Things I don't understand -

I went to Wegmans last night to get coffee and stamps for my wife. I was wearing my standard, "I don't give a fuck" attire, consisting of hiking shoes, gym shorts, plain green t-shirt and my battle vest which is resplendent in both band and historic military patches. Plus my Pirates hat. While at the service desk, this mom starts walking past me after just cashing out. She gives me this look- eyebrows dart up and she mouths the word "ooh" and smiles. Then walks away. Keep in mind, I'm HAPPILY married and my wedding ring is always shining and on my left hand, which was facing said mom. Anyways, I'm still waiting in line at the service desk. ANOTHER mom- this time with child and Carhart-clad husband (who didn't look like he ever worked a job where he needed Carhart attire but I digress). Her kid kinda stumbles near me, and she steadied him, and then looks up and me and gives me a grin- you know the type I'm talking about- and says "oh I'm sorry." I'm like "no worries!" Carhart dad is shooting me a look like he wanted to decapitate me. I discussed this with my wife when she got home last night. I never used to notice it when women checked me out, but my wife does. And now that SHE points it out when it happens when her and I are together, I notice it now just on my own. Part of me is flattered, but the rest of me is like "begone, devil woman!" I ain't religious at all, but my wife is my wife. She's the only one for me and I don't know how else I can let these other women know that. And keep in mind I don't think I'm God's gift to women or anything. I used to be a larger guy, husky. I'm a rail now, but I don't think I'm a looker!

don't know what makes me happier: the extremely awesome indo-chinese manchurians I just ate, or the super artsy vibe that incheon's exuded. or the fact that there was a server who may/may not have been taller than me.
