*But nobody came.

W: ......

W: Something might be wrong, I need to check the—

The console suddenly lost control and the program began to run automatically.

W: What?!

*Determination.

White cracks appeared out of the air, like lightning.

*Double determination.

It began to expand from a seam, slowly extending and widening.

*Determination kept growing.

Wing looked at the computer screen.

*Determination readings were unknown.

He felt a great, great news.

The cracks finally turned into a gray door, standing alone in the middle of the laboratory.

Wing walked towards it, now this scientist who was known for his madness was afraid to try, again.

He took a deep breath and reached out to the doorknob.

Before he got it, someone opened the door on the other side.

The other skeleton rubbed his eye sockets.

W: Look at yourself first

They reunited at the border of the two worlds.

我终于把全文翻译完了哈哈哈哈哈哈哈！

首先感谢Z大和她超棒的《手牌》故事！

我是2019年2月开始写的这个故事，到四月写完，现在看过了整整一年诶。

要不要把这个作为周年纪念hhhhh

一年前我完全没想过，有一天我会把这个故事翻译成英文，让更多的人看到。我要感谢我的朋友遥遥@technitimr 和杏子@sophie12010 ，你们为我提供了极其重要的帮助和校对。还有许多一直在支持我的人，谢谢你们。

Finally! I finished all the translations!

First I want to express my thanks to Zarla and her amazing HandPlates story!

I started to write this story in February 2019, and finished Chapter24 in April, it’s been a whole year.

So what about taking this as an anniversary gift hhhhh

One year ago, I never thought about that one day I would translate this story into English so that more people can see it. So much thanks to my precious friends, 遥遥@technitimr and 杏子@sophie12010 , thank you for your extremely important help and proofreading. There are many people who have been supporting me, thank you everyone.

和遥遥聊天的时候，她说写同人的一大原因是无能狂怒（或者有能狂怒哈哈哈），我深以为然——至少写这个故事的初衷是这样=v=

波澜壮阔又戛然而止，Gaster们的人生总是遗憾的，在《手牌》中Z大把这一位Gaster和他的遗憾描绘得淋漓尽致。真的佩服Z大的人物塑造能力，手牌G的复杂、挣扎和决绝那么真实，这个角色也因此如此生动鲜活，让人觉得他就活在你我身边，带着独属于他的骄傲、悲伤、和决心。

于是就想着，如果两个世界相交，两个站在对立极端但又同样遗憾的Gaster相遇时，会不会得到更好的可能。

原创角色身上或多或少会有着创作者本人的投射，Wing带着夜啥式的幽默感（……）和乐观主义，我又给他加上了我想要拥有的锲而不舍的勇气和极端理性。创造他的初衷是想要一个强势的治愈者，随着故事一步步发展对他的刻画也逐步深入和全面。对我来说，他终于活了过来。

When chatting with 遥遥, she said that one of the main reasons for making fanart is THE WISH OF ANOTHER CHOICE, which I deeply agreed—at least the original intention of writing this story was like this=v=

Magnificent but cut abruptly, the lives of the Gasters are always kind of regretful. In Zarla’s HandPlates, this Gaster and his life are so vividly depicted. I really admire the character-building ability of Zarla. The struggle and determination of handplates!Gaster are so real. He is an outstanding scientist, a man who shoulders too much, and a father, although he doesn’t want to admit it. His complexity makes this character so vivid, letting people feel that he is just living somewhere close to us, with his own pride, sadness, and determination.

So I wondered, if the two worlds intersect, two Gasters standing at opposite extremes but equally regretful meet each other, maybe there will be a good possibility.

The original characters always have more or less features of the creators theirselves. Wing has the NW4-Style humor (...) and optimism, and I added him with the persistence courage and extreme rationality which I want to have. The original intention of creating him was to make a strong healer, and as the story progressed, his characterization gradually became deeper and more comprehensive. This character finally became alive.

在写第一章的时候就想到了最后一章要这样呼应哈哈哈，一路写过来非常随性，段子式的结构，无视第四面墙，添加各种玩梗和致敬的彩蛋，夹带私货，尝试新写法，玩tag……最后完成了这样一个互相��救的故事，真的很开心。

说起来第一章的标题叫做【虽然还没有想好名字但是准备开始写了！】，那么是不是这一章可以叫做【虽然还没有想好名字但是已经写完了！】，哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈！

遥遥说【嘿！亲爱的我自己！】这个名字就很好，于是就定成这个啦！英文译名略作修改，译作【Dearest WingDings】

When I wrote the first chapter, I thought of this kind of inclusio hahaha. I wrote it very casually all the way. The structure of the paragraphs, breaking the fourth wall, adding all kinds of memes, trying new ways of writing, playing tags...and finally finished such a story of saving each other, it’s really happy for me.

The title of the first chapter is “When I wrote the first chapter I wasn’t even sure about the name of this story.”, then can this chapter be titled like “I finished the final chapter but I still wasn’t sure about the name of this story!”?Hahahahaha!

遥遥 said that the name [Hey! Dear myself!] was very good, so be it! And I slightly modified it in the translation,as [Dearest WingDings]
