Also, I’ll have to ask for your forgiveness, I completely forgot about the poly ships *crowd boos* I KNOW! I KNOW! IM SORRY! But they’re here now as compensation! (Maybe I should do a poll with only poly ships? 🤔)

Gamzee’s mumble of confusion was cut short with a mottled hand slapped over his mouth. Karkat glares at him and swipes his unoccupied hand down over his face. Silence. 

When Gamzee only raises eyebrows, Karkat moves his hand away. 

“Just watch. If he knows you’re there, he won’t do it.”

Gamzee blinks in confusion, but goes along with it. His moirail has a reason for everything. Together, the two crouch just around the wall of the hallway, a join just before the kitchen. Where Dave was. 

In the human’s hands were various assortments of sponges, cleaning sprays, and. His phone. Which he was flipping through. Karkat’s eyes were locked on this. Gamzee can see him mouthing something, over and over. ‘C’mon, c’mon...’ 

Dave eventually puts down the supplies, and settles the phone on a stand, one with speakers to allow the sound to reach farther. 

He takes up a cloth. 

Music, human music, plucky and wooden cuts the air. Karkat’s claws scrap the wall and his eyes go wide. So does his grin. 

Dave strikes a dramatic pose with the song.
