Hey, so you remember that Peter Pan continuation/retelling book I’m writing… well… I’ve made a blog to document research, progress, and everything that’s going into the FFFI writing process!

Please follow along, this is my pride and joy and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Maeby Funke's hoodie - Arrested Development 3x06

 In season 3 episode 6 of Arrested Development, Maeby wears this hoodie for a split second as she's discussing Rita in the kitchen. 

It is a Harajuku Lovers Banana hoodie, which can be found on Poshmark (which is where i found this image) and other second hand sites. Harajuku Lovers was a label created by Gwen Stefani, however the clothing line seems to be now extinct.

besides sheezy, what sites would you recommend for art publishing and something more personal, like a blog?

it kinda depends on your intentions. for art publishing are you looking for smth casual or professional? in terms of a casual art site, sheezy is the only one i fw personally cuz it ticks off the boxes i look for in an art gallery site. theres others like artfol and inkblot, but i don't really like them because they function like insta/twit/social media For Artists ™️ to me.

for professional sites, i’ve heard of cara. i suppose it’s like artstation, but in retaliation of their dumb AI image generator rules. It looks like a nice portfolio site if you’re looking for work.

now when it comes to personal blogs, i’d always suggest making your own website. like i’d suggest neocities, wordpress, weebly etc. weebly is nice and beginner friendly because you don’t have to code. (although i would still learn HTML in general when it comes to website creation, but i digress lol) And then there’s blog sites like blogspot, tumblr, and dreamwidth (i think its more on the journaling/literature side cuz it’s an alternative to livejournal) and don’t forget about setting up RSS feeds and newsletters to keep your audience updated on your new posts.

Do I know how to code? Not really, but I will make that page smooth and pretty, and I will always want to add a little something extra just for kicks and giggles.

i'm not asking what introduced it to you, i'm specifically asking where you went for resources on fashion, music, history, ect.

(note that this is almost definitely skewed towards goth and jfashion during the late 2000s-mid 2010s. I also have no idea how emo and scene work as subcultures sorry I skipped right to 'goth that's annoying about the music')

Lindsay's Clutch (Arrested Development - Season 2)

Throughout Arrested Development Season 2, Lindsay Bluth carried this clutch in several episodes including 2x03 and in the final scene of 2x10.

This is an Emilio Pucci toiletry/makeup bag with a leather strap. The picture in the collage above is a bag with an extremely similar print which was listed on Vestiaire Collective for around $260.

Similar bags can be found second hand listed as mini bags/clutches even as baguette bags (which is not even close).
