my personal favorite is SAW 3D (because of the trap “Silence Circle”), and Saw IV (because of our first encounter with Peter Strahm and Mark Hoffman’s backstory).

“Silence Circle” was the first trap in the movies that actually made me squirm. the uncomfortable feeling of having to pull out a hook that could easily be lodged into your stomach and organs while you’re not able to make any noises freaked me the fuck out.

Q: At Laguna Seca you had one of your most frustrating races in 2009 [sic??] and last year you had one of your greatest races. Casey Stoner: I think everyone can appreciate that maybe the race wasn't so easy on a Ducati now. That maybe it wasn't as clean cut as everyone thought it to be. So I've always felt comfortable coming out of the last corner going on the main straight. On the laps previous to that I was catching Jorge every time doing that spot. And I thought if I got close enough and he just makes a small slip-up with gear shift, which it's not going to take much, but it's just enough to get me that momentum. And it happened. If you actually watch you'll see me all of a sudden sort of get an acceleration. It's not that, it's just the fact that he left that wheelie a little bit too long. Lost that little bit of momentum and that allowed me to carry that momentum around the outside. Q: Some believe that was the turning point in the championship? Do you agree or disagree? Casey Stoner: No, I completely disagree. Then it turned again and it turned back again, so there's constantly turning points in the championship. I think, just let it go. Just let every race be a different turning point in the championship. There's always different moments and you just need to let them flow.

I do think the wildest part of the Skyrocket/Connie concept is that Visaggio seemed to legitimately believe that Kon-El is like... a D-List superhero. Which is just like, a wild thing to believe considering the Comic Kon won in a fan poll hadn't even finished coming out at the time she pitched her idea.

The Killers - Somebody Told Me 2004

"Somebody Told Me" is a song by American rockband the Killers. It was released as the second official single from the group's debut studio album Hot Fuss (2004), and was written by band members Brandon Flowers, Mark Stoermer, Dave Keuning and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. The single peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In the UK, it charted at number 28 upon its first release in March 2004, becoming the band's first hit in the Top 40, it was then re-released in January 2005 and reached number three. In Australia, the song was ranked number four on Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2004. In 2009, it was voted at number nine in XFM's Top 100 Songs of the Decade.

Stylistically, "Somebody told Me" has been cited as alternative rock, new wave, dance-rock, and disco. Billboard called the song "wildly infectious", and "as addictive as nickel slots". Blender asserted that the single is a "superb blaze of synthesizers and guitars that builds to the year's best one-liner: 'Somebody told me you had a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend I had in February of last year.'" The song appears as a master track in Rock Band 4. The song also appears in the background in a bar in a scene from the 2006 film Rocky Balboa.

"Somebody Told Me" received a total of 91,5% yes votes!
