Hey there! My name is Julia, creator of Project Sheik Cosplay! I am a fan of all things video game and anime, and absolutely love getting to bring my favorite characters to life. I’ve been cosplaying for just a little over 3 years, and have enjoyed every moment of it! I’m local to Boise, but have had the opportunity to travel to and compete at a variety of different cons. With each new project I take on I find myself learning more and more skills, meeting new people, and making wonderful memories. GSCC Breaking News

Fandom friends, 

We have some news and updates to share: Due to the recommendations of the local and federal officials, and the recently announced 4-phase plan to reopen Idaho, we are moving #GemStateComicCon2020 to OCTOBER 3rd, 2020. This is our final date, and we are very thankful to the Expo Idaho who went above and beyond to fit us in in October.

We also have a date for the next year: April 10th, 2021, and we plan to keep April as our convention month. All tables and tickets are good for October 3rd, 2020. If you can't make it, your will be transferred to April 10th, 2021. We are working on October 3rd, and in the meantime, we resume our online celebrity panels, and our next guest is Jon Provost from Lassie. The panel with Jon will be on Zoom Saturday, May 9th, at 7 pm MST. Please stay safe, and we are looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Gem State Comic Con 2020 Special Guest: ETHEN BEAVERS

Ethen Beavers lives in Central California and has been working in Children's Books, Comics and Animation for fifteen years. He works traditionally and digitally on a variety of projects in many different styles and thematic tones. He also loves fly fishing for trout across the western U.S. Some of his credits include Star Wars, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ben 10, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans Go, Legion Of Superheroes, Dexter's Laboratory, and Samurai Jack.
