Some Halloween headcanons for ARR
Dawn Faction
Koga
Gets invited to Halloween parties
Likes that he can attend them without having to wear a suit
He dresses up and covers his face with a mask so people don't recognize him easily
To his annoyance, Toichiro can still recognize him
Asks his maid to pack some candies for the kids who would swing by his house
Kuya
Lets his wings out on full display since people would just think it's his costume
People stare because it looks so realistic (it is real *wink wink*)
Kids would ask to touch it to which he promptly replies, "No"
Kids have to shout to wake him up since he is usually found sleeping on the veranda instead of handing out the treats at Koga's house
Aoi
Goes all out with his cooking to make sure there are a variety of sweets they can hand out
He tries to make Western sweets since it is a Western holiday - he also puts his art skills to use by designing them
Asks Yura to taste test for him. He is grateful to Yura despite his grumbling when Yura asks for more
Also decorates Raccord to give it the Halloween vibe
"Oji-san, lend me a hand!"
Ginnojo
Also packs candies at his shop
Kuro helps him out with the packing
He displays books with spooky stories since they seem to be popular during this time
"Do I really have to wear this?"
Gets this soft look on his face when he hands out treats
Yura
Volunteers to help with packing candies at Raccord since he's got nothing better to do.
Works as the taste tester when Aoi tries to recreate Western sweets.
"Pray, Sir Aoi, this "cookie" tastes good! Can I have some more?"
Eats more than the candies that he packed.
On Halloween, he takes on his child form, dresses up and lines up with the kids to ask for treats.
Twilight Faction
Toichiro
Also gets invited to Halloween parties
Dresses up like a prince
Likes to annoy Koga since he can easily recognize him
Sticks to Koga since these types of parties do not require them to make their rounds
Still as polite as he can usually be when people approach him
Shizuki
Babysits Kogare since Kogare visits on Halloween
Packs candies with Kogare
"Kogare, hide your ears and tail." To which Kogare replies, "But why is Kuya-san allowed to show his wings?!"
The one who hands out the treats at Toichiro's manor since Kogare also makes his rounds to other houses
Kuro
Helps out at Raccord and Kusanagi Books during candy packing
Also joins in on the fun when Aoi has new sweet samples
Performs in front of Raccord and Kusanagi Books on Halloween
He does it for the promotion of their Halloween show later that night
"If you like what you see, watch the show of Lorenzi Circus Troupe tonight and be whisked away to a night filled with mystery!"
Oji
Always seems to be busy 'entertaining' his customers so he barely helps Aoi with packing candies
He thought he could get away with not wearing a costume so the Raccord gang had to force him to wear something for Halloween
"Aoi-chan, 1 pack of candy for the young lady here"
Gaku
Also helps out at Raccord since Yura is there
Makes tiny trinkets like jack-in-the-box and Chinese finger trap and drops them randomly inside the candy packs
Heaps wasabi on top of the sweets so he can eat the same thing as Yura
Holds back his laughter when he sees the children find themselves trapped in the Chinese finger trap.
"Do you need help with that?"

A/N : wassup? How are you? Hope you have a nice day my sweet potatos. This chapter could be a bit of a tricky, plus I noticed I overwrote it, if I hadn't noticed I would have posted a chapter of 16k+ words, so I checked my calculations and decided to split it up. I also made sure that the most exciting things will happen separately rather than being crammed into one chapter. The good thing is, I'm going to try to post the next chapter after this one after I sort things out and everything. I hope you will enjoy.

At headquarters,,,
The atmosphere was tense as Major Aizen gathered the team to discuss the recent strange incidents. “I’ve reviewed the recent occurrences, and they bear a striking resemblance to the Red-Eyes incident,” he stated, cutting straight to the core of the matter. Futaba, Koga, and Kuya had just arrived, and as the gravity of the situation settled over them, Aizen continued, “Your school was among the locations affected, wasn’t it?”
“Exactly,” Futaba replied, her expression serious.
“There’s been a government mandate to put anyone impacted by this phenomenon under surveillance for the time being. We are still in the dark about the cause, and that’s why I’ve summoned you, Miss Saotome. We need your strength this time,” Aizen informed her, his gaze already shifting to gauge the reactions of her companions. Koga met Aizen’s eyes with a narrowed gaze, disturbance evident in his expression, while Kuya seemed indifferent to the unfolding discussion.
Futaba, however, was keenly focused on Aizen’s words. “I was hoping you’d say that, Major Aizen. I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to protect the capital—I almost fell victim to this phenomenon myself.” It felt as if, in that moment, Aizen and Futaba were isolated in their own world, the weight of her experience connecting them. She began recounting the harrowing events that Kuya and Ginnojo had faced at the pond and the tower, as well as her unsettling encounter near the riverbank that night, drawing parallels to the current incidents.
“Second Lieutenant Oyama mentioned that you were near the river for an unknown reason and believed you were dealing with some form of Ayakashi... Do you have any evidence to support that claim?” Aizen queried, his tone professional yet probing.
Futaba hesitated, understanding the gravity of thesituation. “We don’t have definitive proof, but we’re certain of it.”
Aizen sighed, the situation weighing heavily on him. “It seems all avenues have been blocked on our side. We have no choice but to return to our patrols, much like we did with the wraiths issue.”
The trio exchanged glances, their expressions confirming what they had expected. Without further discussion, they prepared to leave the headquarters, determined to confront the mysteries that lay ahead.
°‱°‱°
“Do we really have to go on patrols again?” Kuya groaned, dragging his feet at the thought.
Futaba shot him a look, her brows knitted. “I get it, Kuya. You’re not exactly thrilled about it. But hey, at least we finally got Major Aizen's green light to jump in on this thing.”
“Yeah, so much so that he wants us to start tonight,” Koga chimed in, his tone icy as he eyed the darkening sky. His annoyance was palpable, and when he glanced at Futaba, a silent understanding passed between them.
“What’s up?” Futaba asked, catching the tension.
Koga’s expression hardened. “You need to head home, Futaba. Kuya and I will handle the patrol tonight.”
Surprise flickered across Futaba’s face. “But
 I already sent my familiars to Aoi and Ginnojo. They know I’m going out!”
“Look, you’ve almost been taken by that damn entity twice already. What if it shows its ugly face again? Your life would be in serious danger,” Koga said, his worry cutting through the tension. It was clear he was still haunted by what she had endured during the pandemic, and while Futaba had a tendency to throw herself into dangerous situations for the sake of the truth, Koga couldn’t just stand by.
Her deep gaze met his crimson eyes, and then she flicked her glance to Kuya, who silently backed off, understanding the weight of the moment. Futaba let out a soft sigh, finally relenting. “Fine, I’m out. But only for tonight.”
Koga's stern face broke into a smile, relief washing over him. He gently ran his fingers through her hair, a gesture of approval that always made her feel a little safer, before they continued their way home, the night stretching ahead of them like a shadow waiting to be faced.
°‱°‱°
As they neared Futaba's house, a frantic figure appeared at the front door—Nachi, his eyes wide and filled with terror. He bolted towards them, breathless.
"Nachi! What’s going on?" Futaba called, her heart racing at the sight of his panic.
"Futaba!! It's Fukajiro—she's gone!!" he blurted out, and the sheer urgency in his voice sent a chill down Futaba's spine.
"What?!!" Futaba's scream sliced through the calm night, drawing Koga and Kuya's attention as they rushed over, concerned.
Koga stepped forward, brows furrowed. "Did something happen?"
"Fukajiro, she disappeared from the house..." Nachi stuttered, his voice shaky as he tried to explain himself.
Futaba clenched her fists, frustration bubbling over. "How did this happen? I told you to watch her until I got back!"
"I swear, I did! But she said she wanted some space, and when I went to check on her, the room was empty!" Nachi's eyes darted around as he struggled to find the right words, hoping to convince her of his innocence.
Futaba sighed heavily, rubbing the bridge of her nose in disbelief. "I can't believe this
 why now? And at this hour?"
Koga broke the tense silence, determination etched on his face. "...Let’s go look for her."
"Huh...?" Kuya blinked, clearly taken aback by the suggestion.
Nachi's expression turned hopeful. "What? You really think we should?
Futaba glanced at Koga, her mind racing. "Are you serious?"
Koga nodded, his tone firm. "Given the situation, it's not safe to be wandering around out here, especially since she’s just a little kid. We need to find her now."
He glanced at both Futaba and Nachi, then turned to Kuya. "Come on, we need to move!"
Kuya crossed his arms, skepticism creeping back in. "So, we’re just gonna ditch the patrol? Just like that?"
Koga shook his head, resolve unwavering. "Nope, we’ll do both. We're not leaving anyone behind, especially not a kid."
"Oh man..." Kuya groaned, but under his reluctant grumbling, a glimmer of determination flickered as they all understood the urgency of the night’s unexpected turn. But as he wrapped up the conversation, Futaba suddenly grabbed Koga’s sleeve with a desperate grip.
“Koga, please, I need to come with you.”
Koga turned to her, his eyes wide with disbelief. “But I told you not to—”
“I’m not talking about the patrol!” she interrupted, her voice firm, eyes burning with determination. “I want to help you look for Fukajiro!”
Kuya leaned against the wall, shrugging lightly. “Look, maybe she’s already home safe, no need to blow this all out of proportion, right?”
“No, Kuya!” Futaba replied, shaking her head fervently. “You don’t understand, especially not with how she is right now. I have to go with you.”
Koga searched her face, his hesitation palpable. “Futaba
”
“Listen,” Futaba pressed, holding her ground against Koga’s reluctance. “I’ve known her long enough. Having me there might make it easier for us to find her. We can do this together.”
Kuya tapped his chin thoughtfully, his tone casual yet pointed. “You know, she makes a good point... Plus, the girl doesn’t exactly like you, Koga. Maybe having Futaba along would speed things up.”
Koga sighed deeply, a conflicted expression on his face. He remembered how the child had always flinched at his approach, seemingly wary of him for no clear reason. But Futaba’s friendship with her could change everything. After a long, tense moment, he nodded, his resolve firming. “Fine, but you’ve gotta stay close to me. No wandering off, got it?”
“Thank you, Koga!” Futaba’s face brightened, relief washing over her features like a summer rain.
Suddenly, Nachi, who had been silently observing, piped up with uncertainty. “W-well, I think I should join you too. I mean, I feel responsible for her disappearing, after all
”
°‱°‱°
The chill in the air made the city feel almost haunted, an unsettling quiet hanging over every street as the wind's howl filled the void. The moon behind a thick quilt of clouds seemed to hold its breath, like it might unleash a downpour any second. Futaba, flanked by Koga, and Kuya, plus Nachi curled up on her shoulder in his cat form, was still on the hunt for any sign of that elusive ayakashi and the little girl who had vanished without a trace. They had found nothing so far.
Koga broke the silence, incredulous at the news. “She saw everything?” he asked, his brow furrowed with concern. That was the cue for Futaba to spill the details, recounting how a civilian had been caught in the crosshairs of the mysterious ayakashi and how Fukajiro watched it all unfold, helpless.
“She was shaken,” Futaba recalled, her heart aching at the memory. “It was the first time she’d been so scared since I met her. I just had to stick by her until she calmed down.”
Koga nodded, but a thought gnawed at him. “I get that she’s scared—she’s just a kid. But why did she vanish?” The question lingered in the cold air, unanswered, as they pressed on in muted contemplation.
Nachi stirred, breaking the heavy silence. “Futaba
”
“What’s up, Nachi?” she inquired, curious.
“I don’t know if it matters, but
I noticed something odd before Fukajiro disappeared,” he said, his tone cautious.
Futaba tilted her head, intrigued. “What do you mean?”
“She was mumbling weird stuff, like
maybe apologizing?” he suggested, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Apologizing?” Futaba echoed, her mind racing. She had a hard time wrapping her head around Nachi's words. Was Fukajiro just out of it from what she’d seen? Before she could dive deeper into her thoughts, “...!!” a cold shiver ran down her spine, a collective dread washing over them.
“Over there!” Futaba shouted, a spark of urgency lighting her up. Without hesitation, she took off toward the source of that chilling sensation, the others hot on her heels. They soon found themselves at Hibiya Park, the unsettling sound of wraiths echoing like a nightmare come to life. The closer they got, the more uneasy they felt—not just at the noise, but at the sheer number of wraiths waiting to cross their path.
As the team crept closer, they quickly realized they weren't alone in this eerie encounter with the Wraiths. A bunch of towering figures stood alongside the ghastly specters, their forms shrouded in mystery. The atmosphere crackled with tension as the entities went toe-to-toe with the Wraiths, unleashing strange, powerful blasts from their hands. Kuya’s eyes widened in recognition, a chill running down his spine. “It’s the same... the same one I saw near the pond,” he whispered, his tone tight with anxiety. They knew they had to stay low and not attract any attention.
Despite being outnumbered by the Wraiths, the trio of entities fought like seasoned warriors, swiftly dispatching the spectral foes with an ease that left the watching squad in shock. The Wraiths were falling one by one until only a single one remained cornered. One of the entities charged forward, extending a hand, and in the blink of an eye, it split the Wraith in two, causing it to dissolve into nothingness. Koga felt a sudden grip on his sleeve; it was Futaba, her eyes glued to the scene, a mix of awe and terror painting her face.
“Futaba...?” Koga murmured, taken aback by her intense focus. “It’s that...” she stammered, voice trembling as she zeroed in on the entity wielding a sharp spear, the same one she'd encountered by the riverbank not long ago. The raw energy radiating from it was unlike anything she’d ever felt, sending shivers down her spine.
“I don’t wanna sound like a chicken here, but maybe we should bail quietly?” Nachi suggested, his voice shaky with fear, and everyone nodded in agreement. Just as they prepared to sneak away, Kuya squinted into the shadows. “Where did they go...?” he asked cautiously, and they all turned to see that the entities had vanished without a trace, the air heavy with an unsettling silence.
Despite the impulse to leave, curiosity got the better of them. They decided to investigate further, with Nachi in his human form leading the charge. “Their speed is insane, even when they disappear like that,” Koga remarked, glancing around. Kuya shot Futaba a look, hopeful for answers. “Are you sure they’re linked to what’s happening to folks in the capital?” he pressed, but Futaba was lost in her thoughts, still reeling from the last moments.
“What’re you searching for?” Nachi asked, his brow furrowed. Futaba scanned the ground intently. “There’s sand here,” she replied, confusion etching her features. “They always leave behind a trail of sand when they somehow disappear.” A realization dawned on her:
If they left no trace, it meant something more sinister...

⚠ARR SPOILER⚠
Our new beginning. Ginnojo.
.
.
.
The heroine comes to visit Ginnojo for the first time. Together with Kuro, she tries dishes prepared by her boyfriend.
The girl admires the food. Gin-Gin praises his girlfriend's cooking too.
Kuro teases his friends, calling them a "married couple". Of course, Gin-Gin and the heroine blush like tomatoes at the same time. Kuro wants to finish his friends off and calls them "young lovers".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kuro realizes that he is the third wheel and wants to leave. Ginnojo is shocked, because he agreed to spend time with Kuro.
"A promise is a promise."
Kuro (judging by his face) is saddened by how slow-witted his friend is, because he does not understand hints.
"Gin-Gin, you're consistent..."
But the heroine supports her boyfriend.
"That's part of what... what I like about Ginnojo". Ginnojo blushes. ( Awwww )
Tumblr media
Even Kuro feels the love pressure. And he doesn't understand what to do.
Then, while Kuro and the girl were talking about Western and Eastern cultures, Ginnojo went to get alcohol. (The boy is 54 years old, he can 😉)
Taking advantage of the absence of Gin-Gin, Kuro whispered a secret in the heroine's ear. (About European customs). She was flushed.
Ginnojo returned. He is displeased when he sees a blushing girl and Kuro.
Out of fright, the heroine took her boyfriend's tea mug and drank it. But the trouble is, there is not tea, but alcohol.
The alcohol hit her head, the girl fainted...
She woke up in the room of her boyfriend, who explained that he usually drinks alcohol in a teacup, and also asks for forgiveness for not telling her about it.
"I should have been more careful".
It's already dark outside. But Ginnojo asks the heroine not to worry, because he sent Kuro to warn Mototaka that his daughter will come later than expected.
The heroine wants to apologize to Kuro. Gin-Gin is jealous.
The girl says that she feels guilty, because she prevented the guys.
Ginnojo denies this.
Tumblr media
And also notices that his girlfriend is more worried about the feelings of the other guy.
Tumblr media
And remembers that she and Kuro were sitting very close.
The heroine is touched by his jealousy. And she kisses him on the cheek. This is what she and Kuro were talking about.
Tumblr media
This is what they do during greetings in Western countries. Ginnojo tells her not to do that anymore. He doesn't want her to kiss others on the cheek.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The heroine is touched again (I would have squeezed him myself 😊).
In response to his words, she replies that he is the only one with whom she would greet like that.
Ginnojo immediately cheered up.
He also kissed the girl on the cheek, sealing the promise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The heroine replies that this is not how promises are sealed.
Ginnojo pretended to be offended.
The girl notices this and boldly pulls her man to her and kisses him on the cheek.

Note
Could I get some Futaba x Aoi fluff?
Since I got some headcanons down, I went for a ficlet. Hope you enjoy!
Hairpins (Note: For this Futaba is aged down to Aoi’s age)
           Aoi sighed. It was three in the afternoon and he had dealt with lunch rush, scolded Oji, cleaned lunch rush mess, scolded Oji again, made Ginnojo the mountain of food the man needed, yelled at Oji, then cleaned up that mess. So a fairly normal day.
           The bell that chimed every time the door opened rang and Aoi cringed
Until he turned around and saw Futaba. Finally, something good about the day.
           “Hi Aoi!” Futaba said, smiling. Aoi blushed. He was still getting used to actually courting her. Of course Oji kept teasing them about marriage, but neither of them were out of school yet.
           “Hi. Um.” What was he supposed to say again? “You want something?”
           Futaba nodded. “Have you been cooped up in here all day?”
           Aoi glanced at the back door, where Oji escaped for another smoke break. “Well, someone has to do the work around here.”
           “Well I think Oji can survive without you for an hour or two.” Futaba said, in a very sure tone of voice. Aoi rolled his eyes.
           “Are you sure about that?”
           With that, Oji came back in. He smiled at Futaba. “Bright eyes! Are you here to steal Aoi away again?”
           “What?!” Aoi shouted. What was the old man talking about this time?
           “Only if he agrees.” Futaba replied. Oji looked at Aoi.
           “Well you can’t keep a fair maiden waiting. Go on, I can take care of things.”
           Aoi crossed his arms. “I don’t believe you.”
           “Aoi, please?” Futaba said, in a plaintive voice. Aoi sighed. Dammit. He couldn’t say no when she used that voice. Well

           “Only an hour.” He glared up at Oji. “You better not make a mess of everything while I’m gone.”
           “Of course, of course.” Oji said, waving his hand. “Now go on you two.”
           Futaba grinned, and Aoi set his apron aside, and went over to Futaba.
           “Ready?” She asked. Aoi nodded.
           “Yeah. Where were you thinking?”
           “There was a new trinket shop that opened up! I was thinking we could go there.” Futaba blushed. “Maybe see if they had any hairpins.”
           “Hairpins?” Aoi asked. He wasn’t sure why she was blushing, but okay.
~~~
           “Do you like this one?” Futaba asked. It was a simple hairpin, with a black stick, and a carved purple sakura blossom.
           “Yeah, it’s cute.” Aoi admitted.
           “I like it too.” She picked up another one exactly like it, and went up to the shopkeep. “I’d like to buy both of these please.” She said to the man.
           “Of course.” The man said, and put them in a bag.
           “Two?” Aoi questioned. It was nice, but he didn’t understand why she needed two. Nor did he understand why she was still blushing as they made their way back to Raccord.
           Once they got back, Aoi finally got his answer.
           “One is for you.” She said, handing him one of the hair pins.
           “Me?”
           “Yes. I, well, it’s a little silly, but we both wear hairpins, so I was thinking, maybe matching ones.” Futaba got extremely red. “Of course you don’t have to wear it. It’s silly.”
           Now Aoi was blushing. “No, it isn’t. I like it.” He really did. He almost wished he thought of the idea. Futaba smiled again.
           “Well, I have to get back home. I’ll see you tomorrow?”
           “Uh, yeah. Of course.” Aoi said. With a wave, she was gone.
~~~
           The next day, they both wore the sakura blossom hair pin. Oji didn’t say anything, just smiled. Kuro of course gushed over the hair pins, meanwhile Ginnojo just gave his own blush and looked away, not saying anything.

Thanks for the 200 +2  followers!
Hi guys! I haven’t been updating frequently (my schedule sucks) but I really wanted to thank you guys for making me hit...
Tumblr media
Like wow, that’s a nice number! So, like I did for the last post showing my appreciation for the first hundred followers, I consolidated all the replies I wanted to address and talk about some of the upcoming works and all. Especially those requests that I haven’t done. I am a bad person, I’m sorry. Please wait for me.
Also, if this post makes you uncomfortable in any form, please PM so I can edit it!
Sorted by users:
Tumblr media
@fenrirthemyth
Thank you so much for your comment! I was very worried about ‘Why He Doesn’t Sign‘ because it’s my first time ever doing something related to angst and I still wanted Oji to be in character but sadly observing Aoi. I hope to improve my writing gradually (hence why this blog exists other than me just spazzing about Ayakashi and all)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@jadaninerowena
Oh, thank you so much! Nachi technically doesn’t want to be seen as our younger brother but he’s really the best family Futaba has ever had and I’m glad it was fluffy enough to be appropriate for his birthday!
Speaking of birthdays, I have 2 works for Yura and Gaku respectively although if you know me well enough by now, Gaku is going to get roasted in his severely.
Thanks again! uWu
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@aromantic-misguide-to-romance You’ve actually reblogged my works and that helps it get circulated a lot so I really appreciate that!
And yes, Facebook doesn’t exist. No one in my class uses it. Deal with it.
I’m joking though, I just had to dig out some of the older social media sites to match the oresamas in the game because their interfaces are more intuitive and easier to handle. Even 100 eyes can get strained when looking at a tiny smartphone. Thanks again for sharing! :D
PS: They made the Ayakashi Discord Channel so head over to them to join everyone who loves Ayakashi... and see my puns.
I’m a punster :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@dany-ryujin
I think I have previously thanked you for the last time I did this sort of post but that’s because you are perpetually sweet <3. I’m glad that the headcanon appealed to you! I was a bit worried about it getting repetitive so I tried to vary the type of dragon MC was. In fact, more of the recent headcanons involving both the Twilight and Dawn factions were about different types of MCs, including the latest requests that I have been staring at during my free time so if you enjoy them, I hope the next few posts will make you happy! Thanks again!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@altaria98
Thank you so much for following me! I’m always happy to see your comments and messages. Plus, a fellow Aoi fan that I can relate to!
For the first comment, yeah, I don’t know why but the moment I roast Gaku, the whole piece goes haywire and you get Twilight: Breaking Dawn and Relationships!
Nobody should scroll down to Gaku for their own sanity.
Tumblr media
The best compliment for a fic if the fan for that character of that fic gives you a sweet comment like this. Checklist: To do You (SFW) was when I tried to see if I can imagine Aoi frantically planning for a perfect outing but having a teenager’s problems like insecurity... and desserts. Yeah, don’t ask.
Tumblr media
I was a bit scared of doing this list specifically because of Aoi. It does feel weird imagining his size considering the stated age but I’m glad nobody found it offensive or illegal. Seriously though, I might have to make it more explicit that he is eighteen years and above for these things. Speaking of which...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@saizoslilwifey
HELLO, FELLOW TRY GUY FAN! I did the PG-rated version of Eugene Lee-Yang’s ranking skits with the girl scouts but you caught it and loved it! Thank you so much for the comments! It made my day seeing someone catch that reference. :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@homu-mod
This is still about Rank-kings but this is also about the sweetest fellow Koga fan! Aye there! If you want more of Koga being perfect... get ready to spell with your ABCs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@katiestrope
I edited the first picture because that account is deactivated and I don’t think you’d be comfortable with me showing it so I cropped it out. But I cannot crop out your words that got me thinking... that I should eat. LOL! Seriously though, thank you so much!
Will I do a sandwich? I did with Kuro and Aoi but admittedly, I don’t have much experience in writing threesomes. I do have drafts of them, along with other pairs.
I also have bleach for any of the professors who might have noticed it. Just in case.
Tumblr media
@heather-hutchcroft
Ok, bear with me, you don’t get photos because YOU DO TOO MUCH. Like seriously, when I was typing this, my fingers were starting to ache from pressing the screenshot button on my laptop repeatedly. Thank you so much for reblogging my works! It’s really helpful :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@blinded-by-forest-sunlight
As you can see folks, this sweetheart actually sent me this sweet message in my ask box. Seriously, this was very nice! Thank you so much! I hope I can still produce decent stuff and improve! :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
@mseliteminority
Your replies are what makes me hate my works less, like the first comment. How the Dawn Faction Pleasures their MC was something that made me struggle for a while because I wanted it to be extensive. And honestly? Anywhere for any of the Dawn Faction member gets set on fire upon their touch, hehe!
You even commented on my crack pieces as seen with Joining
 the inari sushi cult with Toichiro Yuri. Made simply to apologize to the poor Nonnie who got her request on Toichiro very late for the explicit version of the Twilight Faction’s First Time with MC.
Hopefully, I produce more Aoi and Kuya fics like the most recent one celebrating the release of the Event Stories. A Feathery Kiss - Kuya was frankly a rushed job so I hope to do a better one next time!
Finally, Kuro as a Yandere -NSFW edition, was what made me wonder... why do people like Yanderes? Your comment was what made me like this piece in the end because it was pretty fun to see how others reacted to one of the least likely characters to stab someone suddenly going psychotic or something.
Thanks again for your supportive and engaging words! And I will get back to your ask because I am combining it with the other 2 as a sort of comeback piece (if my professors ever free me).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@aikanachi
Wow, the first time someone ever made a playlist based off a headcanon of mine. For The Koyurona Group and the Onmyoji Girl, I did try writing lyrics (terrible ones) for each of the group members. I did record it... before deleting it. LOL. So it’s a good thing someone with good ears, like a certain Nekomata, made this! Thank you so much! :D

Nonono, thank YOU for following me and always reblogging my pieces... even the very questionable ones like for the second comment since it really was a random ramble on roasting Gaku again in Random Headcanons #1: Gaku’s Diet. And it was so nice to do Nachi, Koga, Kuya and Kuro because those are also my favourite boys! Plus Aoi... plus Yura... plus Gaku... plus Toichiro... plus Ginnojo... you get the idea.

@carolithe
I couldn’t help it! Your country is very beautiful and it was a great trip! :D I’m glad Gaku is a spirit haunting wasabi-flavoured snacks now and hope we can be munching on some, one day together! Thanks again!

@ikementally-deficient
Yes, fellow comrade! Your wish is my command and I shall always try to present Oji-San(sClothes)! I hope to do justice for him so that all of his eyes can look me in the eye. Thanks again!
PS: Follow them for Ayakashi matchups! They are super good!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@askayakashi
Thanks for mentioning the list! :D Although honestly, it really isn’t the most accurate, LOL. But yeah, I really should tag these lists more. It would be great to gather everyone here...
To roast Gaku.
Tumblr media
And everyone else! Seriously, if I could, I would have dumped all those notes but I’m already behind in making my study notes. Whether it’s a ‘like’, a reply, a reblog, a suggestion, a critique or a funny request, I love everything from all of you.
Tumblr media
Once again, thank you for following me! I’m so happy to be part of this loving and funny fandom and hope to get know more of you! :D

About Ginnojo’s Book
I waited until I could read every installment at once and I honestly doubt that I could have finished it otherwise. Its a good thing this story didn’t rely on audience anticipation.
Tumblr media
I feel pretty much jilted on my investment in this story! So many missed opportunities for intensity! As if I had just read a vigilante action adventure story from the lowest possible point of interest! I mean it certainly wasn’t a romance.
Sorta spoilers below if you don’t like that kinda thing but don’t think there’d be many ppl powering through the story like i did
I mean... remember when MC learned about Gin’s dislike of geisha but super high alcohol tolerance? Oh right, that was Koga.
Tumblr media
Or when MC suspected her quiet vigilante best friend of a dangerous extralegal scheme but still secretly aided the execution? No, Kuro got that one.
Tumblr media
Or when MC forced Gin to set aside his grudge against the government by joining his battle against a common nemesis? Ah damn, that was a bunch of generic soldiers who never even got names but still shared more in common with Gin than the MC!
Tumblr media
I’m not saying that everything was bad. MC had her own great character arc that seemed to peak when she threw her lot in with Aizen at the circus - but it seemed like she would have done that regardless of Gin being there. That moment when our girl making a choice to take control of her own future? Nice. That moment when Aizen chose to surrender some control trust forces outside of the law! Rad.
But Gin’s character climax...  It felt so cheap to see Gin repeating the same tired phrases during his nemesis face-off. The writing never showed that he could be at all complex or ever change his stoic mien.
They gave us factual speech and a less expressive sprite and had MC arbitrarily tell us about whatever “warmth” was somehow radiating from his person as he went about his business. But the only times he emotes are when he’s replying directly to General Aizen or Kagemaru! Who represent everything he hates!
The interesting happenings occur off-stage: Bonding with Kuro. An anonymous soldier leaving tips at the bookstore. Kagemaru disappearing from the circus. Correspondence with the Shinsengumi. The entire trip to Hino???
Then somehow the whole thing ends on a hasty declaration of love with no preamble.
... Bro I’m so disappointed. We coulda tried a Batman/Commissioner Gordon dynamic or reluctant buddy cops.
Or neighbors becoming best friends fighting the forces of evil.
Or found freakin family! Let Mototaka adopt him! Let Koga get on his nerves! Let Gin’s training experience drag everyone into team building exercises!
Literally anything but this arbitrary romance tacked on at the very end.
Tumblr media
On the bright side, I already got the bad story out of the way, so it’s only uphill from here. I’ll be going back to hoarding story keys now.
Fin. Thank you anyone would could stand to read this far.

Tumblr media
Holy wow, thank you so much for the mention! :D I’m sorry I have to reblog this because this is actually a secondary blog and thus, I can’t really reply.
And I’m really sorry if this seems rushed because ugh, there’s an HFMD outbreak at my school so I have been sorta busy.  That said, I really didn’t want to miss this day (which... I have only recently discovered, LMAO, I’m really a noob). And while I really suck at talking with others, I really want everyone to see the writers whose works I fell in love with.
I wished I could be friends with everyone but honestly, I have been scared to do so. I actually have really severe depression and didn’t want to really talk with anyone for a long time. It was really nice to see though that everyone in the ARR fandom, and Otome bases in general, is so amiable.
I don’t think I have even talked to them because I was dying from trying to construct a sentence so if this is our first time interacting;
Hi! :D

Writers appreciation day
Okay, I was informed about it an hour ago and I have -15 minutes until sleep time so I guess it will be short since I'm supposed to be asleep.
@annerly-san because of that one fic, the ultimate angst. My favourite fic probably.
@xathia-89 aside of all the impressive masterlist for writing a fic I dreamed about. Literally. The fic got into my head so much it came back in a dream.
@umbralaperture - because you can angst very well, and no one can convince me otherwise, totally one of my favouritest fics, and also super impressive to just... make a huge fannovel.
@war--lords requests are something I really cannot imagine doing and yet you mastered creating one-shots like if it's easy and it's very not easy.
@snow--blanket - tiny short pieces of text that I could enjoy in work during break. Luv them! And as above, very not easy to make such a short fic memorable but here they are. And also, Yukimura.
@tarralin well I mean. Literally every fic I read was absolutely good.
@plumpblueberry and @toloveawarlord too, I'm not much of s writer for ikerev but these fics encouraged me to explore the fandom (well especially the Murder Mondays and unleash the angst) and get more into OCs because hey OCs can be interesting!
@alloveroliver - reading your fics is always interesting but gdi I learned so many words on that.
@ikesenhell and @darkmindsthinktwistedthoughts because gdi multi-part stories, and multiple ones, and so many and so good. Gasp. I have no clue how you're doing that but I'm very very impressed. Some day I will go through the whole masterlist.
@ikesenmotonari because Melody is my crush now lol but anyway, a great fic, pirates, Motonari chaos unfolding. What's better than that.
@yunohawkeye have I mentioned pirates? Where are they? I miss ur pirate AU.
There are some I remember despite not having read anything recently but definitely going to get back to the fics because I remember very well I liked them! @ikemenfics @chiefofpigs @ythmir-writes @ikesenlemonadestandstories and @dreamscapesin1582
@ayakashiramblings - my first glimpse into ARR writings and just starting out but the first ones I've read are precious!
Should probably mention other more recently discovered authors I'm totally planning to follow from now on: @velociraptor-detective @ikementally-deficient @lovingsiriusoswald @narekashi @dear-mrs-otome
