I’m a little late, I know. but, would it really be me if it wasn’t?

this is just a brief post to sum up some stuff from 2020, and to say what’s ahead for 2021!

first of all; I apologise for the crappy banner, I made it on my phone, so forgive me if it isn’t great. I was in a bit of a rush, since this is already late. I just wanted to lay a few things out. mainly, some of the good things that came out of last year, and what’s going on in this one!

so, to start with, let me start with saying thank you to you all! I hit two follower milestones this year, and that’s down to you all, so thank you! I made so many new friends this year, across different fandoms, and that’s awesome! it’s been amazing. particularly @dylinski​ and @samstaylor​ who I made friends with early this year, and I feel like I’ve spoke to pretty much very day since? wild. also, @moteldwelling​, and we only became friends a few months ago, but we’re already happily married. wifey.

then, there’s the continued friendships, such as @stylesharrys​, who had been my friend since 2016 (right?), and although we have different fandoms now, and we have busy lives, I still remember days when we had so much free time we could talk on the phone during lunch breaks. equally insane on facetime, though, that hasn’t changed.

we also got a whole bunch of new stuff. I’m pretty sure I wrote double the amount this year that I’ve written in all four years I’ve had this blog. tomuary started out because I was finally getting my motivation back, and needed to fill my time. I was between jobs, and bored as hell, and created tomuary. then, I got a whole bunch of requests for more themed months, and so nogitjune and mitchtober were born. I never thought we’d be getting to a second one, and yet, here we are!

while 2020 may not have been a great year, we had a pretty great time online, right? I hope I was able to help some of y’all in some way. 

looking ahead, we have a bunch of cool stuff to come. this is the second year of all the character months, and that is thrilling. this year is 5 years of me having this blog (half a decade!) and I might plan a little something-something to celebrate, I’m not sure yet. I’m back at work, and doing college work now, so I won’t be writing as much, but I still have some stuff I want to get out for you! I also plan to expand into more fandoms again! particularly marvel, with some bucky stuff, but possibly supernatural too? we shall see. 

you can expect to see me finishing up the series’ that have been abandoned for a while. its my aim to finish up everything that is currently a loose thread, get them all knotted up and clean. I also want to work through my drafts, I have so many ideas that are half-planned, so over this year, that is what I want to work on. 

so, lets sum this shit up. I said it would be brief didn’t I? well, if you’ve made it this far, have a gold star, because I’ma fucking liar, clearly. just a huge thank you for everything, and stay strong for 2021! I know shit is crazy, I do, and I hope the best for you all. I love every single one of you, let’s work together to have an epic ‘21, okay?

aghhhh!!!! i absolutely adore sits so far & i’m so happy to be reading more of your writing :) i’ve been so busy since saf ended, but now i can relax & enjoy nogitjune, it felt like yesterday tomuary ended. can’t wait to see how this series plays out bc i’m a sucker for despising to adoring each other - 🌞
