shinwon is SUCH a good performer but not in the classic kpop performer sense. You can tell that he’s watched a lot of western artists performances and has really found his own way and that he has a lot of musicality in the way that he moves to the rythm. He isnt a flashy dancer, you can definitely tell the difference between him and hui in that hui is definitely more trained when it comes to choreography but shinwon still has a naturalness in the way that he moves and the fact that he enjoys being on stage and enjoys this more freespired kind of performance (in contrast with their more strictly choreographed stages) is really visible. And when you think about how one direction were one of his biggest inspirations in his early days as an artist and during his trainee days, this really does make sense, especially viewing this as a former 1d-fan, i can definitely recall some of this same energy from harry styles when he performed as 1d.
