Do you think it is possible for the other trolls to gaslight Eridan into do the murder for the right cause? E.g. not like the murderstuck in the canon but guiding his murderous direction to align with the purpose, using him as a disposable glass cannon and a cannon fodder to take down enemies? but not easily disposable due to seadweller's physical strength and his fighting skills. Not the optimal way to handle him but given that he needs some presence of others how will this scenario go?

So, NewMoon is Nexus and OldMoon is back.

Combined, this puts the largest "death flag" on NewMoon right now. Which sucks.

(I will be using Nexus and Newmoon interchangeably to refer to him. Like pre-villian and post-villian.)

I love OldMoon, I'm happy he's back... But like...

What is this non-reaction from Sun?? It's so boring. There's so much to yell and call him out for. I hope that comes later.

But the mundaneness in which he's brought back is just so underwhelming just like "ha he doesn't remember anything for the past year. Funny."

Not to mention OldMoon isn't given the full context of Why NewMoon "went crazy" and everyone is just writing him off like that???

Just..

I don't know man.

The entire show is gaslighting us into believing NewMoon was toxic.

But think of before all this.

LOOK AT THE OLD EPISODES.

I watched them.

I watched the entire years worth of content. He is not toxic.

The only remotely Toxic thing he did was yell at people when he got angry in high intense situations, which he apologized for nearly instantly after he calmed down.

And if somebody says "he hung out with Solar more..."

Like what??? Your siblings arent allowed to have friends? If Sun died NewMoon still would have become Nexus. Solar would spiral with him. Cus sure as hell Solar would feel horrendously guilty if another Sun died in his place.

Hanging out with your friends over your siblings is not toxic behavior no matter how many times you spin it.

Newmoon's only crimes before he went in his villian arc are that he was prone to anger and yelling, and he liked hanging out with someone who had similar interests to him.

But he genuinely cared so much, and that care became a poison due to the unappreciation. Which shows in the lack of acknowledgement of Newmoon's good actions throughout the year of his life.

He did everything to help his family. And it's like everyone forgot what a caring individual he was actually. It's so strange. Everyone just says "oh yeah he went crazy" but no one is looking at the perfect storm of steps it took to get there.

NewMoon bought Sun a house, cured several types of cancer, built Earth a body, Gave Lunar a bodyguard, gave Solar and Sun the most expensive luxury gifts at Christmas.

He also helped Sun with his Bloodmoon hallucinations. He was there for him and always regarded Suns input on things. I can not say the same for Sun.

He cared and loved so much. To see the show just turn it around and villain him and act like he didn't love his family for a year and wasn't the sweetest person to them?????

It hurts.

And I am tired of pretending like NewMoon wasn't a good person or brother in the first place.

Because he was.

I'm a little late for WIP Wednesday but I haven't knit since Wednesday so it still counts right?

I have absolutely smashed this underarm portion of the back panel, on row 153/160 (95%!!!). However. My goal for the underarm length is 24 inches. And I'm currently at 22. T-T I will Increase My Total (168 will probably work but I'll report back when I have motivation)

I'm already looking ahead to the upper back portion, which will be about 64 rows based on my gauge. Plus a couple more rows for shoulder shaping.... I'm Actually on row 153 out of 238. 64% finished.

I'm usually a Process Knitter but this is very much a Product Knitter's project. I keep daydreaming about all the lace shawls I could be knitting (but never wear). But the Evil Pink Cardigan.... My precious...

it's implied that the names that warriors and the other gangs have aren't their real ones, which means it isn't just a stylistic choice, so like, what do you think they could be?

(also, just curious, how old do you think the warriors members are?)

it hasn't really come up while writing but honestly for convenience sake (and also what i've seen most other authors do) is have their previous names just be the name of whoever plays them. i think nearly all the warriors chose a new name / were given a new name and stop going by their previous names at all as a way to leave their old lives behind and get a fresh start. swan and fox were both given their names vs most of the others chose their own. i think rembrandt had already started using the name as her graffiti tag even before joining the warriors.

as for their ages, honestly i tend to change them depending on whatever hc or dynamic i want to explore. i think in general cleon and cochise are the oldest in their late twenties (like 28 29 ish), then cowgirl around 26, and ajax around 24 or 25, although sometimes i can see her being a bit older and closer to cleon's age. rembrandt i move around between early or mid twenties just depending on what i'm writing. swan to me is pretty much always early twenties, around 21 or 22 (i explained some of my reasoning and thoughts when it comes to swan's age in this post from a while back). mercy is also around 22 to me. fox i usually think of as around 18 or 19.

Izuku's phone rang right after he finished grading the papers and he doesn't even have to check the caller-ID to know who's calling.

"Hello," he said into the speaker as he shuffled around to sort the papers out. "You called just on time."

He heard Shouto hum and he knew that he was pleased. "I am a very punctual man."

Izuku smiled. "You sure are." He stacked all the papers up, finally finishing all his tasks for the day. "Do you not have patrol duties today? I didn't get a notification of your sightings today."

He heard Shouto let out a surprised laugh and Izuku feels proud of himself. "You follow fan pages of me?"

"Yes, of course! How else will I know where you are?"

He heard Shouto laugh again and Izuku can't help but laugh with him. "Just call me," Shouto said. "I'll always answer."

Izuku felt his heart warm at his words. After they'd become adults, it had been hard to get their off-days to coincide with each other. Izuku won't lie and say that that didn't make him a little sad. It was understandable, yes, but there were days where he wished they could all meet up.

"Thank you," he told Shouto with all the sincerity he could muster. He wanted him to know just how much that meant to him. "Call me whenever, too, okay?"

"Okay," Shouto said and Izuku knew that he was smiling that soft smile that made his fans go wild. He would know. He followed those fan pages.

"Also," Shouto continued, "are you heading out now?"

"Oh, yes, I'm heading out now! I just finished grading the papers so I'll be leaving now. Why?"

"Hm, no reason. Just come fast?"

Izuku felt a smile tug his lips and his feet picked up speed. "Are you standing outside right now?" he asked, already feeling his heart swell with happiness.

"Maybe," Shouto replied and that's all it took for Izuku to break into a run (a fast walk, he'd later explain to Aizawa, because 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴.)

He reached the main entrance and, lo behold, there stood Shouto with a phone in his hand, Ochako, Tsuyu and Tenya standing right beside him and Izuku couldn't help the tears that filled his eyes. He was still a crybaby, but he was fine with it because he had friends who made him feel nice about it. He had friends who would make sure to coincide their off-days just to meet him because they were his heroes and maybe he was theirs.

My old glasses are really worn out, my eyesigh got worse and I'm still using the old graduation. I don't like how I look with them anymore either so it is time to change them (also because I can get a blue filter in the glasses to protect the eyes form screens light and I really need that, and this store has a 2x1 offer so I'll have an extra pair half the price just in case :3c)

The two girls working at the store were really nice and tried their best to help me :')

I spend an hour yesterday trying on glasses... I found two models that I liked right at the end. I just. really. hope. I don't regret my choice when the glasses are done and I try them on again.

Also I feel like I have to say this but FUCK Toy Story 4. Awful movie, bad execution, poor excuse for a sequel.

#they stopped animating several of the toys like TOYS. they completely lost track of what made the first 3 films so charming #which was the fact that woody runs like a puppet and the barbies move like they can’t bend their legs (because they can’t)#and just in general everyone moves awkwardly. they completely fucked it up. bo peep used to move like she was on wheels #why is she now an action girl?? they made her look COMPLETELY different. i think they heard strong female character and assumed #they had to make bo a karate kicking badass. my girl was a badass when she was a solid fucking doll who had basically no movement #in her bottom half #woody would never have abandoned a kid; buzz’s weird psychic inner voice was lazy writing #they utilised the humans WAY too much for my liking. it’s TOY story not story of bonnie’s family #they had the toys break rules near constantly. they didn’t have a good villain #they didn’t use hamm or potato head or jessie or bullseye or rex anywhere near enough #whyyyyyy bring on extra comedy relief characters when YOU HAVE HAMM RIGHT THERE #i feel like the writers didn’t want to bother writing funny sarcasm and wordplay for hamm or just didn’t trust gen alpha kids to understand #it; so they brought in key and peele to do slapstick instead. which is fine but like. the supporting cast literally MADE TS2&3 #why are you not utilising them. is it to justify paying the actors less? because they only got a couple of lines each #there was no good villain. the ventriloquist dummies were creepy and had potential and i honestly thought gabby was going to be the next #lotso; but no one had the guts to go through with it #there was no one to hold a candle to sid or al or lotso or even zurg #i honest to god feel like i could’ve written a better movie. i know someone will pop up like ‘but you didn’t!!’#yeah because i’m not getting paid by fucking disney. if you want a screenplay i’ll write one girl #just don’t act like this film was good. it was boring and the writing was lazy #personal

#undescribed #bonk.png #uninhabited planet survive #mujin wakusei survive #HOOO BOY this is extremely self indulgent bc i like fake episodes n storylines for things n sharla is my second fav of the bunch #before i forgot caption is a line from love me more by mitski n the dialogue is taken straight from wakaba's elevator scene in utena #just altered for the characters' genders obv back to yapping all the pieces were in place for sharla to have a jealousy subplot like in the #second half of the show (after adam is introduced basically) sharla n luna dont as much focus together with the secondary character to luna #shifting to kaoru bc of being more involved in directdanger all the time n sharla not being good at that stuff is relegated to the sidelines #which is something shes insecure about!! shes not as good at survival action as everyone else n doesnt have anything skills unique to her #she LITERALLY stops taking her rations of water so the others can have more bc she feels like she doesnt matter as much as the others!!#shes fairytale girl sharla which is good for morale (esp luna's) but not particularly helpful when theyve gone a few days with no food #she also is implied to have no proper friends before meeting luna in the first episode (at which point they immediately become ride or die)#with her only sort of friend being a girl she hung out with despite her being bullied n excluded who then left her for the bullies #n episode 17 is about her wanting luna to be able to rely on her with them sharing eachother's history of loneliness #the show also has a emphasis on their circumstances escalating emotions n causing them to lash out at eachother theres a episode right b4 #the winter arc where howard is jealous n lashes out bc hes used to being the center of attention but no on on the island really likes himdue #to him being a brat so he soaks up adam's attention like a sponge n freaks out when adam starts favoring menori #which is understandble n somewhat easy to digest n process but you know who has a more prominent history of loneliness n abandonment who is #also prone to insecurity n thrives on someone's affection? sharla n i set this fake story line during the space criminals arc bc it doesnt #really have a lot of character work n takes place right after the winter arc with both having the characters stuck inside for most of it bc #of more direct serious danger n sharla along with chako n shingo would be stuck inside the most BUT with the criminals arc chako n shingo #are actively doing something theyre contributing but all sharla can do is watch adam while luna her bestie luna is out dealing with people #literally hunting them with kaoru who is notably better than everyone else at the whole survival action thing has become closer to lunasince #the winter arc n from what sharla has seen has no flaws or weaknesses theres specific reasons as to why i dont think her negative feelings #would be focused on the others bc for varying reasons she wouldnt feel they threaten her relationship with luna (the rationalization for #bell not being viewed as a possible threat is interesting to me bc of the similarities between him n sharla both of them bonding early on n #her being implied to have a crush on him while he explicitly has a crush on luna but thats not what we're talking about rn)#but none of those reasons really apply to kaoru n she has the reason of Him Saying He Killed Someone to feel more justified in directing #all her stress about their situation n the anxiety crawling up her throat about luna potentially choosing someone else over her onto him
