@resourceextraction this Artist book is a photographic project I’ve been working on for the past few years while I go fly fishing in the pacific north west. I stumbled across these clear cut sites while hiking into spots to fish. I felt inspired to respond to the scenes and began photographing the sites with a medium format camera. This accordion fold artist book depicts a site along the Sol Duc river in Washington state. I found the site while my friend Andy and I were Steelhead fishing. The slip cover is the satellite image of the site downloaded from google earth.
