i had a list somewhere at one point and it was a lot of small funny, things like: - stabbing maps ( cullen ) - being called child of the stone ( solas ) - breaking his pen nibs ( sera ) - moving the books on his table ( josie )

and then i have the in the hard ones for like da2/dai/wolf hunt related tasks

- we did actually start the fire ( the gallows ) - we actually didn't do a murder ( tethras estate ) - what do you mean red lyrium is bad, im leaving it alone? (everywhere) - would you like me to yell at this dwarf for you? ( the hinterlands, underground ) - I have fallen, and I cannot get up ( the missing, also datv )

Do you have any ideas of how Min-su's character might develop in season 3? Which is the worst? Why is it VIP Min-su? If he DOES go evil do you think it's possible to make fitting?

as for development, i honestly only see two main paths that Min-su’s character can follow from where we’ve seen him last. which was cowering in a bunk.

the first being: he doesn’t change. he doesn’t magically grow balls with which to help him stand up for himself, and he dies pathetically. rather unsatisfying and totally lame, but director Hwang has said that Min-su is supposed to be a realistic depiction of just some guy taking part in the games. realistically, Min-su would continue being the coward he is and die tragically in a game or at the hands of someone more determined.

second: he DOES fight back! although he is meant to be realistic, this is still a show. it’s meant to be entertaining and, in the case of any show with a message, should make you reflect. what’s there to reflect on if a character just gives up and dies? boo!!! lame!! also, a character growing a spine in a drama is a completely expected character arc, so i’m leaning more towards this path. however, considering the state of him in recent trailers and sneak peaks, i could be totally off the mark.

more specific things i expect from his character this coming season is he’ll become even MORE desperate. and thanks to these screenshots below that you sent me, i know these expectations were spot on! but really. Min-su being pathetic. who’s surprised about that. i wonder what “side” he’s referring to here. maybe he will become a little more aggressive for the sake of self-preservation?

Min-su is a clinger. he is going to latch onto the closest person he has available, and then do whatever necessary to survive from there on out. but who else does he even have that he can consider “allies”? upon being welcomed to the TANOS WORL, he was essentially cut off from making bonds with any other player. this leaves us with:

i only take Myung-gi into slight consideration because of his interactions with Team Thanos in episode 6. but seeing Min-su only voting O in his promotional pictures leads me to believe the chances of them forming a more official allyship is low.

and who else would he vote O for if not Nam-gyu? Min-su has no REAL motive to stay in the game, only motive to survive. he might believe that, despite their tension, the only person he can really clutch onto for protection is his final remaining teammate. besides, Os outnumber X by a considerable amount after the rebellion, so it’s the safe choice. i can see Nam-gyu keeping him around just to be a buffer, power in numbers line of thinking. but the tension between them is sure to snap eventually. speaking of, i am incredibly curious to see where that bloody dampness on his sleeve came from… perhaps a necessary retaliation? he is on the red team, after all.

also, in the image below we see Min-su’s chess piece just before Nam-gyu’s in jump rope. intentional on the characters’ end (alliance) or just happenstance for the sake of plot, i’m unsure. but if it in fact IS intentional, i count that as an extra point for team team-up. i also like the theory that Nam-gyu is gesturing to Min-su in those new pictures of him acting like a freak. could be him making an O symbol with his arms, just to freak him out and make sure he stays aware of the agreement their alliance hinges on.

and i know this may pain some of yall to hear, but Nam-gyu will…. probably die. pause to allow for screams of agony. especially if that snug little grasp the guard has on his chess piece above is anything to go off of. if the two of them do end up teaming up, his death will impact min-su heavily. both in the sense that he’s, again, at a severe disadvantage without someone to depend on, and the deterioration of his mental state. at that point, he’d have lost ALL of his original teammates. even if you don’t care too much about the people you’re surrounded with, having your entire group die around you is bound to take a toll on your mental wellness. i might be too unsupportive of him, but i just can’t see him making it to the final few on his own. if they DO both make it to the end, i’d like to see how their arc could be tied up neatly from that point. could they reconcile? i doubt it. i feel like at least one of them is gonna bite the dust.

worst possible outcome for his character? vip Min-su and you KNOW it. i’ve always found that theory incredibly silly, although i do get the hype behind the meek character faking their timid nature. however, this theory has no real evidence. it isn’t even a contender in the possibilities for his character.

if Min-su turns “evil” youll find me clutching my stomach and doubling over in laughter in front of the TV. i can’t see it being done in a way that is good or enjoyable. but i suppose if he DID, i would assume it results from being pushed too far for too long. like a catharsis thing. but i can’t find myself really taking that very seriously.

anyways, that's all i can think of for now. i cant wait for HDH to subvert my expectations entirely and make me look like a fool :)
