"Hm, might be a good idea to say something, actually. Usually, I bring my tote bag, but today I feel a bit out of sorts carrying everything around," she laughed, adjusting her small stack of books to where they rested on the crook of her arm before she bumped into him. Once she had them neatly placed, she continued speaking. "I know the feeling. I try to borrow from the library whenever I can, but nothing beats having my own personal copy of a potential favorite- and building an unreasonably big collection," she joked, then waved off his concerns. "Oh, no, I'm fine, really. Pretty sure it's my own clumsiness, so it's not much to worry about."

After the books were sorted to the correct owners, Alek stood back up and put his stack off to the nearby table. "I think you have a good idea, maybe they'd be open to the suggestion?" He scratched the back of his neck with an awkward sort of smile, the kind of smile that was trying to reconcile with the fact that they felt ungodly stupid about running into someone. He really should have been paying much better attention. "I try to limit the amount of books I buy when I come here, but sometimes I let my own excitement get away from me." He admitted with a shrug of his shoulder. "Didn't hurt you, did I?" He then asked, eyes widening at the idea of hurting someone.

Although her reading list was endless, Aisha always liked to stop into the bookstore whenever she was in the downtown area. There hadn't been much to do during the winter months, so reading had been her big hobby around this time of year, and she loved the vibe of the bookshop. Looking for nothing in particular, she already found a few newer releases she hadn't found at the library yet, tucking them in the crook of her arm. Looking at the shelves, she'd been distracted and turned slightly, bumping into someone. She noticed the stack they had fallen to the floor, and she was quick to help pick them up. "It's no problem!" she shook her head, giving a smile. "I say we pitch baskets like they have at the supermarkets for bigger hauls. They truly underestimate the amount of books people walk out of here with."

Who: Alek & [open] Where: Book Ends When: Afternoon in late January
Amidst the shelves of books, Aleksander felt at home. Sure, he had a sizable stack of books ranging from psychology self-help to fantasy novels in his hands, but that was neither here nor there. If he was keeping track, which he wasn't, then he'd know that he had 8 books towered in his grasp. He frowned as he noticed an old copy of the DSM, outdated and most likely donated by someone who didn't need it when they updated to the current DSM. He huffed a bit at the old text, then turned to check out, deciding he had far too many books. That's when he collided with someone and sent both his and their books scattering across the floor. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry!" He exclaimed as he knelt down to start picking up books, trying to sort what was his and what was theirs without looking up to see who it was he had run into, quite literally. After sorting through the books, he picked up the ones that belonged to the stranger and handed them over. "There, sorry about that I should learn to take fewer books."
