This year has been a whirlwind. I’ve been so inspired by the GO fandom and it’s gotten me back to drawing again. (thanks ❤️). I participated in a few fan projects this year, but this is my first GO original.

All of the fan projects so far had me drawing Michael/Aziraphale, so I wanted to draw a Crowley. I love how he's changed his looks through the ages, and I wasn't sure which to do first. I also love how he likes to fuck with gender rules.

I was originally thinking of a Tokyo nightlife/streetwear kind of vibe. But a few months ago I started reading an amazing fic (Lay Thee Sinner by @thenerdalert) and hoooo boy I absolutely fell in love with their nonbinary Crowley. Then a few weeks in, a gorgeous artwork by @gleafer was added 🥵 and let me just say it was a big influence on how I finished this drawing. I’m not 100% saying he’s that Crowley, but he definitely could be.

I am also still a noob on Procreate. I have years of experience with photoshop and illustrator, and this seems to be a simplified combination of both. But I am still learning (winging it and hoping for the best). But I definitely like having it digital from the start. I can try something out and if i hate it, just delete the layer and not ruin the whole thing. it's wonderful. I used a lot of references for this, so I hope it looks put together. 😊

I hope you like it. I’ve been working on versions of this since the summer. But it didn’t fully come together until I found my inspiration 😊

The finished product! A.Z. Fell's Bookshop Book Nook (with links below if you want to make one too!)

I used a kit and custom stickers by Julia's fanart (links below!). The parts I made myself are the angel mug and gramophone from beads and bells and buttons, and added bookshelves from screenshots of Aziraphale's bookshelves. (And I put a summoning circle hidden under the rug!) I also sculpted a mini emotional support cactus based on this Gleafer comic and made a small Maltese Falcon for the tiny shelf (that looks more like a duck but I'm ok with that).

I also added easter egg references specific to my Good Omens fanfic crossovers (The Neverending Story, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Wee Free Men, Modern Magic, etc.) and a mini zine of all the fan art ever made for one of my fanfics - I'll post the zine separately but it's the open book on the chair.

Here's the Rolife Book Nook kit (direct to their site but it's also available at Michael's and Amazon) - extremely well made, the pieces were easy to push out and put together, I was very impressed and had a lot of fun making it:

Here's a link to the custom stickers by @juliasfanart ! This has the rug, Fell the Marvellous posters, the clever signs included the closed sign and a list of hours, the cottage pic, custom books and so many great details!! I was going to try to make a lot of these and was ECSTATIC to find out she did already and made them available to download!

Just so happy with how this came out! (I also might add a sheet somewhere to download the additions I made if anyone is interested!)

Good Omens Fan Fiction Friday (5/16/25) - Heaven & Hell

Good Omens fan fic writers have contributed wonderful stories to the lore of heaven and hell. This is a small selection of my favorite fics featuring denizens of The Bad Place and The Other Bad Place.

Let's start with a fun little cracfic, Send Nudes (T) by xkingevelynx (ebony_dove). Beelzebub gets an unexpected text from Gabriel. Autocorrect strikes again! Short, silly, and fun.

And we'll follow up with a charming little fic by perennial favorite, AppleSeeds. It's The Greasy Pole (T). Shax promotes Furfur to temptations and sends him to Crowley to learn how to seduce humans to lust. Aziraphale lets Crowley demonstrate a temptation so Furfur can learn. And the newly promoted demon proves he's a fast learner. Of course, it's ridiculous and sweet.

While we're on the topic, let's talk about Gormless Seduction (T) by @munchmulch. According to hell, there's an angel who owns an old bookshop. Crowley is sent to pose as a human to seduce the angel and gain important information about heaven. Love the characterization in this fic. Aziraphale, in particular, is amazing.

And finally, one last seduction fic: One Night In Bangor (And the World's Your Oyster) (E) by Atalan/@brightwanderer. Has everyone in the fandom read this one? If you haven't, check it out. At the millennial retreat for heaven and hell, there's a prize offered to the first demon who can seduce an angel. The efforts by the obvious demons to attract the oblivious angels is a riot. And the banter between our ineffable pair is wonderful.

Artist @anotherwellkeptsecret has also created a comic version of the story which you can see here on Tumblr.

@ednav created two of my favorite original characters, the angel Zophiel and the demon Ramiel in Spying Omens (T). The pair are assigned by their superiors to keep tabs on heaven and hell's representatives on earth, Aziraphale and Crowley. The pair come to their own arrangement while doing their jobs through the ages. One of my top-rated fics.

In Mixed Company, or the Corporate Retreat of Heaven and Hell (M) by TheOldAquarian, is a fandom favorite for a reason. The corporate retreats of heaven and hell held every 300 years is a rich subject for storytelling. And our ineffable sillies don't disappoint as they navigate their relationship through the shenanigans of their bosses and coworkers from Heaven and hell. Also a favorite thanks to the delicious banter.

The Auction (M) by ShadowsRider was inspired by Gleafer art. Aziraphale volunteers himself and Crowley for a charity bachelor auction. Unfortunately, Shax and Furfur are there to bid on Crowley and have put a miracle blocker in place. How will Aziraphale keep Crowley from ending up contracted to hell?

Miracles on the Orient Express (T) by @astrhae has assigned Crowley to capture an Archangel aboard the famous train. Aziraphale just happens to be taking a vacation on it at the same time. The pair are swept up in a Christie-style mystery where both hell and heaven do the unexpected.

Aziraphale is swept into the power vacuum caused by Adam refusing to end the world and becomes the new King of Hell in A Special Place in Hell (T) by HotCrossPigeon and Mirach. I love BAMF!Aziraphale. And this is a great depiction of him--a particular favorite of mine.

The Kidnapping an Archangel for Fun and Profit (T) series by @waitingtobebroken has the new Duke of Hell, Crowley, kidnapping the new Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale. He torments the captured angel at the Ritz, in the park, and other nefarious places. Various demons and angels are swept up in shenanigans that involve kidnapping and trying to foil kidnappings.

Summary:

Shy virgin Ezra Fell just wants to get off to a good start for his first undergraduate term at University College London. When he meets a handsome stranger at the Waterstones coffee shop, he quickly realizes he's less concerned about the good start, and more interested in the getting off. Good thing he’s always been a quick study!

Excerpt:

“Come back to mine?” Anthony murmured in his ear, his breath and tongue now devastating the skin just below it, his teeth now grazing Ezra’s earlobe. “Unless, this is too fast for you.” He started to draw away, and Ezra chased him back against the door, pushing hard so that it rattled in its frame. He pressed his mouth against Anthony’s neck, nosing aside the collar of his jumper so he could taste. He could, it was allowed apparently. The skin there was warm and damp, alive, gorgeous. “Is this fast enough?” he murmured back, hoping he sounded at least a tiny bit experienced. Anthony chuckled, but his hands were tight on Ezra’s waist. “It’ll do.”

Inspired by Gleafer’s art this story is hilarious, delightful, heartwarming, and wonderfully written. Great characterisation and banter and strong Aziraphale, to which I may or may not be partial to. Crowley is shedding, enough said. I laughed all the way through.

Aziraphale suddenly realises he hasn’t paid enough attention to Crowley's snake-y needs. He decides he wants to make up for it. Hilarity ensues. Put your cup of tea down before day 6, trust me.

Crowley doesn’t answer the phone, and Aziraphale goes to his flat to check on him. Oh, dear. Oh, the fluff and sweetness of this lovely fic!

Fic drop! Yesterday @gleafer threw a firecracker of a writing prompt at her pigeons. I’m throwing it back. NO PEEKING is rated E for EXPLICIT; 8.8k, complete.

Summary: Anthony meets up with his estranged uni pal Ezra over a drink to catch up, and when things start to get personal, Ezra tells Anthony about a special place where one can sexually let go, anonymously, guilt free— and depending on how you choose to participate, make some easy cash. Anthony leaves this reunion very confused and more than a little titillated, but he's never done anything like that before, nor expected to talk about such a thing with his formerly shy friend. What could happen if he chooses to follow through?

Good Omens Fanfic: Infernal Tango

A gift for @gleafer , thank you for inspiring me to write this. ❤️💚

Summary:

After Shax accidentally revealed to Furfur that she could dance the Tango, he planned a grand gesture to sweep her off her feet, resulting in a night of fiery passion. Excerpt: Completely lost in each other and the pulsating rhythm of the Tango music. A series of passionate and complicated steps followed and literal sparks started flying between them as they executed the intricate movements with an infernal vigour. Leaving a trail of fire in their wake. Illuminating them as their bodies moved in seamless synchronisation. The demonic crowd grew larger, watching in awe at the spectacle before them and occasionally needed to dodge a spark that flew their way.

I can’t decide whether part 1 or 2 is hotter. I do think this might be my favorite part overall just because of the sheer awkwardness of this whole situation and how well the humor works with the incredibly ridiculously hot bits. Regardless, go read this (maybe with a glass of ice water at hand).

Ezra took a step closer. “What’s wrong with Sandy? Professor Sanderson,” he amended, as Crowley lowered his eyebrows and gave him a proper look. “Do you seriously want to discuss – look.” Crowley sighed, and dragged a hand through his hair. “Okay. I really do have to do… things.” “Yes. Professor things. You said.” And still Ezra lingered, twisting his hands just as he had in Crowley’s bathroom. Crowley watched the motion of his hands, and he could feel his pulse kicking up again, the beat of blood thundering in his ears, and he was aware his control was rapidly fraying loose, the guide rope was leaving burns as it ran through his hands, as he leaned over the edge of the cliff. And still he stalked around the desk again, and pushed into Ezra’s space, and said, “I don’t know what you want, or what you think you want, but clearly what happened was a mistake and we don’t need to –” Ezra swayed into him, and kissed him.
