I'm thinking about The Glory again and how Dong Eun only really needed to be kind to the people around the targets of her revenge to really make sure her revenge took.

Specifically I'm thinking about her revenge on her homeroom teacher, who blatantly favored her bullies and just didn't give a shit about her cause she had no money.

i grew up in france with my grandmother. she died when i was 12. i had to come back to the states, live with my uncle. i had to ride on the plane by myself because there was no one to...you know. and i didn't want to go. i mean, i didn't want to leave france because she...she didn't have any other family that lived there. i didn't want to leave her alone. i mean, she was dead, but...i was crying at the airport, and this nice lady bought me a soda. i told her what was wrong. and she--she said to me, they come with you when you go.

so, i guess what i'm just trying to say is don't be sad and don't feel guilty. he'll come with you when you go.

As a Davrin Romancer, seeing the number of people gunning for Lucanis' only to be basically leg-sweeped by Davrin has me living.

I'm on my second playthrough romancing Lucanis and every interaction with Davrin is like a siren call when the heart option comes up like, he is tempting me from the other side. And he will do so again when I reach my 3rd playthrough to romance with Bellara or Neve.

Some updates in the time I've been away: What Comes From Picking Flowers has been picked up by a major publisher and will be out sometime in 2026. And my short story Regarding "The Below Special" is being adapted by a horror podcast, and will be out sometime later this year.
