Couldn’t stop thinking about Dust being able to pass as Classic. So I had an idea where Dust replaces Classic in a timeline and steals(?) his partner.

He gets conflicted when he starts actually caring about you… But denial is an easy road to take when there’s seemingly no consequences to your actions.

The reveal i guess. Most normal reaction to learning your partners been replaced for god knows how long and you have no clue where he is.

Now that I think about it I might’ve gotten some inspiration from that one chapter of IJAG by @htsan (iykyk) only a lil bit tho

the cringe i was alluding to aka horus and my 40ksona, he holds him like a big chicken

stupid facts about them under the cut if you want

horus and this little freak met when the vengeful spirit literally sailed into his side after getting lost in the warp. annoyed at his millennia long nap being cut short syro was too tired to truly smite down the vessel and instead lead them back on track to their destination. horus seeing this as a kind gesture offered the strange beast a permanent napping spot on the vengeful spirit, much to everyone else’s dismay and concern. so throughout the 30th millennia he stayed along side horus as a cherished partner, later becoming a source for guidance for the mournival, to everyone else he’s basically horus’ big warp dog that freaks people out.

after horus’ death he doesn’t actually do anything, just vanishes back into the warp, occasionally aiding abaddon without him knowing. he still cares just reverts back into the warp beast he was before horus found him.

none of the other primarchs are thrilled with his now looming presence, mentally questioning if horus is either being mind controlled by him or has fully just lost his shit. syro’s not a big fan of them either, finding them to be more of an annoyance than anything, and has on multiple occasions fucked with their navigation so they get lost.

he doesn’t actually need to eat food but horus makes the share meals together which lead to syro discovering he’s partial to cheese. so now space marines will try to sneak him some when horus isn’t looking to gain his favor.
