Part 1 It's been a long time since I uploaded any mixes, so here we go with a huge mix of my favourite NuFunk party jams from the last few years. All mixed in key. I wanted to fit tonnes of my favourite jams in here but it would have been far too long, so I've recorded it in two parts. A lot of thought and preparation has gone into these two mixes. All these artists and tracks have been chosen because they've had a lasting impression on me and my music. These tracks are all staples in my sets and I'm stoked to be able to put them all together in one place where everyone else can check them out and throw them down whenever they like. Finally able to upload my mix from Splore festival 2014 here in New Zealand! The Regrooved Soundsystem crew rocked the decks from midnight to 4am at Splore again this year, dishing up more party madness like the Splore before! We were all super stoked to be asked back again this year. Here's a huge THANK YOU to all the people who came to check us out on the Friday night at the Love Shack Stage and also to all the lovely people involved in the amazing and beautiful Splore festival! The funk is strong! Most of these tracks have been mixed in key and all of them have been edited and cut down to fit their sweet spots into my 80min timeslot. What the hell went down that night!? I'm proud to finally be able to show my contribution towards CMC & Silenta's 'Feature Breaks Vol 4 - Remixed 2' series. 'Big Up Booty' has always been a favourite, so I was super stoked to have the opportunity to work on the remix! CMC & Silenta are back with another remix EP from their successful album "Get it on Now". The EP, released on vinyl, includes three hot club tracks from the original album plus three remixes on the B-Side. A1. "Yeah That's Right" feat. Mystro and Malenda A2. "This is How We Rollin'" feat. the Ragga Twins A3. "Where We Started From" feat. Jennifer Lowpass B1. "Yeah That's Right" feat. Mystro and Malenda (Phunk Junkies Remix) B2. Big Up Booty (Funk Ferret Remix) B3. "This is How We Rollin'" feat. the Ragga Twins (William Breakspear Remix) The remixes are super, starting with "Yeah That's Right" from new uprising stars: The Phunk Junkies. Kotch, one of the Junkies, gained massive attention last year with his Buccovina glitch-hop styled remix that was played by every DJ in the scene. Label boss for Skanky Panky Records, William Breakspear, whose known for his K-Lab remixes and collaborations with Ashley Slater, shows us his interpretation of "This is How We Rollin''. And Funk Ferret, from world of Ghetto Funk, took "Big Up Booty" and transformed it from a deep bass rocker to a funky breaks monster.
