geeklurv is a website I've currently become affiliated with and they're hosting a contest of sorts to encourage people to subscribe. By collecting all of the cosplayers associated with the website(you can find them on the facebook page, as well as more information on the website), you can save up to 73% of your initial subscription fee(redeemable through 2013).

There are also other codes you can enter to help you save so you can continue a discounted subscription as long as you keep up with the codes.

I look forward to working more with the GL group and I'll even be able to visit more out of state conventions thanks to them. :)

Dating Tips from geeklurv - Be Honest!

Being honest with your partner from the start, even about the little things you think don't matter, will help strengthen you as a couple!

Being secretive and hiding things will just make your partner suspicious, and when they find out the truth they will be hurt by your deception. Trust is a very hard thing to win back, but very easily damaged! 

Yes, in some cases you might upset them or start a silly fight with the truth, but in the end it is much better than hiding something from the person you care about, and damaging the relationship you share in the long run!

Lying to your partner is never a good thing. Lying because you don't want to make them sad or deal with a fight is worse. I hate to break it to you, but there is no such thing as a good lie, and we all know where the road of "good intentions" leads! If you are honest and upfront with your partner about any subject, you will both be better for it. 

Honesty, while sometimes painful, is the best path to take when attempting to grow and nurture a budding relationship. If your partner feels like they can trust you from the get go, you'll always have the Clark Kent to your Lois Lane. Honesty will help the two (or three!) of you become an inseparable, unstoppable force.
