So a client came in that went to another shop to have her nipples pierced. She came in having pain in the healing piercings and asked if we had barbells. Upon investigating I discovered they had put 1/2" externally threaded cbb that you see pictured in both her nipples. The anatomy required 5/8" Straight barbells to sit comfortably. The amount of distortion and indentation in the tissue with the former jewelry in it was a hint to how much pain she must have endured due to the other shops ignorance. Not all piercers are created equal.
