This is a painting from a drawing I did at the last batik workshop in preparation of our big piece. Progress pic #5. Another layer of acrylic paints and more detail. I left it to dry overnight. There is more work to be done on it, and have already started on another wax fabric painted illustration. ( Pics to follow anon) Am thinking of making a few to sell. Spent ages working out how to include a closure in my waxed illustration cushion cover. Let it sit for a bit. Back on it now, and since everything so far has been hand stitched, I feel it must be finished that way entirely - even for putting in the zip.
