Casual Encounter || Marlin & Sharron
@ghostlyoracle
His first night on Arcadia hadn’t been the most spectacular of evenings. He’d gotten the keys to his apartment. He’d tossed his mattress on the floor with some sheets and shoved all the boxes to the corner and elected to ignore his lack of furniture, as well as the spider that had already made a home in the corner.
He liked spiders. That one could stay.
The window lock had been broken, so he’d taken the time to fix it himself with a few spare things he picked up from the carpenter’s down the road - why trust someone with something you could do yourself? The double locks on the door had been suspect, but they’d do fine - Marlin barely slept as it was, and when he did, he slept lighter than anyone he’d ever met. If someone found their way into his apartment, it was doubtful they’d be leaving perfectly intact.
Other than that, he needed to find a place or two to work, so he could lay low until time to move on once more, and that was how he found himself at The Blue Horseshoe, a quiet little bar that looked to be hurting for bartenders, if the lack of service he received for the first minute he’d been there was of any indication. He sent a look to the person nearest him - a white-haired woman sitting one stool away from him, and he nodded to the drink in her hand. “Is that strong enough to kill a man?” A man could dream, at least. “I’m considering it for myself, if the bartender ever gets half a second.”

Seraph Sighted || Sharron & Gray
@ghostlyoracle
-1,000G for Trip to Arcadia
The weekend usually signified rest and recuperation to most, but not for Gray. He took the opportunity to secure passage across the sea to Arcadia in an attempt to gain an edge on his craft. He didn’t know much about the island, but figured no better place to start than the locals.
Gray spent most of the morning wandering around the port, taking in the scenery. It was a much different atmosphere than Leuda. It reminded Gray of home--the small village he’d left behind. While he looked around Gray knew instantly he liked this island better. Most people seemed laid back and less high strung. Leuda was like a city in island form. A constant headache.
While he was getting his bearings and scoping out the land there was a smart smack against his leg. He looked down to see a cane strike him. Annoyance furrowed his brow as he turned to give the person a piece of his mind--but all thoughts left his head.
His mouth hung agape as he stared at the woman before him. She was still taller than him and still as beautiful as he remembered from that fateful night. But, what was an angel doing here? In broad daylight? Holding a cane?
“Y-you--?” was all Gray could get out as he gawked at the angel from his past.

Ghostly Reunion? || Leon & Sharron
@ghostlyoracle
Leon normally didn’t come to Arcadia; although he admitted, he did hold it in quite a point of interest, given it was magic based, and well, Leon had quite a bit of magic himself. What possessed him not to live on Arcadia? Well, it really had been just that; his life has always revolved around magic, and although he certainly used it on a daily basis still, it wasn’t something he really actively thought about. His own power was still applicable, even though it certainly wasn’t nearly as strong on Leuda as on Arcadia.
But he didn’t dislike Arcadia. He simply just hadn’t come often- although when he did, it always proved to be a beautiful island that was enjoyable, and he certainly liked the scenery.
He had just come off at the port not too long ago, so a stroll along the beach was in order. After all, there was no real reason to head to the hotel or inn just yet. Besides, he wasn’t in the least bit tired.
He sighed a little bit as he walked along, looking up at the sky and feeling the cool brisk autumn air flow through his hair and hit his body. It was a lovely night, calming, relaxing...
Until he saw something...no, someone, that made him come to an abrupt halt.
He looked out and saw a woman with pale white hair and skin, standing and looking out at the sea. Surely...that couldn’t be who he thought it was? No, that seemed impossible...so many years had passed. Perhaps it was a ghost? That wasn’t necessarily out of the question. Or was it a hallucination? Either way, his skin pricked. His first instinct was to turn around and walk away. But something told him otherwise.
After waiting a few moments, he walked out towards the white, almost motionless figure.

“Sharron....?”

5: Already Answered
6. Their vices (physical or emotional)
Evelyn likes drinking. A lot. Like she doesn’t drink as often as she did when she was younger, but when she does drink, she tends to go all out. Go big or go home. And when she goes home, she will need some assistance.
If burying emotions is a vice, Evelyn’s rich in it
She enjoys The Sex a lot. She was a wild child, boi
7. Their tickle spots
Feet

@ghostlyoracle
He felt it the moment she set foot again upon the islands, the hairs standing on the back of his neck as he rose from his bed. Eyes would glance towards the roof, being met with only the dirt of the cave ceiling. Yet that wasn’t what he was looking at... It was not obvious, but he was looking up towards the sky beyond the dirty ceiling of the cave.
He takes a deep breath, before bolting faster out of the cave than he’s ever run before. He was fortunate to avoid the town, else he’d be caught running like a mad man as he made a mad dash towards the island Arcadia... And it took him only ten minutes before he finally arrived at the forest...
The forest that had once been his home.
“Haa... Haaa...”
He’s huffing as he tries to regain his breath, looking towards the door. A hand reaches towards the door as he straightened himself out. He hesitates for a moment, before practically bursting through the door.
“SHARRON!”

No Such Thing || Forte & Sharron
@ghostlyoracle
The first early morning rays were filtered through a light fog as her feet hit the pavement. It was chilly, but her fleece leggings and long-sleeved shirt were enough to retain sufficient body heat to keep her from freezing once she got going. She loved the early mornings for their silence, the only sounds were of her feet hitting the pavement, and her breathing as she tried to control it.
Every morning she tried to run in a different direction to better learn the lay of the land. That morning she had been unknowingly running toward the mountain, toward the forest. As she scanned its edge, something caught her eye. A figure in the distance? It was hard to tell from farther away.
In an almost trance-like state she continued to run, until about thirty feet away she could see it a little clearer. The sight stopped her in her tracks, and her eyes widened. It certainly had the appearance of a rather tall person, but with a spectral quality. Forte suddenly realized where she was, and the legends associated with the place.
There’s no such thing as ghosts, there’s no such thing as ghosts. She rubbed her eyes, repeating to herself. When she opened them, though, the figure was still there. What if it was a ghost? what was she supposed to do? You can’t fight ghosts with a sword. She could run, but was frozen in place. All she could do was stare, and hope it went the other way.
#forte you giant baby#it's just a pale lady#goodness she's so jumpy O.O#pi:sharron#pi:closed#ghostlyoracle#No Such Thing

10.) Fears/phobiasElliott’s strongest fears are mostly emotional. He fears becoming obsolete in any way, but especially as an author - it’s what he considers his one talent, something he’s working very hard every day to perfect, and losing any standing as an author would be unacceptable. He fears when he will be old and gray, that if he’s ancient and ugly he’ll have no ability to draw eyes or keep anyone around him. He fears actually caring about someone enough to be broken when he inevitably loses them - because he will, as nothing is permanent. He’s petrified of the mere idea of ever being a father - he had no parents or authority figures ever once in his life, so how would he possibly raise them? He has misgivings about the sea, but owning his own boat is slowly tamping that down.
16.) Dark secrets/’skeletons in the closet’
He’s humiliated by the fact that he doesn’t feel any yearning or even curiosity about who his parents were, and he’s in no hurry to find any extended family. He believes that he’s better off as a lone wolf, but admitting that he wouldn’t wish for his parents to be alive feels cold to him, and he worries how other people would take it.
20.) What-ifs/Alternate Timelines
---Elliott marries the girl who took his virginity in his twenties as a spur of the moment wedding chapel ceremony, then has to slowly discover - much to his horror - that he’s polyamorous as fuck, and what the hell that means when he isn’t sure his wife is monogamous or not.---Elliott as a merman - his parents were killed in a strange boating/fishing spree, and he grew up wild and untamed in the ocean, fostered by whales and dolphins. His journey to the shore, to the humans, and, much to his surprise, that he...is capable of transforming his tail into legs, if he focuses hard enough.---Elliott who actually got adopted from the orphanage, or even fostered, rather than being left there while others were claimed due to his tendency to avoid those who came looking to adopt. A potential familial figure who shows Elliott that his self worth isn’t solely in his ability to write or be handsome.

7. Their tickle spots
Armpits
That’s all I have to say about that lol
11. Bad or petty habits
It’s common for Calvin to skip meals, especially when he’s getting really invested in a project or just going down the rabbit hole.
He also puts off shaving sometimes, especially when he’s busy
20. What-ifs/Alternate Timelines
One what-if is if Calvin never got a scholarship to the university on the mainland. If he hadn’t gotten that scholarship, he would have gotten stuck on Arcadia until the Explorer’s Guild was set up. He would have graduated with his two year and maybe started a few jobs with the intention of saving up to go travel or go to that very university. The jobs would have been at a farm and at the Arcadian school teaching an English class. Every time he would have enough money saved up, something would come up that would force him to spend it.
Another what-if is if his father had remained with his mother and eventually married her. I’m not entirely sure how it would affect him personally since I haven’t thought much into who his father is, but there are a few factors that would change. A) He would have been much closer to his mother’s family, since all but one of her brothers basically treated her like garbage for having a child out of wedlock and B) his childhood would have been a lot easier monetarily-wise since it wouldn’t just be his mother raising him.

“Are you sure?” | Ignis & Sharron
@ghostlyoracle
Staring at the woman in front of him, Ignis tries his hardest not to think about how much trouble they’re likely to get in. Glass of moonshine in his hand, he shifts slightly from foot to foot, uncertain if the two of them drinking is such a good idea right now. It’s been too long since he’s had something this strong to drink, and if he’s not careful Sharron might push him past his limits. Limits they’ve tried to break several times over the past two thousand years with no success.
“ Please tell me again why you think this is a good idea? “
