Gabbi: Meh, it’s alright!

Retro-2: How was the northern hemisphere?

Retro: Cold. Really, really cold.

Gabbi: Hey, uh, guys? I don’t mean to alarm everyone but, the zoroark is gone.

Freyja: When did that happen!?

Gabbi: I dunno, but I don’t think he would’ve gotten very far!

Retro: Everyone spread out and search for him. If he’s moved recently then he should still be within Junkatorium!

Oguno: Avani, my darling! We meet again!

Avani: In much different circumstances than I’d like, but yes. Can I ask why you’re doing this? Pursuit of power? Revenge? Why?

Oguno: Ooh, asking one question before you attempt to fight me? How polite~ I’ll indulge you this one last time. I seek power, but only because I can. I have the ability, I have tools to make myself more powerful in many ways, so I do. Does that answer your question, darling?

Avani: It certainly does, but I only ask to buy Freyja enough time to escape.

Freyja: Disagreements like this are common, and I really wish they weren’t. They all end predictably enough, though. She’ll see that I’m right in time. She’s always a bit hot-headed.

Freyja: Organize.

Hey! Everyone here, listen up!

We may be down a Zygarde, but that’s not gonna stop us from fixing the problems of both universes. I somewhat agree that ours takes priority, but we shouldn’t completely ignore our refugees’ situation either.

Azrael, burned one.

Azrael-2: Yes, Lady Freyja?

Freyja: Is it possible for me to wish for two things with one wish?

Azrael-2: Fire Away!

Freyja: I wish for two eggs, one containing Dhatri, another containing a version of Yarajya without her mutation. 

Azrael-2: Easy-Peasy!

Freyja: Now I want the rest of you out there training. The Dhatri egg should hatch pretty soon, but Yarajya’s will take a little while longer. I’m giving each of you half a year or so to train. I’ll call all of you back here once everyone is hatched. Get to it. 

[Sticks has left Junkatorium]

Freyja: Some of us, like my sister and I, hold dominion over an entire region, others of us hold much more immense power than that, their power spanning over an entire planet, perhaps even an entire planetary system. In a sense, we are Arceus’s eyes, ever gazing onto mortal life on their behalf. Does that give you a bit of insight?

Aranyani: Freyja! Come over here a minute. We need to discuss something with our Rotom friend.

Freyja: Sure, what is it?

Aranyani: The gist of the current situation is this Rotom, the Mewtwo, and the Eye Eater are all refugees from a different universe. In both of our universes, Yarajya was born mutated and ended the region with the help of humans using nuclear weapons to get rid of her. In their universe, she was resurrected, and they had no power to try and stop her, so they came to ours seeking help. 

Freyja: That’s... impressive, actually. How did you do that?

Retro: Azrael... er, the Eye Eater version, wished for Dhatri’s egg a while ago and she regrew her Tree of Life. I was planning on using this version of Azrael to wish for the same thing along with a version of Yarajya’s egg that wouldn’t result in her mutation. 

Freyja: Why bring us back then? What’s stopping you from using just Yarajya and Dhatri to--

Aranyani: No. I already know what you’re going to say, and that’s not gonna happen on my watch.

Aranyani: You know as well as I do that doing this sort of thing would likely get both of our universes deleted if two Yarajyas were to fight one another. It would be a significant paradox!

Freyja: What are paradoxes, though? They’re things that don’t make sense without another universe’s intervention. You know this as well as I do. If we’re using a healed Yarajya, it could be explained as another Yveltal coming to help us! See? No paradox!

Aranyani: Meanwhile, our universe’s version of Inanis is without Zygardes and without order! I am not helping another universe while ours is in such disarray!

Freyja: Theirs is likely in a much worse state of disarray! They’re up against a necromancer by the sound of it! One that resurrected Yarajya no less!

Aranyani: I don’t want to discuss this any further! I am not helping! I will be restoring order to this region while your over-empathy will get both of our universes deleted!

[Aranyani has left Junkatorium]

Avani: Freyja, something’s wrong. Do you sense that?

Freyja: ...sense what? Is it something with the rain?

Avani: No, it’s nothing to do with the rain, or at least I don’t think so. It’s... I can’t sense Aranyani anymore.

Freyja: Are you sure? She tends to disconnect when she’s using her equations.

Avani: No, I could always sense her presence in the world, like I could sense you in Mt. Vitreus, but now she’s just... not there.

Freyja: That’s a little more than concerning. We’ll be on guard. Retro!

Retro: Yes?

Freyja: Keep everyone alert, there may be trouble brewing in this storm. Avani can’t sense Aranyani anymore, and if it’s after both of us, we’ll need to be vigilant.

Retro: Can and will do!

[Junkatorium has been put on high alert]

Retro: What do you remember before you got here?

Freyja: Well... Yarajya hadn’t hatched yet--

Retro: Okay, yeah, it’s been a bit longer than twenty years since you’ve been gone.

Aranyani: WHAT!? TWENTY YEARS!?

Retro: ...Yeah, maybe that requires explanation, too.

Aranyani: I’m yelling about Inanis! Look at it! It’s horrible!

Freyja: Oh... what happened?

Retro: I dunno, it’s just weird that the cave would’ve sent me to Enigma of all places. And to a time when it was still alive. And who was that purple eye? I don’t know anyone with purple eyes like that. It’s like the cave itself was... asking me questions??? Does that even make sense?
