super supportive of all her pursuits and number one hype woman because she was as unhinged as her at her age and Flora is flabbergasted but really really happy and relieved she doesn't see her as a disappointment or anything and they get along like the sister she never had growing up. Specially since they can both bond over not being quite regular humans anymore and can help one another deal and learn more about it.

21. What is their worst memory together?

now this is a great question because these bitches suffered more than jesus but. id say DYING was a pretty bad memory!!! yeah!!! getting hunted for sport and dying and feeling their joint body be disintegrated on the most fundamental level as they try to separate the corrupted fragment from the rest before it reaches their vital organs!!! that was pretty bad i think!!!

22. When were they the most vulnerable with each other?

this is a very interesting thing 2 me because like. helix and flora always have been Very vulnerable with each other..... during descension arc, more out of Necessity. flora is a malevolent entity living in helixs body and aware of their every move, so its not like they have a choice to keep Anything from her, really, but. it goes the other way too..... flora has barely began to Exist and shes only really becoming a person and everything she does is contextualized by helixs life. and that pretty much continues throughout schicksal arc, with the exception that flora is no longer Profoundly Evil and allows helix privacy. its just that helix doesnt have a Need for privacy from her? the line between which experience is whose blurs together at that point. they have their own thoughts and opinions and theyre Separate, but every single moment of their lives is spent together, and they feel the same pain..... to the point it cant even be called vulnerability because thats just how they Are. all the time. complete insight into the others psyche not out of an invasion of privacy, but out of complete trust to let the other have that insight. [this Backfires when theyre separated and suddenly, a massive blank spot appears in each and every aspect of their everyday lives. for flora especially.]

27. How far would they go for each other? Would they risk their own lives for each other?

they WOULD and they HAVE. i mean. once again coming back to their Goddamn Outbreak but it shines sooooo so well there..... helix feels every inch of their body be torn asunder and can barely see through the pain and still tears off their arm, because if they didnt, floras herrscher core would be destroyed. theyd suffer no real damage. theyd live. but flora wouldnt so whats the point!!! and flora, flora takes over their body and becomes a caricature of herself- and laughs and taunts people as if she truly was evil- just so that when the dust settles, if they dont manage to get away, shell be the one they blame and not helix. helix, if it were up to flora, would be rid of their sins and hailed an innocent martyr....

26. How would these characters react to being stuck in a small room with each other?

VERY much depends on which arc we're considering.

schicksal arc? they could manage it Zero problem. they HAVE managed it zero problem! for three years! helix genuinely likes charlie, and at that point, charlie may not like them [<- biggest understatement Ever] but she RESPECTS them. and she's very professional!!!! she WILL bitch and moan about it internally [and externally off duty] but like. charlie is actually a very Reasonable person at that point. theyre going to like. talk about the weather, or recent missions. or sit in complete silence each of them doing their own thing.

entanglement arc? helix is getting all of their limbs torn off one by one. well except for the one they already lost. theyre not fucking fighting back either that robot is Straight out of the hospital and barely alive.

pilgrimage arc....... now THIS is where shit starts getting INTERESTING. pilgrimage arc charlie & helix are fucking WEIRD. because for a Large part of it, being Stuck In A Small Room With Each Other is. pretty much just their reality. both literally and metaphorically. they are around each other All The Time... just cause they. have to. so like theyll both come out of it Alive but its definitely not going to be the superficially polite sort of interaction that it was in schicksal arc.

my fav thing abt the 1933 invisible man movie is the fact kemp and griffin actually are actively working/employed together there. i kinda rlly wish there was a flashback sequence wit them before griffin did the experiment that showed off their dynamic more (cus they weren't implied to be inexplicably close before in the book, but i mean here they Had to be around eachother). i cant tell if griffin was supposed to have Actually genuinely believed he and kemp were friends there before he started going off the rails . does feel like he liked him a little sometimes but how much of that was also just him Messing with him lol (or literally just saying things)
