Hi! I don't have a preset, I change the shaders I use and their settings for every shot. It's taking me hours to set up shots as a result! I don't think I will end up with a proper preset, I'll likely just struggle on like this. So there's nothing to share I'm sorry!

Made an edit of the Lovestruck eyelashes, since they definitely are too much. Helas, they don't look good on all eye presets.

Might fiddle with it still a bit more, but it's probably impossible to make them work with all eye presets.

🪐 a little update on my gen 2 gameplay plans, OSA, and the sims i was sent!

so! after figuring out some logistics on how i'm opening gen 2, i think im gonna be holding off on revealing who was selected for the job until i get to that point in gameplay, so it comes up more naturally! percy and chris still need to live a little bit of life before they end up in oasis springs, and i'd like to introduce everyone naturally through gameplay rather than a random post somewhere.

otherwise, i've just finished moving all of the sims into oasis springs, decorating them their own little customized homes, and giving them their skills and jobs (and for a few sims, family members, at least for storytelling purposes!) and during that process i got super attached to all of them! so on top of all the set up, i also ended up figuring out roles for everyone to play this generation, whether that be neighbors, friends, club members, or coworkers. obviously gameplay will dictate who gets closer to percy and chris, but in general, everyone has their own lives they'll be living which i'm really happy about! it was always part of the plan, but you guys sent in such great sims that it was really easy for me to get attached :')

so in short: not gonna do a big ✨reveal✨ post just yet. gen 2 will be starting up soon though. huge thank you to everyone who sent sims in and i'm rly excited to get started!!

It's so weird for me to play it sometimes, because I know that I'm not engaging with 75% of the packs or their features, it's almost too much to try and dive into. But at the same time, when I do dive into it, oftentimes I feel like the features are kind of underdeveloped. Not all the time, of course, I think Life and Death was actually really fun and it seems like Businesses and Hobbies is pretty good, but I don't really know if I want to dive into something like Eco Lifestyle or horses with much depth, if that makes sense.

the sims 4 is...finally too overwhelming for me I think. I can't keep up with new packs and updates, the intrusive advertising is killing me, the game is riddled with bugs that make parts of it totally unplayable.

it feels so loud and so big, not to mention so incredibly bloated.

I tried to play this weekend...and I was just...frustrated playing it. It doesn't bring me joy anymore.

I might try to do something in an empty world and stay mostly cc-free (cc is ruined for me between early access, perma paywalls, entitled modders, creator kits dear GOD creator kits...it's gross).

or I might try to do stuff in ts2.

it's just hard letting this series go, letting this community go...and I don't want to leave. so I'm really trying to find a happy medium. I hope I can.

Jak: There's a lady running around the woods looking for you folk... You. Rosebud. Belo? She seems pretty worried. I think it's your mom.
