byeol is, illegitimately, the king’s brother’s grandkid

his dad up and left well before his birth, and byeol’s never known him

the man sends a monthly stipend every month, but it’s never meant all that much to him when it comes from a faceless, nameless source

he does however love his mother, even if she’s a little misguided at times

in any case, he was born and raised in france and is trilingual - french through country, english through school, and korean at home as his mother has always insisted

he’s a smart kid and a quick study - as of right now he’s working his way through a degree that he’s momentarily shifted to online learning since

he’s in korea atm!

since he now knows who his dad is, he’d also quite like to know more

and unfortunately, it’s hard to find more personal information countries and countries abroad

so he’s here now, moonlighting as a receptionist in a hair salon and trying to figure out more about the royal family

he’s a bit of a curt kid - he can have a smart mouth on him, and he’s good at playing coy and being blunt simultaneously

Hello! My name’s Beck (26, est, she/her), and I come with my hardworking, but reserved muse, Hyun Seongmin! Congrats to Goong for opening today! From a prestigious family of political figures and law enforcement who all now work for different branches of the royal family at different levels. (His parents work under the King and Queen while his siblings work for their daughters’ families in some capacity)

Seongmin is the “most successful” of the Hyun children as he is the only one who took a high position as a royal advisor to the Jeong branch of the family. And while he’s not fond of them, he does his utmost to be the best caretaker advisor to them.  (He’s not fond of them to say the least)

Was top of his class and highly sought after for his many skills (social, political, and economic), but took on the Jeong’s advisor role in the hopes of making a difference for the better as a voice of reason for the royal family.

He is not loyal to the family, but to the country and is clear about this to anybody who asks. He’s garnered respect for his ability to remain neutral and capable, though secretly he does not see any of Jeongs (or the other children from the other branches) as fit for the throne as of yet. He’s heard rumors of another candidate to the throne and is curious to see if this person might be the ruler he believes the country needs. 

He’s always putting country and duty before himself which means he forgets to put himself first when it matters. He’s stressed, but never one to show it and determined to maintain his facade.

It’s only when he’s not working that his true colors show: someone quick to laugh and joke, listen, explore, spend time with his cat, and watch cheesy romcoms and action flicks as a way to escape the heavy responsibilities of his career life. 

He’s reserved and shy most of the time, but when on duty or when the situation calls for it, Seongmin is very capable of socializing, charming, and forming bonds and connections. He does this often for his duties and less so for outside of it, but when he does get close, his loyalty and affection is something to behold.

Fun Facts! He’s fluent in three languages and proficient in two! He’s been studying since he was a child. His favorite subjects were history and languages. He has a cat named Eridanus (Eri) named after his favorite constellation.

He’s sociable, kind, hardworking, and loyal (when it’s earned), but that doesn’t mean he makes friends easily. He tends to keep people at a distance due to his focus being on his work, but also because he simply doesn’t know how to open up, given that most of his time was spent on academics and his lofty goals of becoming part of the royal family’s counsel. Now he’s just trying to breathe when the day is done and hope he can get through the next without glaring at the Jeong children for causing him unnecessary trouble.

I’ve jotted down some info about Elijah Park, so if you fancy, do feel free and take a butchers; 

The older twin & second oldest in the park family

Does not want anything to do with the throne

His relationship with his father is fractured and his mother is very controlling

He loves his grandparents and they are really supportive about his decision in not wanting the throne, unlike some people in his family. They just want him to be safe and happy ♡ cue baby Eli running to them whenever he felt sad/ or his parents became too overbearing

He falls in love way too easily to the point where it's destructive. Most people use him or try to influence him to take the throne-  he is fully aware of this and allows it to happen

Helps and invests in existing or founding charities

Always popping into the kitchens for some freshly baked jelly tarts

He hates spending the night alone so he often stays out 

Protective towards his friends and family, especially if they pose a threat to their safety- no really, don’t let his passiveness towards himself fool you. He is his mothers child. 

Relies on alcohol a bit too much and the extravagant wine cellar does not help

He never holds his status above anyone nor does he flaunt it 

Is demi sexual and homoromantic 

Eventually would like to move abroad- open up animal hospitals/ perform surgeries

He is a terrible cook and is also allergic to cherries

The ball/ evening party is finally over and everybody has gone home- besides a couple of cleaners- and Muse A and B, in their tipsy state decide to have one  last dance before calling it quits. Maybe at first muse A  was reluctant to go but B manages to convince them. 

Muse B has been overworking themselves and so, feeling concerned and wanting to be a supportive friend, Muse A cooks for them. Either Muse A is an excellent cook/or a terrible one.

Eli and your muse have known each other for a long time because your muse or their family member work in the kitchens. and Eli is always popping in for the freshly baked jelly tarts.

Feeling troubled and unable to sleep, Eli calls your muse to sleep round and keep him company until he dozes off.

you have grown concerned over Eli’s reckless lifestyle. Maybe a scandal is about to break out/ you call him out on his behavior/ or you found him blacked out in his room

Maybe you find out about Eli’s ‘sleeping habits’ and because you need something from him, blackmail him- depending on the characters and motivations can keep this sfw or not

Eli opens up to you about his secret- this one is a lot darker and will include trigger warnings

When they were younger both muses were best friends; always together. However as they got older, they started to drift apart. Jobs, responsibilities, just changing in general. Now they try and rekindle what they once had? Or don't?

born the third child of the strict royal park household vying for the throne, she’s the third in line of the family, and the fraternal twin to the canon park 2

park eran, otherwise known as elia (listen my big brain just went lets combine elia martell and ellaria sand together OTL)

she’s the younger two of the park fraternal twins and also the more ambitious of the two 

highly ambitious, very carnal and justifiably loud and observant. she’s the first person you will notice when the park family enters, after her oldest sibling, because of her desire to impress and her charismatic allure 

flirtatious, and will flirt with you because really, she heck cares and is a scheming prat

is currently in a secret relationship with the han canon, and very physically attracted & emotionally possessive over him, though she often tends to quarrel strongly with him in the presence of others or deliberately try to stir his ire (knowingly most of the time, unknowingly :) half of the time) 

jealous, possessive, highly demanding and cunning, she’s managed to maneuver her way through the royals and her family being who she is as that flirtatious, ambitious person while not destroying their uncle, aunts / parents’  perception of her as a good little girl of the parks

highly disgruntled that her older twin will always be considered first for the royal throne, partly because of him coming out first and partly because of their gender.

she’s a law student, and despite the many different parties that she attends sgjk she’s actually a bright and intelligent student, so it was her own abilities that got her to her place in that prestigious law school

she’s probably going to get arranged into a marriage soon, who knows

everything is a competition, first come first serve, law of the jungle, and she’s one of the fiercest fighters you’ll ever come across, with no doubtedly..rather questionable morals as well 

she desires to sit on the throne herself

some plot ideas:

if you are possibly from a rich family / are close with other royal families be in in job or personally, you’ll probably find her wanting to get close to you. 

flings that she’s had, or old flames that she tend to still tease

she’s gotten a hold of one of your secrets and is teasing you about it or demanding something from you in exchange for...her memory to be wiped clean of that secret information

you’ve gotten hold of some info about her secret r/s and have come to talk to her about it

she’s stolen your first kiss at a party / accidentally : D

people who really don’t like her 

people who doubt her rather pristine and good girl image in front of their elders given her own heck care attitude amongst those of similar age

people who doubt that she’s satisfied with being just a princess

people who want to work with her, aka help her attain the throne in exchange for some personal benefits
