If I was a princess of Jötunheimr, I guess I'd be pretty huge, huh? Stronger too. Neat.
A spin on Nephenee's new resplendent, but as her Halberdier class from FE10! thank you to @labmemb3r for commissioning another Nephenee!!

I really like, from a game design standpoint, specifically a design space standpoint, AoEII's attack and armour system.
The way it works is that units have different armour classes and different attack types. For example, the pikeman has the melee attack type, but it has both the melee armour class and the piercing (basically ranged, but not necessarily) armour class. Melee attacks will target the melee armour class, so if a pikeman has 2 melee armor and a unit attacks them with 7 melee attack, the pikeman takes 5 damage. Simple. The same math works with piercing attacks.
But! There are a great many different armour classes, and attacks can have multiple damage types. This is how bonus damage and unit countering is mediated. For example, the pikeman also has the infantry armour class, where it has 0 armour. The hand cannoneer is a lategame gunpowder unit that does 17 piercing damage and an additional 10 infantry damage. Against non-infantry units (i.e. units without infantry armour), that 10 damage does nothing, but it does apply to the pikeman, so a lategame halberdier with maximum 3 pierce armour will take 24 damage from a hand cannoneer.
This comes up in really interesting ways, sometimes. For example, siege weapons are designed to be weak to melee, the idea being that positioning your siege becomes important. You opponent can't just sit archers behind a wall or inside a castle and shoot down your siege, they have to send their army out, or build counter siege. To help enforce this dynamic and make counterplay viable, rams have -3 melee armour, effectively taking bonus damage from all melee units.
But this also leaves some civs vulnerable. The chinese, for example, don't have all that good cavalry, their upgrades are ok but they top out at light cavalry (a midgame unit), the swordsman line is niche in general, their knight line is firmly mediocre, and they can't build the mangonel (catapult) line or the bombard canon at all. So their melee anti-siege options aren't great, and their siege anti-siege options are terrible until trebuchets come out, and trebs are only really good against other trebs.
So what to do? Give their unique archer, the Chu Ko Nu, 0 melee damage. That affects nothing in most matchups, but it does give the chinese an option against ram pushes in castle-age where they wouldn't normally have one.
This also lets you build counter-counter-units. The Cataphract is a unique cavalry unit that is meant to be a tanky mob-cleaner, expensive with good damage, high armour, high HP, and dealing bonus 9-12 infantry damage and dealing an extra 5 damage in small area around its main target. None of that would matter much against a group of halberdiers, because halbs deal a massive +32 damage against cavalry, are cheap as hell, and don't cost any gold (the game's "premium" resource, like gas in SC/SC2). You could trade 3 halbs for every cataphract and still be cost effective, and at those numbers you'd be trading closer to 1.5 to 1.
So the game gives the cataphract 12-16 cavalry armor, cutting the halb bonus damage down by 35-50%, letting it live long enough to get a few good swings in to let that bonus and area damage pile up. I still wouldn't recommend sending a group of cataphracts into a group of halbs, it's not a great fight to be having, but it's not a terrible trade, they can counter counter-cavalry units.

Reposting this from spreddit but here is my ideal set of classes for Fire Emblem! Explanations as follows:
This is basically a combination of Fates and Engage's class system. I prefer somewhat limited reclassing just so that not everyone is made to be a flier. I may or may not be interested in engage's blue weapon system that lets some characters have higher weapon ranks but most of this is up for interpretation.
Tumblr media
Lord: I like experimental lords (dagger lord?) But any lord would be fine
Noble: Just an extension of the current lord. Whether that means mounted, gaining a weapon or whatever
Mercenary: I don't see the need for a myrmidon class since it ultimately serves the same purpose as an infantry sword unit (and in some games these classes are related anyway)
Swordmaster: A regular in the series. I'd like to see the return of throwing swords just to make being sword locked better but I think a general nerf to throwing weapons (think Fates) would be appreciated to make normal 2 ranged weapons still have a purpose
Hero: Another regular. I liked engage having sword/lance heros so I would like that to return
Tumblr media
Fighter: A neat class
Berserker: Just mentioning that innate bonus should return and berserker should get its +20 crit -5 avoid again
Warrior: A somewhat common class. I'll say now that I'd like archers to have a small buff so that warrior (if engage class types return) isn't just better archer
Lancer: A rare player class that deserves its spot among its infantry bretheren
Halberdier: Another rare class that should be more common
Dragoon: (name not important) had some suggestions to put a lance/bow user here and I liked the idea better than anything we currently have so here we go!
Tumblr media
Cavalier: I don't want too many classes with weapon options but I'd be erasing herstory if I didn't include all the cavalier types (mostly thinking about axe Titania)
Paladin: Same as cavalier. Depending on what type of cavalier you were determines which weapon is A rank and which is B (A swords B lances, A axes B swords etc.)
Wolf knight: A new edition that I quite like. Also spreads out daggers among the classes
Armor: Lance and Axe armors (excluding knight for promotes, just for orginization) are both pretty common so why not include both (sorry meg)
General: Again, just get the weapon you didn't have before. I like fates movement so that might be a handycap for armors but I also like how engage gave cavaliers just one more mov then their infantry counterparts so hopefully they wouldn't suffer too much.
Great knight: the only class to get all normal weapons at once which I think is neat
Tumblr media
Archer: I feel like archer deserves +1 bow range. With the addition of daggers as another physical ranged weapon and with engage's magic system, it feels only fair to me.
Sniper: Same as archer
Bow Knight: A pretty common class. I feel like if you are using a mounted bow user the other weapon you get doesn't matter too much so being sword lock both adds more swords to the class roster and limits bow knights a bit.
Mage: I really like engage's magic system (fire is the basic one, thunder has 3 range but can't double normally, wind is more accurate, is flyer effective, and has some crit) and I want it to return
Sage: I'm open to sage having S tomes and B staves but for now A A at least gives it a unique distinction
Tactitian: There have been multiple ignis magic user with sword usage but they have all been unique classes, so no more! Also finally gives mage its own promotions instead of sharing them with anyone
Tumblr media
Theif: Idk why theif didn't have promotions in engage, so here we go.
Assassin: A favorite of mine. Daggers are basically bow swords so I don't see the need to give assassin either, which also lines up with the other S rank weapon classes
Trickster: There have been a few theif secondary promotes (rouge, adventurer, mechanist) but trickster is the most interesting to me so I'll leave it here. Also the return of a magic dagger would be appreciated and made for this class
Dark mage: An uncommon regular but a regular nontheless. Also means the return of dark magic, but I'd appreciate if they all had a unique purpose (nosferatu, luna to cut resistance, dark spikes, etc.)
Sorcerer: I thought it could be neat to give Sorcerer's daggers but it's just a thought
Dark knight: Now a dark mage exclusive, I wouldn't be opposed to them getting dark magic too but thats just me. Since tactitian is a class now I figured why not let dark knight use any secondary weapon (though they'll prob want swords since I'd like levin swords to still be the best magic weapon option)
Tumblr media
Cleric: idk if I like brawling that much but I like how it played with the weapon triangle in engage so I'm keeping it, Qi adept is also just a fun class type idea
High Priest: "why is their weapon rank so high???" They only get light magic, which would be weaker fire magic, though with affects like dark magic (think thani, nosferatu but light this time, seraphim, siege tome S rank?)
Monk: Or martial master if you are so inclined. I'd be willing to up its staff rank to S but thats up to you
Troubadour: Absent in engage but it deserves to be here
Holy Knight: or Valkyrie if u r sexist or Strategist even though it has name overlap with tactitian. Also only gets light magic but wouldn't get the S rank tome (or maybe lower it to B? Up to you)
War Cleric: I just like Jacob and Felicia okay!? Also covers Fate's priestess so maybe giving them a bow option would be neat (name also not important)
Tumblr media
Pegasus Rider: Sorry to any Axe pegasus riders but I'm weaponist and it just ain't right. Also gender neutral because pls guys ;-;
Falcon Knight: I like this class, its just so cool
Griffin knight: I was convinced to put a bow flier here, and it does look quite nice next to falcon knight doesn't it? Also doesn't have to be a griffin put whatever flier u like
Wyvern Rider: No swords sowwy
Wyvern Lord: idk why its not wyvern knight but go off royal
Malig knight: Tome flier has come up a couple of times now so including it here feels good to me. Doesn't have to be a necro wyvern, put whatever flying thing u want here
Tumblr media
Beast: Okay so 'bear' with me here. Beast transformation classes are pretty common and they deserve to be included. I thought it would be cool if the class determined what the stones did, so normal beasts would have a beastone and runestone equivelent (attack stone, defensive stone)
Beast Royal: (name experimental) A stronger beast in about everyway. They could have the SMASH effect on their weapon or be given the same property as brawling, or maybe always have weapon advantage!? Last one is overpowered but you get the idea. Any idea wprks here
Animal Spirit: Would have higher resistance and maybe speed. I feel like these are supporters (think radiant dawn dragons) or they could have terrain effects (think Emblem corrin)
Manakete: Even more common than beasts but rarely has a promoted class. I thought they could have a dragonstone and a magestone that deals magic damage, something that often occurs in the games
Wyrm: (names not important) Wyrms get 1-2 range on their stones.
Amphiptere: If you couldn't tell from the spirte, they'd be flying units, but with infantry movement and no 1-2 range. Some might want to include a flying beast but I feel like we already have enough fliers as is.
Tumblr media
Villager: or Trainee if you are so inclined. Not my favorite class type but they are kind of a staple so here they are. Maybe they can only become specifically types relating to their weapon (mage trainee can only become classes with tomes)
Performer: or dancer. A staple in the series but no promotions as far as I can see, so lets change that
Singer: Basically they can refresh 2 units at once, (think lene) could also incorperate galdr or singing giving different buffs along with the refresh.
Bard: Can refresh and still use their own turn. Could put gimicky stuff on it like item usage and other weird stuff.
And that's how I'd do it! I'd like to hear any opinions or what you would do differently. If you read all the to the bottom then thank you and have a good day <3

What are some reclasses you guys did in your playthroughs?
I reclassed Amber and Lapis to halberdier and paladin so they wouldn't overlap with Alfred and Kagetsu
I also switched Jade to a griffin knight because I was hoping it would work better with her personal skill. I'm rethinking my options for her
Anna's crazy fun as a bow knight
And I gave each of the Four Winds a different class to contrast the Four Hounds. Gregory and Madeline were a martial master and great knight. Originally, Zelestia was a griffon knight, but then I switched to a mage knight so the Winds would have a tome user again

I'm a basic person. I want to draw my OTP dressed up for a ball. This is for Chapter 2 of The Pride of Elusia. I know it looks like he's asking for her hand, but it's supposed to be more of an "are you ready to go" gesture. Extensive notes about the inspirations for these outfits below the cut.
So I've said this before, but I think the designs of Engage are partly inspired by late 1700s–very early 1800s France. Ivy's dress here is like 1780-ish. But a big thing in Engage is asymmetry, so I twisted everything to the side. The decorative part on her chest would be like the stomacher which would normally go down the center of the chest. It's not as obvious on the skirt from the angle I drew it, but the split is off to the side rather than the middle. The scarf is partly like a fichu which would be tucked into the neckline and partly like the stole Ivy wears in her advanced class. The tiara she's wearing is actually the same design as Hortensia's, but I made it green and it ended up looking like a laurel wreath which is kind of interesting. The color scheme was taken from one of the Elusian villager variations. Zelkov's outfit is more early 1800s although it definitely took inspiration from the halberdier uniform. The double breasted coat is very Napoleonic. By Engage standards these outfits are very plain, but the decorations on them are somewhat like the sort of organic swirls on Ivy's fascinator as well as the designs on Kagetsu's pants actually.

Ok let's go 5, 7, 8, 19, 20, 22
5. my favorite story I'm not really sure about to be honest, they all have some big problems, but I think I'd have to say black eagles
7. I think I'd say alois, he just gets overlooked a lot of the time because he's not an important character, but he's just a really lovable guy, he deserves more, I really like his relationship with byleth simply because I like that he feels like he has to take up the responsibilty of father figure (or more so uncle figure) after jeralt dies, and even the s support is pretty explicitly platonic, and I just like uncle alois a lot
8. I'm not really sure tbh, classes don't stand out as much in three houses for me just because everyone can use most weapons, but if I had to pick, probably war master, gremory or trickster
19. hmmm not sure, It's been a while since I've seen any of the supports so I can't really remember a lot about them, but Caspar and Ashe have a fun one where they just feed a stray cat for a while
20. I think Seteth and Ingrid have a great chain, the main topic is the importance of crests in the world and they just have a very good discussion about it, which i like especially because it shows the nuance of seteth and that he isn't all just "crests good" like you might expect from someone in his position
22. I wish halberdier was in this game, mostly because there all the lance based classes have mounts, except for dimitris classes and soldier of all things and it just sucks because I want a ground lance unit, but all the classes with lancefaire all have horses or pegasi
and that's that, I'll go send you one now because you deserve it

Happy August! And happy four-year anniversary to The Officers Academy! We wouldn’t be here without our wonderful community! Our anniversary event is slated to begin soon - stay tuned!
Housekeeping
Current Month in TOA: Lone Moon
Here's where we usually go 'Instead of a Mission Board, we will be running a month-long event!' Of course, we are still running an event (more details below), but this time around the June & July Mission Board will be extended to run through until the end of August. The Unaffiliated requirement remains in effect for the Unaffiliated & Faculty-specific tasks.
The event will run from August 1st to August 31st. Signups are now closed - stay tuned for more information tomorrow at noon EST!
Our monthly submission limit on the site that hosts our event signups has been reset so everyone is free to take the quiz for fun now.
We will be announcing a second Fourth-Year Anniversary activity on August 4th. This will not require IC participation. Stay tuned for the details.
Please don’t forget to leave feedback on our feedback poll for this month! We do check the responses regularly, so if you have concerns during the event, the feedback poll is an appropriate place to pop in. (Alternatively, the mods' dms are always open.)
Important Updates
This year, in lieu of suggestions and voting for a select number of rank chart & class additions to TOA, we're adding a whole bunch of new prizes to expand the rank chart. Ree's been hard at work coming up with a delightful spread of goodies to choose from.
You can check out the new additions on the rank chart itself, or read on for a summary of additions!
General updates
All new personal weapons and lord event classes have had stats added to the manual, and old ones have been rebalanced
All swords now have a base 15% crit
Swordmaster now grants a new ability, Pursuit, along with Astra, and anyone who has mastered Swordmaster can automatically add it to their stats page. This ability grants a 40% base chance for the unit to make a followup attack, which increases the more points of speed they have, independent of the enemy's speed
Air Superiority now grants +2 speed just by having it equipped
Tantivy has had its dex buff removed and now grants +1 strength and +4 avoid as long as the unit is not under the effect of any ally passives, heals, or rallies
Hagakure Blade has been reworked to have the brave sword stat line, but deals magic damage and keeps its effectiveness against magic wielders/classes. Removed its HP cost and the Miracle ability
Archer now only grants Hit+. Bowrange+ has been moved to Sniper mastery. Anyone who has currently claimed Archer mastery will lose Bowrange+ unless they have Sniper mastered
Great Knight now allows the choice of B+ Lance or B+ Axe to access
Sword Avoid+ has been moved from Dancer mastery to C rank sword and its buff lowered from +6 to +4. If you have mastered Dancer, you will have Dazzle and Refresh, but will no longer have access to Sword Avoid+
The War Monk class has been granted Brawl Avoid+ as an additional mastery reward. If you have mastered this class already, you may add this to your stats page.
The Apocalypse spell has been updated
Rank Chart Expansion
New Intermediate classes: Martial Monk - C Gauntlets D Faith | Mastery: Qi Adept Lance Fighter - C Lance | Mastery: Backup
New Advanced classes: Wolf Knight - C Sword, Lance, OR Axe A Riding | Mastery: Hobble Dread Fighter - B Sword OR Lance B Reason | Mastery: Chaos Style Halberdier - A Lance | Mastery: Seal Speed Enchanter - C Sword B Gauntlets | Mastery: Convoy

The Mage Cannoneer class comes with a completely different set of 14 weapons built-in, but cannonballs have limited uses and this class cannot use any other kind of weapon. As a tradeoff, cannonballs do not take up an inventory slot for the Mage Cannoneer class and they have access to all 14 at any given time
New Sword additions: Georgios (A rank) Cinquedea (A rank) Alacrity (A rank)
New Lance additions: Flame Lance (C rank) Venomous (A rank) Adaptability (A rank)

Ha ha ha...
I'm in danger
...
This is a rebalance patch that I edited. I added some extra minibosses (like 5 or 6 extra ones, I like them), three extra recruitable characters (two soldiers and a second shaman, mostly to provide a second option) a Halberdier class for the soldier to promote to...
...
Legit I think Luna cheese might be the only viable way to take down my favorite nonbinary finery boss.
... aight Limstella is canonical agender, I think, but they've lived rent free in my head for 20 years, way longer than any other character in this entire series has.

Note
bean the blorbo time has come
Tellius blorbo nr. 1:
Nephenee!!!
Tumblr media
She is great and fantastic for so many reasons
Her design is great, love the colors and everything else
She is my favorite class
Country girl
great personality
great growth even tho she's a minor character with not a lot of dialogue
gay gay homosexual gay (not technically confirmed but might as well be)
She's a somewhat shy and very self concious country girl. The thing she's self concious about is her appearance and accent because she's worried about coming from the countryside. She ususally stays silent in conversations because she's worried about being disliked because of her strong country accent. She's very kind and caring and absolutely hates war, but joins the gang in a war partially because they saved her, but also because she sees the main gang as being just in their cause and being the best option for finishing the war. She also gets peer pressured easily.
But then by the time of Radiant Dawn (the second game), which takes place three years after Path of Radiance (the first game) where she fought alongside Ike and princess Elinica to end the war, she becomes more confident and sure of herself while still being kind and caring. She basically starts taking no shit and, along with her friend Brom, she quells a rebellion in her village and actually speaks up against the rebels leaders (not from the village) who wants to remove Elincia from the throne because they don't like her, which Nephenee is against because she knows the princess personally and stands up for her. She also doesn't get peer pressured as easily anymore.
She's also just fun to use, she starts with the wrath skill (+50% crit when below half hp) and can very easily be given the vantage skill (attacks first ALWAYS, even on enemy phase) this is just a very lethal combo when mixed with a killer lance. And also soldier -> Halberdier and Halberdier just absolutely slaps as a class, we don't have enough infantry lance users in fire emblem
Also one of the reasons I respect the tellius games so much is that the characters very clearly actually grow older between the two games, including Nephenee!!
Tumblr media
I just like that she actually looks 3 years older, also LOOK AT THAT ARMOUR AAAHHGHHGHGGGHH
final note, look at her girlfriend
Tumblr media
One of the most lesbian characters ever, she literally joins you because she thinks Nephenee is cute, she keeps talking about how she wants to meet the princess because she must be so pretty (she is tbf), her name is Heather, HER NAME IS HEATHER
Anyway that was my first blorbo rant, I love Nephenee so much, genuenly one of my favoritest characters
YURI SOLDIER ON THE FRONT LINES!!!!!!! SHE LOOKS SO COOL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
that helmet is making me want to EXPLODE I LOVE it……… her whole outfit in general……. is just….. v good
also I didn’t know the two Ike games were direct sequels!!! and that they have the same units but older!!!! that’s also really cool!!!!!!!!!!

Fire Emblem: Awakening Muse Verses
In alphabetical order by muse name.
Notes:
Requires some knowledge of Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem, cause that's ancient history of Ylisse's world.
Class sets ignore gender limitations.
New classes include Light Mage (Lambda only, promotes to Light Sage), Foreseer (Shanz only, promotes to Dark Flier or Falcon Knight), Soldier (promotes to Halberdier or General).
More manakete variety means more dragonstones: Divinestone (Lambda, Nah, Nowi, and Tiki only), Earthstone (Divine dragons + Armok only), Firestone (Divine dragons + Lita, Vair, and Wulf only), Icestone (Divine dragons + Taunch only), Magestone (Divine dragons + Lita and Wulf only), Wyvernstone (Divine dragons only because no actual wyverns).
Armok The weirdest example of a Manakete: An Earth dragon who did choose to seal away his true form into a dragonstone, but unlike Medeus, he disappeared during the War of Shadows and has been quietly traveling, up until Tiki took up residence in the Mila Tree, and Armok has decided to hang out and protect her so she’s not lonely. Manakete class, can reclass to Knight and Cavalier.
Bryn A member of Emmeryn’s guard. Warrior class. Was captured with the pegasus knights, and demands vengeance on Gangrel after Emmeryn’s sacrifice. Cannot be recruited until the beginning of the Valm arc. Warrior class, can reclass to Wyvern Rider and Barbarian.
Erdan A swordmaster of Chon’sin, one of Yen’fay’s guard. Knows the pressure Yen’fay is under to protect his sister Say’ri, and is sworn to silence– until he decides that perhaps he can seek aid from someone who has faked his death: Basilio. Knows Basilio is alive thanks to his husband, a mage (of sorts) named Naal. Swordmaster class, can reclass to Archer and Thief.
Gateni A sage from Plegia who defected to Ylisse a long time ago, following an incident where she burned her commanding officer alive rather than murder civilians, and sought asylum in Ylisse. Sage class, can reclass to Dark Mage and Troubadour.
Gwyn A former spy for the Ylissean crown, was a highly skilled agent during the previous king’s war. Regrets some of the things she did, but at least the halidom’s royal family is safe. Trickster class, can reclass to Troubadour and Pegasus Knight.
Halcyon A vulpine Taguel of Plegia who has taken to the seas with a crew of like-minded pirates. Likes to fuck with the Valmese when they invade, and joins the Ylissean forces in the interest of maintaining her freedom and taking Walhart down a peg. Taguel class, can reclass to Barbarian and Wyvern Rider.
Hubert Delphine Langlois’s grandson, heir to her studies and journals. Knows of the future of despair but is sworn to silence until such time comes that he can start acting to prevent it. Tactician class. (He does swords and tomes, which says Dark Knight, but he's not mounted. So Tactician.) Can reclass to Mage and Myrmidon.
Isaac A knight of Valm who was stationed at the Mila Tree to watch over the divine dragon Tiki and keep her imprisoned there; a certain Flame Dragon manakete (Lita) came by and… changed his mind, partially by kicking his ass. Defects to Say’ri’s resistance, and joins the Ylisseans with her. Paladin class, can reclass to Archer and Knight.
Lambda A young divine dragon. Hides her dragonstone to protect herself and the Blackscale rogues who took her in when she was a baby. Recruited when Validar first attempts to assassinate Emmeryn and Chrom; the Blackscales go to interfere in this and Raithyon tells Lambda to go help the Ylisseans however she can. Light Mage class, can reclass to Manakete and Cleric.
Leonard A knight of Ylisse, one of Emmeryn’s guard. Captured along with her pegasus knights when Ylisstol falls; not recruited until the start of the Valm arc. Hero class, can reclass to Archer and Cavalier.
Link A member of the Shepherds. Joined at the suggestion of his father, captain of Emmeryn’s ground guard, to hone his battle skills. Mercenary class, can reclass to Archer and Cavalier.
Lita A fire dragon from the long fallen Dolhr, who travels the world with her younger brother, Wulf, a mage dragon. Kicked the ass of a Valmese knight named Isaac who was stationed at the Mila Tree when Lita wanted to speak with Tiki, and is recruited during the Valm arc when she challenges Yen’fay for apparently betraying his sister. Manakete class, can reclass to Myrmidon and Archer.
Thorn A knight of Valm who, like Isaac, defects because of Lita. Has some feline Taguel blood in him, though he does his best to conceal it. Halberdier class (yea, we're borrowing from Tellius, deal with it). Can reclass to Taguel and Wyvern Rider.
Raithyon Leader of a band of rogues called the Blackscales, blah blah. In chapter six, when Validar attempts to assassinate Emmeryn and Chrom, the Blackscales catch wind of the assassination ahead of time, and march in to prevent this by following Validar’s forces in and striking them from behind. Raithyon challenges Validar himself while he tells Reownha and Lambda to go aid the Ylissean Prince however they can. Assassin class, can reclass to Barbarian and Wyvern Rider.
Raven Captain of Emmeryn’s ground guard, and manages to escape capture when she and her pegasus knights are defeated by Gangrel and dragged to Plegia. Raven is too injured to fight for some time, but he does join at the start of the Valm arc as a Swordmaster class. Can reclass to Archer and Cavalier.
Reownha Daughter of Raithyon Blackscale, sent in with Lambda to assist the Ylisseans in protecting Emmeryn from Validar’s assassination attempt. Reownha figures this is a great foot in the door to getting a paycheck from the Exalted family. Thief class, can reclass to Wyvern Rider and Dark Mage.
Rhoam A lord and warrior from the Valmese continent who surrendered to Walhart rather than fight overtly– and has quietly prepared his own resistance and sent aid to Say’ri. Joins in the Valm Arc during the Valm Castle approach. Warrior class, can reclass to Knight and Mercenary.
Sandalio A member of Emmeryn’s ground guard, captured along with her pegasus knights. Unable to fight until the Valm arc, wherein he joins as a paladin. Can reclass to Archer and Knight.
Shanz A man who knows of the future of despair and seeks to prevent it, by befriending the Shepherds and telling Chrom what’s up. Foreseer class (lance/magic), promotes to Dark Flier. Can reclass to Thief and Mage.
Taunch A half-manakete (ice dragon) who seeks to protect Tiki, and to this end, he resides with her in the Mila Tree. He does not attempt to resist the Valmese who hold her there, but has faith that Tiki will be liberated. Manakete class, can reclass to Mercenary and Wyvern Rider.
Vair A fire dragon who was born to Gildas and Lavena of Dolhr, who in those days defected to the Archanean League to fight with Marth’s father, and were slain. Vair resides in Valm, keeping tabs on Walhart by posing as one of his top commanders, and subtly sabotaging the Conquerer’s work. Joins as a Warrior class, can reclass to Manakete and Mercenary.
Valanthe A divine dragon manakete born shortly before the fall of Dolhr, and Lambda's older sister. Although she conceals her dragonstone, she is still very powerful in that draconic form. Makes her way as a thief or assassin for hire. In her desperate need for funds, she knows ethics are a luxury she can't afford. Assassin class (base Thief), can reclass to Manakete and Mage.
Wulf A manakete (mage dragon) who was born shortly before the fall of Dolhr, and has been guarded jealously by his sister Lita since. For appearances, he is simply a young man who has great talent with healing– leading him to be classed as a Cleric, though he can reclass to Manakete and Troubadour.
Wynne A member of Emmeryn’s ground guard. Captured along with her pegasus knights, joins at the start of the Valm arc. Monk class (She normally does spears, but can do axes... w/e). Can reclass to Troubadour and Pegasus Knight.
