Breaking the Ise Curse
I have a theory that Nanao will break the Ise curse by marrying Giriko Kutsuzawa's father. I think it will be a clash of heirlooms. Shinken Hakkyōken kills all men who marry in the clan and the Watch of Good Fortune protects the Kutsuzawa men. Shinken Hakkyōken disperses the power of god and Giriko thought the watch was god.
The Ise Clan is a matrilineal family that only births daughters so has to adopt sons-in-law. But all men who marry into family die early from the Ise Curse.
Isuzu believed that Shinken Hakkyōken was the source of the curse. Also it seems like it's the reason only women are born in the clan.
The Ise Clan is a family of priests who do not own individual zanpakuto instead Shinken Hakkyōken is passed to the head of family. The sword has to the power to disperse god's power in all directions.
It seems like the Ise Clan is bound to Shinken Hakkyōken. Through Nanao we know that the Ise clan do not own Zanpakuto voluntarily they can't make Asauchi their own.
According to Giriko the Kutsuzawa Family were blessed by the Watch of Good Fortune and suffered from misfortunes of fire that they still survived from. I think the implication is that they are a family of Fullbringers and share the watch as their Object Affinity.
Although it was stated that Giriko falsely believed he was spokesmen of God ironically enough he foreshadowed their connection to the Soul King.
It was revealed that the Soul King is the source of the Fullbringers powers they have fragments of him in their soul.
Orihime is a Fullbringer which was foreshadowed in the manga.
So I think it's possible we will see an incarnation of the Watch of Good Fortune similar to Shun Shun Rikka
I am hoping Shinken Hakkyōken's spirit will appear because of how important it is. I'm hoping to see a battle of spirits between Shinken Hakkyōken and the Watch of Good Fortune.
Nanao said the man she admires will think the curse is ridiculous and would laugh of a curse.
Giriko's father died early and he stated that his grandfather and great grandfather carried the watch with them all the time not his father. I think this points to him not believing in the power of watch, meaning he is a person who would laugh at a curse. He died young so theoretically he should still be young in the Soul Society.
Giriko appeared in TYBW and was teased that he would participate in the war.
Unfortunately that was his last appearance I'm hoping his story gets expanded in the anime. I think he will meet up with father.

Sorry to all of you DPxDC fans, but it's Bleach hours right now.
And I had a thought:
Fullbringers get their powers from leftover Hollow Reiatsu being left behind after a Hollow attacked their mother.
That's something we all know.
But most, chief among them Tite Kubo, seem to have forgotten that White was made specifically to be akin to a Viral Infection towards his targets. Ichigo, born a weird mishmash of everything, is part-Holow because of that.
Therefore, his Fullbring also IS infectious, because of the Hollow that made it possible, right?
Enter stage left...Kugo Ginjo, Fulbring Thief, and all around Bastard. Who's hearing up to take Ichigo's Fullbring for himself.
What if he got Infected by White's poison, which Ichigo almost certainly produces as part of his Hollow side?
Rapid resolution to the Lost Agent arc:
Ginjo steals Ichigo's Fullbring. Gloats about it, like the Machiavellian bastard that he fancies himself as, and goes to pay Ichigo back for all his help by killing him.
Except, now there's a nasty Hollowfying Infection digging it's claws into his soul.
Right in the middle of their headquarters. Where every single other Fullbringer is also stationed to stop Ichigo from tearing his head off before the process is finished.
And what are Fullbringers if now a source of extra Hollow Reiatsu, ripe for the taking for a young, newborn Menos?
Meanwhile, Shiro is cackling like mad in Ochigo's mind, watching this train wreck happen. It's poetic. Horrifyingly beautiful poetry in motion, of Ginjo being hoisted by his own petard.
Ichigo's friends, also known as a significant part of the Gotei 13, come in hoping to restore Ichigo's Shinigami powers just in time for him to fight off Ginjo...only to see a Hollow quickly growing into a Fucking Menos after it's morning snack, and Ichigo trying to play distraction while Uryu tries to turn it into a pin cushion.
@sunflowersandcherryblossoms Thoughts? Does that make sense?

Bleach Volume 53.5 - "Bad Blood Exhaust"
Jackie was always one of my favorite, underrated characters and seeing how she is one of the few Fullbringers to never get a Volume Cover, I decided to make one myself. Nothing special here - just a simple edit with Manga panel, title and a volume name based on the chapter of the same name.
You can read what the Volume is about here > Fulbring Arc Should Have Been Chad's Arc
And come join us at r/Bleach Manga!

As much as I've always been pretty critical of the Lost Agent arc, and the Fullbringers as a concept, and the way their individual powers were handled... There really were a few little nuggets worth exploring that I wish there had been better plot accomodations to do so with.
I love the whole animist idea, I just don't know that it fit very well into the Bleach world building. The idea of imbuing spirit and power and indeed a Heart into inanimate objects, especially in the context of Ichigo and Ginjo having lost shinigami powers in different ways, COULD have made for a really fascinating parallel with zanpakutou if it had been even lightly explored.
And while the idea of the Fullbringers getting their innate powers as a consequence of hollow attacks on their mothers was wildly and needlessly arbitrary, I DO wish they'd interrogated the Hollow-like nature of those powers. We got a few back stories more or less just establishing that they were all a little toxic, but not all in ways that reflected the Hollow M.O. it didn't come as a conflict of powerful desire and overindulgence. It didn't manifest as a need to consume and destroy those close to them.
It could have been really interesting to see more of how a human can have an innately hollow like personality or impulse problems. It could have been cool to see how a familiarity with hollows spiritually could have resulted in a natural need to manifest a mask, but the mask is the Fullbring, but the Fullbring is more like a zanpakutou and its shikai than like a hollow mask. So instead of putting the best of yourself into a sword that can look you in the eye and offer you power in exchange for self respect and understanding you put the worst of yourself into an object and it gives you power in exchange for indulging in your compulsions and fixations.
Really the best version of this that we got was Riruka, where her "love" is literally possessive and manifests that first time as her abducting the boy she's basically stalking. And basically no one else got this kind of relationship with their Fullbring
Arguably Yukio replacing his negligent parents with his videogame world sort of touches on a version of it as well, but he's given such a passive role in that dynamic that it doesn't quite reflect on him so much as on his parents. If anything it could have been interesting to see his life as not as bad as he'd convinced himself it was, but that he actively chose fantasy over reality, rather than being pushed towards it by circumstance.
Alternatively it could have been cool to see how the Fullbring itself could've been hollow-like. In the way a hollow puts itself into its mask, a Fullbringer puts themselves into their objects. Is the spirit given to that special object benevolent, or even ambivalent, or is it a repository for all its user's negative thoughts and feelings? Does it grow stronger only as it serves to mask more and more of their self hatred and identity issues? Like the initial threat of the inner hollow swallowing and consuming an identity that Hirako threatens Ichigo with, could the Fullbring itself have threatened to consume its user? If you put enough of yourself into the object, and the object gains power and identity, is it possible that one day the object contains more of "you" than you do? Does it begin to want power on its own? Does it start to take more of that power, that emotional investment, that connection, that heart from its human user?
It would have been an interesting vehicle for Ichigo's arc if the Fullbring has explicitly been powered by unhealthy obsession and the substitution of a fetish totem in place of real interpersonal connections: if Ichigo's implicit flaw had been his attachment to his powers as an extension of his need to protect others. The way Riruka's flaw was in how she loved people onesidedly, literally objectifying them. The way Yukio's flaw was in how he retreated into a fake reality while neglecting the real one in a desperate need for control.

Oooooh I just noticed a cool connection between Bleach and Gachiakuta, with Gachiakuta's Vital Instruments and Bleach's Fullbring, both seem to be the power to take an object you have a connection with and using it for combat or other stuff (obviously not 1 to 1 exactly the same, but similar enough it's cool)

Yhwach's Origin
Yhwach created the Quincies but his own birth is still a mystery.
Yhwach claims to be the son of the Soul King. But he was seemingly born around 1200 years ago in the human world and Soul King was sealed in his crystal the Soul Society.
Also we can't take what he says literally. He considers himself Ichigo's true father calls Isshin a stand-in.
I have a theory that Yhwach is the reincarnation of a member of the the Shihoin Clan.
The three worlds used to be one and in Can't Fear Your Own World it was revealed that splitting life and death was the idea of the ancestors of the five noble clans.
It was the Shihoin Clan ancestor that came up with the reincarnation cycle. "The Shihoin clan’s ancestor believed that an even greater cycle of circulation was needed to progress the stagnant world forward." I think it would be significant and ironic for a Shihoin to put end to that cycle.
I think it will be a twist similar to Hollows being revealed to be fallen human souls.
Yhwach was born without his senses which I think is influenced by the Three Wise Monkeys and the Sanshin. I think this is a clue on how Yhwach got his Quincy powers.
The Sanshin are evil spirits believed to live in people and try to hasten the death of their host. They record the sins of the host to report to the gods so they would be punished. I think this is the inspiration for Yhwach power sharing ability.
The Sanshin are believed to reside in three dantian "energy centers", respectively located within the head, chest, and abdomen. This correlates to the saketsu and hakusui which are located in the chest and abdomen.
I think the third eye of Aizen and the Llyod twins hint at a pressure point existing in the head.
Uryu regained his Quincy powers by being struck with a Heilig Pfeil in the chest.
In the spot where the saketsu or Chain of Fate would be. I think this is a hint on how Yhwach gain his Quincy powers.
The Soul King split the primordial world into the triplet worlds.
He used a sword.
And three arrows to do it. EDIT: I think he pierced his saketsu, hakusui and "third eye" to transform into a Quincy.
The Shihoin Clan are the guardian of heavenly weapons and tools bestowed unto them by the gods/heaven which I take means the Soul King. I think they had the sword and three arrows.
Tools have souls in the name and Fullbringers can boost their power with their own souls. The Soul King in Can't Fear Your Own World was said to have countless abilities like the Fullbringers. I think the Soul King boosted the arrows with his soul.
I think the arrow had spirits in them similar to Shun Shun Rikka.
Orihime's hair clips were compared to Zanpakuto.
I think these spirits were incarnation of the Soul King and will be inspired by the Sanshin.
As opposed to Shinigami Quincy extinguish the souls of Hollows.
It was explained as being out of revenge for the Hollows killing their loved ones.
Mayuri pushed back on the that idea and hypothesized it was because Hollows are deadly to Quincy.
Urahara cosigned this and explained that Quincy had no antibody against Hollows. This makes me think that it being out of resentment is true.
Urahara is not a reliable narrator. He is a fierce defender of the status quo so won't reveal the true reason Quincy seek to kill hollow.
The Shihoin lead the Onmitsukidō who act as scouts against the Hollows. Sui Feng lost all 5 of her brothers so I see that how the would breed resentment against Hollows. Also they assassinate lawbreakers so maybe the Yhwach's past life believed the Shinigami deserved punishment for mutilating the Soul King.
I think it could be why Chika Shihoin joined the Gotei 13, out of a sense of familial obligation to stop the Quincy since they were born from his family.
Old Man Zangetsu looks like Yhwach from a thousand years and interestingly enough Yoruichi met him. It's unclear if Yoruichi knows Ichigo is a Quincy but I think she could bring it up in the anime. I have feeling Urahara knows the truth and that Yoruichi will get it out of him.
