President Donald Trump said on Tuesday the US would sell a “gold card” to wealthy foreigners, giving them the right to live and work in the US and offering a path to citizenship in exchange for a $5 million fee.

“We’re going to be selling a gold card,” Trump said from the Oval Office. “You have a green card. This is a gold card. We’re going to be putting a price on that card of about $5 million and that’s going to give you green card privileges, plus it’s going to be a route to citizenship. And wealthy people will be coming into our country by buying this card.”

Trump said the sale of the cards will begin in about two weeks and suggested millions of such cards could be sold.

Asked whether he would consider selling the cards to Russian oligarchs, Trump responded: “Yeah, possibly. I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people.”

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, standing alongside Trump, said the card will replace the government’s EB-5 immigrant investor visa program, which allows foreign investors to pump money into US projects that create jobs and then apply for visas to immigrate to the US.

“They’ll have to go through vetting, of course,” Lutnick said, “to make sure they’re wonderful world-class global citizens.”

Created by Congress in 1992, the EB-5 program can grant green cards to immigrants who make a minimum investment of least $1,050,000, or $800,000 in economically distressed zones called targeted employment areas, to create jobs for American workers, according to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services website.

A company called the United States of America has been licensed by Trump to sell the unlimited edition golden ticket for rich immigrants with no matter what the money comes from. Trump's immigration programme for blood money, diamonds, drug barons and other shady characters costs just five million per head.

The American people are already looking forward to the many new citizens who simply buy in. We assume that there will be no need for background checks on money, because money doesn't stink.

Once again I am ASTOUNDED at his hypocrisy

Once again it's apparently only illegal if you're poor. He's putting a price tag on something he claims to hate and wants to stop. "Close the border!" He cries. "Build a wall!" He screams. Unless you're rich, of course.

And he's letting rich people who may have criminal histories, supposedly like those illegal immigrants he keeps talking about, come into the country for "the right price". It doesn't matter if it's 5 million or not, he's still letting these people in for a price and have a fast pass at becoming a citizen when the regular common man has to wait YEARS just to get a GREEN CARD. And it's hypocritical, especially because he cut funding to the CBP app that allowed easier access to legal immigration pathways for common people which was put in place to stop illegal border hopping.

This man makes no sense and only wants money. He is going to drive us into the ground with his greed and the people that voted for him are cheering as if they aren't going to go down with us.

It's all a bunch of bologna. If I could think straight right now, I'd say more, and maybe I'll say more things about it later, but right now, this is all I've got. I can't with this country anymore.

Dr Mehmet Oz, according to the Guardian is a “former heart surgeon and TV pitchman.” The Senate confirmed him in a party-line 53-45 vote. Oz was confirmed as the Senate held debates on cutting funding to the Medicaid program. Oz has “not said yet whether he would oppose such cuts to the government-funded program, instead offering a vision of promoting healthier lifestyles, integrating artificial intelligence and telehealth into the system, and rethinking rural healthcare delivery [and] that he did favor work requirements for Medicaid recipients, but that paperwork shouldn’t be used to reaffirm that they are working or to block people from staying enrolled.” Oz has shown support for Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again” project, however he has recommended that Americans get vaccinated.

The New York Post defines them as “‘green-card privileges-plus’ effectively revamping the backlogged and cumbersome EB-5 visa program.” The EB-5 grants US permanent-resident status to wealthy foreigners who put money into business ventures that create American jobs. Trump said that the cards would “be out in less than two weeks, probably.”
