In my (very limited*) experience with Big Finish they seem incredibly allergic to making speaking non-diegetic like, if a voice is heard that is a character speaking out loud and if multiple characters are in a scene one character saying things means the other must be stood silently waiting for them to finish like. Come one we can get a bit more interesting than this
#especially compared to other audio dramas I like#like I Am In Eskew almost entirely narration; Kane and Feels switches rapidly between speech and narration and thoughts; The Silt Verses#have the famous endless stairs because a character's monologue (soliloquy?) as they walk exists in a different time frame to the actual tim#taken to walk down the stairs#get a bit silly with it!#*Storm Warning and part 1 of Neverland#also when I tried to write between up there autocorrect suggested betwixt which is a great word unfortunately this post is pretentious#enough already
