Another assignment,but with H A N D S 🫢

So,for this assignment,we were supposed to do a hand study (like of the bones and some gesture drawings),and then the final drawing would be a hand holding something (this)

It didn't matter really what we chose for our hands to hold,so I chose a lot of stuff I liked and was dabbling in.

The column was to like,symbolize greek mythology since I had recently got back into that (and dabbled in the religion). The gauntlet was Vi's gauntlet from arcane! I just love vi ♡

The sword is mizu's sword from blue eye samurai. I was just really obsessed with it with the time before or when I made this (I kinda forgot-)

seeing people claim that lucanis is 'bad representation' is hilarious to me because in so many ways he's really the closest anything has ever gotten to capturing my own personal experience. sorry for being bad real life queer and mental health/neurodiversity representation folks 😔 I'll take time to reflect and do some work on myself and try to do better in the future

okay so update on my very meagre dating life: went out with a guy I met at work for coffee on Sunday, right? it was nice, good conversation, we seem to match up pretty well, we kissed and it was.... fine. it was fine, there weren't any butterflies and I've had worse kisses but it wasn't exactly great. we were at this garden on a bench and kissed a bit and he asked me how I felt about "public stuff" and I was like. actually I'm super not comfortable with that personally, and he backed off on it and we moved on.

SO a couple days ago he said he wanted to see me again, I agreed, and he sends me this

now idk about you guys but this seems WILDLY presumptuous to me. inviting yourself over to my house on a second date???? where I will almost certainly have to do most of the cooking???? I don't know if I'm just overreacting but I don't like this. so I told him I wasn't comfortable with that yet and I'd rather go out somewhere. radio silence for like six hours. and then he calls me on the phone. I didn't answer, I was busy, but like. first off don't call me out of nowhere, I hate that shit, second, he didn't leave a message OR send a follow up text, until like an hour later when he just goes "did you get my call". I don't even want to get dinner any more

things haven’t been great lately, everything came crashin down on me thursday evening. i was at work n ended up breaking down cryin in front of a customer… not my finest moment lol. but there’s smthin different now, idk why but i feel a real tiny bit of hope that things will change 4 me n it wont always be like this. idk how long it’ll take but i think i wanna stick around n find out. i know it’s not my time, n i believe that 4 all of us. i hope u all know it doesn’t have 2 be ur end. despite the dark shit that’s always lingering somehow i feel this little like warmness in my heart that i’ve never had n idk why i have it but i wanna share it ..nothing lasts 4ever, ur pain won’t last 4ever. don’t leave b4 u reach the beautiful things that r waitin 4 u

Prompt 16 - Projection

“Okay, it’s ready!” James called out, and everyone began to move into the living room. Remus led Sirius into the room and got a good spot by the window. Sirius moved close to his side, and they looked over at the large blank stretch of wall.  

A wall-sized projection of Lily’s smiling face was plastered on the wall. James held up a remote, and once everyone was gathered, he pressed play. 

Images of Lily began shuffling across the wall. Lily on the beach, Lily with James at his parent's summer house, Lily being carried over James’s shoulder on a night out, Lily and Remus curled up in a loveseat sipping hot chocolate, Lily, James and Remus on the garden swing, Lily James and Remus on the ground with the broken garden swing beside them. The final one was a picture of James and Lily at New Year kissing with fireworks exploding in the background. It was Lily's favourite picture of them. 

“Lily,” James walked in front of the projected picture, his and Lily’s faces now showing on his shirt. “Lily, you are the best thing to happen to me,”

“Oi!” Marlene called out in objection. 

“Apart from Marlene,” James allowed. He and Marlene had been friends since birth, living next door to each other. She was the first person to ever make him eat mud, Lily being the second. “Lily, you’ve been there through the good times and the not-so-good times,” Remus thought back to earlier that year when both of James’s parents had died. Effie had gone first, succumbing to a bad case of pneumonia, and Monty followed just days later of a heart attack. They all believed it was really from a broken heart, as the Potters were soulmates, and one without the other wasn’t something that should ever happen. “I couldn’t have survived this last year without you, and I don’t want to continue into the future and not be at your side. Lily Jean Evans, will you marry me?” And James dropped down on one knee, producing a small velvet box from his pocket and opening it to reveal a beautiful emerald ring the same colour as Lily’s eyes. 

“Oh, James,” Lily gasped, “Yes, yes, I will marry you,” Remus had never seen the pair look happier. He watched as James slid the ring onto Lily’s left hand.

Sirius slipped his hand into Remus’s as Lily jumped into James’s arms. 

“Wanna be my date to the wedding?” Remus asked Sirius, squeezing his hand. 

“Yeah,” Sirius sighed happily as an entire room of mostly drunk people cheered as Lily and James kissed, mirroring the picture now projected on themselves.

KARMA SPOILERS not to alarm anyone but the fact that dongha is working on that anti-metalation research project and trying to reverse the effects + the fact that hajun is a living miracle survivor (an undocumented one, at that) of metal erosion and the best possible case study in a research focused on metal erosion recovery, means that we need to consider the chances of dongha having to hear that story eventually, and something that personal and intimate can (ideally) only be shared in an environment of vulnerability / understanding. (and if not, how would dongha even react to that. how would he handle knowing that almost-loss of hajun dying) so, if i do the calculation, what stage of reconciliation will warrant that kind of disclosure. what are the odds of the yeon kids ever talking to each other at such a level that hajun’s experience becomes so incredibly valuable to dongha (and the yeon conglomerate, by extension) that the family crosses paths again. doyou understand what i am talking about here. what if they Talk. what if it goes well. what if it doesn’t. what are the odds that it will happen. how long do you think it’ll be until we have to go through the torment of the yeon kids facing each other in such a context where they cannot ignore or walk past each other, what will it do to dongha, what will it do to hajun, what will that even mean for their relationship, who else is going crazy right now.
