With the myriad of issues we've had with our apartment, most recently the Internet issue that at this point obviously won't be remedied, we asked if we could change buildings and they said yes. On one hand, yay! New fresh start! Prettier view! No drunken neighbor screaming slurs all day and night! And finally (hopefully) Internet that works and doesn't drop a few minutes EVERY few minutes (which is great because my bf and I both wfh)!

The problem however is that our landlord is pushing us to do this fast. Like, in the next few days. And uhhh brother, I'm not ready for that. At all.🙃

I have so much stuff. So much. And mandatory training for a new system at work for the next two weeks, so I can't use vacation or sick time. And even if the building is just a few feet away, I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF TO PACK AND MOVE POTENTIALLY LAST MINUTE AHHHHH!!!!!

So I'm majorly stressing!!! I came in my room to start packing up dolls but instead I'm sitting on Tumblr about to lose it. So it goes. Root for me please, I'll need it. 🥲

Dejammed AU Question! The idea of Candy Apple being in baby jail and Black Sapphire being AWOL is so interesting! It kinda makes sense for CA since her in-canon power range seems to be a lot more limited compared to Sapphire and Shmilk. But, uh, in terms of my actual question! There's a post on CRK's official twitter that reinforces the idea that, despite the two minions differences, Sapphire will always come to CA's aid like any older sibling would. I know their relationship is probably different in the AU... But, in some way and somehow, is Sapphire still keeping an eye on CA? Perhaps the little imp swears she saw a pupil in a grape, staring at her, but by the time she looks it's gone, and soon enough she's crushing the grapes into paste, while muttering how annoyed she is with Sapphire for not helping her get away from these pesky faeries. . . Sorry if this is me projecting. I just love these sibling-coded goobers so much! This is one of my favorite CRK AUs yet.

they absolutely do have that sort of connection in this au as well, there is no other way. candy apple is angry though, angry that black sapphire seemingly left her behind, having to deal with the disappearance of their master on her own. hes always been annoying and a big meanie, but she thought hed still be around to watch her back, and yet here we are. seems like he doesnt care about all that, talk about betrayal

what she doesnt know (early on, she finds out eventually) is that she isnt the only one working on helping their master after his defeat. there have been some worrisome rumors spread around, about shady figures showing up in Creme Republic, but nobody has been able to apprehend these suspicious cookies. very alarming indeed
