Hey little update.

I currently lost two friends after some conflicting emotions and it’s sort of why I’ve been less active. Don’t worry, nothing major but its been a lot. I’m still writing some Harold fics and RGB fics and I’m not going anywhere from this fandom. I also know that it’s been a lot for my American friends.

I hope to help push through and make more content that isn’t me just reblogging posts. And I hope you guys tune in and join the GOOBUSTERS server since I’m very active on there.

we wanted to get him a coat to wear... but he hated it. grrr

Gooigi had never seen a real castle before, let alone one with real lava- this was exciting! Sure, Castle MacFrights looked like a castle, but that was just a fancy hotel floor for the purposes of medieval reenactments. A real castle with real lava was new, especially if it contained boos that they could capture and bring home to E. Gadd to study.

Of course, Gooigi needed to get inside first. It always struggled with doors, but this door was big, across a huge moat, and didn't even have a doorknob. That didn't matter though, right? A door is a door, and it knew from Luigi that if you need help opening a door, you knock. Scoping out a nearby rock, it sucked it into the end of its poltergust, and launched it ahead at the 'door' with a loud thunk!

Chuchuigi [Closed]

The forests of Mistwood, as the locals called it, seemed ripe as a place to find other Minish, and perhaps — if they’re lucky — the hiding spot of the newly displaced Earth Element. 

It’d been a day’s journey from Spirale City to the mystic forest itself. Link came equipped with what he find, assembling a replacement shield (a trash can lid he lifted from the dump), a sleeping bag (rolled onto his back), and several days’ worth of food and water. (Though, strangely, these bottles weren’t made of glass. And there were so many of them, too!)

With his pack on his back and Ezlo on his head, Link ventures forth to the unknown. It’s not long before they spot another figure in the mist.

It looks like another human being. Link can only make out its silhouette, but he wonders what they’re doing out here in the woods. “Hey!” he calls out.

The figure moves.

As they emerge from out of the mist, Link sees they’re only shaped like a human. They wiggle and wobble like a Chuchu would and have that green gooey texture to them, too.

Link holds tight to his makeshift shield and grips the Sword of Nerf in his hand. He stands his ground, watching their every move. 

Is it friend? Or is it foe?

Let The Goo Times Roll [Closed]

Susie found a cafe — a good cafe — not too far from her Golden Ward apartment. It was a place to recuperate from the cold and plug away on her SpiraleSoft laptop.

With unlimited WiFi and her choice of refreshments, she could see herself staying here for quite some time, but she hopes it’s not too long before she manages to get this thing off the ground.

She’s typing up a mission statement when a sudden squelch catches her attention. Something green and translucent slides past the door.

It... resembles what could be a person.

She’s only seen something like this before as part of her job from her last company. Could this mean that someone else had...

Hmm. She doesn’t quite know what to think.

Susie watches it with caution from across the room, looking back and forth from her screen to the slime. She waits to see what the creature does next.

(She hopes it doesn’t go after her cupcake.)

☽☾ ⋯ “Are… you okay?” Sheepishly whispered with a furrowed brow, Leian watches the strange little thing traipse through the snow. Because thing it was, green and gooey and not whole in the slightest. Maybe they were just… sick? Green and weird looking, it was very possible, given nothing here seemed to work how she expected it to.

She reaches out, offering the small soup cup she’d taken from the pot soup, yet makes no move to relax the fighting tension that burned through her muscles. It hadn’t done anything to her yet. “Here.” It might make the weird looking thing feel a bit better.

“Good news, everyone!” Everyone, in this case, being the employees of Pandora Cafe. “I’ve taken the liberty of printing business cards for you all. Be sure that you give them to everyone you meet!”

“These are for you, Ms. Oliveira. Thank you for looking these over for me.” If it weren’t for her, she’d honestly doubt that this whole group would be here today. @gentlelxllaby​

Gooigi was fine, really. If anything, Luigi had probably gotten more scrapes and bruises fighting that caveman than his doppelganger had being chewed up. Yes, Gooigi might have still been a little disoriented from the ordeal– they hadn’t had to stretch like that in any other fight, and now their movements felt sluggish and off-kilter– but they weren’t hurt. They couldn’t be.

So really, the gentle hand on their shoulder was entirely unnecessary.

Gooigi looked down at the glove resting on his shoulder and made no move to push it away, even if doing so probably would have encouraged Luigi to keep pressing forward in their mission. The touch wasn’t necessary, but it wasn’t entirely unwelcome, either.

Slowly, Gooigi lifted their own hand and gave Luigi’s a couple quick, thankful pats. The human made so many gestures that never would have occurred to his doppelganger, but which Gooigi was determined to learn and adopt. They might not make him a more effective ghostbuster, but they had value in their own right. Luigi was an interesting source for that sort of thing.

Trying out another motion he had learned from his original, Gooigi gently set Luigi’s hand back down by his side and pulled the other ghostbuster into a careful, uncertain hug.

Gooigi didn’t think he was supposed to be able to feel in the same capacity as his human counterpart, but the gentle concern behind that touch had definitely made him feel something. He wanted to be able to offer reassurance and support like Luigi did.

Maybe more of Luigi’s quirks were rubbing off on him than he knew.

     This fight was rough, first having to handle the t-rex skeleton then the caveman that possessed it. Luigi clearly had the bruises, bumps, and even cuts to show. Yet, he still felt more guilty having to use Gooigi as bait for the boned dino. Yes, he knew that they were simply made of goo. Yes, he knew that they couldn’t really feel pain. E. Gadd told him all of that. However, as they were as close to living as slime could get, he couldn’t help but feel bad.

     So, Luigi decided, after the fight, to do something to show his concern. The two couldn’t communicate with words, so gestures would have to do. He decided on a gentle hand on the shoulder. That wasn’t too jarring of a gesture, right? Although how Gooigi felt was still a bit weird to him, he was pretty much able to put that aside now.

     When they noticed what he’d done, Luigi gave a warm grin. He was glad that worked, considering that he knew that emotions and social cues weren’t their specialty. He would’ve just done it for a moment or so before letting go, but he wanted to make sure they were okay with what he just did.

     Considering the fact Gooigi didn’t do anything to signal that they didn’t like it, that was a good sign. Though, what Luigi didn’t expect was to get something back. When they patted at his hand, he lowered it, thinking it was over. What he didn’t expect was to be pulled into a hug. His grin grew as wide as it could be at this, and he hugged back, this one being a bit tighter and enveloping.

     Luigi didn’t expect them to give a hug like that, but he was certain they got it from him. Either way, it warmed his heart. It seemed like they were able to... feel emotion, in some capacity. E. Gadd never said anything about them being able to do that, but maybe they were learning?

     All he knew for sure was that this was just what he needed during these times.

It was morning time, and Luigi had finally gotten a break from all of the madness that he and his friends had endured at the hotel. He and the others all sighed in relief and went off to either sleep in their own beds, or do something which relaxed them, after dropping all of their bags, and deciding to just unpack them later, after all, they were much too exhausted.

Polterpup popped up next to Luigi, and barked, though the plumber was far too tired, and immediately closed his eyes. Due to lots and lots of sniffing, however, ghost dog picked up another scent, it was similar to Luigi, but it..wasn't?

He barked, happily, curiously, despite the plumber's annoyance.
