Wilbur: Forever, the nation of the Dream SMP have cast great sins upon our great land of hot dog van. They have robbed us, imprisoned us, threatened us, killed many of our men. This time of tyranny ends with us. This book declares that the nation, which shall be henceforth known as L’Manberg, is separate, emancipated, and independent from the nation of Dream SMP. The union of the masters of men, together, we are one. When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one to dissolve the bonds which bind us, disregarding of this truth is nothing short of tyranny. We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men, in underline, are created equal. The right of the people exists above the right of the king, the right of the government, and the right of the economy. From the hot dog van, we shall prevail, life liberty, and the pursuit of victory.
Wilbur: I’m framing this fucker.

I've seen a few people talking about how the L'Manbergians never fought alone, how they're strength was in their togetherness, so it felt appropriate to give the Declaration of Independence a post of its own. So that the fact that it was literally considered tyranny to break your bonds or that those bonds were so important they were written in the nation's most valuable document could be highlighted.
At least, that's what I've taken from this, with its vague a wording, if you have a different thought on what any of this means, feel free to share!

I'm not posting the quotes with them this time around because they are all just slightly different variants of the same phrase, but I find it interesting from a narrative perspective that Eret was the one who, consistently throughout the L'Manberg Independence arc, had the hardest time abandoning their armor within the walls of L'Manberg. In multiple different transcripts you can find them being told to remove their armor, even right up until the actual War for Independence. And, sure, you could excuse that time as them forgetting as they were just being chased across the server, but it's such a consistent problem that it's a very interesting potential character detail as well!

Wilbur: Okay, so, now you need to put fermented spider eyes in it.
Tubbo: In what?
Wilbur: And turn them into invisibility.
Tubbo: Okay. Oh! Okay, do you have any spider eyes?

Not a very long or important quote in the grand scheme of things but I just really liked the idea of Wilbur coming in and teaching them how to brew potions. Or brew new potions at the very least.

Wilbur: The Declaration of War. ‘Sometimes, you’ve just got to kill some people, sometimes, you know? Dream SMP declares war on L’Manberg. Joint resolution: Punz, Sapnap, and Dream.’
Eret: Ladies and gentlemen, we are in a state of war.
Wilbur: This is how we consolidate our power. Men, this is not something to fear, this is how we show that we are a nation. If we can hold this off, if we can thwart their advances- D’you know why they’re attacking us? Power. Greed.
Tubbo: They’re scared!
Wilbur: If we can show that our nation is strong enough to hold up against an army, then we can show that we’re strong enough to run independently.
Tommy: Let’s outsmart them with words.
Wilbur: I must go, but, while I’m gone, I want potions. I want weapons. We do not fight a war- The war of greater sticks. We’re not looking for technological advancement, right? The war we’re fighting is going to be done through guerilla tactics. Is gonna be done through-through attrition.
Tubbo: Intellect.
Wilbur: And I want you guys on my side. It’s gonna be hard, but I believe in you.

Sorry for all the posts, there's not much to say here, other than it's cool how just like so many of the others things they encountered during this time, they were all so ready to take this bad thing and turn it to something that would benefit them.
And also it's missing L'Manberg hours, boys. o7
