hello hello hello!! this is the yap session anon again (maybe i should like give myself a name or something haha) but thank you for the response!! i hope you feel better soon <3 and i love the long rambles!! uhm i did also yap a lot so be prepared hahaha (you 100% don't have to read all of this!!) yap session: it's really hard to explain why i love criminology but i love the sort of puzzle solving that criminology involves? like it gets me using parts of my brain and searching for clues and etc and that just makes my brain go brrr. learning everything about cases and investigations and also the whole detective thing has always been so interesting to me. i've always wanted to help people in some sort of way and criminology was perfect in my eyes. i guess if i had to explain why i love criminology i would just have to say that it makes my brain go brrr HAHAHA. and omg for your criminology-related classes that final project is such a good one!! cause that stuff (looks, personality, etc) definitely has and still affects the justice system. back to your english major stuff, i will definitely let you know if i find any classes similar to the ones you discussed :) and i wasn't able to find "i'm afraid of men" in my local bookstores sadly :( but i did order it!!! i'm also south asian (mixed though) so it will be interesting to read!! and finally, the writing zone is so real because i literally cannot write unless i'm in a certain mood :') i annoy my friends so much complaining about that hahah does it happen in a season?: sunburn is actually on my wish list!! hearing that being one of the inspirations for "does it happen in a season?" is so cool i might order it right now haha. seeing lee in the growing stage of her life was so interesting to read and it was sort of like an explanation for why she is like she is (as an adult)!! i also LOVE your exploration of lee and ruth's relationship it was so fascinating to read. "does it happen in a season?" felt so tender and intimate and i loved how you showed that alongside the complexities of life. i felt like each chapter was organized so well and it was super easy to read and understand and it all flowed really well! plus the soundtrack was so perfectly chosen it was like a curated playlist for the fic (i love it when authors put songs that they listened to while writing or relate to the story and stuff). also THE PARALLELS MWAH I LOVE <3 i definitely didn't notice a few of them but now that you talked about them i see them and oh my gosh i love that so much. parallels in romance are literally the best things ever i love seeing those. the ending felt so perfect and the little notes you added at the end had me literally kicking my feet and giggling it made me so happy. gosh this is probably organized so horribly because i just kept on yapping HAHAH but once again thank you for responding again and i hope you feel better soon!! - criminology anon 📕(maybe this will be what i call myself?? feel free to pick something honestly hahah)

Spencer rolled into the conference room two minutes late. This prompted looks from everyone else in the room. Reid said, "Sorry I'm late." He didn't provide a reason for why he was tardy, and Hotch, standing at the front of the room said, "It's fine for once." The genius sat down and listened as the team continued to debrief. It took him a second to read over the information he had missed in his file. As the team piled into the jet, Morgan and JJ sat next to him. Reid's pants leg was lifted a little as his right leg crossed over his left. Morgan noticed his friend's mismatched socks and said, "You have a problem with your footwear this morning, Reid?" Spencer flushed. Spencer was known for having mismatched socks. It happened often, but today was an extreme example. He had one calf-length black sock on his left foot and one short white on his right. Even for Reid, this was an extreme. Spence murmured something under this breath and Morgan teased, "Come again, Reid?"

Spencer was thinking of that morning. How warm he felt in _y/n_'s arms. She had asked to be the big spoon the night before and it wasn't something Spencer had experienced before. She had crawled behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. _y/n_'s face was pressed between his shoulder blades, and he had to wonder if this was comfortable for her. He asked hesitantly, "Is this comfortable for you. _y/n_.?" She had softly hummed out a, 'Yes,' as they settled in for sleep. Spencer's insomnia lifted a bit when she was with him. It was a reprieve. And, as it turned out, this sleeping situation had seemed to ease his mind into oblivion even further. In the morning, he woke later than usual. He panicked for a moment; he was going to be late. For one second, he just stayed, seeping into the soft intimacy of the moment. It was _y/n_ that had ended up pushing him out the door, tossing two random socks in his direction. He hadn't even looked at them as he slipped them on with his loafers.

Reid's brain was momentarily back there but was pulled from the memory as his phone pinged. Spencer pulled it out of his pocket. He swiped up on his messages. As much as Derek tried not to look at the text, he was sitting just close enough and in view to see that the sender didn't have a name. There were just these emojis where a name would normally be: ❤️ 📕 🌟. This immediately Derek's interest was piqued, and he couldn't stop himself from reading the message. It was simple: just, "Stay safe out there, Spence. Love you." Morgan almost fell out of his seat. Spence had a partner! And he had been keeping it a secret from all of them? Derek had to wonder how long this had been going on. Morgan cleared his throat and said, quietly, "Reid, walk with me to the back of the jet for a minute?" Spencer followed his friend to the rear of the jet, and Derek looked at him, eyes piercing. The tall, lithe man blushed and said, "Well, I guess I've got some stuff to spill..." Derek gave a warm smile. It was nice to know that Spencer was getting care from someone. That he wasn't alone all the time in his city apartment. Derek leaned back against the small counter that housed the coffee machine and waited for Reid to speak. He was ready to listen.

I'm not really sure about what you mean by that, but if you're talking about the emoji I put after each character's name, it is indeed intentional and there are interesting reason for it! (at least I think it's interesting lol)

It's gonna be unnecessarily long so read down below if you happen to be interested with this one! (for some reasons)

I'm used to indulge to my fantasy via X (Twitter) a lot, especially since there are many Character X Reader fanarts created by JP's artists being posted on twitter. But in japanese fandom's twitter culture, there are many unspoken rules as to how to tag/title your work for the sake of decluttering/censoring/gatekeeping (idk how to best phrase that lol) and it is especially important to learn it if you want your work to reach to their demographics as well.

As for emojis, many people often used the unofficial fandom's designated emojis to tag their work/tweet/ instead of typing the actual name of the character, this is so they'll not clutter the hastag itself with their artworks/fic. Especially since sometimes there are character with similar names to one character in another fandom / the character's name itself is similar with a certain slang/noun/place.

The best example for this is Epidem from Mashle, since if you put the katakana of his name on twitter search engine you will be directed to a news/threads/tweets that is talking about 'epidemic'. It will be troublesome if someone who doesn't know anything about Mashle ended up finding random fanart about Epidem when they tried to find news related to 'epidemic', right? that's why tagging it with the designated emoji/term for that character will be more preferrable in this case.

All of team 3 from ONE are (or were) in a polycule. It formed less than a month into the 7 month hiatus thing but around 4 months into it Charlotte started being all catatonic and stuff which is when shit kinda hit the fan for everyone. In both ONE 8 and ONE 16 there's this sort of unspoken tension between the four of them that screams "they had a fallout" and im a bi disaster and polyamorous as hell so this is what my brain has come up with

I think that Whippy and Subway are the only two that still have a bit of a romantic relationship, yet its not the same.

Another thought I have about this team that kinda reaches into this polycule idea is that Airy had forgotten to merge the teams until like the final 8 or 9. Specifically the idea that team 3 had lost the last pre-merge challenge, leading to a large team-wide argument in which everyone had some level of responsibility but Charlotte caused the most damage due to her argumentative nature. Combing this with the polycule idea and Subway(was it him?) saying "no wonder she hasn't been eliminated already" suddenly hurts more

Whippy and Subway being the only two that still have some of that romantic spark is also sweet when you think about the fact that they are the only two from their team that come from the same world.

I think that if all four of them met again and started re-forming bonds then it would be more of a double date situation (whippyseat + charcoal[yes that is the ship name]) rather than everyone x everyone.

for some context, this is a response to this 8 note shitpost i, a trans person, made about trans seinfeld. i have watched maybe one episode of seinfeld max. i just vaguely know about it from my dad, and made the post because i thought it was funny

obviously i do not condone racism or inappropriate relationships. like yeah, the things anon mentions are bad. but given that i literally haven’t watched seinfeld, how was i supposed to know that? like the implication is that i already knew and simply don’t care. which is not the case, but surely there was a better way of informing me? idk man

anyway, i find it funny for a number of reasons, the first being that there are two possibilities for how this person found my post: a) they were scrolling the seinfeld tag, or b) they were scrolling my blog.

in the case of a, anon what were you doing at the devil’s sacrament? like is this person just scrolling the seinfeld tag sending anon hate to everyone? or just the trans people? is this person going around to everyone to inform them that their favorite 90’s sitcom is Problematic (TM)? why?? they were so angry they couldn’t spell michael richards right. has anyone else gotten this message? so many questions.

Hi Anon!! Thank you for asking<3 Really thought i had already posted this but then i saw it in the drafts so here you go now!

This is more of a show idea for Sky and Nani than fanfiction/rpf but here you go.

Idk if anyone here would be familiar with Unbelievers/Bloodsport. So in case you aren't, these are very popular and pretty staple Larry Stylinson (Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles) fanfictions. Unbelievers is from Louis' POV and Bloodsport is from Harry's POV.

The story revolves around these two highschool footballers who are amazing at their sport, hate each other and belong to two broken yet loving* homes. They are made co-captains as a way to not let one of them leave the team and create a "level-playing field" of sorts, but it just results in them butting heads, and fighting A LOT.

So, yes, youve guessed it right! I want Sky and Nani to play these characters, of Harry and Louis respectively.

They go through the motions of hatred, angst, accidental hook up, somethings with benefits, friends with benefits, We Cant Possibly Be In Love, angsty love confessions in the rain, and then finally Boyfriends!

Sky's character would belong to a somewhat rich family of four. His parents, bickering and completely out of love, do not pay enough attention to him. His elder sister, entirely done with her parents, has long left the house to pursue her career. Sky is left to his own devices more often than not, with only his best friend (played by who? I genuinely dont know. Whoever you think could play Zayn? Maybe Dew?). He drives a range rover and is just a bit pretentious (its his coping mechanism, please) and also has a problematic ex girlfriend (this could be Davika ig?)

Nani's character comes from a not exactly poor but definitely more middle class family than Sky's. His parents have just gone through a divorce, which means his 5 siblings have been split amongst the two parents, much to his blatant anger. He is hot headed and blunt, but also extremely sweet and acts of service. His best friend (i feel like Mark could play Niall pretty well, but again its up to you whoever you wanna imagine) is the most talkative, stupid and Best Friend type of guy ever, and Nani lowkey should be more grateful for him.

Now the one scene that made me imagine them in this is when in the most iconic Chapter 6, its Sky's birthday and Nani has absolutely forgotten it for the whole day (even though he has spent every past year pranking him on this very day) and now has to cheer his not-yet-boy up. So he shows to Sky's house, climbs into his room from the window, decorates his room in fucking golden and gets naked and puts body glitter on his entire chest except for the neck (Sky's favourite place to kiss Nani) and plays Candyshop by 50 Cent. Now you can imagine how this is gonna go when Sky shows up to the room (some other unexpected things happen tho, im not writing them down or I'll just end up writing the whole fic.. if you're interested in reading it- its on wattpad and maybe on ao3, im not too sure).

But thats basically it. Sorry if this isn't written coherently enough and if it doesn't make sense!

a few thoughts:

1: With video games, the gang can enter the world of the game if it is a multiplayer game, or like a party game or something, and if it's a game like Minecraft or animal crossing they get an avatar that looks like them, while if they have pre existing characters like Mario kart then they either replace the character and are wearing their outfit, or they have some kind of indicator show up on them like the captures in Mario Odyssey. If it's a game where it doesn't make sense for them to be there, like a point and click game or something, then maybe they get a theatre and a controller, like that one anon suggested, or they can just wander around the game world without actively interacting with things or something. Or they can like, drag the mouse around with their hands and do stuff that way. Once they reach the max amount of players for a game, they become spectators, either joining as a background npc or crowd member or something, or if that doesn't make sense in the game universe then they get a theatre. So if the reader was playing Pokemon scarlet one of the random NPCs in a town would be replaced by them, and in the wilderness they either go to the theater or take the place of a pokemon that can't be battled while they are the Pokemon. In splatoon they could be a jellyfish ig. In a game like the original subnautica where isolation is the point they probably couldn't join the game at all.

2: maybe with the readers app thing, they could select areas and do stuff. Like how you can tell a Roomba to clean a specific area of your house? The reader could set up an area and while they're there they don't get teleported unless they want to, so if they don't want to go with the reader they can just stay home. The reader goes to the store and comes back to them having cleaned the house and made them a pie or something. Maybe they can set up an area that they can't go inside of without permission to keep them out of private areas, or so they can't mess with stuff while the reader works, or something like that.

3: if they are going insane about like, cheap ramen or something, id imagine if the reader knows how to cook they'd immediately be like "I am going to make the best meal these people have ever had" and saves up money to make a nice meal for them, and if they can't cook they just take them to a really nice restaurant, or get food from a relative or something. I'd take them to a good bakery and get them some sweet empanadas and cookies :)
