Idea that I love but will never do anything with:

Young Just Us no-capes au where they're just weird teenagers who have a Buzzfeed Unsolved-esque YouTube channel where they go over cold cases and search for ghosts.

mindy horror (?) au where mini is part of a ghost hunting agency, and is one of the most valuable agents: because not only can she see and communicate with ghosts, she can control them.

rudy's the up-and-coming musician whose grandfather recently died and suspects that his home is being haunted by several ghosts who want to kill him. since his family has been longtime clients with the ghost hunting agency, mini, their top agent, is assigned to his case.

at first, she gains a crush on him (Pretty Boy Winked At Me) but the minute this motherfucker opens his mouth and says something so goddamn self-absorbed that she thinks, "wait. do i actually like him?"

anyway, she's assigned to his case, and he promises a large payout, (something that will help her quit the agency and pursue her dream of becoming a doctor), but that doesn't explain why so many ghosts want to kill this dude. like, yeah, he's obnoxious, but that doesn't warrant having so many ghost-assassins out for his blood.

so they both have to figure out why the fuck so many dead people want him dead, and how to keep him safe. in the process, they fall in love.

Hm .... Mighty Nein Ghosthunter AU?

“Are you sure this is safe, Beau?  It looks … kind of rickety.”

“You want to go ghosthunting and you’re fucking scared of the infrastructure?”

Beau and Jester were standing at the front steps of the looming Carlisle Mansion.  In the deep dark of the hours, out here on a hill, far outside town, the mansion was mostly a monstrous shadow, looming, almost invisible, against the night sky.  Jester’s head was craned back to stare upward at the multiple floors, while Beau shifted her backpack to her other shoulder.

“I’m not scared!” said Jester, “I just don’t want to break my legs falling through a rotting floor.  We’re in the middle of nowhere!”

“Yeah, but we’re not exactly alone.”  Beau glanced over her shoulder and gave a shout.  “Hey, Fjord!  What’s keeping the rest of you?”

Fjord was tramping up the broken and cracked driveway, Yasha and Caduceus and Caleb and Nott just behind.  They’d had to walk a good couple miles from where they’d hidden their beat-up van.  Fjord and Caduceus looked fine, but both Caleb and Nott (Nott with a massive pack strapped to her back) looked a little worse for wear already.

“Guess we just don’t have the boundless energy of fulltime athlete and a sugar fiend,” said Fjord as he planted himself next to Beau and looked up.  “So, this is the place, huh?  Looks like a wreck.”

“Ja,” said Caleb, swinging his pack off his back, “How sure are you about this place?”

“As sure as I am that some dude chopped up his family and scattered their bits all over the house.”

Beau suddenly realized that everyone was staring at her, eyes wide.

“I told you I had a good candidate.”  Everyone was still staring.  “I told you it was the Carlisle Mansion.”  They continued to stare.  “Jesus fucking Christ, are you telling me you never heard of the Carlisle murders?”

“Beau,” began Jester, “You said you had a good candidate for a haunted house, you didn’t say it was like a demon house or something!”

Beau gesticulated wildly at the mansion.  “You wanted ghosts.  Ghosts go where evil shit happens, right!?”

ooo this is such a fun question!! i think out of my older fics i hold a quiet love for paper/plastic so much and also wildest dreams <3

my favorite out of my newer fics is definitely the slasher fic lmao i LOVE writing horror but also the parks and rec fic is sooo gooey and funny and the conchell was SO fun in that one (one day i swear i will post the fancy party scene oh my god) but !!! in terms of talking over fics the space fic has infected me with brain worms and i could talk about it forever and ever hahaha
