where: bedroom 1
who: @sassa-fiske
charlie was beyond ready to get drunk by the time she barged into the bedroom. the day had been altogether too wholesome - snowball fights, hot chocolate. she was already antsy waiting for her final grades to come back, but tonight she was crawling out of her skin. "i'm just here to grab lip gloss," she grumbled as she saw sassa alone in the room. "what are you still doing in here? everyone else is downstairs doing shotskis."

who: @sassa-fiske
where: performing arts practice rooms
“i have this room booked.” beck unceremoniously dumped her dance bag on the floor of the multipurpose practice room before giving sassa a chance to respond. she’d learned her freshman year that these bookings were extremely competitive - a girl had to stand up for herself, after all. “sorry to be a bitch about it but i have a midterm due in like, four hours.”
#ft: sassa#do u like that my starters take so long. is it like a fun surprise when i post them. i choose to believe it is.

"aww, you have a boyfriend? that's so sweet. do you hold hands and skip rocks? is he going to put a valentine in your locker?" she faked a gag. boyfriend - so unglamorous. there was nothing chic about having a boyfriend, especially in 2024. "maybe he'll ask you to the big dance. grow up. if you liked your boyfriend," she made the word as squeaky and saccharine as she could, "you wouldn't be hanging around me all the time telling me how much you're getting laid." yes, she'd convinced herself entirely by now that sassa's entire campaign against her was driven by unacknowledged sexual desire. however, she generally believed everyone's behavior towards her was driven by unacknowledged sexual desire. "grow up!"
Sassa threw her head back, bursting into laughter before she could stop it. The very ideas that she was one - delusional and two - obsessed with Charlie were so off base that it just proved Sassa had been correct to doubt that she could possibly be the one behind this. No one running a blackmailing scheme had intuition that could lead them so far astray. When she reeled her amusement back in, Sassa let out a sigh, her head shaking as she glanced back towards Charlie. "God, that was a good one," she said, a hand pressed to her chest as she tried to catch her breath, though she was still unable to stop another giggle from slipping from her lips. "And don't worry about me getting laid - though pot, kettle, with the whole trying to claim I'm obsessed with you thing," she said, a hand motioning between them. It seemed obvious who was obsessed with who, here. "I have a boyfriend." Not that she really liked him. "I get laid plenty." He did have some pros. "Seems like you can't say the same, though. Especially if you're so worried about my sex life."

Ollie's Dorm sometime after the interrogations, during exams [ @sassa-fiske ]
"Do the police even realize how shitty their timing is, or is this on purpose?" Currently a ball of anxiety, and moving back and forth around his room attempting to get all the materials in order for every single client of his and their midterms, Ollie was not having the best week. "Like this is the second time they did this during exams. That's gotta be on purpose." His paranoid ranting to Sassa might have been fueled by some bad weed, he didn't know. But things had not been going his way recently (or maybe anybody's way) so who could blame him? If it wasn't one vice leading him to a headache it was another as his phone, currently sitting on the couch next to Sassa, continued to sound off with the very specific sounding three chime notification of grindr. Despite making it his NYE goal to stop using it, and stop hooking up with random people ... he'd made it so long. Oh well. Granted he wasn't really interested right now either. As shown by his very dramatic groan. "God can you grab that and DM back whoever that is and tell them to fuck off I'm busy?" He said, to Sassa, rolling his eyes. "Unless it's a rich elderly man wanting to hook up on his death bed in exchange for being his sole inheritor. I will make an exception for that. Be careful they might be dick pics-- Actually just toss it over, you don't need to be subjected to that."

PIKE house friday the 13th [ @sassa-fiske ]
Ambrose stood to the side of the room, out of the way of the main foot traffic. Mainly keeping to himself. He was considering leaving. There was no reason to stay, no social obligations holding him here. In fact there were more excuses he had to not be here than otherwise. But he was just a bit fascinated by the people watching. Some clumsy student or other stumbling and committing a social faux pas. "I think that's about the seventh time I've seen someone spill their drink in the past thirty minutes," he said, glancing at the girl next to him, "no wonder companies are making bank off of water bottles. Perhaps those throwing parties should invest in some."

Waverly Dorm #205 a few hours before the Commencement Gala [ @sassa-fiske ]
"Sassa, is this dress okay?" Sam asked as she entered her friend's dorm, frowning a little bit. She attempted to open the garment bag while she was walking, before giving and up and waiting until she could set the dress down. "I thought it was pretty great, but then like … 'gala' makes me think things are supposed to be really fancy, and maybe it's not fancy enough? But I also don't want to take the spotlight away from any of the seniors either, you know?" The dress was probably fine, but Sam always had second, and third, and fourth thoughts about what she was supposed to wear at fancy school events. It wasn't the first time she'd gone to Sassa for advice through the years, and it probably wouldn't be the last. But Sam always trusted her to be honest, and know what would be tasteful to wear to these sorts of things. She loved Ollie, he had great fashion sense, but tasteful wasn't exactly in his vocabulary. Sam laid the bag out and opened it to show the dress. "It's not too casual?"

@sassa-fiske
Sassa had immediately known who Lennon was when she had stepped foot on Ogden’s campus, and had immediately set about becoming friends with the then-sophomore. While simultaneously making sure Lennon didn’t pick up on that at all. That was the key to being friends with people with those sort of connections, in Sassa’s opinion - not letting them realize you cared. So far, she had managed well, as evidenced by the nickname bestowed by the upperclassmen. “Please,” she said, letting out a sigh. “You’re the one who came up all picture perfect - someone tailing you with a camera again?” Sassa said, ducking her chin in towards her shoulder slightly as she exaggeratedly pretended to peer over Lennon’s shoulder. “But I’m not down, not really. I just hate New Years. Too much pressure for one night - it never works out the way you want.”
There’s a fine line to toe at all times in this godforsaken place, but even still, Lennon feels the kind of kinship with Sassa that she often isn’t able to at Ogden. There’s a slight relaxing of her shoulders in her presence, an amount of comfort she is so rarely afforded. A soft flip of her stomach alerts her to the fact that this may not be her best idea, but she needs a minute of peace in the midst of what their world has turned into lately. She doesn’t look over her own shoulder, simply grinning at her friend’s teasing. “I look good enough that they should be following me around, shouldn’t they?” she winks, listening closely to Sassa’s words. Lennon isn’t one to think too much about the new year in terms of goals, but she thinks she might understand what the other girl is saying. “Expectations are the root of all evil,” Len laughs, shaking her head. “Maybe it’s better to go into the night with none whatsoever. No reason to hate the night if it’s the same as all the rest.”

who: @sassa-fiske
where: thanksgiving. end of the night.
"ugh. don't you hate these things?" the room had started to clear out, and the bar was starting to become deserted, but claudia was relishing her fifteen minutes of quiet. she'd successfully slipped an ex-husband, a current husband, two crotch goblins, and a daughter. sort of. "hauled all the way up here and my daughter hardly said two words to me. you kids are so ungrateful." she was hardly looking at sassa, more speaking to the martini she was nursing.

beck felt like she was treading water. her unanswered text from g was burning a hole in her phone, her overdrafted credit card was burning a hole in her pocket, and the bottom-shelf vodka was burning a hole in the back of her throat. "and you know what else i'm tired of? having to pretend to support your friend who's dating an ugly guy. i'm not telling my friends their boyfriends are cute anymore when they look like creatures from the black lagoon. it's not feminist." and she'd forgotten that vodka made her a chatty drunk. "am i wrong?" she turned to the girl next to her.

she mirrored sassa's smile, beatific even as her teeth ground together. "i don't take sides. as a general rule." the only side she was ever on was her own. "but i would worry about your actual enemies. because link didn't tell me about you, g did." she wasn't sure why she told sassa, perhaps some subconscious recognition that they really did have one major common enemy.
"you really are such a good actress. you were so... outraged. puritan. but you're just like me," she flashed a self-satisfied smile. "isn't that funny? although, unlike you, apparently, i wouldn't have minded sharing." with a look up and down so pointed it was practically lewd, she turned on her heel and walked out. what a colossal waste of time.
END
A smile played across Sassa's lips as she let Charlie speak - let her eyes run over her, let her pout and draw out the drama. Her arms crossed over her chest, her head angling towards one shoulder. She was pissed - livid, actually, shoving her fuming inside where Charlie wouldn't see it. Instead, she acted entirely unbothered by the entire thing. Sassa hated not knowing how to play something - and she was certainly caught off guard with this, resenting Link, Charlie, G, for having made her lose an upper hand. "Maybe instead you should be asking Link," she said, shrugging up her shoulders, her head angling even further, until her ear nearly touched one. "He knew we were sharing a room. He was sleeping with both of us, behind his girlfriend's back. And yet...somehow I still walked in on you two. If you aren't wondering what game he is playing...then you're even more clueless than I thought," she said, letting the explanation linger between them before she shrugged, a sigh slipping from her. "He lied to me, you know. Maybe I was hoping he lied to you too. That you'd be on the same side as me in all this," Sassa added after a moment, a lingering hurt creeping into her voice, painting herself as the victim here. She was, really. In her opinion at least.

Tri Delt Valentines day Spin the Bottle [ @sassa-fiske ]
"Happy Valentines Day!" Ollie said cheerfully tossing a friendly arm around Sassa's shoulders as they were ushered into a nearby closet. "You look really nice tonight," he added. He liked the pink, he felt like she looked good in the color. "How's the romance tonight? D'you wanna make out? I'm probably not your first choice, right?" He laughed a little bit, leaning back against the wall of the closet. He'd do it, of course. She wasn't his first choice either, but he did like Sassa. She was his friend (as far as he was aware). He had no problem kissing his friends. "Wait," he said, holding a finger up towards her, and giving a playful wiggle of his eyebrows, "who would be your first choice."

"I am indeed a Freshman," Ambrose said, with a laugh. "I'm sad to have my wide-eyed idealism that we would have passed the sippy cup stage of our lives by the time we could drink alcohol destroyed." College truly gave you invaluable life lessons, didn't it? So much world experience. "I'll have to invest in alcoholic bottles, or party rain ponchos, I guess." Give the idea to someone innovative and well liked enough and it would take on like wild fire. Nobody would have to deal with being a sticky mess in the middle of a party again -- well, not because they had a drink spilled on them. "I'm glad to see we've managed to stay dry at least. I'm Ambrose," he said turning back to the girl with a smile.
Sassa blinked at Ambrose Morrison for a few seconds, wondering if he had any idea who she was. If any of his cousins had shared about her - to be honest, she didn't know what would be worse. If they had, even as bad as it was likely to have been...or if they hadn't. The possibility that at the end of the day, Greer had most likely seen Sassa as insignificant, had tormented her just because she could, and not out of any true malice...it would be enough to drive anyone insane. But without knowing if they had, and even though she was overwhelmingly aware of who the freshman standing beside her was, it was safer for Sassa to play dumb. And friendly. Letting a smile curl over her face, she glanced towards him, a quiet, musical laugh falling from lips.. "You must be a freshman if you're surprised by that," she said, a small shake of her head. "Trust me - it's the norm at parties like this."
