Something I’ve been thinking about lately is that small moment in “Air Turtle” where immediately after the Daves lose yet another game, Leo says how sorry he is and how he’s doing his best as the mascot. This moment is so short but it’s honestly jam-packed with a whole heap of characterization.
His need to apologize for things clearly not his fault - especially when it feels like he messes up the job he was given despite doing the best he can (the phrase “it’s not about you” takes a new meaning when this is one of the lessons to be learned from that - that he is not always solely responsible for things going wrong), his need to save face and make a connection with an older adult man in his life (something he consistently does throughout the series - he’s got a few daddy issues, always collecting potential father figures, it’s no wonder he jumps at the bit to keep rapport), and the way he sounds and looks and the words he chooses really pushes how he is just a kid (“Mr. the Dunk, I’m so sorry”).
Like I know it’s a one off moment that doesn’t truly mean much, but when put against the rest of the series it works really well with the rest of Leo’s established character and helps in solidifying later concepts as well.
#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt leo#rise leo#rottmnt headcanons#am I looking too much into things? almost assuredly yes#I actually appreciate how tim immediately goes ‘it’s not your fault’ as well? like he could’ve just blamed this 15/16 year old but he didn’t#but yeah this moment got to me a little mainly because it made me realize that Leo…DOES take responsibility for things a lot#he messes up a ton yeah but he says sorry at a pretty consistent rate#and y’know thinking about it#THIS IS TINFOIL HAT TERRITORY BE WARNED#he’s mentioned being betrayed by his brothers before - I wonder if it was something as simple as taking the fall for like#breaking something of Splinters or whatever#point is it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for him to get the full blame for something only partially his fault#or not his fault at all in some cases#like in bug busters where Raph gets mad at Leo for not getting captured with them#(I understand Raph’s mindset here a ton - Raph’s the leader and he’s likely lashing out so I don’t blame the poor kid)#but this plus the moment at the beginning of the movie#where only Leo is reprimanded despite Mikey and Donnie having full autonomy to join the fun pizza stacking#make no mistake this is not at all a diss on everyone else!!! it’s just something I noticed#I think that “it’s not about you” doesn’t just pertain to being arrogant and wanting the spotlight#I think it’s also about how responsibility is meant to be shared#and like#Leo DOES mess up a lot! so he’s honestly probably used to having the blame because it is often at least somewhat warranted#he’s specifically described as being good at apologizing after all#tldr: Leo messes up a lot of the time so he is very used to blame and attention both good and bad#even when the full blame should not be solely on his shoulders

While rereading mdzs I am once again shocked by how talked about the "you were the only mistake he ever made" line from Lan Xichen to Wei Wuxian is and how heated it gets some people because honestly... I don't think he actually even believes that.
Stay with me. Look at the actual line. (I Included 2 translations for comparison's sake)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Firstly, yes he is mad at Wei Wuxian in this scene. But his biggest moment of anger was actually before this. By this point he's realized that Wei Wuxian forgot what happened after nightless city (and therefore ISN'T stringing along his baby brother on purpose) so he has in fact calmed down a bit.
Secondly, notice that he starts by talking about how his uncle felt. This is not Lan Xichen making a value statement about what he thinks. When he says Lan Wangji was proper and righteous he is talking about him being a model lan, he's talking about their family and clan's perspective of Wangji. Indeed, in their eyes, Wei Wuxian is the only time Lan Wangji was ever not the textbook perfect Lan.
Thirdly, what is Lan Xichen trying to say here? What is he mad at Wei Wuxian for? It's that he doesn't know Lan Wangji is in love with him. His anger is eased by realizing Wei Wuxian doesn't remember the very blatant confessions lwj made in the cave after nightless city, or Lan Wangji fighting his own clan elders for Wei Wuxian, and so had no way of knowing the whipmarks on Lan Wangji's back were related to him. But he is still mad, he still thinks Wei Wuxian should have been able to figure it out. So what does he highlight?
The fact that the only thing Lan Wangji, perfect model-Lan righteous Lan Wangji, ever defies his clan for is Wei Wuxian.
And Wei Wuxian has seen him do this! Even if he doesn't remember this one instance. Because Lan Wangji has been doing that the whole story through. Wei Wuxian has watched Lan Wangji blatantly stand against the entire cultivation world for him, and here Lan Xichen is highlighting just how unusual that is, how much Wei Wuxian must mean to Lan Wangji that he's willing to do that. The important part of the sentence here is not "mistake" it's "only."
Lan Xichen here isn't trying to say that he disapproves of Wei Wuxian, or telling him to stay away from his brother. Remember, the thing that made him mad in the first place was Wei Wuxian saying that he and Lan Wangji slept in seperate rooms. He thought they were together! He's mad because they're not!
At no point does Lan Xichen say he individually considers Lan Wangji's feelings for Wei Wuxian a mistake. If he ever did, it's clear he accepted them regardless long ago. Mistake or not, what he wants is for his little brother to be happy.
#mdzs#mdzs meta#lan xichen#For the record even IF he really did think of wwx as a mistake I think he's owed a moment of pettiness!#he's wrong but when i see people cite it as a major reason they dislike him i'm like... everyone in this novel is a war criminal#but frankly that's not so relevant because looking at the text... he doesn't think that!#he's consistently pro wangxian the whole story through. this speech is literally the catalyst to wwx confessing his feelings to lwj!!#frankly for a shovel talk – which it basically is– this whole thing is MILD. there weren't even any death threats!#also!! it drive me up the all when people mistake the intentional xiyao wangxian parralels in this scene as a personal dig on lxc#Yes! Xiyao and wangxian are foils! everyone seeing wwx as a stain on hanguang-jun's reputation but the venerated triad as an honorable bond#only for wangxian to end up happy and lan xichen with both his sworn brothers dead... that's the themes baby!!! can't trust reputations!!#but then people get mad like 'wow how DARE he say that when HE liked jgy!' that's the point!! miss mxtx did that on purpose!#Also lan xichen is VERY aware at this point just how much jgy lied to him! It's not like he's still in his a-yao is innocent era#He is LITERALLY a hostage! He is processing all of this as we speak!#he's less 'YOU are a mistake and i wish wangji didn't love you! unlike me who has never trusted anyone i shouldn't'#and more 'my entire life is falling apart right now and my little brother is the only one in my family who might still get a happy ending-#WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS IN LOVE WITH YOU???'

never volunteer for anything university related man. also go listen to this
#first i thought oh it would just be this one poster. why not. i can do that. i have time. so i did#they told me the general aesthetic and no further details so i thought‚ oh‚ okay‚ so i can basically freestyle this. yknow‚ like an idiot#they told me to change the color scheme‚ the font‚ the color of the font too‚ pretty much redo the entire poster#and these are notes i would be getting late at night. like around 12-2am. i had to revise that poster a shitload of times and was#tired. and then i was done and i thought Welp! at least that's over!#little did i know they were actually planning for me to do MORE WORK: design diplomas/certificates and make one for all the people needed#So here i am 12 diplomas‚ 24 certificates‚ 31 letter of thanks later#all done in one person. all done in two days (deadline was until the end of the week but i couldnt start until at least thursday)#I couldnt start because they sent me the wrong list of people first. so i had to cram(heh) a lot. of hours of work in these past 2 days#Yknow at least they liked my design the first time and i didnt have to revise anything. but ohhhh the fucking. filling out the papers for#each person. absolutely daunting. especially in something like ibispaint x that doesnt have an option to align text to the center#of the canvas. which is more my fault because i am an ibispaint x user. but anyway#They sent me the correct official document. it had incomplete information because they just didnt write patronymics or grades in the#official document. so i had to go and check the first table and figure out everyone's information myself#but the thing is that‚ that table must've been written by the students/participants because stuff like Name Of University wasn't consistent#some literally wrote their school's names wrong and i had to double-check that and fix that for the certificates. fine. whatever#but remember the official document? now imagine it even MORE incomplete because there is a list of at least 10 people and just their#SURNAMES AND INITIALS. so like a digital archeologist i had to go and dig up the names and patronymics of teachers and students i've never#heard of in my fucking life. i had to ask my older friends like Hey is there any chance you know the patronymic of your groupmate thanks???#and the cherry on top. is that the Official Document has a bunch of grammatical errors in it. the most fucking basic ones.#'анастасие' instead of 'анастасии'‚ 'преподователь' instead of 'преподаватель'#so i had to look out for those TOO‚ While Tired (i almost copied the mistakes because all of my work required referencing the doc#but they couldnt even write a fucking grammatically correct or consistent doc so that's nice)#anyways i sent all 67 files and my supervisor said she will look over them 'during the evening'#I dont know what her fucking definition of evening is considering it's already 6pm. i guess i expect to be messaged at 2am once more to fix#some inconsequential bullshit#let's just say i am just a liiiiiittle bit . just sliiightly . burnt out#Call me a vessel the way im full of void but also completely hollow#alas . at least there is fanmade threat music to listen to on loop#crammerposting

I'm really not vibing with whatever staff is doing now. Not only does there seem to be a total internal communication breakdown, there also seems to be an absolute disregard for how the players are affected by this.
Like, ignoring the fact that the consistency argument doesn't even hold water, their takeaway from the Fern/Paisley thread seems to have been "oh we gotta change Breakup and Hypnotic too!!"
And then completely reversing Sandsurge Blend on top of that? A gene that's been out for over half a year and was only listed as having the gradient softened, not reversed? Just a total failure to communicate and an absolute bullheadedness in pushing the changes through despite the very reasonable player concerns?
To top it all off, none of these are bug changes, they are style changes. Someone saw these genes before they went live, greenlighted them, and put them in the game. And now, months upon months later, someone else (presumably) says "fuck that, I want the gene to look like this instead" and that complete change is just... pushed through??
Like. Did they learn nothing from the Butterfly debacle, from Obelisk Flair, hell, from the Eyepocalypse?
What the fuck is going on behind the scenes?

vows and vengeance spoilers (not sure how people are tagging that yet, but be aware)
it feels very obvious that the ritual went as intended, right? this would not be the first time Solas pretended to be trustworthy in order to convince someone to do what he wanted, regardless of collateral. I find it VERY hard to believe that he would track down the Eye and know so much about its history and how it reacts to magic and not be prepared for what would happen
(and also I’m tired of the conceit being that his plans keep getting interrupted or something unexpected happens. it makes him seem incompetent lol)

ur into epic the musical right . should i like. listen to/watch(???) that..........
i know like one singular song bc someone used it for a corrupt purevani animatic and im lowkey insane abt it so like....... Are There More Banger Songs
YES YES OH MY GOD YES I AM SO SERIOUS YES. BECOME BRAINROTTED WITH ME. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SONG IN EPIC I WOULD EVEN CONSIDER BELOW AVERAGE IT ALL GOES INSANELY HARD YOULL LOVE IT HERE
giving you a ✨beginners guide to epic✨ for your initiation! assuming you know absolutely nothing for this bgfrbgf
so epic is a concept album for a musical adaptation of the odyssey. the only "official" material is the music itself, some stage directions from the livestreams, and official animatics (which i dont reccomend for your first experience with epic). its also fully sung through (think hamilton), so theres no dialogue between scenes. so dont worry about missing anything! the whole thing is broken into 9 albums called sagas. in order, these are called troy, cyclops, ocean, circe, underworld, thunder, wisdom, vengeance, and ithaca. dont worry about them really, since theyre all released at this point its only relevant for discussion, and youll pick it up pretty quickly if you go insane about them <3
as for a first experience of epic, id suggest watching animatics, because sometimes it can be very hard to follow the story without visuals. i have a personal playlist i reccomend to people of my favorite animatics, which you can find here. its like 2 hours long, but if you want to break it up, act 1 ends at the song monster and has a nebulous time skip afterwards, so thats a pretty nice point to take a break. or you can listen to one saga at a time if youre a freak like that, theyre all about 15 minutes long id say
after you do that, if youre a fan and wanna get involved, id personally reccomend skimming through some of jorge's tiktoks/shorts going over details about epic first. theres a lot of fun trivia there and a lot of the popular jokes in the fandom come straight from him.
if you need any elaboration on anything lmk! i will explain basically anything :>

pspspspsps over the last week i wrote this rough n 'small' bellum x linebeck thing so here
The sun had long set, but Linebeck was still busy. The closest lights were some dim lanterns down in the port town, but his ship was too far down the dock for them to illuminate it. Any lights within his ship were either extinguished or away from windows. Linebeck didn’t want to draw attention to himself, and he figured it was dark enough for him to go unnoticed while he finished mopping the deck.
He'd been working since he stopped at the island- he’d gotten stuck in a storm, then attacked by some pirates, and still had his usual maintenance to do. Linebeck paused by the prow and surveyed the deck. All of the necessary repairs had been finished before nightfall, and cleaning was what he was left with, and his insomnia prompted him to keep working as the moon rose.
Linebeck placed the mop in its bucket and leaned it against the railing. Clean enough for the night. He could better judge it in the morning.  He rubbed his hands together and exhaled slowly. It was beginning to get a big chilly in this part of the seas, and it was more obvious at night. His hands and feet and back and arms and neck and- goddesses, everything was sore. He groaned and fished around in his coat’s pockets for a cigarette.
He turned away from the island to hide the flame of his lighter while he lit his cigarette. Linebeck’s steamship was dwarfed by the anchored pirate ships flanking it. It was a quiet night, but he didn’t trust that he was entirely safe. He hid as many signs of life as possible, and stared into the water beyond his ship’s bow as he recalled what he did and didn’t remember to do. Once his deck dried, he needed to check the hull over. Check for barnacles or damage or… just to soothe his nerves.
He flinched upon hearing a distant creaking of wood but dismissed it. Linebeck took a long drag from his cigarette and watched the faint smoke trail off into the air. He’d caught himself getting awfully nonchalant where he was ordinarily paranoid, but he did have his safety net of sorts. Linebeck grinned to himself, his thoughts drifting as he glanced down at the water. Calling out would be too loud, and it was too dark to see if anything lurked below the water. He moved to crouch at the edge of the deck but straightened up when he heard footsteps behind him.
Linebeck turned and backed up against the prow, faced with half a dozen pirates quietly boarding his ship. They all froze a moment when they saw that he’d noticed them, but continued slinking along the deck, armed and easily outnumbering the lone sailor. Linebeck managed a nervous smile and raised his hands, hoping that the smoke and the tiny light from his cigarette wouldn’t give away how much he was trembling. “H-hey, now, I’m sure there are better targets on this dock- hell, I can give you some recommendations-”
“We ain’t takin’ recommendations,” the leader- a large Rito man- gruffly snapped.
Linebeck cringed. “Well, I’m sure I’m not the best mark on this island, I’m good but I’m a bit short on anything worth plundering tonight.” He peered past the main group and spotted one at the door into the cabin. She yanked on the knob and hissed, just barely audible to him, “Locked, boss.”
The boss gave a quick nod, not looking away from Linebeck. His gaze was intense and sharp, and Linebeck’s smiled faltered; a nearby splash that meant nothing to his assailants and everything to him calmed his nerves.
He tilted his head as the Rito man spoke again, creeping closer with his saber aimed at Linebeck’s chest. “Seems someone’s got it out for you, paid us to get rid of you. From what I hear, lots o’ people want you dead.”
Linebeck resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Another targeted hit? And for what, pissing a few people off, robbing a few others? He supposed it was for the better that most didn’t know any more than that.
He backed up until he was practically leaning against the prow. The pirates slunk closer to him across the deck, most of their features hidden by the shadows, and Linebeck felt his fear return. Any time, now…
Something wrapped tightly around his right ankle, and all of the pirates lunged at him. He nearly stumbled off of his ship and raised his hands to try and block the Rito man’s saber, and in the same instant he felt the tentacle around his ankle slither up around his leg, the other four tentacles shot up from the surrounding waters and coiled tightly around each pirate’s necks. The three closest to the cabin all stumbled together, all caught by the same tentacle that violently yanked them back and snapped their necks. Each of the other pirates met the same fate, strangled in seconds.
The Rito was momentarily spared as he managed to just barely duck out of the way and slash into Linebeck’s outstretched hands. The tentacle doubled back and tried to catch the Rito by the neck, but he was just too deft and got away with his sword yanked into the ocean. Linebeck grabbed at the nearby railing to catch his balance and winced in pain.
The Rito leader tackled Linebeck without hesitation. He slammed Linebeck against the prow, and for a moment the two struggled to find enough room to throw a punch. The Rito moved quicker and slugged Linebeck in the jaw. He stumbled and tasted blood in his mouth, but clung to the pirate’s shirt even as he was socked in the nose. Linebeck coughed and stumbled and nearly toppled off the ship again. Finally, a tentacle caught the Rito leader and broke his neck before he even shouted in surprise. Linebeck watched him crumple to the deck.
The quiet finally returned, accompanied by the gentle sounds of the ocean- then a louder splash closer to Linebeck. He stumbled over to the railing and leaned heavily over, squinting down and meeting the eye of Bellum, staring up at him after the mess of a struggle. Blood dripped from Linebeck’s nose and onto Bellum’s eye. Bellum shut his mouth over his eye and opened it again to return Linebeck’s gaze.
Linebeck scowled down at Bellum. “Took you long enough this time. Not so fun to play with them when I end up getting hurt.”
The tentacle around his leg withdrew and seemed to give him a pat on the back. Linebeck rolled his eyes and managed to straighten up and turned to the bodies on his deck. Six of them in total, three of them- counting the leader- were Rito, one was a Zora, one a Gerudo, one a Hylian. He rubbed at the forming bruise on the side of his jaw. Bellum rose up out of the water high enough to be seen by Linebeck as he checked each body, leaving the leader for the last.
Each were dead, and once he moved on from one to check another, Bellum dragged the inspected body into the water for his own consumption. From then, Bellum would either eat them and leave no remains, or simply drain whatever life force he could from them and leave them at the bottom of the sea as statues. It was more likely that he’d drain them and move on; he’d eaten recently, and they weren’t likely to stick around at the island for much longer. Not to mention, Linebeck would be too busy recovering to do anything to improve on the meat.
Linebeck, turning to the body of the Rito, kicking at a limp leg once he reached it. He sneered down at it, then winced as pain shot through his entire head. Behind him, he heard Bellum dragging the other bodies into the water. He glanced over at him and, making a realization, whispered, “Thanks for locking the door.”
Bellum just blinked in response and continued with his business. Linebeck frowned, a little disappointed by the lack of reaction. He started to stand, and Bellum, looking back over at him, rolled his eye and disappeared from sight into the water. Linebeck stuffed his hands in his coat pockets, now feeling properly dejected. Then, a splash occurred behind him and Bellum, having transitioned into a smaller size, gliding through the water and the air to join Linebeck at his shoulder.
Linebeck opened his mouth to say something with honest appreciation to Bellum, but stopped when prodded with a tentacle, another pointing down at the leader’s body. Linebeck rolled his eyes and reached up to touch Bellum, but he dodged his hand and hovered closer to the body, and the sailor finally obliged and crouched at the dead leader’s head.
He spotted nothing at first, but Bellum finally made a frustrated gurgle and grabbed Linebeck’s hand with a tentacle and yanked it (gently and carefully) close to the Rito’s face.  Distracted a mite by the way Bellum was very clearly caressing his hand and gingerly tracing the cut in it, Linebeck didn’t immediately catch onto their problem. The Rito, blood leaking from his beak and his body completely still, was staring up at Bellum, and his eyes slowly followed his movements.
“Shit,” Linebeck muttered. “You didn’t- you just paralyzed him? Come on, how many people have you killed up until now?” Bellum patted his hand and kept staring down at the Rito. When Linebeck didn’t move, Bellum slipped one of his other tentacles into the man’s coat and grabbed his hidden knife, brandishing it to him with the handle right above the Rito’s neck. With a scowl, Linebeck grabbed the knife, grumbling, “If I get blood on the deck, you’re cleaning it up.”
While Linebeck lowered himself onto his knees, removing his coat and rolling up his sleeves, Bellum phased a tentacle through the ship’s deck and rummaged around in the storage room below. Cutting the neck was the safest bet- though there was also stabbing him through the eye. Linebeck held the Rito’s head to the deck and compared the width of his knife and the pirate’s eyes.
He rolled the Rito onto his back and decided on the left eye. Linebeck pressed his knee down on the Rito’s chest and carefully positioned his knife above the eye, muttering irritably to himself all the while. His knife was one he picked up a while ago, well-made and sharp with a nice, serrated edge, crafted for survival, and Linebeck, with his infinite paranoia, decided it was the best type to hold onto when he spent most of his time alone in the middle of the ocean. He mostly used it for killing stubborn fish or cutting rope. After meeting Bellum, he’d discovered its effectiveness in murder.
Bellum flew into sight, having retrieved his notepad and pencil. Linebeck paused to read when had been written in a shaky script: I believe in you! With a roll of his eyes, Linebeck prepared to kill the Rito, with Bellum adding something to his note in his peripheral. The Rito’s terrified eyes shot between the knife, Bellum, and Linebeck. He opened his beak and the two of them acted instantly; Bellum wrapped all of his available tentacles around his beak and clamped it shut, and Linebeck drove his knife straight into the eye until the other went blank.
Linebeck waited a long while before slowly removing his knife and held it over the body for a few moments. Then, he wiped it clean on the finally-dead Rito’s shirt, and carefully sheathed it. He shifted off of the body and started to stand but swayed as pain washed over him. Bellum quickly rushed over and pressed against Linebeck’s side to help him stay standing. Linebeck coughed and wiped away more blood on his upper lip.
Standing with Bellum’s support, Linebeck squinted around at the island and surrounding ships. No new lights, no new movement. Bellum would have told him if he sensed any witnesses.
He groaned and peered at the cuts in his hands; as he lifted them, Bellum wrapped a tentacle around each arm and inspected both wounds with their eyes. Linebeck turned his gaze to the deck to check for any blood. He’d just gotten done cleaning it and was not in the mood to have to mop up blood.
No blood, but he caught Bellum’s addition to his encouraging note: a poorly-drawn heart that had been abandoned just before it was finished. Linebeck managed a quiet laugh and nudged the notepad with his boot. “Don’t forget that out here.”
His cigarette, however, was nowhere to be seen. He’d forgotten it somewhere in the struggle, and fearing a fire, started to stumble back to the prow. Bellum cut his search short and pointed at the water.
“…I dropped it into the water?”
The eye in the tentacle around his left arm blinked once.
“You’re sure-”
Another solitary blink. Linebeck sighed. “Right, right. Take, uh, the body somewhere. I need to get some rest.”
Bellum left his side and started dragging the last body into the water. Linebeck watched him a moment, then started dragging his feet over to his cabin. What a long, miserable night. His hands burned, and the lingering taste of blood in his mouth was sure to haunt him into the morning. His nose didn’t feel broken, thank the gods- Linebeck jumped as Bellum returned to him and settled on his shoulder, much smaller than before.
Bellum, now the size of Linebeck’s palm held his notepad and pencil close to his body. The rest of his tentacles carefully coiled around the rest of Linebeck’s body, holding onto his limbs and wrapping around his waist and chest, one tentacle ending square over his heart. Comforting and familiar, though only occurring at night or out of sight of other life and civilization. Stopped at his cabin door, Linebeck lifted his arm with a tentacle gently around it, and the end tucked into his palm, covering the wound. The eye in the tentacle blinked up at him, and Linebeck brought it to his lips and kissed it. Bellum’s grip on the rest of his body tightened for just a moment.
The deck was clean, and there was no evidence remaining. No witnesses and no remaining bodies. Any suggestion of what had happened would be limited to the disappearance of the dead, but Linebeck and Bellum would leave and avoid the area for long enough for everything to be forgotten. They’d be safe and free to do as they please, like normal.
Linebeck smiled to himself and turned the doorknob. Then, he sighed heavily and shut his eyes. He turned it again, and then a second time, then whispered, “Could you unlock the door?”
There was no movement from either of them for a moment, then Bellum reached through the cabin wall and Linebeck heard the faint ‘click’ of the lock and opened the door.

"It's 100 percent certain I will race in 2009, unless I win every race next year," the Italian told Motosprint magazine. "I've never considered quitting, otherwise I would have done that in 2006 and maybe I would have gone to Formula One. But I didn't, and it's not just for one or two years. I'm staying, I hope, for at least five years." The 28-year-old Italian has a year of his Yamaha contract left to run and will be hoping to bounce back in 2008 following a disappointing 2007 season. Rossi won just four races to champion Casey Stoner's 10, and the Yamaha rider went on to finish in third place in the standings behind the Australian and Honda's Dani Pedrosa. The five-time MotoGP champion admits it has been tough watching Stoner being the fastest rider on track. "For sure this hasn't been one of my best seasons," he added. "It's been a tough year, different from the previous one when I was often the fastest but I lost through mistakes and bad luck. This year Stoner has always been quicker than us, bar a few exceptions. "It's been tough. Casey has gone quick and hasn't made mistakes, and that's been a surprise, because we knew already he was quick. He fully deserves the title. We will try to challenge him in 2008."
