Found a copy of "The Need For Speed" Carmen Sandiego graphic novel at the library today and decided to check it out, found some pretty funny and unnecessary editing of Graham and Black Sheep, girl has basically abandoned the sparring stick and is out for blood - also the change in height difference 😭

Also hilarious that they straight up just removed Shadowsan from the final scene, not even a mention in the book

Do you think carmen showed gray where she lived during their academy year, of course not actually telling him that's where she lived.

oh! i was initially going to say no because of the first half

i feel like carmen is very secretive about her role in VILE, like he asks her for her story and she deflects

like gray knows she's lambkins so...mascot? maybe, it does imply that she might be there longer than them if Brunt has a nickname for her and if she knows when to barrage cookie with balloons but the train is the first time she tells gray everything and he IS confused on the everything and that's because she's keeping her cards close to her chest so avoiding the place she was bored in after she'd already brought all her important stuff to the bunks while she just occasionally steals moments to build her friendship with player feels about right to me

carmen likes moving forward

but! if she doesn't tell him?

she can't help looking back sometimes, and has a gift giving habit

there was like this cute art of them studying there like aww so just for that, if carmen just kinda omitted that its hers for as long as she could while gray kinda has suspicions but doesn't push her so they just study there...like i do buy that

so im gonna go with i think it would be cute if they just get a little sick of being overcrowded at the library lol and gray grumbled about it and carmen just goes ...OH HEY without telling him even if he's obviously suspicious

i think it would be a cute thing to happen since blacksheep raised her hand to ask on his behalf when they were gonna learn cool stuff in the deleted scene, and offered to steal the rod in the book, and shared her balloon tradition with them all so i totally believe if he dropped that he needed somewhere less annoying to study she might offer it up even if she would prefer not go back herself only to find that being study buddies there was ok actually, nice even
