I HAD SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH MY DAD,, i got a free aromantic sticker with my binder and my dad curious as ever was like "what's that one?" so I told him "that's aromantic, when you feel little to no romantic attraction basically" and he goes "oh me!" and wanders off LIKE???? OKAY !!!!!!!!

Since telling my Mum that I considered myself ace, I already noticed that she was a bit… too interested, if you want to say it like that. Asking for “signs”, or how being ace feels like… I tried to answer her to the best of my ability, giving her links to websites that would explain better as I ever could.

Today she said, very quietly, “Do you think I could be ace, too?”

And I said very carefully “If you think it suits you, I don’t see why not”

And my Mum, my strong, self-confident Mum, who never once  has ever felt uncomfortable in her own skin as far as I know, beamed in relief. Relief. 

 Because she never knew. Because getting married young and bearing children for her husband (meaning sex) was expected of her. Because everyone gave her the feeling as if something would be wrong or broken about her if she didn’t want, didn’t do that.

Because her whole life long, she thought there was something wrong with her.

I’m honestly torn between feeling happy and relieved for her, and angry that humanity has such trouble with showing some understanding to those who don’t fit in the boxes society has designed for all of us.

Также, в этот насыщенный событиями день входят: таинственный перформанс, спектакль, заводные стихи и музыка. В эту же программу входит: представление проектов, все идеи которые наконец воплотятся в реальность. И все это будет проходить в уютной обстановке за чашечкой горячего чая уютной атмосферой конца рабочей недели. Все эти прекрасные вещи начнутся 8 Марта, 12:30.

I have a few but the first that came to mine, and idk if he rlly counts + my memory is foggy but:

Pokemon Y, wonder trading away when I get a Latios. Now Latias was my favourite growing up, I based my old username around it and my old nickname came from it but I never really had that much love for Latios the same for Latias. I kept it of course, free legend after all.

That random Latios, all the way from Japan, not a single special thing about it became my best fucking friend forever in that game. Took it everywhere, worked my ass off trying to figure out how to mega-evolve him, treated him like gold. I think I got him to LV100 too, don't even know why.

Maybe theres some kind of metaphor here for transgenderness too, considering I grew up thinking becoming a boy wasn't an option but still loving the boy things and wishing that was me. That my love for Latias to then Latios represented that part of myself before I even knew it but yeah, Latios. Still means a lot to me, and I think he's on my sisters X save since I wanted to restart my Y. Again, cus I was a girl back then.

Fellow pokemon gamers out there I wanna know what you're like, favorite pokemon is, but not in the typical way I mean one that you had ingame that was your specialest little guy in the world and was your favorite to use all the time even if it wasnt really your favorite pokemon species.

Mine was a shiny Linoone named Sylvester who I caught by chance as a level 3 Zigzagoon like 7 years ago exactly a month away from my birthday and he's been my favoritest little guy ever since, behold
