Js woke up from my mid-afternoon nap and had a spontaneous realization. Sylus can't die until MC kills him, right? So Sylus is able to cheat death countless times.

Enter reader (you) who is the goddess of death, kinda the female version of Thanatos. You're getting that one disappointed look from Hades after he's finished reading the list of how many times Sylus Qin has escaped death.

The king of the underworld makes it a clear point that if within six months Sylus isn't in the realm, you'll have a successor.

So now you're chasing said man with your two minions in tow (kinda like Pain and Panic from Hercules 1997)

Your plan is simple: get MC to kill Sylus which would be a pain in the butt considering they share half the soul or whatever.

Luke and Kieran are happy that they've stuck around long enough to find out who could actually end their boss-man's life and your minions are happy that they'll finally be able to see you less angry when Sylus is gone.

Mephisto and Cerberus just don't get along.

Add in some extra characters like Kore (Persephone before she became queen), Rafayel (there are two gods now and he demands a face-off), The Fates (because duh who'd do the prophecy shit otherwise) and etc. Pure magic.

I LOVE COOKING ISEKAI / FANTASY.

Like “Delicious in Dungeon”, “Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill” (isekai-ed me would’ve liked that skill lol), “Isekai Izakaya Nobu”, etc. I LOVE THEM ALL.

ALSO LIKE. So much of the food in BotW / TotK look SO GOOD. I’ve made & tried some of it as I’ve mentioned. But things like the “Crab Omelet with Rice” (which I’m 99.9% sure is a dish called “tenshinhan” in our world) is something I’d love to try!

(For comparison — second image is from Just One Cookbook, one of my go-to’s for Japanese home cooking. Might have to try her tenshinhan someday! I can’t wait to make her oyakodon tonight - it’s one of our favorites!)

I swear. Food in anime & games. Like all the recipes in BotW / TotK, PKMN Sword / Shield’s curries (playing that game makes me crave curry rice so bad!), Legends Arceus’ potato mochi (still gotta make that!), & so much more!

If I ever make that cozy witchy RPG someday (aka when I take that leap & also recruit people who know how to do all the technical stuff lol), I SWEAR: I am putting all the delicious-looking, cozy foods that’d make anyone want to run to their kitchens to make them, too!

this is such a beautiful shot. goodness. it almost feels like a dream.

i have to say, two episodes into the faifawine arc, i think this is the best storyline so far. they executed the base of their relationship so well in my opinion. also, faifa and wine feel so solid and grounded in their beliefs. they're loveable individually, more so when together. i don't know. i'm so pleasantly surprised. i like their story so much. it feels so them. the editing. the pacing. everything feels so right. i'm enjoying their arc so so much <3

"an eye for an eye" is an interesting phrase in hsr because the writers have now used it in two different ways. when feixiao and moze say it to jiaoqiu after the events of the wardance, they use it with the original connotation of revenge. the impact of the phrase is amplified by the fact that jiaoqiu has literally lost his eyes, but it would apply even if he had been hurt some other way. an eye for an eye means i will avenge you.

in anaxa's case, things are a lot different. although i don't think he ever says the phrase directly, his backstory alludes to it. he sacrificed an eye (his own) for an eye (a glance at his sister). in this case, the phrase is no longer about revenge, but about equivalent exchange. an eye for an eye; you will always give just as much as you get.

i hope we get more eye symbolism in the future <3
