From Sci-Fi to Reality: The Potential for Real-Life Mecha Inspired by Gundam!
I've watched mecha anime, the seriesVoltes V,Robotech, Video Senshi Laserion. In fact the great experience is watching Gundam anime.
In recent years, advances in robotics, artificial intelligence, and engineering have brought the idea of real-life mecha closer to reality. Inspired by iconic series like Gundam, researchers and engineers are exploring the possibilities of creating large, human-piloted robots. While we may not have fully functional Gundams yet, the progress made so far is promising. Let's delve into the current developments and the potential future of real mecha.
It happened during 2018
In Japan, engineer Masaaki Nagumo always dreamed of climbing into his very own Mobile Suit Gundam mecha. As an adult, he finally made that dream a reality.
Photos below:Sakakibara Kikai

He created the 28-foot-tall, 7-tonne-heavy LW-Mononofu robot as a project for his employer, industrial machinery maker Sakakibara Kikai, in Japan’s Gunma Prefecture. The metal colossus took six years to finish, and is probably the world’s largest anime-inspired robot that you can actually ride in and control. It can move its arms and fingers, turn its upper body, and walk forward and backward at a snail-like speed of 1km/hour. As any respectable mecha, it also has a weapon – a metal gun that fires sponge balls at a speed of 87 mph.T
The LW Mononofu can be powered by both a 200-volt AC electricity source and a 24-volt DC battery. Its cockpit features levers, pedals and buttons that the rider can use to control the movements of the robot, as well as monitors showing live footage shot by cameras installed at five points on its gigantic body.
its only con is that it can't leave the hangar it was built in, because it is higher than the large door. It has to be dismantled to be taken out…
Despit this the enthuthiasts are determined to make the Giant mecha a real.
Well, thanks to the japanese company called Tsubame Industry, that dream is nearly becoming reality. Well, if we can afford paying it, of course. The small Japanese startup recently showcased its newest product, dubbed ‘ARCHAX’, a pilotable robot inspired by Japanese mecha culture. Standing a whopping 4.5 meters tall and weighing around 3.5 tons, this real-life mecha is powered by a 300V battery and can switch from a standing mode to drivable mode, attaining a top speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
Nonetheless,if someone desires to undergo the thrilling journey with the ARCHAX, he has to pay an estimated 400 million yen ($2.75 million) for one.

It's name is inspired by that of the flying dinosaur Archeopteryx – was recently showcased in a series of videos posted by Tsubame Industry, and the Japanese startup announced that a working version will be presented at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 (formerly the Tokyo Motor Show) in November. As for when the mecha will hit the market, a Tsubame spokesperson said that it is expected to be available in about a year. However, considering the high price tag, the company is targeting wealthy foreign billionaires as potential clients.
Being made of iron and aluminum alloy, while the outer shell consists mainly of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic). Although the head appears to feature a large camera, it is only for show. In reality, the pilot maneuvering the ARCHAX will have footage captured by 26 different cameras mounted all over the mecha fed into a number of monitors inside the cockpit. The control panel is reportedly similar to that of construction machinery, consisting of two joysticks, a number of pedals, and a touchscreen. Interestingly, the ARCHAX can also be remote-operated.
This mecha can move at a speed of 2 km/h, and in drive mode that speed is increased to 10 km/h. It’s not exactly soaring through the air like in video games, but it’s better than just standing still. It can tilt forward a maximum of 20 degrees in stand-up mode and 30 degrees in drive mode, to ensure that it doesn’t fall over. If these values are exceeded, the system shuts down to prevent serious accidents. The mecha is subject to risk assessment in accordance with the safety regulations of construction machinery and robots. His mechanical arms have 5 movable fingers, and it can grab a variety of things, still the weight of them is limited to 15 kilograms, for safety reasons. Trying to lift something heavy could cause the mecha to topple, putting the pilot at risk and damaging it.
Conclusion
The journey from science fiction to reality is a challenging but exciting path. While we may not see fully operational Gundams patrolling our cities in the immediate future, the advancements in robotics, AI, and engineering are bringing us closer to realizing the dream of real-life mecha. The fusion of technology and imagination continues to push the boundaries of what is possible, making the future of mecha an exhilarating topic to watch.

mostly I prefer to play in the space and explore/ build on flavor text given by the books rather than outright reject or contradict it wrt things like races and classes in dnd but once in awhile I'll suddenly remember that canonically lizardfolk don't experience emotions and only respond to threats by logically assessing them as such because they're too primitive to feel fear
#FEAR? FEAR BRO???#YOU THINK TACTICALLY ANALYZING WHETHER A GIANT BEAST TRYING TO KILL YOU IS A PROBLEM IS *MORE PRIMITIVE* THAN *FEELING FEAR???*#WHEN YOU SEE A LIZARD OR A BUG NOTICE YOU AND START RUNNING AWAY DO YOU THINK IT'S GOING#'ah I see-- a much larger animal has noticed me. it may wish to predate me or it may simply pose an unintentional threat by being so large'#AND NOT 'AAAAAAAH!! AAAAAAAAAAHH!!!' ????????#IT'S BAD WORLDBUILDING MAN LMAO IT'S A SWING AND A MISS FOR ME DAWG!!!#my PERSONAL take on this is that lizardfolk don't EXPRESS feelings the same way other humanoids do#and also culturally feel differently than a lot of other peoples#which leads to the perception by others that they don't Feel-#which coincidentally is convenient for other peoples particularly in positions of power to be able to abuse and exploit them#lizardfolk make GREAT manual laborers and footsoldiers :) they literally can't feel pain or fear :))#like. with warforged you can play in that space because 'do/ can they Feel' is classic robot shit because it makes sense for what robots are#lizardfolk is people. like that's not even a supernatural being within the fantasy setting that's a normal-ass animal the same as a human#'they don't feel love' okay fine that seems pretty maladaptive for a species that apparently builds societies but fine#'they don't feel fear' bud yes they fucking do what are you talking about. I don't believe you! that's stupid!!

A fun Danny Phantom idea:
One of those “mediums tormented by the fact they can’t turn Off the ability to see ghosts” types moves to Amity, and for the most part, it’s great! Like yeah maybe there’s still ghosts everywhere, but now they can react normally, because finally for once in their life everyone else sees the ghosts too. Granted, judging from what everyone else says it sounds like they’re seeing significantly tamer humanoid proper-manifestations than the near-incomprehensible masses of emotion, spectral energy, and whatever that particular spirit’s associated with they’re used to seeing, but eh- between how jaded they are to seeing stuff like that after all these years and the fact that in practice the response of “GTFO” tends to be applicable regardless of whether you’re dealing with a poltergheist in overalls who likes hucking boxes at people, a giant robot guy who’s yelling about world domination, or reality breaking fever dream vomit, it’s not too big a deal
…There’s just ooooone little problem
Which is that when people look at the Fenton’s youngest kid and when people see local town hero/cryptid The Phantom, clearly everyone ELSE is seeing two different people/entities, but in their case, all they see is the same wild plasma-lightning living tear in reality either way, and they’re afraid if they mix the two “identities” up they’re either A) gonna fuck up some poor kid’s life/put him and those around him in danger, B) piss off a very powerful spirit whose repeatedly proven why that’s a very bad idea, or C) both-
(Bonus points if it’s some completely mundane guy like Ted the Bus Driver/ the county deputy in training/ some poor janitor who’d be reasonably expected to come in contact with either one fairly frequently-)
#danny phantom#Something something ‘getting very used to mumblin together the words Phantom and Fenton enough it’s reasonable to mistake it for either#relying on context cues like ‘how high up the figure is hovering/how others react#it’s not until one late night when they’re very tired they mess up#and tell mr. Phantom they’re grateful for his service to the town#Meanwhile Danny FENTON who decided he wasn’t up to the whole Transformation Deal just for a very minor spirit issue#that was small enough for the ghost hunters kid to be able to deal with: Wait- What??#Also this is just me but I think they should totally be some tired middle aged person who’s Just A Guy#Lived a weird life so far. Very used to strange occurrences. doesn’t get phased by much#Like it’d also work if it was a fellow student but like#Idk I just think it’d be fun-

NOT SO ALIEN
Optimus Prime x Human! Reader
I couldn’t decide between g1 or Skybound so we got a mix of the two
Optimus is a really sweet guy honestly, I like him in every continuity except bayverse… bayverse could’ve been better if it actually focused on the robots but ig we can’t all be winners💔
Someone end this torture already, writing on a phone is not for the weak
It was quiet— the silence stretched on and on. It was too silent for your liking, the usual bustling of the city gave a sense of security. Surrounded by your own kind, each person a part of one big thing.
Even if that thing was a 9 to 5 corporate job filing paperwork to no end, each piece of paper adding onto the stress of the world. Just one tiny brick in one big corrupt wall, your dad would always say.
”This world… it’s inhabitants.” Jesus his voice was deep, you could never really get used to it. Or the fact that he was a giant alien robot.
”It’s horrible isn’t it?” You could only chuckle, the grass under you was damp. It’d be a pain to wash those grass stains out of your pants later. Craining your neck to look at Optimus’s face, his eyes— they were beautiful. Blue and kind, could robots even have kind eyes? They were kind of humanoid weren’t they?
”No, this world is beautiful and so are it’s inhabitants.” You could only stare as a large hand moved infront of you. Offering a seat was he? What a gentleman. As gracefully as you could, you plopped yourself down onto the palm of his hand. Allowing the prime to lift you up higher.
But were humans really beautiful? Greedy beings, sucking away at the worlds life. Wasting everything until there was nothing less, soon even the land would be barren. Missing it’s usual flora. That was not beauty in your opinion.
Was that truly beautiful to him?
”Well what was your home like then? Surely it’s just as beautiful as earth.”
He held you steady, the both of you watching the sunrise. It was silent again, god— did robots have a god?
”Cybertron, it’s a distant memory by now. But no.. it was not as beautiful as Earth.”
A glum response, the mood seemed to darken.
So a bad topic then.
God you weren’t exactly good at comforting people, or robots. The only thing you really could do was place a hand on his finger, Optimus was warm. Were all of them this warm?
This was so awkward, could something just give you a way out already. You snappes out of it—being dragged out of your head by the rumbling of Optimus’s voice.
”Thank you for taking time to listen.” The primes voice was flat, if you listened closely you could hear it tremble just a little bit.
”That’s what friends are for, aren’t they?”
You could only offer a weak response. Almost tripping on your own feet as he settled you back onto the ground.
”Optimus, if you ever need to talk. Uh- you can just come to me, alright?”
Oh god you sounded just like a prepubescent teen, was it too late to just crawl into a hole in the ground? It felt cliche to say something like that out loud.
Stiffening as Optimus knelt down infront of you. One large finger pushing a stray strand of hair behind your ear, strangely gentle for someone so much bigger than yourself.
An odd rush of warmth found it’s way to your cheeks. He was sweet for an alien robot atleast, really sweet..
”Thank you for the offer, dear friend.”
Guess they aren’t as alien as they may seem.

i went on a date once with a guy who said he wanted a robot to do his grocery shopping and other chores for him. i was like dude. you said you already get your groceries delivered for you, i'm not sure what else you want.

#also what a weird individualistic way of looking at robotics#like why would you have one robot that does your laundry and goes grocery shopping and cleans your toilet#when everyone could share one giant grocery shopping robot#which would be way easier to design#lol#and yes dishwashers and washing machines are already robots that wash things for us#they're just not humanoid and they require effort from us to help them

Using Vidu to Make Character Turnarounds
Disclosure: I am in the Vidu Artist Program.
Having (at the very least) front and back reference greatly improves the quality of character image prompting. And very often, one finds that they were lazy and only got a couple of bits of character reference. Or they have tons of it in the wrong art style.
A character like Wally Manmoth requires some good reference to work right.
Now, it's not that hard to prompt up something that matches close enough and then modifying the stuff manually until it works, such as I did with TriceraBruce and DeinoSteve:
You can tell Steve's the bad boy because he's got a cool rip in the back of his jacket.
But for Wally, I decided to try out Vidu as a means of getting turnaround frames.
So I loaded Wally's front-view pic (above) into the image-to-video feature, and prompted with:
vintage traditional animation scene (1985) humanoid mammoth/furry elephant wearing a red hawaiian shirt and blue shorts, by filmation and sunbow productions, 90s colors, friendly on green background, streamlined black line art with cel shaded vintage cartoon color, official media, character design fullbody shot on green background. The mammoth-anthro starts facing the camera, turning around to face away from the viewer, providing a view of his back.
I gave it two shots at the 720x quality setting (12 points per, total of 24), and got:
Huh. Weird it happened twice, etc.
This demonstrates both that the tech is viable for this use, and the reason you'd want to have that multi-view reference. The robot clearly assumes that a luau shirt would have a large print on the back, whereas wally's is a more basic print. That's ultra easy to fix, though.
I started by exporting the last frame of each (or close to it, picking the one that looks cleanest)

While its image editing features and often touch-and-go, one thing the Midjourney edit feature has going for it is it's utility as an upscaler. You load the image in, make your tweaks (just a little bit of background if you're just upscaling) and then upscale and at the very least you have 2048x2048 worth of resolution.
I used the midjourney edit process, that got those two images to the following state, as a test.
The results are good, but getting the large trees to erase-and-replace out took several attempts, and just doing it in photoshop then using the editor to upscale would have been faster.
This is why we do tests.
I went with the slightly-at-an-angle one for the main reference sheet. I'll be keeping the straight-on-back-shot in case it winds up being useful for specific scenes down the line.
In photoshop, I touched up the shirt print, made sure the colors where consistent, and simplified the hair coloration to something more period-plausible.
No more giant trees on the back! On the other hand, I think the feet sprouting toes on the heel is going to be something I'll be fixing frame-by-frame until there's another revision.
Human characters will induce these issues less often. I just stick with my genre of choice.
Midjourney was not cooperating with TyrannoMax (it really doesn't like giving him the proportions I like, preferring to make him a weird big-head salamander), so I went the same direction, resulting in this stage 1 front/back:
Only Midjourney refused to work with it, at all. Declaring everything that came out of it too lewd for its internal censor. Apparently, this hunky relative of cheesasaurus rex is too sexy for general consumption. Nevermind that it's a cartoon lizard in a shade tangello orange.
The workaround is too dumb for words.

Slam the hue slider until it's off anything that could be perceived as a human skintone.
Then make the modifications. Here I had to rework the leg several times, and do a lot of tweaking to remove-overinking. Then I popped it back out, droped it back into lineart, re-colored it, and and composited it back together:
And voila, a front and back for Max. I shortened his tail, as the longer tails have been causing problems with confusing the image prompting systems. The armor skirt has scallops to accommodate the tail, which looked better more consistently than the flaps folding around the tail.
The results are, thus far, encouraging.
Of course, if the back of your character has any unexpected details, you're going to have to add those in after the fact or include them in the prompting, and you're going to be making a lot of edits regardless (as you should).
Oh, and Max has a sword now.
A blade of amber crystal with a fossilized femur grip and a faceted dino-eye that should be far enough away from the Eye of Thundera for safety. A roleplay-toy friendly trademark weapon, usually a sword, was a must-have for 80s action-adventure lines despite the fact that you'd never see it used on anything that wasn't a robot, living statue, or skeleton.
Thus the sword's gimmick is it cleaves through non-living matter with ease but anything BS&P doesn't want subjected to a stabbin's is encased in amber crystal: locked in place if partially encased, put into suspended animation if fully encased. A nice, nonlethal use for a magic sword.
It's proportioned like a gladius, but is generally interpreted as larger, approaching a broadsword, in keeping with the generally ridiculous blade sizes of kidvid fantasy. They're just more fun when they're stupidly huge.
Is "Sword of Eons" too on the nose?

Hello can you do a Tfp Shockwave x Reader First contact?
First Contact
[Shockwave X GN!Reader]
[Word Count: 1044]
[Warnings: Kidnapping, swearing.]
[Fic Genre: Angst?]
[Notes: SHOCKY BOY! I tried to write this more like a sorta horror type thing cause this is from a human pov, and anyone would be terrified of something that big, but I’m not that good at it yet. Enjoy!]
——————————————————
The sounds of the calm forest around them filled their senses, surrounding them with a sense of comfort, the calm breeze brushing past them with the soft scent of pine and the smell of nature as a whole making them smile as they walked down the weathered path that laid between the towering trees, the birds chirping around them, high up in the tree branches, as squirrels and other small wildlife run around the forest floor.
They were just enjoying the comfort of the calm forest around them, the warm breeze in the air and the sunny, bright weather, the sky clear of clouds, they found it comforting and calming, unaware of how the air seemingly dropped in temperature as they continued to walk down the path, distracted by the calmness even as the birds became silent, unaware of the danger lurking nearby that they will unfortunately soon meet.
The sound of something drilling into the earth shook the ground underneath their feet, forcing them out of their calm state, the sounds of rocks being moved filling the air, hitting the ground with loud thuds and stones colliding against each other. The sounds confused them, it sounds like construction, but why in the world would any construction site be in the middle of a forest? It doesn’t make sense, so, out of curiosity and slight stupidity, they head towards the noises, the loud thuds and drilling getting closer the further they walk into the forest.
It was definitely odd to them, they couldn’t think of a single reason why a construction site would be out here, they definitely weren’t cutting down trees, there’s no sound of trees falling, only rocks being moved, so maybe they were mining for something, that’s the only feasible explanation that they could come up with for the sounds. That still didn’t explain why they were in the forest though, not even near any mountains or caves, anything that would have a reason for mining.
Unfortunately, they weren’t entirely wrong with their presumptions, there was someone mining in the forest, it just wasn’t from humans mining.
The sight they walked upon made them freeze in place, standing in the tree line with wide eyes, colossal humanoid robots were walking around the clearing, their feet shaking the ground with each step, some were working with giant machines that looked like drills attached to the treads of a tank, these beings, the things they’re using to mine, are huge, mining into the earth for a reason unknown to them.
So many thoughts raced through their mind, confusion and terror rattled their frame, they had no idea what these things were, did they come across some secret thing for the government? They didn’t know, all that was clear to them was that this was unknown and dangerous territory now, these things could easily kill them just by walking, they had to get away before any of them spot them, they don’t want to know what that outcome would be.
They stepped back, knowing they should run away, but they froze as the sound of a twig snapped under their foot. It was a small sound, muffled by the sound of drilling machinery, but it was loud enough to catch the attention of the one eyed robot nearby where they stood. They froze in fear as the red glowing optic turned to them, illuminating their terrified face, the feeling of impending doom and danger filling their entire body.
“Shit…” They mutter quietly as their body finally allowed them to move, their feet moving faster than their mind as they turned on their heel, bolting away from the robotic beings drilling through the earth, as they tried to navigate their way through the trees that had once brought them comfort and allowed them to relax, now their wooden prison.
Their panic fueled them as they ran, trying not to trip over stones and roots, they desperately tried to find the weathered path they were once on, even as the ground shook beneath their feet, making them stumble and trip a few times, but no matter how hard they pushed their legs, the being behind them only had to take a few steps to catch up with them, a cold metal clawed servo wrapping around their body, yanking them into the air as a scream tore from their throat, filled with an overwhelming amount fear.
The terror that coursed through them when they were lifted up to the red optic of their captor was something they wished they would have never known or felt in their entire life, they froze and became stiff as the mech analyzed their form with a calculating stare, the red of his optic illuminating their terror stricken face as he spoke.
“Lord Megatron, we have retrieved the predacon bone, but I have found a human that I intend on bringing back with me.” The mech spoke with a low, monotonous voice, his claws digging into their skin as he turned back to the Vehicons that had finally pulled the bone from the earth.
“I intend on using it for experimental purposes.” Shockwave looked down at the human that was stiff in his servo yet was still trembling in fear, over time, he’d grown curious about the organics of this planet and their biology, given how different they are from Cybertronians, but now, he’s curious about how their body would react to Cybertronian CNA in their systems, more specifically, Predacon CNA, and this little human coming across them was the perfect opportunity to test out his theories. “A ground bridge is requested.”
Their eyes widen even further as a swirling, greenish blue portal appears from nowhere, unable to struggle or escape as Shockwave walks to the ground bridge, his thundering footsteps echoing through the once calm forest air, watching as one of the Vehicons carries the unearthed bone through the portal before Shockwave enters after, the feeling of passing through the ground bridge making them nauseous and dizzy, disoriented as they appear in a dark lab, filled with equipment unknown to them or probably any human on earth. All the while, Shockwave is coming up with a mangiare of experiments he could perform on the human with the new bone he’s acquired.

Today seems like a good day to ramble about my favorite bit of imagery in all of Bionicle, and that would be the twin eclipse in Legends of Metru Nui.
To start, let's recap a bit. Our protagonists, the Matoran and friends, live on a tropical island. The deity they worship is the Great Spirit Mata Nui, a vague, godlike figure cast into unending slumber by his jealous brother. We never see this entity, although he is often represented with symbols like the Kanohi Hau or a rock with etched details representing an abstraction of that mask. Similarly, we never see him do anything, as he is sleeping. All we know is that the village elders say he was benevolent and good.
The first major plot twist in Bionicle comes when the Matoran travel underground and find their original home: a large cavernous dome with an island city surrounded by a vast silver sea. Despite being underground, twin suns are visible in the sky, frozen in a partial eclipse.
The next year of Bionicle is a flashback, taking place on this island city while Mata Nui is awake and the suns are shining bright. Mata Nui himself and his actions are still seemingly nowhere to be seen.
Tragedy strikes at the end of the year when Mata Nui's jealous brother infects him with a virus and sends him into his slumber while the twin suns eclipse. With the limited information about the true nature of Mata Nui we had in 2004, this always seemed to be a rather on-the-nose metaphor. The Great Spirit who watches over the Matoran falls asleep and the suns overhead eclipse in a manner that makes them look like closing eyes. He can no longer protect the Matoran from the eternal shadow like he once did.
Fast forward four years and the big reveal that all of Bionicle had been building up to is finally made known. The Great Spirit Mata Nui was a metallic colossus in which the Matoran resided. The island city was his brain, the silver sea his cerebrospinal fluid, the dome his skull. The suns, as it so happens, actually are his eyes. But importantly, the eyes are not looking down on the Matoran - they are looking up, away from them.
Mata Nui, as it so happens, was rather unconcerned with the inner workings of his body. He wasn't malicious, but he cared about his people as much as you and i care about our sesamoid bones. Do you know how many you have and where? Probably not. His major character arc going forward is recognizing this and, after being humbled into a puny (7-foot-tall) humanoid, learning to care and respect other beings, even those he would usually consider beneath him.
The reason I love this shot so much is that it works perfectly for both views of Mata Nui: the Matoran interpretation of an idyllic protector who banishes shadows from his place in the heavens, and the giant robot with people in his brain who is preoccupied with observing space. The perception of this scene changes as our understanding of both the biology and personality of Mata Nui are revealed throughout the story.
Like, they made a movie for a toy with this shot that you would have to go back and watch four years later to fully appreciate. And IDK, I think it's pretty cool.

Lost in Space
A/n : Transformers have been worming its way into me and I am not a really big TF fan but I want to be one, I don't know where to start with the comics. Anyways ...Imma drop this shit down lmao. Also, everything is random and won't follow the comics or anything.
----------------
Synopsis : A human explorer, lost in space with a goal to find her missing crew and find a way back home.
-----------------------
You're panting heavily as you run down the dark corridor. Blood is seeping from the wound on your side but it is something you don't want to worry about.
Firstly, you don't know where you are and also you have been attacked and kidnapped by humanoid robots. Your vision is still blurry but you have to keep running. Whatever weird drug they have injected in you is strong but it won't deter you.
Three giant robots appear and block your way with tasers in their hands. You dodge their attempt to electrocute you, you jump and give one of them a strong kick on the side sending them flying to his comrade. You turn to the other one as he shouts at you before charging towards you. You dive under him and push him to the wall. You grab the taser from his hands and shove it between the gap under his rib, he lets out a gurgle scream as smoke comes out from his vents before dropping to the ground.
You hear shouting in strange languages, you quickly turn around and run.
.

Heavy footsteps can be heard echoing through the corridor, you've hidden yourself in one of the crates in the storage rooms that they do not even bother to check. When you think the coast is clear, you crawl out of the crates and try to find your way out.
Your body flinches in pain every time you take a step, you clutch your side while your other hand presses against the wall, to avoid falling.
'This is...bad..' you thought.
Through your blurry vision, your eyes see the light. Is it...the exit? You slowly climb the stairs and make your way out. You walk around blindly until you stumble across an alleyway, you lean against the wall and slowly sit down.
'I'm going to die from blood loss....' you thought. You look up at the sky, wondering how your crew are doing and you hope that you gave them time to escape.
In the corner of your eyes, you see white and red. They drop on their knees and call out for you, but their voices are drowned out as you start to lose consciousness. You feel your body drop to the side as a pair of arms caught you before you hit your head on the ground.

It is rare for Ratchet to be out here at this time, mostly he would spend his days within the med bay drowning himself with endless piles of work. This is an occasion where he goes out to find stuff that he needs on this planet. He could ask the other bots to get it for him but he prefers to get those certain items by himself and doesn't trust other bots with the task.
As the red and white bot walks around, two bots rush past him in a frantic manner. "Argh! It got away! The boss are gonna kill us!" one of them says. "With that injury, it won't run far. Let's keep on looking" the other replies as they run off.
Ratchet quirks an eyebrow, what was that about? Oh, well. It is not something he needs to be concerned about. As Ratchet turns around the corner, his pede steps on something wet and sticky. He cringes at the sticky feeling and looks down, hopefully he doesn't step on something disgusting.
His optics widen at the sight of familiar liquid...
Blood....
He kneels down and inspects the blood, his optics follow the trail which leads to a dark alley way. He stands right back up and carefully walks over to the alley, his optics widen at the sight of a human leaning against the wall.
He rush over to them "Hey, are you alright?" he asked, it was a human female. He could see a deep gash on the side of her stomach, it seems something had impaled her and she's losing consciousness. Her eyes roll back as she falls to the side. Ratchet catches her in time before she hits her head and holds her in his arms, "Stay with me!" he calls out to her.
It's not good. She's losing blood.
He picks her up and quickly makes his way to the ship. He enters the med bay alerting First Aid and Ambulon, "Ratchet, what's happening and wait- is that a human?" Ambulon gasps at the sight of the human in Ratchet's arms.
The medic sets the human on the berth and starts treating her wound, he lifts her clothes and reveals the deep gash on her side. "Oh, Primus...what happened? Where did you find her?" First Aid questions, wondering what had happened to the human to be in such a state.
"I found her in the alleyway" Ratchet replied, his optics scans her body and sees that her wrists and neck have bruises on them, the signs of struggles and it seems she was restrained.
Ratchet wonders how she's still alive with such injuries, the old medic knows about organic life forms since he has lived long enough to study how their anatomy works and will try his best to fix her.
and he hopes that she'll live....

Ratchet wipes away the blood from his servos, seemingly in deep thoughts. He had transferred and laid the human on a much more comfortable berth so she could get as much rest as she needed. She is fatigued and starts to show signs of fever. All it needs is to keep her in check for the next hour.
First Aid is standing next to the berth, and has a worried look on his face. "She will be fine, First Aid" Ratchet assures the bot. Ratchet turns to his data pad, he gives the human a few glances before focusing his optics back to his data pad.
"Ratchet, am I seeing things or that the human is.... larger...?" Ambulon speaks up. Yes, there is something unusual about the human. A normal human would be around 5-7 feet but she is three times the height. Which was unusual, no humans can be that tall...
Unless....
Ratchet stays quiet for a moment, he puts away his data pad. Could it be that she came from a different universe? There is a possibility, space travel can do a lot of things and there are chances to get sent into a different universe.
Then, he remembers the two bots he comes across. Were they looking for her? Are they traffickers? He heard about cybertronians selling humans in auctions, it was cruel and unforgiving. To take someone away from their home, sell them for money and she has become one of those unfortunate victims.
"How are we going to tell the others that we have a human in the med bay? and a...well a big one too" question Ambulon. "I will handle it, for now we let her recover" Ratchet said. If the captain heard that there's a human in the ship and the said human is the size of a bot, he would flip in excitement and will bombard him with questions like a bullet train. He doesn't want that to happen....
"I'm going to get a few things from the cargo and Ambulon, follow me" he said, optics fall on the human's blood covered clothes, there are clothes within the cargo hold but he isn't sure if there's one for her size. He turns to First Aid, "Keep an eye on her and make sure nobody comes in except us" Ratchet said, First Aid nods as the two bots leave the med bay.
First Aid turns his attention to the human, he gently holds her hand.
"Get well soon" he said.
Timeskip
First Aid occupies himself with his own work, staring into the vial filled with energon. While he is working, the human on the berth starts waking up. A groan escapes her lips, causing the medic to turn his head instantly. Both eyes collide with each other, blue visors looking into (e/c) eyes that is filled with shock.
"Ah, you're awake! I'm so glad-" the human picks up the closest thing to her which was the monitor and throws it to the medic, catching him by surprise. He caught the monitor before it hit him.
He sees the human slip past him in the corner of his visor, "Hey, wait! No!" he shouts out to the human. Hey, at least he locks the door—
BAM!
First Aid stands there, trying to process of what just happened. 'Did...she just...' he stares at the broken door. The medic snaps out of his thoughts before running after her, he had to admit that the human is fast on her feet!
She's already down the hall before turning around the corner.
As soon First Aid reaches the corner, the human is already gone. He presses his finger on his comm link to contact the medic officer.
"Sir...I have good news and bad news. It's about the human....the good news is, she woke up and the bad news is....." First Aid takes a breath.
"She ran away..." he said.

The moment you wake up, you are shocked to see the change of environment. Instead of a dirty alleyway, it was a room that is similar to a hospital. You hear something and the moment you turn your head, you see a red and white robot talking to you with a smile on his face.
You don't understand what language he's talking about but it is similar to the sound of an engine or machines. The moment the robot starts approaching you, your first instinct was to throw something at him which caught him off guard and you sprint past him.
You have to get out and find your crew.
You skid to a stop when you pass by a large window, you look out and gasp. "Shit! How in the world am I going back?!" you finally realised that you are now on a ship that's floating in outer space. You know nothing about space but you know that there is no air out there and you will die once you step out of this ship.
You hear a gasp, you crane your neck to your left and see a short white and red bot. He is shorter than you and has a bulky frame. The bot start stammering at the sight of you. You couldn't see his eyes since it's hidden behind blue visors but surely he is shocked at the sight of you.
"A-A—human"
"...."
"A human!?!" he shrieked. Wait, did he speak in human language?! You pin him against the wall, caging him with your taller frame. "Tell me, what is this place?" you hiss at him, the robot freezes at the interaction.

Swerve was on his way back to his berthroom after a long day at the bar, it has been a long day and he wants to recharge. As he walks down the hall, his optics spot something down the hall.
Upon coming closer, he instantly froze. His body locks itself at the sight of a human. A really big human female to be precise, he could see her clearly. She has (s/c) skin, round (e/c) eyes with long eyelashes and has (h/c) hair that tucked underneath a marine cap.
How did the human get on the ship? Swerve started spouting words at the sight of the human, he was surprised.
The human notices his presence and cranes her neck to his direction, both locked in an intense gaze. "A human!?!" he yells and in a flash, the bartender gets pins to the wall which causes him to squeak at the sudden 'attack'.
The human is glaring down at him, eyes narrowing as she grits her teeth. "Tell me, what is this place?" she asked. He doesn't know what to feel about this situation.
Being caged in by a large human is something....
"You're in...our ship...." Swerve answer, "And where is it heading?" she asked again. "Well, nowhere in particular....as for now" he said. The gaze from the human becomes intense and Swerve feels his body froze like a statue and he couldn't look away from her eyes. Something about them prevents him from looking away. She closes her eyes as she cusses under her breath.
His body relaxes after she turns her gaze away from him, his optics land on her side and see blood staining her clothes.
"You're injured" he said. He notices that she looks weak and he could see that she's not doing well. Her face is flush red and she is sweating.
The human looks down at her clothes, she lifts clothes to take a look at her wounds to see it was covered in bandages. Blood already soaked the bandages after she ran away and might have reopened her wounds.
.
You hold your head, you don't feel well. After countless days within the cell and barely eating or drinking anything have weakened your body. With the wound, it makes it worse.
You can feel the concern gaze coming from the robot as you lean on the wall. The robot hesitates to touch you, you know he wants to help.
"I...need...to find...my crew..." you pant through heavy breathing. Turning your head to the robot, "Please....they...need me.." you said before falling to the cold floor as you feel your consciousness slip away.
.
Swerve watches as the human falls on to the floor with a loud thud, he panics and goes to her side. "Hey! Are you alright? F**k! Of course you are not—Swerve you are so dumb!" the bot says, smacking his head. He shakes her body gently, trying to wake her up but to no avail.
There's nobody within range and everyone already returned to their berthroom to recharge. The only bot that can help is...
Ratchet— yeah, that's it!
He gently scoops her into his arms as he sprint towards the med bay.
.
.
"You lost her?!" groan Ratchet who is in disbelief. First Aid drops his head slightly, "I'm sorry, I did lock the door but didn't expect her to kick it open" he said. The door is indeed broken but that is something not to worry about, they have to find the human quickly before the others find out.
"How are we going to find her? She could be hiding anywhere on the ship" Ambulon speaks up, First Aid turns to him. "We can use the security camera to find her" he suggests.
"I'm sure she doesn't get too far" Ratchet sighs, feeling worried about the human's condition.
At some point, they need to alert the crew about the human's whereabouts. Some may not be happy, like Prowl. Some may be concerned and some might become excited.
"Let's find her before she—"
"Guys! I need help and I'm sure you're going to freak out as I am—" a certain bot comes in, all three medics turn to the bot at the door.
"There's a human on the ship!" he said. It was Swerve with the unconscious human in his arms.
Silence.....
"Why are you guys not...freaking out?" the bartender question, filling up the awkward silence.
"Swerve...we already know" Ambulon said.
