Oh yeah, I think there's gonna be a total solar eclipse on the 8th right? Are you going to go see it? (Sadly it's not nearby for me and I didn't prepare but this one should be really close to you right?)

Yep, I'm right in the path of totality! Don't even have to leave home to see it. Unfortunately, it's forecasted to be cloudy on the 8th, and, to make matters worse, the eclipse is going to be when I would usually be asleep since I work nights. I think I'll try and see it anyway; I hear there's still a noticeable effect even if it's cloudy, and who knows? Maybe I'll get lucky and the clouds will part enough that I can see the whole thing.

If I miss this one, I guess I'll have to get ready to go to Spain or Egypt lol. I don't know when we'll get another total eclipse over Texas. The last one was in 1878, and the next eclipse over the US isn't for twenty years, and it's going to be closer to Canada than Texas. There'll also be another one in 2045 that will be closer, but it still won't pass over Texas.

Hey, more fun (jk it's terrible) stuff tumblr did.

Tumblr is allowing AI to use our posts and they made everyone automatically opt in. So for each blog you have to manually opt out in the visibility section.

So like a warning/reminder for the stuff you made/reblogged.

I'll make sure to turn that on. When I checked yesterday, that toggle wasn't there. Hopefully it is now. If you're going to keep posting here, it's probably a good idea to glaze/nightshade your art anyway, since it sounds like that toggle only applies to the AI that tumblr isn't partnering with (and also, there's no guarantee any of them will respect your decision to opt out anyway).

Ok yep I believe tumblr's probably gonna kick it super soon. I don't think I actually have the space to back up my accounts here but honestly, I'm not really attached to whatever I reblogged (and I still have my art). But yeah I'm on bluesky (and artfight, toyhouse, sheezyart) under freshfragrantegg (assuming I'd use them more lol)

Hi, I'm a little confused on buying the physical copy of the coloring book on Etsy. For BigCartel, the physical copy by itself comes with the digital copy and is 25$. Is this the same with the Etsy one because it has the same price but didn't state having a digital copy.

Hello! No problem! If you look through the description on Etsy, you'll see that it does in fact include the Digital versions (PDF/PSD files + Merch) of the zine (screenshot below)
