does anyone see MY bixcassian vision where theyre like. not Together on mina-rau but their constant cover is being married. and then after they have to leave and they get separate assignments from wilmon and now its really just the two of them and their history is just like bubbling between them

but its sort of hot and cold because bix is managing as best as she can but cassian is kind of spiraling under the pressure of their missions and his paranoid anxiety about bixs safety. im envisioning like. hey cassian can u sleep in the other room right now. and then cassians freaking out about not being a good enough support for bix and dragging her somewhere she shouldnt have ended up with him.

and then hes like um. bix im going on a solo mission please enjoy ur time away from me. and shes like WHAT. do u mean. i gotta come with u. not because im definitely codependently attached to the homey feeling u give me or whatever but because IM the one who wants to do this rebellion shit u cant leave me out. definitely the reason.

many such conflicts like this. and then theyre on yavin and its like. so what maybe theyre in love maybe theyre fucking idk. theyre childhood friends and one of the few connections they have to ferrix and their history and what theyre been thru together and i feel like s2 wanted us to feel their love and protectiveness but what IM looking for here is their fear and their guilt and their warmth and the home that they see in each other. anyway.

Work kicked my ass so much last week that I spent 90% of my 3 day weekend rotting in bed and ignoring everything and everyone.

thank you so much!! 🥺 I prefer writing AUs because it comes easier to me. I'm a relative Star Wars noob at the end of the day, so writing canonverse can be intimidating. I was super nervous doing it the first time and I know I've definitely made some obvious errors that probably made the more SW-savvy people cringe. I've definitely improved and I'm not as scared of it anymore, but I feel a lot more confident playing with my little AUs. and I always really enjoy figuring out how to put these characters into the story and setting I've created (or borrowed) 💜

I think those episodes were good, but three episodes was a LOT. Losing Brasso would have hit much harder if it wasn't all in one go. As opposed to he's back, then gone. Even spacing out the wedding. I dunno, that's just my concern throughout the season because it lessens the tension and slow build. Though, that is a disney thing and not the fault of the creators.

The other side to it is I just miss the acolyte so so bad. It sucks to watch this really expensive-appearing show after hearing the acolyte was too expensive to renew. (I mean, I know that's not why.) But I feel like I'm not connecting with s2 the same way I did s1. Or, it doesn't feel as grounded.

Sometimes I think about how wild the workplace gossip at the ISB must be just, like, in general? Because sure, they’re ISB, but they’re human. You know they’re gossiping.

You know those immaculate white-gray halls have heard their fair share about who’s done what for whom to earn which promotion, and who’s having an affair, and who Partagaz’s favorites are even though they really don’t deserve it but I do and here’s why, and who goes out for drinks a little too frequently after work, and who has a stim pill problem. They’re being Imperial-uptight about it and everyone pretends it’s not happening because it’s not professional, but they are gossiping. You can’t sit around a table of people with whom you’re in direct, cutthroat competition every single day, suspicion boiling in every cold gaze, and not.
