last year on halloween eddie’s life had been rapidly spinning more out of control every day. this year his son is back home, buck is his boyfriend (which is a whole insane story in and of itself) and eddie feels settled. it’s a strange feeling. he’s not sure he’s ever really felt settled in his entire life.

there’s a flight or fight instinct inside telling him not to get used to it. he’s trying to ignore that.
