145k words, rated E, time travel and action/adventure, with a Din/Jaster romance, great OCs, and of course adorable Grogu moments!

Summary: Din doesn't want to be Mand'alor. The Darksaber, that definitely does not whisper to him in the middle of the night, refuses to leave his hand. When Din is finally presented a chance to rid himself of it, Din doesn't hesitate to make a deal. He should have hesitated, considering that promise may or may not have come from the ghost of an ancient Mand'alor capable of wizardry... Oh well, at least this cop he meets is nice and helpful.

TLDR: Din doesn't read the fine print, gets flung through space and time, goes through puberty twice as a result, and crash lands at a pivotal point in Jaster Mereel's Journeyman Protector career. Jaster has thoughts about this. Maybe too many thoughts.

I found this fic in the Oya Mand'alor server (or Oya Biatch! as it is currently called xD), recced with this scene from near the end of the fic:

Doesn't that sound absolutely hilarious? I had to go and read it immediately, and the story didn't disappoint!

It switches POVs a couple times, mostly between Din and Jaster, but also OCs like their family members, and I enjoyed reading every one of them!

The fic has so many layers of plot and background info, headcanons and lore, it's so interesting but never gets too complicated to follow along.

The author writes about the title: "Grave shift, working long, late hours; Grave shift, an alarming change. Also, if I can help it, Jaster’s grave will shift off of Korda VI", and isn't that a wonderfully clever fic name?
